Mike is amazing! I used to take my BMW 325i and now take my VW Jetta GLI, so I’ve been going to him for a few years. He’s super knowledgeable and has always taken the time to explain exactly what he’s doing, going so far as to show the damage in the part he replaced. He’s very fair and I know my car is in good hands. He also manages to finish up early!
Amazing mechanic! Best I’ve ever had, he corrected a problem that a previous mechanic had lied to me about. Mike went through every detail with me with extreme patience. He showed me the measurements his computer was reading, showed me old parts and what my car was doing and demonstrated the effects. Absolutely stand up mechanic with tons and tons of experience. I can’t recommend him high enough. Fair prices, doesn’t overcharge, and provides the most expert work I’ve ever experienced with a mechanic. If you have a German car this is the only place you should be taking it. He is around the back of the building! Don’t go to the shop in front they will over charge you.
Mike is the only honest Euro mechanic in Tampa. His service is second to none. He is very straightforward about what is wrong and very fairly priced. I exclusively use Mike and would recommend him to anymore. Simple better service.
Mike is the man!! I took my BMW 528i in to him to get looked at and he fixed everything on the cheap. Best mechanic in Florida!!
I took my BMW 5-series in for a variety of engine issues that three other mechanics quoted me between $400-$650 to take care of. Mike fixed all my issues and charged me $100. I couldnt believe how quickly he got everything done. Ive found my mechanic, my husband and I wont be going anywhere else for help 10/10 would highly recommend :)
Moving to Tampa I had learned from past experiences and decided to FIRST pick the auto service then the car. Mike is the highest rated mechanic in Tampa ..... so I went for the full adventure and bought a 13 years old Mercedes convertible (with spider webs in it) on ebay out of state and had it shipped directly to Mikes garage. Mike quickly found 4 issues and fixed them (including a significant engine repair) He does not fix stuff that is still good and does not require replacement. German Auto Services is the shop you wish you had known about before. AwesomeMIKE IS FOUND ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE BUILDING NOT THE SHOP ON THE FRONT SIDE
Mike was fantastic! He knew exactly what to do to fix my VW Passat air conditioning and even put in late hours to get it done earlier than promised. I will definitely go back.
Mike is very knowledgeable and helpful. He charged a reasonable price and repaired an issue with my fuel system that another service provider couldn’t find. My baby is back on the road and running beautifully!
Expert mechanic. Kept my Mercedes in great shape for many years Half price of the dealers with better service!
Excellent, on time service with exceptional care and patience taken to each quandary. I will absolutely be using the services here again! I was originally referred here by 2 fellows at the DMV after describing mishaps with my Mini Cooper that 3 auto shops could not remedy to completion. He fit a 15 min diagnostic appointment in, ordered parts, and upon arrival a few hours later had my Lil Blue trustworthy again!
Mike is an excellent diagnostician. He used a methodical and knowledgeable approach to fix a persistent exhaust problem. While the dealer told me I needed anew turbo (which would have exceeded the value of the car), Mike found a simple leak and quickly fixed it. He gave me a clear schedule. Sent me pictures of the problem before commencing the work. My car was ready when he said it would be. His prices are very reasonable - especially considering that he knows what he is doing and if able to find the least-cost repair. I will never go to the dealer again.
When I took my (“baby”) Benz E350 Sport here for the first servicing 2 years ago, OMG Absolutely Fantastic work! The car drove better than it did when I took it for a test drive at 39000 miles!!!!! With COVID and the devastating 2020 behind us- I will treat my baby to another service here. It’s good to have something you can count on nowadays. Thank goodness
What a great place! Mike was extremely kind and helpful. He was able to get me an estimate and repair same day. Very knowledgeable about my Mercedes Ml350 but also learned that he can service our 1970 VW Westfalia! Great, locally owned business. Definitely will be returning.
Had a great experience with Mike. Hes a German car mechanic from Germany running his own shop. Got an appointment relatively quickly. He diagnosed a failing starter and was able to get the part and install it the day I dropped off the car. Spotted a missing bolt in my front suspension (from a repair at another shop) and installed it at no charge. Reasonable prices and an interesting guy to talk to.
I finally found a place in Tampa where I feel comfortable taking my BMW. Mike is very fair and has my car ready for me in a reasonable time.
This auto shop is amazing. He saved me $130 for a battery change than what the dealership wanted to charge me. Hes got my business from here on out. Rational, professional and dependable.
Highly recommend German Auto Services for repairs to a BMW! The owner replaced the emergency brake clip on my 2014 BMW 328i at a fraction of the labor cost that BMW was going to charge, and did as good of a job, if not better! His repair fixed my issue and I would certainly go back considering his expertise with German vehicles.
Mike has been great with my Volkswagen. His experience with and knowledge of German automobiles is top notch! He treats my vehicle as if it were his own. He tells me truth about not what only needs to be done but also informs me on issues that should be addressed in a informative way. Not pushy. He uses quality parts and perform the service in a timely manner with text updates all along the way. I recommend Mike if your German automobile needs anything in the Tampa/North St. Pete area. Even worth the drive if youre further.
Whenever I had problems with my car( Volkswagen) I had to do appointments, leave the car for a few days in the shop and pay a lot of money. This time engine light was on and I searched the famous name of shops to check this problem (work 10 minutes) but it is only done with appointments and lasts two hours because they have a lot of work. I searched online and found German car repair, I found Mike who checked and gave me a diagnosis. The next day I left the car and within a few hours it was repaired. Thank you Mike for the way you serve your clients and Ill stay with you forever. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart. You have to try to get to know Mike if you have a German car. Thank You Mike.
Im so happy I found this place and Mike! Ive got a VW Passat 2013. Ive seen him twice now to check on an O2 sensor issue. I called him and he said to come on by. He knows whats up and is honest. Hes going to my mechanic for sure!
I cant say enough wonderful things about Mike. He is honest, extremely knowledgeable and reliable. Mike serviced our BMW X3 for several years for the previous owner and its in great shape as a result. Since I purchased this car, he has saved me $$ and gave me honest advice. Several of my friends go to Mike also and are super happy. Highly recommend!
My husband and our took our BMW’s to Mike. Mike stayed informative and professional the entire time. He worked late to insure both cars were repaired in a timely manner. We have found our mechanic for life! Highly recommend!!!
I took my 2013 BMW, F13, 650i N63 to Mike to diagnose the engine & turbo coolant lines. He was great. He looked for engine failure in the injectors, checked the timing, chain oil leak and the consumption of Rod bearings, front & rear crankshaft seal parallel to my mileage. Thanks for great service Mike!
Woke up today with a check engine light on in my wife’s Volkswagen. Great. Wasn’t looking forward dealing with the VW dealerships and their horrible service writers in the area. We decided to give this local shop a shot. I called Mike and asked if he had time to look at the car and he said bring it to him. This man had the problem diagnosed in less than 1 minute, he’s like the Volkswagen whisperer. He told us what it would take to repair the vehicle and showed us what parts it would need. We agreed to the repair and he told us the vehicle would be ready in two days. The vehicle was ready in 8 hours. This man worked until 9:30 PM and called us to come get the car, you will never get that kind of service from a dealership. Please if you are in need of repair for your European car, give Mike a chance to show you what he can do. The car drives better than it ever has.MIKE IS FOUND ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE BUILDING NOT THE SHOP ON THE FRONT SIDE
I am so thankful that I found Mike to service my VW Jetta. I was quoted an insane amount at the dealership and was introduced to Mike for a second opinion. Following Mikes check, it turns out a lot of what the dealership said was required to be fixed was not even necessary. They wanted to replace the whole power steering pump when it only needed more power steering fluid, etc. Mike is honest and is a true specialist. I am happy to have finally found a reliable mechanic that I trust. Thank you, Mike!
My Audi A4 is running so much better since Mike fixed the control arms, removed carbonation, and did other work. He trained in Germany and knows German cars exceptionally well. His rates are reasonable. In fact, he charged me less than $2,000 for work that an ordinary mechanic wanted $5,000 for.
I have a 2010 VW golf and had to take my car to 3 different repair places that all told me they couldn’t figure out what’s wrong with it (one even kept the car for 4 days then told me the car was fine which it 100% was not at all).Took the car here, and the owner diagnosed the car in 10 minutes and had it fixed that same day at a VERY reasonable cost considering the urgency of the issue I had. I now swear by this man as long as I have a German car!
Second time Ive taken my car (328i) to this shop (different issues both times), and again I received excellent service. The owner is straightforward, quick and effective. You never want to have to take your car to a mechanic, but when you do you want a man like this. Top notch.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THE AUTO REPAIR NEXT DOOR CALLED LIGHTNING AUTO POSING AS GERMAN AUTO. I SENT MY DAD TO GERMAN AUTO, AND THE PLACE NEXT DOOR POSED AS GERMAN AUTO. IF YOU HAVE A GERMAN CAR MAKE SURE YOU GO TO THE BACK OF THE BUILDING WHERE IT SAYS GERMAN AUTO AND TALK TO MIKE. THE PERSON YOU WANT IS NAMED MIKE, IS OLDER AND HAS AN ACCENT.Ive had all my BMWs serviced at German Auto for 18+ years. Mike has exceeded expectations every time and then dont come anymore honest than Mike. I cant recommend him enough. Very honest and looking forward to doing business with him for many years to come.
Took my BMW in for spark plugs, oil change, cabin filter, and air filters. Mike was timely and even took care of an issue with my O-rings on my Turbo intake pipe at no extra charge. Very honest guy and his prices are more than fair. Highly recommend.
Unbelievable service. Mike came through when we needed a time sensitive fix on our tail lights. If you are looking for the best guy in town - Mike is your man. His knowledge and expertise is incomparable. Dont settle for mediocrity as Mike will let you know what needs to be fixed while giving you the fairest price for his quality service.
The absolute most knowledgeable mechanic I know. Very honest man and straight forward. Hes going to give you the fairest price he can and have you back on the road as soon as possible. Expert at his craft.
I was referred by a friend who has had good experiences with Mike at German Auto Service. I was not disappointed. I had a problem with my Mercedes while driving and had to have it towed to Mikes shop, which is located on Gandy Blvd. I called him before having the car towed (it was 6 PM) and he volunteered to stay late to take a look at the issue with my car, which was much appreciated. He diagnosed the problem immediately and determined that the car needed a part, which could not be obtained locally. Mike ordered the part, kept me informed about the status of getting the part, did the work immediately upon getting the part and charged me what I considered a reasonable amount for the repair. Mike is obviously knows his stuff and Id use him again without hesitation if another issue arises with my Mercedes.
I have had my 2006 BMW serviced here multiple times now and each experience has been great. Mike, the owner, is attentive, honest, and works with you one on one with the issue. His service is experienced, of quality and of timely nature. On both occasions, moderate repairs have been delivered same-day. The great communication between Mike and the costumer makes the experience worth while. Highly recommended.
Mike performed admiral work on my BMW 330 Ci and my Mercedes 320 4Matic Wagon a few months ago. I am pleased to say that both vehicles are still running great and I havent had any issues. Mike was easy to work with and was very knowledgeable. Would easily recommend.
I have not had a good relationship with Mike. For instance, I had a squeak in my steering wheel when I turned it. He told me that it would be too complicated and expensive to access it and to live with it. I went to You Tube and it mentioned a simple fix by spraying a lubricant. I mentioned this to Westshore Automotive and they did the fix for a very small fee. My BMW 2006 330 I was losing oil and Mike did the repair at a cost of over $1000, when he said See? No leak! It was in an area of the car that was not the logical place for a repair for an oil leak, and a few months later, the low oil indicator came back on. I also mentioned this to Westshore and was told that, though this part of the car was indeed repaired, the area of repair was not the right area to repair for losing oil. The fact is, these cars just lose oil because of their high compression engines---its a fact with these engines. There was another repair that Mike quoted that seemed very high. I had another mechanic that I used when I lived in a different part of the state, and when I visited friends,I went to that mechanic and he charged me significantly less. Usually when dealing with businesses, one has a business relationship that develops over time. But every time I came to Mike, he acted like he was seeing me for the first time, and I could not develop any kind of business rapport with him. The last time I saw him, he asked me to write a favorable Google review because they were building an overpass and he was obviously concerned about losing business. I figured I wouldnt write any kind of review because everyone is entitled to make a living. But after the simple repair of my steering wheel squeak, I figured it was time to mention my experiences with this mechanic.
My daughters 2003 VW Beetle needed electrical and a/c repairs - Mike at German Auto Service knew precisely the parts that needed to be replaced. He did an excellent job of informing us of the type of repairs, cost of parts & labor. Mike knew exactly what the problems were and then fixed it for a fair price. I will continue to bring her car to Mike and highly recommend German Auto Service!
I went to Mike for a brake job on my 2007 Audi A4 last week. He has an incredible attention to detail. He wanted to see the car in person to ensure he was giving me an accurate estimate based on the specific rotors, etc... When I went for the estimate, I told him the Audi dealership said I needed a valve cover gasket replaced, because the engine was leaking oil. I said I would be back for that another time. He said Pop the hood. Within 20 seconds he correctly diagnosed that the leak was due to the PCV valve, not the valve cover gasket. By the way, hundreds of dollars saved there. Thanks Mike... He is very focused and takes great pride in his work. The brake job was perfect, and his quote was hundreds less than the dealership. The best part is, the actual charge came out to be less than what he quoted me. How many places will do that !!! Very honest, and he has earned my business for as long as I own my Audi...
Mike provided excellent auto repair service but more importantly peace of mind. My college aged daughter recently began having major car issues 1200 miles from home and on her own. Mike lived up to his stellar reputation and took excellent care of our daughter and her car. He worked tirelessly to diagnose and repair her car, showed her everything he was doing and even gave her a short lesson in the workings of her engine. Can not recommend him enough! For good old fashioned, honest mechanic look no further.
If you have a BMW, Mercedes, Audi or VW.........Mike at German Auto Service is where you need to go.If you’re still taking your car to the dealer you are throwing your money away. He fixed my issues for half of what the dealer quoted me and patiently showed and detailed for me what the problems were. Within 5 minutes he had the diagnostic equipment hooked to the car and had the issues identified. Quick, efficient, honest and reliable. He even called after I had picked up the car to ask and ensure the car was running properly. How many businesses/individuals have an ALL 5-star rating?!? - kinda tells you something. And if you’re a female that’s hesitant to bring your car to a mechanic, he’s honest, straightforward and truthful. I highly recommend Mike at German Auto Service.
Great experience. Mike is honest and knowledgeable. Repair was performed at fraction of dealer cost. Note: Make sure you get to his shop in the back (with the German auto sign above the garage bay door).
Mike is an excellent mechanic. He definitely knows German cars. Hes the first mechanic that i found that knew exactly what needed to be done in order to fix the problem. He also does his work in a reasonable time frame. I wont be going to any other mechanics to work on my Volkswagen, thats for sure.
Mike came highly recommended from another trusted mechanic and he certainly did not disappoint. Had an electrical issue with my 2010 VW CC and Mike had it diagnosed and fixed in less than 24 hours. Would highly recommend Mike to anyone.
Best mechanic I have ever met! He always has time to fit my car into his schedule and Ive always gotten it back the same day! Mike goes above and beyond to explain the mechanics of your car and why the work needs to be done. Very knowledgeable man. I always search around for the best prices when it comes to maintenance on my car and his prices are always the best. Highly recommend:)
Workshop is great! Excellent service, quick assistance, reasonable price with the same quality as dealership! Mike is a great guy and always provides a great advises on your vehicle in terms of maintenance. If you have a German car I do highly recommend this place !
I recently bought a used newer model 4 series BMW. Mike was recommended to me as a local alternative to the BMW dealerships. Since the four year service warranty is no longer transferable I had to pay to have my brakes flushed and all four brake pads replaced. Mike advised that I could go a little bit longer on the brakes; however, since the vehicle was new to me I had him do the work. The wheels had locks on that caused an issue with them being taken off. Mike worked with one of the dealers to get the job done. His rates are very reasonable. If you have work needed for your German vehicle please give Mike a call. German Auto Service is a valuable asset to South Tampa that should not be overlooked. I highly recommend this business!!!!!
Mike has excellent service and he clearly knows his German cars. Its not a flashy shop, but he gets the job done right at a reasonable price. I highly recommend him!
Mike recently diagnosed and repaired my used 2005 BMW. He is very knowledgeable and honest and instilled trust first by phone, and then when we met. He explained the repairs needed, gave me an estimate and even though one repair was pricey, he fixed it and after driving it I realized how much that repair was needed. I will continue to have Mike service my 2005 BMW and I am sure I will have many years of great driving ahead. Thanks Mike!
I needed some repairs done to my 1988 Mercedes 560 SEL Classic . A car with sentimental value to me, since it belonged to my deceased brother . I had taken this car to another mechanic recommended by an Auto Parts in Waters Avenue, and after a lot of money, the car only lasted a few weeks running . I researched German Auto Service and noticed the 5 star reviews and decided to give it a shot . I had the car towed to German Auto Service and seconds off the trucks platform, Mike was already opening the hood and checking it out . This gentleman is an European Car Genius ! . In two days my car was done and driving like a new car at a reasonable price . He went out of his way and even took care of small details to bring this car to his original glory ! Now I understand why everyone gave Mike 5 stars . I wont let anyone else touch my car from now on, Mike is my mechanic of choice for my Mercedes . Thank you Mike !
Beyond happy with Mike and the quality of his work, he knows BMWs! He fixed a problem the dealer told me they could not find for MONTHS, because he took time to research my complaints and didnt just do a standard test and move on. Fastest turn around Ive experienced with any auto shop - AND took time to detail the problem to me so I could actually understand it. Kept photo documentation of work done for me so I could see why and where as well as noted in the receipt. My car hasnt driven this smooth in I cant tell you how long! Highly recommend!
Great service! Mike is an honest and caring mechanic that will walk you through any issues you have with your car. I could not recommend him enough.
Mike was simply fantastic. He was recommended to me when I needed work on my cars AC and an oil change. Mike was straight forward, honest and fair. Not only that, from the time I showed up, my car was finished within 24 hours! I went to countless name brand places first and left bitterly disappointing with price and service. Needless to say, Mike has won my business as long as I own a German car! Great experience.
Mike is extremely knowledgeable. Thank you for all that you do.
I have a 1971 V W camper that kept stalling when I put on the brakes. I heard about German Auto for years but never went there. The first time I met Mike and told him my issues he set me up to come in the next day. While I was there making the appointment I mentioned a problem with my gears grinding when I shift sometimes. He went inside and got a tarp and went under the van and fixed it at no charge, I have had another repair shop fix this three times before and it always started doing the same thing within weeks but not anymore thanks to Mike he is the best. He is knowable, timely and not a rip off like some places, I highly recommend him and I have owned 2 V W campers for 25 years.
I finally found the mechanic of my dreams. My friend recommended Mike and I was extremely pleased with the service and the personal touch. He was honest and timely. I am somewhat concerned about the future construction on Gandy, It will make it a bit difficult to get to Mike @ German Auto Service, but I will find a way. he is worth the effort and has an adorable puppy in his office. JANE
So I had some weired noises going on with my Audi and took it to be looked at by other Mechanics. Anyways without even really looking at it other mechanics were saying I needed all kinds of things done with no quarantees it would solve my problem. I brought it to Mike and he took the time to isolate my problem and saved me money which was appreciated. Mike is a straight shooter and does quality work. All the noises I was hearing was gone at half the price of other quotes! Thanks Mike....
Last week Mike showed exceptional service. Our A/C in our Mercedes SUV did not work. We use this car every day and cannot leave it with a mechanic for days. Mike took it upon himself to help us in a way no other place would have done. Same day in the early evening the car was ready for pickup. Mike showed us the broken part and took the time to make us happy. This is the service Mike gives you.Mike, you have my business for life. Thank you for your honestyAllan
Mike does a great job. About 40% cheaper than the dealer and does a better job. He met me there on Sun night to diagnose my AC issue so he could order parts first thing Mon morning.
Mike is a great mechanic. My 2012 Volkswagen CC started smoking and the engine eventually shut off in which I had the car towed to his shop.He was very knowledgeable and diagnosed I would need a new crankshaft and intake manifold.Volkswagen dealership would have quoted me a bunch of other things Im sure as I have been charged outrageous amounts in the past.Mikes German auto is the way to go if a trusty German car mechanic is needed! Thanks Mike 😃
I went to Mike for work on my BMW, based on all the positive reviews on this & other websites. He did not disappoint, but instead exceeded my expectations. He does all the work himself. He promptly diagnosed my problems, ordered parts & was ready to repair my car the next day. He had the job done in under two hours! He is honest & his prices are reasonable. The shop is a bit difficult to find, in the rear portion of a body shop on West Gandy Blvd, directly across from La Quinta Inn Tampa South, but well worth seeking out. Finally, I would recommend Mike at German Auto Service to anyone. Hes a true gem!Joyce K
I ordered and Paid Cash for a BMW Repair, My Car was Repaired and I drove Home. After a routine inspection I found Parts are Missing, Parts not installed Property, I had to return and ask for Missing Parts, I supplied a new Part and revived no Credit on My Bill. No Invoice or Bill. No Warranty. I do not plan on a Return Visit..
Excellent service. He fixed my car same day. He didnt try to hard sell me and was honest about the work that needed to be done. Very fair pricing. So happy to have found him
This guys a hack. A total fraud and thief. Don’t go here. I left this place in worse condition then when I arrived. He charged me $150.00 for a $15.00 part. Over charged me for transmission fluid that he supposedly changed and stripped a bolt in the process, then blamed it on a previous mechanic.
Had a great experience with this place, hes a really easy going guy to speak to and work with. Had to get spark plugs replaced and dropped my car off around 11 and in that same day around 4:30, the job was complete and my car was all good! Definitely recommend.
I wish I would have heard of this place sooner. I called Mike with some symptoms I was seeing on my 2008 MINI Cooper S and before I got the car dropped off he already had the correct parts ordered. I was expecting him to keep the car for a few days considering hes the only mechanic, but I had my car back the same day! He seemed confident working on my car compared to other mechanics in the area. I will definitely be going back to him whenever I need servicing.
Takes great care of my BMW. Great mechanic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and honest. Highly recommend!
Mike provided excellent expedited service at a fair price. We would definitely take our VW Beetle back to him!
I own a car dealership in Miami and sold a car to a customer in Tampa. We had the car sent to Mike at German Auto Service for some repairs. My customer was thrilled with the result. Mike did an impressive job from start to finish and even his prices for me, a dealer, were more than reasonable. If only he was local to me I would send all my Mercedes to him for service and repair prior to sale.
Mike is a very honest and knowledgeable mechanic. When I took my Mercedes to Mike he not only showed me what parts needed replacing but also explained what each part does. He even had my vehicle fixed the same day!
This place is outstanding!!! I’ve been getting my car serviced there for years. Mike is honest, quick and reasonably priced. He stands behind his work and takes the time to explain what the issues are. I’m a customer for life.
The most knowledgeable Mercedes mechanic Ive ever met Mike is a very nice guy and very fear I wouldnt hesitate to send anyone to him to have work done on their vehicle I must also add that going home I have a new problem with my vehicle and I called Mike and I was Almost Home so he he asked me if I could come back I said I couldnt he told me that he would come by my house that evening and check the car out again he came by my house after it closes shop Which is Unheard of Fixed a additional coil with it gone Bad on the car on the way home and then would not accept any payment for the work this kind Of caring and honesty is unheard of today Im 75 years old and handicapped and Mike is one in a million I assure you if you need any work done on your German vehicle this is the man to take it tooSincerlyPaul Wolfert
He was great!! We were in from out of town visiting family and my Audi broke down. Mike took care of me right away. Sent pictures to update me throughout the process and was incredibly affordable compared to the dealer. He also finished the work early and held the car for me till I could arrange to pick up. I would recommend him to anyone. He really knows what hes doing!
Mike has a ton of experience, excellent customer focus, and he was easy to schedule with. I had an intermittent AC problem in my 2008 Mercedes. Instead of replacing the compressor and handing me a huge bill, he thoughtfully checked all aspects, came up with an alternative theory, tested, & I have nice cold AC again! Mike explains the problem clearly and works efficiently so you get your car back quickly. I will definitely call Mike the next time my car has an issue.
Mike started servicing my 2006 Audi A4 back in 2012. I never stopped coming back to him. He uses original or high quality parts and avoids using cheaply made aftermarket or refurbished parts. He is highly skilled, very knowledgeable and stands by his work. Because he uses original parts you also have the security behind the manufacturer warranty. He is very good at diagnosing and resolving issues and does the job right the first time. Although I no longer own the Audi (lost it in an accident) it was running like new even with 170k miles under the hood because of him. I have continued to own German car brands (this time a Mercedes SUV) because I have no doubt in my mind that if I need to have it serviced, I know exactly where to go. He is honest and upfront. No bs from him! I trust him completely and I have full confidence in his ability. I dont mind paying the bill because it is well deserved and very reasonable. Danke Mike!
Mike is very hands on and has no issue taking you under your own hood and directing you to the problem. Not being the most car savvy person myself, Mike took it on himself to explain to me what was going wrong and how we could fix it in the simplest terms. After leaving the shop we have stayed in contact as he will occasionally text me to check how the car is doing. Overall a great experience, and a great dude.
Mike is a trustworthy mechanic that has decades of German auto repair experience. - I have a BMW Z4 he takes care of at a fraction of a dealers repair shop. I recently had my 60K mile maintenance- he follows all the manufacturers recommendations. I can highly recommend his work.
Mike did a great job of diagnosing and fixing my 12 year old BMW 330CiC within a day. He is obviously knowledgeable about European cars and didnt try to sell me on repairs I didnt need. Honest, reliable, reasonable rates. Will go back to Mike when we need additional car service!
Mike is excellent, beyond fair, extremely knowledgeable, and super fast. He has kept my 2000 MB 430 running like new without breaking the bank. Almost all repairs have been completed the same day,, Most times he correctly diagnosed the issue within seconds. I wish I had someone like Mike for all the other facets of life.
Did a great job solving my brake and computer diagnostics. Much lower labor rate than any other Mercedes mechanic around town. He knows his stuff and explains the work and theory of operations in great detail. Will use only him from now on!
I love this mechanic! He has worked on my 1998 BMW 318i, twice. Mike found the last part in the United States for my car in 30 mins and did the repair in one hour WOW! Mike called me the same day to check on the car to make sure the work he has done is good to go and the car is running good. Awesome!!!!!
Being a woman with a BMW, it’s refreshing to trust a mechanic at his word and his work. German Auto Service is honest, knowledable, affordable, and most importantly done right the first time. If you own a BMW and don’t take your car to German Auto Service, you are throwing you money away. Thank you German Auto Service for another superior job.
Mike is a one man show, but he provides excellent service! He goes the extra mile, is very honest and reasonable. Very happy with his work. Will be taking both my sons and wifes Minis to him for any issue. I was expecting my sons mini to be done on Monday as Mike had said, but he called me late Saturday asking if I wanted to pick it up. Who does that? Like I said he goes the extra mile!!! Would recommend him to anyone with a German car!!
Mike at German Auto Service is the Main Reason I still drive an older model Mercedes Benz . He has a Thorough understanding and full knowledge of German car engineering . He is honest to the point and fair . He will explain in detail the work that you need done. He has the latest Diagnostic equipment to help him pin point the work that needs to be done. He is an asset to have for your German car service. If it wasnt for Mike i probably would be driving a Honda or Toyota... I highly recommend him to all my friends that drive German cars...
I have an older 1980s Mercedes-Benz 380SL and Mike did excellent work. My vehicle only needed the hood insulation replaced but Mike did a great job and provided excellent advice for some future optional work Im looking at having done. He also took the time to provide me with tips on typical issues he has seen in my vehicle year and model and what to look for in the future in order to do preventative maintenance vice repairs. Mike seems very honest and does not recommend unnecessary repairs.
Mike is honest and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him to anyone with a German car! He goes above and beyond as hes given me a ride home as he worked on my car, came in on his day off to make a repair and ALWAYS follows up with a phone call the next day to ensure all is well with the repair! In this day and age of shady mechanics, do yourself a favor and go see Mike, you wont be sorry you did
Fantastic service! Explained everything that needed to be fixed, how that mechanism worked, and gave me reasonable fees. Mike even remembered me from two years ago! Hes the only mechanic I trust to service my VW Beetle and not over charge me as a 21 year old girl.
I was referred to Mike after several mechanics could not help me with my Volkswagen Tiguan. He diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, and corrected the problem immediately. Mike was extremely knowledgeable, honest and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him, and relieved I have a mechanic I can trust with his level of expertise.
Mike is extremely knowledgeable and very honest. His workmanship is top notch. Couldn’t recommend anyone better than him.
We have a 2007 Dodge Sprinter with a 3.5L gasoline engine and 335K miles. This vehicle was built by Mercedes and usually because of the complex systems has to go to the Dodge or Mercedes dealers for $$$$$$ service. We met Mike a few years ago and he has offered expert advice without strings attached. This time he came through like a champ in record time for a very serious engine failure. He did everything he promised and more which is a rare thing these days. Thanks Mike.
Mike is an absolute expert on German cars and a real square dealer. Never will suggest unnecessary work and his rates are very fair.
Mike is an honest and good mechanic. Its hard to find a trusted mechanic these days, especially for a German car.Mike performed the maintenance required by Audi and solved an oil leak problem. All at a reasonable price.Make sure you call him to schedule an appointment.I will be a return customer definitely.
Mike is a professional mechanic! I brought in my 325I 03 for no crank and no start problem. He diagnosed it for starter replacement. While replacing it, he discovered a failing DISA valve which I noticed before causing engine performance hesitation along with rattling sound. Lastly, he replaced a torn vacuum hose. Car starts great and with improved engine performance. I will go back for oil pan gasket replacement in the future. Overall, reasonable labor cost. Great work Mike!
Great place. Terrific service and I would recommend to anyone. I brought my car in here when I first got it and Mike helped me out with what needed to be done. After that when I came back and it turned out to be something silly he took care of it with no charge.
I had an extremely pleasant experience bringing my car to Mike. He is incredibly smart and honest about the work that he does, and explains everything that he does to your car in an easily-understood manner. I recommend reaching out to him for any German automobile-related maintenance or repair.
If you want a honest and dependable guy who will fix your car right Mike is your guy. Thank you mike for your honesty. Dave Dumas
Couldnt be happier with service, repairs and price. My 2002 BMW 525 continues to run like new! Mike goes above and beyond, highly recommend.
AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you need your BMW serviced, I highly recommend this establishment. Mike is the best, most honest mechanic I have ever had for my BMW.
I was referred to German Auto Repair for my mini cooper that needed work done that was too complicated for my regular service shop. He was very knowledgeable and broke down everything I needed done. Very trustworthy and did very good work for half the price the dealership quoted me at.
Brought our Mercedes in after it not having run in 6 months. Mike fixed the engine ailments to get it running and then when some electrical issues popped up soon after he went the extra mile (better make that the extra marathon) to get us sorted out. He takes pride in his craft and that’s so rare these days.
I wouldnt take my car to anyone else... I have been in 2 different situations with my Volks Wagon in the past 4 months and each time Mike was there for me right away... He explained in details so I could understand the problems and even showed me the parts that were bad.. helping me to understand each and every step to repair my car. If you have a German vehicle I can assure you that Mike is the mechanic to trust... He goes well and beyond to make sure that your car is fixed the proper way and guarantees all his work..... Thank you Mike for all your hard work you have done for me and many others!!
