Larcoms Garage is a hidden gem. The workers there are hard chargers and honest. All recommendations they give me for other vendors are equally trustworthy and its a shame that they dont work on certain models. I was devastated when I learned they dont work on BMWs, but they referred me to a shop who does and their prices are reasonable. One thing Larcoms is known for is there extensive network of equally honest shops to help fix cars. I would 100% recommend these guys for your automotive needs.

What a nice surprise. I found this business through a google search. So glad I did! Its a family owned business with people that treat you well. Sometimes I feel that a mechanic will try to sell me something that I dont need by taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars.....not a concern at this establishment. Nice.

Totally honest and upfront people. The company we saw before them, told us it would cost $500 to pull the engine out and look at it and then whatever cost after that. So we went to Larcoms Garage and they told us the honest truth. It couldnt be fixed and not to waste any money on it and that was all free of charge!! Awesome place, highly recommend!!!!

Been going to Larcoms Garage since I first owned a car. This place is special because its one of those business thats gold because of the owner passed down through the family from Ed to his sons. I only trust my cars to Ricky and his guys. An honest mechanic who wont overcharge you and tell you whats really wrong. Hell also tell you if he cant do it either right up front. This establishment gets a rare 5 stars from me. A SoG old school business thats been there since the 1950sUpdate- Ricky has since retired and his nephew is running the shop. So far hes done a good job. Still recommend

Wouldnt take my cars anywhere else for mechanical work. Got quoted almost $900 at a big brand store for a radiator replacement. Took my car to Larcoms and they replaced only the radiator, not all the additional stuff the other place said i needed to do the same job, for $400 out the door! Not many places like this left out there.

1. Google said you can buy tires at Larcoms. He currently does not sell tires, but recommended Sams- I was happy w/ the service there and the price.2. I had additional issues w/ the handling of my truck. He suggested purchasing the tires FIRST (Of course, he makes no money from this, see #1) then, if that didnt take care of the issue to bring it back.3. Quoted me an accurate price and did the work quickly.4. Personable guys recommended by others in the Port Tampa neighborhood.Overall, very happy with my experience at Larcoms.

I love this place. I received a quote of $850 from Lexus to change the belts on my SUV. I took my vehicle to Larcom and had them change the belts and my radiator. The price Larcom charged was still significantly lower. It is hard to find honest, reliable, and reasonable mechanics.

Til this very day, they are the only one that will work on my car. Very honest & friendly people that take pride in what they do at a affordable price! This is the only place that my family & I go to. Highly recommended!!P.S. They offer free air for the community lol :)

A short review cannot do justice to the hidden gem of Larcoms. Bring your car here, and it will get what it needs and ONLY what it needs. Theyre more likely to find a way to avoid the expensive repair you thought you needed, where so many other places will try to sell you unneeded work. Yes, youll pay a little more for an oil change than you will at one of the dedicated chains, but youll more than make up for it when something bigger needs doing. And what he cant do, he can usually refer to someone else trustworthy. Larcoms is like having your best friend work on your car - if that friend were also a second generation master mechanic. Friendly, too!
