Updating this review because I notice that I didnt include a narrative. To sum up Ive used these folks to maintain a high mileage Mercedes and they have exceeded my expectations every time. Of particular note was an alternator they installed that after bringing the car in for an unrelated item they noticed something was amiss with the alternator they installed months earlier. Basically they replaced that item again WITHOUT CHARGE when I didnt even know anything was wrong with it!My complete trust and highest rating goes to these folks.

Keith and the service team at this location are simply AWESOME! I’m from out of town helping family move and experienced a terrible leak in the sunroof and the local car dealerships were unavailable to assist for days. I called my hometown CBA and they suggested the local CBA (I didn’t realize they were a chain because my hometown team is so great!). Keith and the team here got me in and took care of the problem before it caused any major electrical damage. I am so very grateful for their help!! Their team is exceptional in every way - expertise, professional and caring! With family now in Tampa, they will be seeing this location for auto servicing and repair needs!

Ive used Christian Brothers for various repairs on my Lexus ES 350 over past years so Ive known Jason the franchise owner for same time period. Jason has always been friendly, cordial, knowledgeable and in general, the consummate professional. In past few months, Ive also come to know their customer-interfacing manager, Keith. Keith is my new go-to-guy as hes the one answering the phone. I needed a cv axle shaft replaced and Keith followed up to provide a prompt/accurate repair description and estimate. Keith had to order the OEM part however, because of his contact relationships, he had the part delivered next morning. The repair was completed by end of that same day. Heres the difference with this repair facility... Jason and Keith are honest, credible and can be relied on to conduct themselves with integrity. They are fair, responsible and accountable... they provide quality work and stand behind what they do. Not always easy to find these days. Because of my continued positive vehicle repair experience... without hesitation, Id recommend this Christian Brothers facility to anyone.

Usually don’t post unless I get an amazing experience, and this was definitely one! Shane! Shane! Shane! that’s the man! I initially went somewhere else to get a quote on my lower control arms and I received a quote of $1300 to fix JUST ONE side. I waited to follow through and my car got progressively worse of course so I decided to shop around and found CBA. By the time I brought my car and took a look at it not only did they send pictures/videos of every problem they gave detailed explanations and listed them from urgent to near future. I said all that to say by the time I left CBA Shane got me out the door right at $2000 for not one but both control arms, replaced my wheel mount hub, got me 2 new front tires, headlight restoration and a changed air filter! Like they say men lie, women lie numbers don’t lie!!! My car took a couple days longer than expected but Shane helped me out once again by cutting the expenses to make up for the rental extension! Not only did I find someone to get my baby back on the road, I found a place to get my cars serviced for life. Thank you Shane! You the man! Thank you CBA!

This shop is the best I have ever went too! I was having an issue with a wheel lock and let me tell you NOBODY would help me with this issue! These people ended up fixing my issue and being a great help! Big shout out to Bill, Keith, Shane, and Jason! Great people and a huge help !!

We recently had an issue with an older Nissian Pathfinder starting. The issues was the rear engine oil seal leaking on to the starter. I had that replaced a few years back and Christian Brothers honored the warranty and replaced the oil seal and starter at no cost. This is the reason I keep going back to them . They are honest and fair with the customer. I would recommend them to any friend or family member.

Was in a bind for time when Check Engine Light came on. I had just had a new transmission installed by another firm when the light came on. It turned out that the oxygen sensor wires had been switched when the transmission was installed, causing the engine to run very badly. The CBA technician found the problem and took corrective measures. Truly a great experience and very professional.

These guys are real! No hard sales, no unnecessary push for any additional services. Had a flat tire, they informed me that my other front tire was ran down and asked if I wanted that one changed too rather then tell me it has to be.My car is running better than ever! No more shaking at high speeds and the steering wheel steady. This was my first experience taking a car to a shop and not having to pay anything additional. I went to Christian Brothers today after work because all 4 of my tires were extremely low on air. I walked in & I was greeted by a very nice gentleman, he even offered me a bottle of cold water while I waited. I have never been to an automotive shop & was offered anything. It look less than 10 minutes. I was so impressed. I asked how much & the gentleman (wish I had asked his name) told me no charge. I couldnt believe it. I have been to this shop before for my headlight & again they were so nice. I will go back again if need be. I just wish they had a shop in the Largo area.

My husband and I have been using Christian Brothers for more than 10 years. Shane and Jason has always made sure our vehicles were taken care of. My husbands truck broke down in St. Louis, Mo so we paid a transport company to ship it back to Florida because we didnt want any other place to work on it.

This was my second time going to Christian Brothers and they exceed my expectations. First they told me that do to the number of appointments that they couldn’t get to me in until Wednesday. I stated that I would drop off my vehicle on Tuesday around noon, to my surprise I received a call at 5pm on Tuesday stating that my car was ready to pick up. There service is great and they are reasonably priced. Thank you for the excellent service you provided me. I will be back if additional service is required.

A after Sears Auto Care was down I went looking for a new place I saw the shop right on racetrack very close to my house inconvenient another thing I liked about it it was always busy the matter when you would buy this place it was full of cars so I thought I’d give it a try I was right off the cuff asked for oil change they were busy they didn’t have a lot of time but one of the mechanic said he would go ahead and do a quick oil change with the car once over they knows my tires were cracked worn them very old I ordered tires from them 600 bucks for all four tires Plus alignment they always extend their warm courtesy towards me I think me for my service wearing certain the waiting area is comfortable relaxing and they always are friendly they don’t mind taking me out to the service area so I could see the old tires compared to the new tires in short this will be my new auto shop from now on or my car will get serviced and cared for

5 Star place and Justin Vinson is awesome! They communicate very well every time I work with them I know exactly what is happening with my car, and Justin is very honest and doesnt try to sell you things that you dont need. My dealership told me my car needed close to a thousand dollars to fix my car, these guys did everything for about 2/3 less! It is hard to find a trustworthy place to work on your car but these guys make it easy and convenient.

I have a 2003 BMW X5, it has 166K miles and I brought it to other automotive shops, which either price gouged me, or didnt make the repair. I found Christian Brothers Automotive, and scheduled my appointment on line. Checked-in without issue and went to work. They called and texted me the progress and the issues with the vehicle. The gave me a very, very reasonable rate, and all repairs were completed on time the same day. This was the best experience I have ever had, and I usually dread taking my car to the shop. I have now found a place to do my routine maintenance and do repairs. Im so happy!

This place definitely offers a better experience than other auto shops. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into making sure their customers understand any issues and what options are available. They even shared pictures of the problem areas. If you are looking for a quality, honest auto mechanic, gives these guys a try. My recent experience proved they actually care to do the right thing for the customer. We had to be towed in after engine trouble. The following morning, technician Justin called to inform us that unfortunately we would need a new engine. Anticipating him to give us the estimated cost, he said he went ahead and called Hyundai and ran my VIN number and found out that we were under an extended warranty and there would be no charge for a new engine. I just needed to get the car over to Hyundai. I was blown away. That would have been a huge bill, but instead of them taking a profit, they did what was right for the customer. We have now found our permanent auto mechanic shop!

If I could leave less than one star I most certainly would!Beware of Christian Brothers, Westchase! The labor and diagnostic fees this place charges is absolute highway robbery! I had my vehicle towed and the first thing I had to pay was $55 to determine why the car wasnt starting...it turned out to be a dead battery! $55 dollars for expert mechanics to tell me my battery is dead. Then I had to pay $145 for a battery. Total cost to get car started..$200! Once the car was started and the engine light displayed, this place charged another $95 diagnostic to determine the code. This literally takes 5 minutes to hook up the computer to see what code the car was generating. According to tech, the O2 sensor was bad, but lucky for me they were having a special for me to get it fixed...$590! (I did get the sensor fixed at A&F in Clearwater auto for $285!) They were going to charge me $110 to put a truck latch on (I provided the latch and it literally takes no more than 15 minutes for people that dont know what they are doing) When I asked why so much for such a quick install, the service manager said Thats our rate, whether it takes 10 minutes or 3 hours! He knew it was only going to take 10 min! I decided to cut my losses, paid over $260 (with the Costco discount that I had to make sure was being applied correctly to my bill) and took it over to the A&F auto where my repairs were made quickly and for less than 1/2 of what Christian Brothers was going to charge.At the time of payment, their credit card machine was down, so after waiting approximately 10 minutes to get system back up, I requested to leave since I had a early morning meeting and was told that I couldnt leave with the car until the machine came back up (no ETA)! They treated me like I was a 2 bit crook that was trying to run from my bill. I finally told them that I was leaving and then they agreed to take my info and call me when the machine was up and running again.Christian Brothers recommends all types of services without even checking to see if they are necessary. The cost of the services was almost more than the value of the car (2006 Acura with 175K miles). When got a second opinion, most of the recommended services including a timing belt and water pump change for $1300 wasnt needed since the this had been done to the vehicle at 110K miles.Make sure you get a second opinion before spending your money with CB. They are all about the money and I found them to be very dishonest.By the way, thanks to A&F auto the car is driving great...the O2 sensor, leaky gasket, front brakes and truck latch all completed for less than 1/2 of what CB wanted to charge...and they even did the trunk latch for free!Shop around...know what you are paying for and dont believe that just because a shop has Christian in the name, that it follows those principles.

Customer service was great. The guy that attended to me was welcoming and patient. The waiting area sets the bar for other auto shops to aspire towards. My car problems were fixed to a satisfactory degree. All in all I feel confident in the ability of their mechanics.Reasons for 4 not 5 stars:The wait was formidable! I did not have an appointment, but I think five hours was too long a wait. But to be fair, I showed up on Monday morning. I would have appreciated a better time estimate, I was told it would take a couple of hours.Secondly, I wont go into details but they tried to sell me more services than was necessary.Button line, this place is more expensive than others like good year. However, they have great service, an amazing guest lounge, and dunkin donuts, aka, my favorite place on the planet, is just next door. Im not sure Ill be a regular here, still want to check out the Good Year on Tampa road, but was worth going to at least once.

Our rear brake light went out while my husband was out of town. Christian Auto was so good to me and got me in as soon as possible to change it. I have been going to Christian Brothers in Westchase for almost a year now (or at least that’s what it feels like). To say that Jason, Carla, and this staff are great would be an understatement. This last week my car could not start, so I towed it over and they discovered more problems with it. Not only did they took care of the jobs effectively, but I am so impressed that they worked with my budget to take care of the job for under $1000. I’ll never go anywhere else.

Just an exceptional experience all around: reasonable pricing, quickest service ever (same day), fantastic customer service, and the follow-up was incredible. They actually called me days later to confirm the repairs were holding up and everything was to my satisfaction...I mean seriously, who does that these days?! These guys went out of there way to help me!!!!! I stopped in just because I was driving by and my A/C had stopped working that morning. They told what the problem was and how much it would be to fix it. I have a new car so they thought this should be under warranty. After calling the dealer. They told me that it was not under warranty and would be even more than what Christian Brothers had quoted me. Cody does an amazing job at balancing phone calls, keeping customers updated on what is going on with their vehicles as well as checking out customers. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with my experience without ever setting foot in the shop prior to the work being done. Telephone communication with Justin and Cody was excellent as they kept me well informed with what was going on with my starter and associated electrical issues. I had to have my vehicle towed in as I was at work and could not drive it in due to not starting. During the work, we had a death in the family and could not pick up the vehicle until the next day. They offered to secure the vehicle inside overnight with no hesitation. Excellent customer service at a great price for the work done. Highly recommend after finally meeting them and impressed with a very clean shop.

This morning I took my car in for all wheel full brake replacement. I came in first thing in the morning without an appointment. Even though you could tell by all the business trucks waiting in the parking lot that this was repair day for their fleet customer, they were not hesitant to give me service and return my car at the end of the day. I appreciated their work ethic and time management.

I went to Christian Brothers for the first time this past week and was beyond pleased with the entire experience. From the minute we set our appointment online to the minute I walked out the door, it was easy. The staff and owner were so wonderful and went above and beyond to look up my warranty information so that I could get something fixed under warranty rather than having to pay for it and printed out the exact issue for me to provide back to the dealership. We will be bringing both of our cars here from now on for sure!

Prior to today, Ive only taken my car to the dealership for repairs and work. Due to an unexpected break-down, I had my car towed to Christian Brothers. They did the work quickly and at a very fair price. I was impressed with the customer service. I will only go to Christian Brothers Westchase from now on! Im a customer for life!

Christian Brothers came to my rescue! My alternator died at the Village Inn and they were able to help me get my car back to the shop and work on it immediately. I brought my car in around 2pm and they had completed the work by 5pm. They were very kind and got me back up and running within a couple of hours. Although I probably could have gotten the part and labor done for slightly cheaper, the speed and convenience for me was worth paying a little extra money.

I can’t say enough good things about CBA Westchase. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. My husband and I have been taking our cars there since they first opened and we have always had a pleasant and fair experience.

I went in for an A/C diagnostic due to the air blowing cold intermittently. They were upfront about the $55 fee to run the test. They ended up finding that the A/C would run on low and taking in outside air. They also said that it still qualified for Nissan warranty work due to the mileage and verified it with the automaker. They did not charge me the fee and encouraged me to pursue the repair work with Nissan because it would be 100% covered. Thank you to them for their honesty and helpfulness. I will be coming back.

Im new to the area and stumbled upon CB Automotive for a tire repair, battery replacement, and then heavier work on my brakes/rotors/etc.. First off, the grounds and building are very well kept. Secondly, I am HUGE fan of their customer service. Everyone Ive interacted with from front to back end service is really genuinely kind. They offer their customers water bottles and treat you as their neighbor. Thirdly, they utilize technology to communicate status updates, images of the inspection/recommendations they have. Lastly, so far so good on the work theyve done on my car, and the follow up is fantastic! Be sure to check this place out if you need maintenance or repairs done on your car.

I came here for the 1st time due to my car just shutting off. They were able to find the problem and within 24 hrs had my car back. They are friendly and kind. We are from out of town and our air-conditioning gave out on the last leg of our trip down to Florida. I went here because they were recommended from my parents. They quoted me $2400 worth of work and it seemed like I should get a second opinion. I called Firestone and read them the list of recommended items, and they quoted me $1200 for the same work. It turns out that Christian Brothers were including the replacement of a part that was not bad but included a lot of labor cost. Im so glad I got a second opinion because I saved $1200. The most frustrating part is that even after I decided to go elsewhere they still charged $160 diagnostic fee.Edit**** - Jason, the owner, called me after I wrote my review and explained the miscommunication from his staff. Later in the week, he graciously refunded the diagnostic fee and made things right after this situation. I added stars based on the full experience with the business and not on work performed since I ultimately took my car elsewhere to where they gave me a reasonable quote.

We paid for a diagnostic, and then paid over $500 on top of that to fix the car. We get the car back, and it still has the SAME exact issue. Its turning off randomly while driving. We brought the car back, and told them it is not fixed at all. Now they want $275 to look at the car. That is absolutely deplorable business. I would love to hear from the owner at this point.***update*** the owner of this establishment did see my review, and made sure that they checked out the car for free and it is running good now. Not sure what the communication issue was initially, but he did take care of it and the car is running good so for that I am thankful.

I regularly have my vehicle serviced at Christian Brothers. They are always friendly and upfront. Their prices are reasonable and they always fit me in for an appointment fast. Couldnt ask for a more professional shop.

To date the only repair shop that has been upfront about everything. Will visit again

I brought my car there to have the battery checked cause I had to jump start it earlier today and when I got there they brought it in right away I was in and out in less then 45 minutes

We have four cars, and trust only Christian Brothers Westchase to take care of them for us. Being older cars, they need more care and upkeep, Christian Brothers is the place to take our cars. They are honest and up front with us at all times. They also follow through on any service that was done to make sure that we were given the best possible service. If you live in the Westchase area, this is the place to go.

Hello,The staff at this location are excellent. They are courteous, knowledgeable and represent everything you would want in an auto shop. They handled my car with care, finished on time and even offered to provide a ride home until the job was complete. I highly reccomend this location. The owner even greets you personally and offers t help in anyway he can, creating an all around terrific experience.
