I am enjoying working here, and meeting all the new and current residents. This is a beautiful Property. And the new maintenance team is knocking it out the park with the up keep off our grounds and work orders. I am truly excited to see where we are going as a community.

I moved in about 3 weeks ago and I leased sight unseen since I moved from up North. Jawana assisted me with my move-in and she was super patient and kind. This really made me feel more comfortable with my choice to move to this place. She made it clear that the property had new service guys and they were doing a community clean-up to improve the look of the community. On move-in day I was able to meet the manager Aja she is super nice and gave me her card and let me know if I needed anything to let her know. Anytime I am outside these ladies always say hello, remember my name and ask how I am doing. Just seeing their interaction with other residents is very nice, you have a real sense of community here. The apartment I moved into was updated and beautiful. I did leave off one star as the exterior of some of the buildings look grungy but they already sent out notices for the buildings that pressure washing and cleaning start next week. So far I am enjoying my place here. I will give it some more time and post an additional update later.

I have lived here for the past few years and I would have to say that the atmosphere has improved immensely. It feels a lot safer in regards to the other residents or their visitors - havent seen or heard of domestic violence occuring since the name change. With the property value inclining, the monthly rate is affordable and the interior is inviting and worth it. The maintenance staff responds proficiently and in a timely manner, in addition, the staff in the office are very down to earth and people oriented. Of course the campus appears cluttered with trash outside of the dumpsters and dirty walk ways, but thats more of a residential issue than an office issue in particular.

The leasing staff Ms. Aja and Ms.Jowana have been very efficient with addressing all of my concerns and taking care of keeping me informed with any changes. I am delighted to say our apartment community has been a welcoming site when I get off work. These Young women are always looking forward to keeping Azure east apartment residents satisfied with their community. Im looking forward to seeing whats new. Nice place and spacious. They did a great job on renovations and I love my patio. Office staff is very nice.

When I moved back to Tampa I was looking for a place and came across Azure East and sadly they had no apartments available. So Juwanna (leasing agent) asked me to leave my information and shell call me when something came up. When someone passed on an apartment she made sure she called me. Being new to the area I didnt quite know how to obtain the paperwork I needed and she was so nice to help me get it.She even helped my nephew with getting his Social Security card. She is an awesome god fearing woman who in my opinion needs a RAISE! Shes awesome..No complaints here! Awesome job Juwanna ! Good call hiring her!

This is my second lease w this property and to be very blunt is and was my saving grace. Almost two years ago I and my girls came out of a domestic violence shelter and had very little time to find a place to call our own. My daughters school social worker found this apartment for us but with having an eviction it made it almost impossible to find someone willing to rent to me. Azure east took that chance and two years later we’re still here. Maintenance team stays on work orders and ensures the job is complete (trust I’ve made my share of work orders but they always were completed. Office staff is absolutely amazing Aja and Juwanna are an awesome pair toManage the property it’s definitely worth coming home every day. Keep up the good work ladies!!!

Aja the Community Manager and now Jawana the new Assistant Manager is amazing, they have made a turn in the community and the new maintenance team that is now on Deck, has really started to make me feel at home. My work orders are now getting done. I am starting to enjoy my home.

About 5 to 6 months ago things was looking really bad but now I feel like I’m being listened to when I have a problem and the problem is getting solved in a timely fashion. Still got more work to do though, Baby steps!! 👍

Maintenance use to be awful but they finally have a great team in place. Raul is amazing and AJ is always out keeping the place clean. Ms. Aja and Ms. Jawana are super nice and you can tell they care about the residents and community. It’s nice to see things improving!

Office staff especially Mrs.Juwanna was awesome! Make sure everything was good and smooth for the move in.

I have lived at Azure East apartments since 2017. Have never had an issue. Very courteous staff! Works with you if you are having an issue and maintenance is pretty good too.

My experience was great from the first phone call! I was new the area and the staff was extremely helpful in pointing me in the right direction. My application process was smooth. I could not ask for a more convenient location. My apartment is upgraded with a new stove, microwave, fridge and floors. I did not have a deposit to move here and the monthly price fits my budget especially for the area. Best thing yet is this office answers when you call and maintenance fixes your problems Monday to Sunday! Thank you Azure East!

This place is horrible. They do not fix anything just make it seem as though it is fixed. Also documentation has been lost. I was told because the woman who took the documents isnt employed with the company anymore. OS this what happened to everyone rent payments? I would not recommend living here just because they are over priced and reach infested as well as maintenance not fixing things. I have black mold in my childrens closet. Maintenance came and spray painted it white.... smh

This is the worst apartment you could lease in the University Area! There has been so mamy problems since ive moved in, from being roach infested, pipes bursting, even feces in the hallways due to bad plumage, trash all around the complex and parking lot, the list goes on. No one cares about the safety of the residents they half fix the problems. The property management and employees including Aja will sit in the office and completely ignore the phone call and when you knock on the door they just act as though they hear nothing even though they are visibly sitting in the office. Please avoid Azure East at all cost!!!

Just trust me when I say; stay away from here. We secured this apartment through online as we were moving out of state. Well, needless to say we would have been better off driving 12 hours to view the apartment. Most people are friendly in the neighborhood. The maintenance man is a nice guy. He tries to keep the grounds clean. I know this isnt in the best part of town but regardless there has been loud music playing on multiple occasions, recently as late as 11 at night. Kids are constantly running through the halls and screaming, nobody picks up after their dog around here. Most people dont even aim for the dumpster. Theres broken glass & food laying around frequently. Like I said the maintenance man does his best but you can only do so much. Not to mention the cut rate construction they are doing. Our bath tub was clearly spray painted before we moved in. There are more issues, just do yourself a favor and dont bother here.

I have lived here at Laurel Chase Apt.fore 8 years. Since Ms. Irma Cruz has been managing the apartments its been wonderful living here. She does all she can to keep everyone living here happy. You cant please everyone but she does a good job trying. Ms. Irma is a wonderful manager and she is the reason I am a long term renter.

Thanks to Josue is a great technician and it was the only one who after 5 days without A/C found and he fix the problem. The apartments are ok but lack of maintenance services

I am very pleased with and content living here at Laurel Chase Apartments. I very much enjoy living in this community...neighbors are friendly, its quite and peaceful, our manager Irma Cruz provides security for the complex making the tenants feel safe, the complex is close to business departments stores, restaurants, health clinic, schools, and both major highways to get to work. Thank you Irma Cruz for your professionalism and going out your way to please your tenants.

By far the worse complex I have ever lived in. Starting from the leasing office staff all the way down to the properties current condition. The main issues I have had living here in just 10 months starts with the AC. 1 week after I moved in my unit went out. It took them 2 weeks to fix it. Every time I call the leasing office the girl tells me that AC in not considered an emergency in the state of Florida. They finally fixed it after 2 weeks and it literally went out 2 days before the rent was due in February. Meanwhile another issue was starting. My neighbors had a serious roach and bed bug problem. Which then traveled to my unit and the other 2 tenants on out floor. It got so bad that my neighbor left and had multiple notes on the door and the other neighbor had to tell them that because they didnt fix her AC she moved out. Again, they wouldnt send out pest control or the contractor to fix the AC. My AC has gone out every month and they still have yet to fix it. Its out now and its 85 degrees in my house.My children have respiratory issues and its gotten so bad I called code enforcement on the complex. I have to spend additional money for hotel rooms on nights the heat was so bad here. They dont care, they wont take responsibility for this unit installed back in 2007 that has so many leaks its left puddles of water on the floor of my closet and in front of my linen closet. They are scheduled to come out this week and check out everything. This complex doesnt care about the condition of the property or the units. But oh so quick to put a note on the door on the 4th or 5th of the month for rent money. This place needs to change who they have working here. Maintenance is lazy and the office staff are even worse. They have been reported to corporate and code enforcement. Its a shame that tenants should have to live like this or treated like we are beneath them. Moving out soon. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Lived here for a year while purchasing my home. Honestly I was never bothered by anyone, staff was around but not in the way, maintenance was out cleaning by 8am. The staff in the office was able to get me my apartment within days of needing a new place to live, and the transaction moving out was smoother than it has wver been before! Pleased and definitely recommend it.

Dont know why their location is showing across town on Craigs List, but it sent me on a wild goose chase. Woman calls me over a week later from my original request, while Im frantically trying to get to an interview,.. to answer my question and wish me a blessed day ( I hate religious freakos in this area)

Our experience with Laurel Chase Apartment has been great thus far. Thank you to Miss Irma Cruz, manager of Laurel Chase Apartments and her friendly introduction of the services de offer at the complex.We where trying to rent a place in Florida all the the way from California, and she was able to accommodate and assistant us with all the help we needed . Through email and regular mail my wife and I were able to secure the apartment. again thank you to miss Cruz and Laurel Chase Apartments. See you soon in Tampa!!

In the beginning it was very nice. Then the Bldg I was living in #2 got infested with bed bugs. In the beginning it was the apartments surrounding mine and the property staff was coming to my apartment from time to time to check if they made their way into my apartment. I did go ask the office what they were going to do about the bed bug problem as I was getting more concerned. Irma told me that it was the people who rented the units responsibility to take care of the issue, then the people who were renting the infested units started moving out, then a few weeks later bed bugs made their way into my apartment. I had to move with only my clothes and trash or abandon the rest of my belongings. Now to the date I still have not received a letter from Laurel chase where me security deposit went. By law they have 30 days to send a certified letter to my forward address.. although they going to send me to collections. Stay away from this property.. to many problems

Its a nice place dont get me wrong but i wouldnt recommend to any one i bein here for two years they take for ever in fixing things that need to be fixed and wanna charge 100$ for late fee when its there fault we couldnt givem our check they where closed on sat and the roach infestation omg its so horrible when irma was here we never had this many issues now with the new management we have had so many issues they took 2 months too fix a hole in my closet that was leaking and after fixing it twice it keeps coming back i have children here n my youngest got sick with pneumonia after he got out the hospital for meningitis im sick of these ppl not careing for the health and saftey of there clients

This is an awful neighborhood. This place is dangerous and dirty. The relator Irma Cruz lies and I am seriously questioning the realness of the reviews that I read!! When me and my kids moved in she promised me a new place but I was given a horrible unit instead that wasnt even cleaned. And then I got bedbugs. I found out that all of my neighbors had them, and that I was responsible for paying for everything (????). I complained about my appliances not working and nobody ever came so the I had to buy new ones myself. I felt like I was sold a lemon and when I complained and asked for her help she said that id have to pay for everything and she was always rude. She was always rude to me and condescending and she never did ANYTHING. The conditions she had iss shocking. There is always the smell of pee in the halls also. I dont even let my kids play outside! One thing I will say is that the units are cheap but you know, sometimes you get what you pay for. Theres new realator now though. I HAD TO leave a review after I just read her other reviews... I am shocked!!! I have talked to my neighbors and everyone has these problems with her. she moved us in and then she penny pinches. Irma made my life a living heck and was VERY dishonest! Thank GOD there is a new company!!!

When I start living the walls of my Apartment was not paint and bad condition ! But is well for the price !Only is dangerous zone in the Night !If the New Administration up Price!!I will Go to another Apartments ...Because is not the best quality to pay more in thats apartments....
