I was skeptical at first due to some negative reviews on here. However, this place is perfect for my boyfriend and I, as well as our two large dogs. I am pleased with the dog park; my dogs love walking over there to play and run around. The outdoor exercise equipment is a nice touch, and the pool is clean with a nice patio and grills to hangout. The apartment itself (1B/1BA) is the perfect size for us, and is aesthetic for its price. I really wanted vinyl plank flooring for my unit, however they are only available on the first floor units and there were none available when I needed to move in; I had to settle on a third floor apartment with carpeting. In the end, I am actually very happy to have carpeting! Its very clean carpeting and its better for my dogs so they arent slipping and sliding on the vinyl. I also enjoy having a storage unit outside that locks. The only negative thing I have encountered so far is the kitchen sink leaks a little bit (the left side sink). The leaking is only a little tiny bit of water, but just wanted to mention it. Otherwise, I am very happy with Allister Place and would recommend this complex to others. And for the reference, I have been working with a leasing agent named Amanda - She is very friendly, empathetic and even wanted to meet my dogs when I moved in! :)

If I could give negative stars I would. I urgently needed to find a place and the process here took over a month. They never return calls or emails, the entire office is incredibly rude. Alicia especially. The property manager is almost never around. The entire staff is horrible. I am so thankful I found a different place to lease, it was the easiest. most stress free process unlike this place. Management here gave me nothing but a headache. They just want your money, they dont actually care about helping the residents. They sure got $150 out of me for nothing. I dont know how any of them have jobs here considering all the horrible reviews on management yet nothing has changed. I wish I could find someone to refund me my money.

My experience started out great with this place. I needed to move into a unit ASAP, and several members of the staff assured me that there was a unit available Aug. 15th, which was perfect. I tried to apply online and the application portal wasn’t working, so I called them again for help, and a gentleman answered the phone and was very rude and impatient with me. He informed me that there were no units available and that there was a very long wait list and that the staff members I spoke with before “don’t know what’s available” because they were using a system that wasn’t updated. The staff was not on the same page at all and this lead to a lot of stress and frustration for me, so if you’re looking to apply, make sure you triple check before you’re mislead and out $75 for nothing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The management team is TERRIBLE. Alicia has been working on my file for over a month now and it is hard to get in contact with her. Amanda always answers the phone instead and always says “would you like for her to give you a call back” knowing they NEVER call back. The amount of times I’ve heard that in the past month and a half yet I have not received a single call from them. I’m literally trying to find a place to live and they are wasting my time. One of the people in the office tell you one thing, and a different person tells you something else. They are very unorganized, I have sent in multiple documents and the following week they tell me that they need the documents that I sent a week ago. Alicia told me she was going to call me this Monday to update me on what is going on, it is now Thursday @7pm and I have not received a single call. I’m tired of chasing them and them making this process overly complicated. I have found a bigger and better place where I applied last Friday and the following Monday, they let me know I am good to come in later this week with my money order for the deposit. No games, just great communication and customer service. There are so many negative reviews and NOTHING is being done? Have y’all noticed that all these negative reviews started about 6 months ago? And don’t give me that response that you’ve given everyone else apologizing. Actually DO something.

Im not going to lie I dont have great credit. I asked them before I applied if that would be an issue and I was told that poor credit would only raise the deposit. After sending in an application they requested my bank statements and my pay stubs. I sent this to them and when I called to confirm that they received it I was told that my application was denied. They said my application was denied for poor credit. A few hours later I received a call saying that a mistake had been made. They had not reviewed my financial information yet and that they would continue forward with my application. It has taken forever for them to review my application since then. It has been confusing but the people in the office are very helpful and they always answer their phones

This location would literally have little to no problems if they answered their phone. 75% of the issues with this location is lack of communication. You send an email or call it goes to an offsite location that can only take messages. They don’t know key details and they can’t tell you much about your unit. You do a maintenance request good luck, have over piling garbage just take it out. Want to know new services they have for payments or how much your rent will be since the charge fluctuates, tough. Getting a call back or having someone answer the phone is not happening. They indeed need help in that department, possibly consider hiring a group of on-site call center agents because for this I would likely consider not re-signing my lease. If communication was better I’d have no other issues, but that is such a big problem.

I live at one of their other complexes. I live in Palm avenue apartments and they have changed management two or three times since Ive been here. I have a continual problem with water leaking through my front door and I put in a work order almost 3 weeks ago to have it fixed. This past Friday two maintenance men showed up and told me that they would be replacing my door at 9:30 this morning which is Monday morning. I went to the office at about 11:00 and asked where they were and the maintenance guys showed up and said they would be here after lunch. Its almost 3:00 p.m. now and nobody has showed up nobody has called me and when I went to the office at about 2:00 I was told they would be there shortly. I dont know if its an office problem or if its a maintenance problem but I sure wont resign a lease here.

Application process was terrible, it took over a month and a half and I STILL don’t have an answer. Waste of $225. I’m not too upset about the money but I wasted a lot of my time and energy here. This place is absolute trash. Please save your time and do not apply. They have no work ethic. The lack of communication and lack of professionalism is appalling. I truly wish I never came across this place to begin with and I wish I would have listened to all of the negative reviews which are VERY accurate.

Listen to the reviews and save yourself the time and the headache. When I originally went to the office they told me what the price of the apartment was and how much you need to make to qualify. I immediately Applied and have been in this process for over a month. Now that they’ve significantly jacked up the prices, and change their terms without notifying anyone, it’s basically A sorry figure it out situation. They are literally only interested in taking your money for the applications and not getting back to you in a timely manner. It’s absolutely ridiculous. And to be honest for the location and the price, they do not equate at all. There are plenty of other places to go. Let this be a warning to you to avoid this place at all costs because of the lack of communication, the headache, and the considerable inconsiderate nature of the faculty and staff.

My fiance and I went to tour this apartment complex recently. The staff was unprofessional and only verbally told us the number and general direction the unit would be in. They were uninterested in clearly answering inquiries about the apartment after we finally found the unit, viewed it, and walked back on our own. As an employee of a small business, the leasing office denied the application only on the grounds of incorrect format for the documentation, despite them confirming that that format would be acceptable beforehand and us clearly meeting all income, credit, and other qualifications on paper. The staff was rude, was unclear about how to resubmit the required documentation in their format, and refused to return the application fee. After reading the rest of the reviews regarding crime, homelessness, lack of cleanliness, and the temperament of the leasing/maintenance staff in this apartment complex, I am glad that we are steering clear of this location.

I do not recommend this place for anyone, i wish i would have listened to the reviews that I read before hand, before applying to this place. The entire application process was a hassle, it is true how others have said that it wouldnt accept my husbands documents. So i got fed up resending them over and over again that I brought physical copies, which they did accept and then informed me the process of verification would take longer, and I said that was fine. After wards they would send emails asking again for the documents that I had already send them. It demonstrated to me that they had no care in making sure my application was organized and put all together to make the process smooth. afterwards they do approve us and then send us a welcome letter of a specific amount which we went and got money orders done for that amount, then they tell me they got the prices wrong and that it is actually more. So there was also a lack of being able to do their job calmly and correctly to make sure there would be no errors like that. So me and my husband decided to just decline the offer, I call this morning to just let them know I am declining and the associate there named Amanda tells me we have plenty of other people who would want to move in. Again that was an extreme level of unprofessionalism, that was information that I did not need to know or be told. So I say, dont waste your time and money here.

Terrible customer service when It comes to the screening process. I meet all criteria, in fact, exceed all criteria. Yet I never even had the opportunity to get screened as when I uploaded my employment verification, it was shot back due to the files format. One of my jobs is a non-profit charity and they do not have a patient portal to download paystubs directly from the source from. A human to review my employment status was out of the question even after bringing this to their attention. Save your time. You cant even view the specific one you want to move into. Game of roulette as to what kind of issues your apartment will have in comparison to their model.

Under no circumstances should you move to this complex. The front desk is VERY unprofessional, especially smart and rude mouth Martha, if thats even her real name. You leave messages for the manager Vicki, but of course you get no call back or response or they just totally ignore you or give you the rum around. That includes the assistant manager as well. They change people in the office every other month, the office is closed when they are suppose to be open. Random people answer the phones sometimes when you call saying they are offsite and no one is in the office which means you cant go to pay your rent but they turn around and charge you late fees. It takes weeks, sometimes months to get a service request fulfilled if even then.My kitchen sink leaked the entire time I was there so Iam quite sure I was overcharged for water usage. They tow cars illegally over here. Bats everywhere until sometimes I couldnt even get to the door of my apartment or they are all on the walls of my porch. I can go on and on. Dont think you will get your full deposit back because they want to take charges out for the previous month you leave. This whole ENTIRE company management needs an overhaul. GLAD TO BE GONE FROM THIS NIGHTMARE OF A PLACE! AGAIN, DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID.

Run! Run! Pay attention to the reviews. It is in the ghetto! Homeless people sleeping outside the complex in the grass, and men sleeping in their cars in the parking lot...all at 6 am. This place was once nice, and Im pretty sure a new property manager could make a big difference along with security gates. Miss Kylie has run this place into the ground while busy drinking, collecting her paycheck and gossiping about the other tenants. Too bad they do not worry about an actual security company, as much as they do getting a kick back from towing cars. Our security is the Tampa PD. (Do the research on how often they dispatch to this complex) Cars are regularly broken into. Weekends consist of NO quiet. Drunken idiots fighting, and being stupid regularly between 3 am and 6 am sometime resulting in arrests. Pretty much anything goes. Parties at the pool with a DJ till late hours and in the common areas with a large amount of non residents. (If you absolutely must live here, get a unit far from the pool) Juveniles smoking pot in the stairs. Do not bother bringing it to the attention of the office, they are closed all weekend and if you do waste your time telling them, its the same motion of acting as if they really even care. The walls and floors are paper thin. You will hear every move and yell your neighbor makes. I got lucky enough to feel every step my neighbor takes. My assumptions would be that I live next to a linebacker. The bottles and couch literally vibrates, and they have no clue how to close a kitchen cabinet like a normal person. Dont rely on the pictures that are on the website. Here you go!! They only clean up when the bank is coming. Kinda like last weekend when they gave us a whole 3 days notice that they would be pressure cleaning all weekend (so much for R and R) and notice of a mandatory inspection of every unit the following week. Counting the days until my lease is up.

I wish I could do half a star. I have lived here for almost three years and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. First off I nearly fell through the steps because one of them completely broke in half. And another step is about to do the same I tried to call their emergency maintenance number no answer I also called the office still no answer. I live on the second floor and they expected people to basically hop over the broken step which is impossible to do with a baby. They think by painting a building and giving it a new name will change the fact that these apartments were already falling apart. You can still see all the wear and tear these buildings have had by all the cracks. They have no respect for privacy when they come to do maintenance and other things they only knock on your door once and just open it after that. Countless times I have asked for them not to do that since I work @ home but they could careless. They say they are do “inspections”, but have yet to come fix this horrible paint job in the bathroom. A 5 year could have did a better paint job then what was done in my bathroom.I can’t open one of my front windows to let in a nice breeze because it’s sealed closed like I’m living in a prison or something. The walls and floors are paper thin so if you like hearing heavy walking this is the place for you. When the people come to do maintenance to the property they just blow the dirt and leaves all over your car. My car has so many scratches on it because of that.Speaking of cars their “parking rules” are not enforced in the front of the complex. During the weekends it’s impossible to park near your building if you live in the front. There are so many visitors parked in residents parking spots it’s insane.Don’t fall for the countertops and “hardwood floors” they are just stickers.

I have been a resident here since september. my apartment was recently flooded and i was never notified about the situation and once i contacted the office in person, i did not receive any empathy or basic human decency about my ruined items or the fact that i had to be displaced. my mother, who was visiting at the time, received the same treatment when she tried to explain that her items were ruined as well. my mother had left a review about the situation on that day. 6 days later, i am still the one reaching out, making phone calls to follow up about when i can move back in and nobody seems to have an answer. it is always “when i find out, i’ll get back to you.” or “i’m not sure, i’ll have someone call you back”. i’ve worked in customer service for 5 years prior to my current profession; all you have to do is make time in your day to make a phone call to a company YOU hired, to evaluate a time frame for a resident who lives in an apartment complex YOU work at, so they can return back home. it is not hard and i feel like they honestly couldn’t care less. i have been displaced for a week now and still no definitive update. today however, there was a response on my moms post saying “oh we apologize for the situation, have her call and ask for management so we can make the rest of her stay great”. i called TWICE today, and nothing! even the adjuster for my renters insurance claim could not get in touch with anyone and she called THREE times to ask about the situation. i do recommend this place to anyone. please reconsider moving here because if you run into any issues, there will be no resolution. my lease is up in september and i am counting down the days until i get outta there!

I have been a resident here for 2 years now and I can say most of these reviews are completely false most likely made by some angry people. I will say during the take over a year ago it was a little rough as we were use to the old management and their way. However after a year and seeing how the new office staff run the property and all the little things they do, they are amazing. They cleaned out the rift raft that was here, added security, cleaned up the property, and they are upgrading all the amenities. They have resident events every month which is nice as we have never had them and they run cute competitions to help residents get to know each other Its a community now, not just an apartment complex. The property manager, I think his name is Rob, is always kind and passionate in making residents happy. The staff in the office is professional and always makes sure i leave in a good mood. My work orders are always completed in a timely manner and they follow up the next day to make sure it was done properly. I would tell anyone I know to live here. Strongly Consider Other Options !!!!!!*** Must Read *****I have lived in Allister Place for about 6 months now & I am highly disappointed ☹️ with the apartments. Overall the apartments look nice as far as appliances and are big in size. The problems with the apartments are not the property staff I have had little to no problems with staff. The property staff has changed 3 times since I moved in I’m not sure why but they all are usually punctual when it comes to any problems or concerns so far. The main issue with the apartments is that they are really OLD. THE BUILDING NEEDS TO BE GUTTED OUT IN ORDER TO FIX ANY OF THESE ISSUES! So just know moving here your issues will NEVER get resolved. THESE ARE NOT LUXURY APARTMENTS. They are overpriced!(1)Within my first 30 days I had an issue with TERMITES swarming my home. I had to have pest control come out about 3 times before they went away which was extremely difficult to deal with during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also helped the situation by keeping my air low around 69 daily and using lamps instead of the big lights in the home.(2)I literally find a SPIDER 🕷 almost once a month. Granite they are to be harmless but somehow they get thru crawl spaces which I can’t seem to find to have closed which is just aggravating.(3)about 6 OUTLETS DO NOT WORK! Maintenance explained to me the building is just old and they can’t fix the outlets.(4) THERE ARE GNATS that come through the sinks. No matter how clean I keep my sick gnats fly out of the drain. So the drain in my sink in the master bedroom I keep closed to minimize the gnats.(5)the APARTMENTS HAVE A PLUMBING ISSUE! You will be charged for your water monthly which you will see slowly increase over the months because of a plumbing issues in the apartments. The bathroom and kitchen drains water slowly and you will have a problem with your toilet being clogged at some point along with having to flush the toilet several times when using to remove everything from the toilet. Which will increase your water bill.(6) there are BATS 🦇 in the community. So be cautious when going out at night.(7) there is FLOODING IN THE PARKING LOT. Certain areas in the parking lots will flood. I’m not sure if it’s due to cliff drains or not enough drains but keep this in mind especially living in Florida being that it rains a lot. The water has came higher than the sidewalk so you are walking in nothing but water until you reach your apartment.(8) the complex does not accept money orders they encourage you to pay online or at Ace checking but THERE IS A $45 SERVICE FEE TO PAY YOUR RENT ONLINE! Which is ridiculous being that there rent is already overpriced for what you are getting.(9) THE WALLS ARE SUPER THIN. Which most apartments have this issue it’s just what comes with apartment living but you can hear your neighbors argue, have sex, dinner, or movies. I’ve noticed if you keep your bathroom doors closed it’s not as loud to hear others but believe me if you are in your bathroom talking whatsoever you can almost have a conversation thru the walls with your neighbors.(10) there are UNEVEN FLOORS I lived on the 3rd floor in the master bedroom near the window there is a decline in the floor almost like a whole step so my room furniture can only be arranged a certain way.- Now I can say the amenities are nice regarding the gym, outside gym, and pool area. They keep the grounds fairly clean& they have a nice little dog park. The staff is friendly & can complete their job again THE ISSUES WITH THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX CANNOT BE RESOLVED UNLESS THEY BUILDINGS ARE GUTTED OUT! So any of the 10 issues I listed that I have had within the past 6 months you will be paying for and dealing with because most of them will NEVER be fixed. Once I find a different apartment I will be breaking my lease because it’s just not worth $1200 + added monthly fees for water, pest control, valet trash, & amenities!Strongly reconsider elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!

There is a lot of drug related activities being held in and around this entire complex. The neighborhood in itself is trashy, run down and falling apart everywhere. There is never any available parking, the noise level is out of control (during quiet hours) and it is completely infested with roaches, other bugs, stray cats and frogs. I understand some of these problems can not be resolved by Allister Place but the entire neighborhood gives off an air of a lack of upkeep or care.Unfortunately, the management and leasing office has given me one of the worst customer service experiences Ive ever had as well. Even giving this complex one star is too many! DO NOT MOVE HERE. New owners took over and they have the rudest, most ineffective staff. Maintenance request can no longer be made online, instead you have to go to the office. I went every day for a week requesting maintenance and every day I was told they “forgot to put the request in.” It took 7 days and me being rude to the staff for someone to send maintenance out. They also never answer the phones so if you want something done you need to go in person! They replaced the shower heads and sink faucet to “conserve water” but it’s really them being cheap. The new shower head does not give out more than a mist and the new faucet makes a loud hissing sound. When I brought this to their attention they said there’s nothing they can do. I was forced to buy my own shower head to replace theirs. Valet trash is terrible, they don’t always pick up on the days they are supposed to and it’s never in the time frame they said!Save yourself the headache and live somewhere else!

I’ve lived here for 7 months now and I must say that I am very happy with my decision. Ashley made my move-in process a breeze and has always been attentive. I am in the largest one-bedroom and it is the perfect size for 1 person and a pet. The grounds are well maintained and it’s evident that management takes pride in the property. I would highly recommend.

Moved from San Diego, CA to Tampa in July 2018. Prior to our move Ashley from the office has been exceptional! Before we moved, we were in contact numerous times as she answered all of our questions and kept in touch ensuring we had a smooth transition. As far as the apartments, they are very affordable, location is ok and close to everything. Had to call maintenance twice and both times they were out fixing the apartment the next morning. Very satisfied with moving to Allister Place. Thanks again Ashley! Keep up the great work!Jorge

I love living here! Ive only been here for about a month so far, but I have really enjoyed it! The office staff have always been super friendly, and Ive never had any issues with my apartment, with parking, or with other residents. My neighbor is very friendly we both keep the outside of our units looking tidy & kept up with. The grounds are also kept up very well by management. This is a really nice complex, especially for the money. The pool area is always kept up with, from what I can tell, and the grass is watered daily. I live in a third floor unit, so I have carpet, but it looked brand new when I moved in (maybe it was), and the apartment was really clean. I love the stainless steel appliances! Also the fact that there was a full size washer & dryer in each unit helped make my decision a bit easier. The size of the unit is great! Even though its a one bedroom, I have more than enough room for large furniture & have plenty of room for guests/company to visit. I havent had a problem at all with any bugs, roaches, spiders, etc, and Im pretty sure they spray around the complex pretty regularly. Really happy that I went with Allister Place!

I just moved in with my daughter. New management took over before I moved in and already making positive changes, adding parking, valet trash removal, option for valet laundry. There is a washer and dryer in unit, clean, safe, friendly staff. Maintenance took care of everything the same day and went above and beyond (replaced lightbulbs and installed brand new sink faucet, when most places would have only taped the faucet drip). I notice the complex is very pet friendly! Lots of pet parents! The area is very quiet, the atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for the working class. This is a great place for the area and price, Ive been researching for 6 months and this is the best choice for us!

Save yourself the headaches, car break ins, and fright of strange people walking around the apartment complex all times of the night. My daughter had been living here for over a year and it had been nothing but issues. Her car was broken into twice, even after they swore that they had hired private security. Just this past weekend there were over 12 cars broken into the same night, the police and detectives were everywhere. Apartments look nice from the outside but are falling apart from inside out. It is not safe to live here. Her apartment experienced leak after leak, until finally she came home and the entire apartment was flooded. She was forced to move out. It was not safe to live in, even after they fixed everything from the flood, which only took 2 days (not realistic based on the damage). The only positive thing in the apartment complex are the maintenance guys who were very helpful in some situations. The headache of having my child live here was not worth the lovely appearance given on by the model apartment. For your safety, find somewhere else to live.

Me and my girlfriend have been living in our apartment here at Allister Place since June. I can truly say that it is a beautiful apartment. Especially for the area that it resides in. I have heard from various individuals and sources of how great the apartments are since they been remodeled. The Front Office has been very helpful. Any issues we have had with our apartment, maintenance was sent almost immediately. The ladies at the Front Office are very alert and welcoming. The only issues I can say I have had with Allister Place is with the floors I can hear almost every footstep my neighbors upstairs take ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT.

Update: the person who designed parking spots doesn’t have common sense? They have 5 consecutive parking spots lined up at the very end of the parking lot with the word ‘guest’ on them. However, there is one spot smack dab in the middle of these guest parking spaces that does not have the word ‘guest’ painted on it so it is not guest parking. Ironically, this spot is aligned with the speed bump on one side, and is at the bottom of a small hill, so when it rains, there is a huge puddle over the spot where you would not be able to read the marking if there was the word ‘guest’ painted there. But there is nothing painted there to let you know it’s resident parking and NOT guest parking. This spot used to be a guest spot but then was resurfaced in the past year so it was specifically removed by someone very special. So don’t assume that a group of guest parking spots at the end of the row are guest parking even if they are grouped together! According to reviews others have had their cars towed too, so to anyone parking there: don’t go with your common sense assumption that it’s in a guest parking area. Instead, get a pump to remove the puddle of water when you are parking there in the dark so you can see if it says guest or not! If they cared about their residents like they claim to, they would fix this problem. It’s obvious they don’t care when they knew exactly which spot I was talking about because it’s happened to others but haven’t done anything to change it.

DO NOT PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN. They’re not refunding my $100 they kept to keep me on a “wait list” not even holding an apartment. When I first did the application Lauren didn’t tell me I needed a job before I could get an apartment here after taking the $100. This caused my application to be in pending which is fine. I found another apartment and called back asking for my deposit that they absolutely did not perform any services. This is just bad business, if I were you I would find somewhere else to stay just in case you run into issues and they screw you over. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They have 2.4 stars out of 5 for a reason. Again, I recommend to stay away. Look into Lakeview Oaks apartment complex.

People need to know where they’re moving into. If I can give this place (new management) a zero I would. Before new management took over Allister Place was decent apartment complex with no problems. Easily would gave this place 5 stars and probably would’ve renewed my lease. But now the management team are is the most incompetent and insensitive group I ever meet (I’ll get into this matter later).Anyway, very thin walls and doors. My apartment smells like weed and cigarettes everyday from neighbors in the same building. You will constantly hear people walking around and talking. The trash valet service is practically useless. Its only active half of the week and ive still had the same trash by my door for a couple of weeks or they leave trash behind. Its easier and more convenient to just take it out myself, but they are getting rid of the dumpsters so that will only make things worse. This place doesnt have a area for large trash items (which is dumb and making the place look trashier). The best thing about this place is the maintenance team. Their the only group of people who are courteous and respectful. They will say there’s more parking space but all they was removed the dumpsters and made those into spaces. Which was like 9. Please don’t be fooled. As much people who stay here there’s instead enough parking. For the price they want for it you might as well move to somewhere that is nicer and that a staff team that’s more professional and give you a better piece of mind. So, please don’t try to reach out to me with your fake concerns. Stop trying put on a face for a review and new tenants. If you really cared you’ll would have a staff training a long time ago (to help your rude staff become more human) or actually listen to people concerns. I talked to talk to this staff several times and was met with rude and not concern members. And in return you probably got a snappy responds because of you’re approach. Learn to do better. So this where I would like end things. People should know what they’re getting into and this is my honest truth and that’s why name is removed from this post.p.s. current 5 stars rating are from people who wasn’t here during the change and arrived when the place was already turned into a dump. So I can I see why it’s no problem to them. It’s sad to this place to be so mediocre when it had some much potential.

In the apartment there were cucarrachas and mice in addition to my apartment lived a couple who every night we woke up with arguments parsley that was going to fall the roof this was at dawn and they never did anything. When we turned the year we went they told us that they would send the deposit I was sent a paper that owed more than 1000 dollars because I leave the dirty carpet that I had already taken 500 of the deposit and that I lack another 500 but they are brazen in that place each Time that someone goes from there happens the same always invent something to stay with the warehouse and from my experience I recommend that you do not go there looking for rent renting there there were quite a lot of robberies

Gave this place the benefit of the doubt because of reviews I’ve read online. But actually, the reviews are absolutely correct. I do not recommend this place at all. It’s infested with lizards and baby frogs. Not your typical Florida amount, but an unreasonable ammount. They are everywhere. The parking alone should be a major sign to not move in. The ratio of people living in the apartments and the amount of parking there is does not equate. This means you’ll have to drive around until you find a parking spot. There’s guest parking but there’s usually broken down cars that sit there permanently or cars that belong to people who live in the apartments but sit there permanently as well, there’s covers on the cars and everything. There’s like 10 guest parking covered by a dumpster that could be used as guest parking but isn’t. Inside the apartment itself is nice overall. Front desk employees are helpful before signing the lease but useless and unapologetic after you’re tied down to the lease. Read all reviews before moving in please, don’t make a mistake you’ll regret.

I believe when I moved in December 2016, it was recently under the new management that is Allister Place. I was a little afraid because the prior reviews had been awful, but they reflect the prior management company. The staff has always been helpful and friendly since the initial leasing process. I moved into one of their newly renovated units with the laminate floors (I have a pet, so carpet is a no-go), and love it. In-unit stackable washer and dryer is amazing.Maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly and completely. For the most part, it is a quiet complex with beautiful landscaping, perfect for dog walking. It seems silly to charge pet rent since their dog park definitely needs a facelift and is a dirt lot with a fence around it, but perhaps thats something they are looking to renovate next. Allister Place is probably one of the nicest complexes in the Busch area and I think the price reflects that. There is a shortage of guest parking, yes, so it can be frustrating. The towing company that is used is predatory, in my opinion, and will demand cash on hand to retrieve your car. I dont know if this is common practice, but its rubbish. They have worked to add more guest parking after residents complained so they are working on that issue. All in in all, I have enjoyed my time living at Allister Place.

I currently live here, my lease is up in August so i’ve almost lived here for a year and overall it’s a pretty good place to live. Every apartment complex has its pros and cons but for the most part Allister Place has a lot of pros. The maintenance staff is amazing, they always get to problems right away. One time our air conditioning broke and they were here within the hour. The office staff is also really great. They always do little things for residents, like for Christmas they offered free gift wrapping which I loved. The pool is nice and clean as well as the grounds. I honestly don’t have any noise complaints, sometimes you can hear the neighbors but only if they’re moving furniture or something, but living on the bottom floor I expected that, the walls aren’t paper thin or anything. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about bad parking but i’ve never had a problem. There’s lots of parking on my side of the complex which is around to the left of when you pull it. Cons of living here: the area isn’t very good and someone tried to break into my car(that being said there is a security company they hired that patrols at night so it makes me feel a little better), there’s no garbage disposal in the kitchen, I think they apartment is a little small for the price and location (currently in a 2 bedroom), and my front door area is always flooded if it rains, we had to get rid of the front door mat because it would just never dry. But I think it’s a pretty decent place to live. I do wish it was a gated community though just because of the area. I personally don’t feel safe taking the trash out at night, but during the day it’s okay. I hope this review helps someone out.

I would not recommend moving here AT ALL to anyone! I reported to the leasing office that my apartment was infested with termites(one actually crawled on me). They were literally EVERYWHERE!!!!! If I was able to upload the videos I definitely would. When I reported the issue they stated that it would be a couple of days before they can figure out what to do about the termites. I advised them how hazardous having termites are not only to myself but to my children as well. I requested to move into a different unit at least until I found a better property to lease from and I was told that I would have to pay a transfer fee of $500 dollars for an internal issue that was out of my control. The apartments are run down and old. There has been reported issues of mold. They only tried to cover up the flaws of the apartments to make it look somewhat appealing. The parking is horrible for us residents who have multiple vehicles. The new management team are not efficient nor helpful at all. If I could leave the stars blank I would! They should start from scratch and rebuild the entire complex instead of trying to hide the real internal issues.

She told me it would, and that she would email me with all the details and information (application form, floor plan, etc). I didnt receive an email that day or the next morning so I called again and talked to another female leasing agent, I explained my situation again, including the income verification. She told me Katie had talked to her manager and that the information she gave me was wrong. Again, I asked to be emailed all of the details and documents so I could proceed with the application. This agent didnt email me either! Not only did both leasing agents failed to send me a simple email with the information, Katie didnt even gave me the courtesy of letting me know the information she provided was wrong!!I explained to both of them the urgency of my situation and was even willing to pay the full lease (12 months of rent) up front, but after this experience I cant imagine living there. They have been considerate, friendly, enthusiastic, fair, honest, and excited. I signed my lease later than they would have liked, but Shelly didnt seem to mind. She had my apartment reserved and ready for me whenever I decided to make the big decision. These apartments arent even worth it & Ill give you the reasons why: #1. Its located in the middle of the hood, surrounded by crackheads begging for change #2. Unprofessional property management, they arent personable at all. They will lie to you. They lied to me. I was late on my rent and so they sent me a notice stating that I had to pay $300.00 immediately or an eviction would be filed. I went in the office to pay it, however the woman in the office didnt have the paperwork for me to sign, so she placed a call to their lawyer & it seems as though the lawyer had no idea as to what the woman in the office was referring to. Well just to sweep everything under the rug, I paid the fees & she confirmed that the payment made was going to STOP the eviction. Next thing I know my girlfriend went up to the leasing office last Friday and they had advised her that I paid the $300.00 to START the eviction. On top of that we have until tommorow to move or else an eviction notice will be placed on the door. I would like to elaborate about how unprofessional the staff is. The property manager Kiley lives right above me & she has a drinking problem. She has shared information about tenants and her staff with both my girlfriend & I! As a gay black woman Im hurt at the way Ive been treated & Im looking into getting an attorney, because Nobody deserves to be mistreated. Especially at a place that I once called home.
