Me and my son love it!! Staff is GREAT especially Ms. Jackie!! She stopped everything that she was doing just to get me into my apartment!!

I put in a maintenance request over the weekend and was told it was a non emergency due to it not being 80 degrees outside (regardless of the inside temp). I also informed the maintenance guy that we have wasps on our porch and are unable to open our doors to cool down the home. Now I did my best to be patient and understand that it was the weekend and we did what we could to cool the house down (no cooking, lights off, fans on) Maintenance came the next morning and got the AC working again but in the night it sparked and popped ( a FIRE HAZARD but no concern about that) and went off again. I put in a maintenance request this morning before work and NO ONE came all day. I got home and my house is 80 degrees inside current outside temp is 79 degrees and not 80 ( I took a screenshot with a timestamp since the maintenance guy decided he wanted to argue about it saying it was only 75 despite the fact that I was literally looking at the temp while on the phone ). We were told we have to wait the night out again with no ac EVEN THOUGH I put a request in first thing in the morning. This is what you guys call caring about your residents??

The Commons is very comfortable living and quiet anything I need fixed maintenance is on it right away.

I enjoy the apartments at The Commons because they keep the areas very clean. There service and maintain is very sufficient very polite and respectful. When we call in they are in the apartment in three hours or less they solve your problem and fix what they have to fix. When you call to the office or go to the office they attend to you very polite and friendly. Like the place because it’s very family type.

Just moved in. The office staff was amazing and got me in super fast. Maintenance answers quickly! Community is beautiful and it’s quiet. Very convenient to everything!

My sister and 4 children had there ac stop working and sparkling sunday night, called monday morning at 8am no sevice tech came out. She called again after work today 2/15 and now has to stay another night with no air. She has 4 babies ranging from 10 - 2. This is totally unacceptable.

I called the office regarding a drip from the overflow pipe on our AC. Miss Jackie told me she would have maintenance stop by to check out the problem. He was here within an hour, blew out the clog and even stopped on the way out to socialize with our bird. Thank you to all of the staff for friendly, safe and efficient service. 😁

Since we have moved in, The Commons have been nothing but accommodating! We love our apartment and how close everything is in the neighborhood. The Commons staff are professional and impeccable.

You call it in to the office the people of the maintenance will come to your apartment to repair anything that is broken or has to be taken care of they do it the same day sometimes the 2nd a there is a lots apartments and they give good maintenance .

Ive lived in the Commons for 1.5 years. This is my third apartment complex I have lived in while in Tampa.I can say that this is the best Apartment Complex I have lived in. The grounds are well kept, neighbors are considerate, the office and matinence staff are always easy to get a hold of and deal with.I have had issues in my apartment like the garbage disposal not working or even the air conditioning, even on weekends, the matinence staff was there within a day or even hours to fix the problems/replace anything.

The Apartment management has been very helpful and friendly. I have lived here for just a month now and every maintenance situation was handled quickly and satisfactorily. This would be 5 stars except that we have not had the gate able to be closed at night yet and that would be very helpful and ensure our sense of security.

I personally like The Commons. The staff and maintenance personnel are very kind and helpful especially when you need them. For 5yrs, I have had major problems in my unit that finally got resolved with my new leasing manager. I recently had a family of flying insects in my living room and water leaks. The water leaks kept recurring over and over for five years. Unfortunately the damage was so severe, major appliances had to be removed. I passionately addressed my worry to the new manager, Mr Javier. He not only listened to my concerns, he went over and beyond to solve my problems.Maintenance staff responded in a timely manner. They fumigated my apartment to get rid of the flies asap. A couple days later, maintenance staff Alex looked thoroughly to find where the leak was truly coming from. When he found it. He brought the appropriate personnel to repair the leak. The next day, my floors and the damaged baseboards were replaced. I got to say, my apartment looks livable again! Furthermore, Ive been a resident for five years now and in those five years, I have seen majors changes from the new blue exterior look we now see as we drive by the apartment, the pool and play area to the updated floors I can now say I have. ☺️😃 I love the new look!!To my leasing manager Javier, Ms Jackie, and maintenance crew, THANK YOU so much for all you do for us. The Commons is pretty quiet, the location is great and the rent comparable due to the size of the apartments. The apartments need some renovations they were built in the 70’s. The wood is decaying in areas of the apartment, windows that are threatening to fall apart when touched, the fixtures are old and dated along with walls that have years of layered cheap paint on them. The apartments need life saving surgery instead of the bandaids they continue to receive.

Weve had many problems since weve moved in. All The Commons staff members on site are extremely friendly and responsive. Unfortunately the problems have been with water pipes disintegrating leading to leaks and clogs multiple times. We also have two units with trouble neighbors. Police are called to the area regularly. They came every few days for about 6 weeks straight. There was screaming and fighting outside my door for hours on end. Its really soured my experience here, to be honest.

Kudos to the assistant office manager Jacqueline! She always goes above and beyond to assist me with my apartment needs and concerns. She is prompt, nice, and pleasant. I appreciate good customer service especially where I rent from.:)

I placed my request at 10 PM and the maintenance gentleman was here by 9:30 AM. My air conditioner was not working, it turns out is was a plugged line and it was fixed in under 30 minutes.

MY APARTMENT IS FULL OF TERMITES I CALL THE EMERGENCY NUMBER AND GUY SAID THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY AND THAT PET CONTROL WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. THEY ARE FLYING AND CRAWLING EVERYWHERE. I SHOULDNT HAVE TO BE DEALING WITH THIS AND WORRIED ABOUT THEM GETTING IN MY EAR WHILE I SLEEP. I should be allowed to break my lease. I refuse to deal with bugs in my house. I’ve seen so many reviews about roaches mices and now here I am leaving one about termites.

They do not stand by their word. The referral program offers $500 off rent when tenant move in. No true. My apartment was mice & roaches infested. Seen pest control once. Water bill sky high, double charged for garbage removal. Which their valet sucks. Loud neighbors pot smoking all over before you can get in your apartment you high. maintenance never get your requests. Recorder states if you have more that one bath that is not an emergency. The request never forwarded . The male office employee all ways nice. The female fake as can be.., pajing not close to where you live. Many nights had to pAi front of buiy.

The Mangment is top notch and the apartments are well kept and remodeled... Walking distance to everything..

The buildings are infested with termites badly. The staff could care less, I wrote a very detailed letter requesting to please be moved to a termite free unit or to break the lease without penalty, in which I received no follow up. Over the time my health conditions became at risk and while visiting my doctor my doctor wrote a letter requesting for them to remove us immediately, with no follow up me and my boyfriend moved in an emergency to escape infested unit 229. The commons are now trying to charge us for termination of the lease. We will be contacting civil courts and an attorney if need be.

I had a wonderful experience moving in; Jacqueline was extremely helpful and thorough explaining prices, policies and procedures.

I applied for an apartment in Tampa Florida. The apartment online shows it is supposed to be $1220 a month. The apartment complex sent me a welcome letter showing my rent would be $1415 a month. When I questioned it I was advised the rent went up. I have looked on the website everyday and it still shows my rent is supposed to be $1220. There has never been an increase on the website ever. Also, my pet deposit per my welcome letter shows $250. The management company also has increased that to $296 and also added a $15 pet rent that was also not included in my welcome letter. I have maintenance issues from before I even moved in that I have advised the management about and still have not been resolved. I have maintenance requests that I have submitted online on July 11th that have not been fixed either.

At first I liked this place very quit and peaceful nobody bothers you. But there is a roach and termite problem thats just the start of the problems here. The maintenance men are gross they come in wearing their shoes and smoking in your apartment while swearing the entire time they are fixing anything. I learned very quickly if your not Spanish dont move in. They hate white people. My child gets blamed for everything out here that gets destroyed by all the trashy neighborhood kids. They pick on my son and are constantly bullying him. I also informed the office staff that I had a dog that would be staying with me from time to time while my husband was on deployments over seas and they didnt seem to have a problem until after I moved in and I started receiving letters saying I was in violation. I was told I would not be allowed to renew my lease which I hadnt planned on doing anyway. My apartment is one of the cleanest in this dirty place yet Im not allowed to stay, fine with me. The carpet in this place was installed improperly and began to start fraying I told the office and was charged because it was determined to have been done by my pit bull this just shows their ignorance because he is a boxer and hound mix. This place is a joke I have a perfect renters history never late on a payment and have excellent credit I moved here because I like the location. I would advise anyone looking to move in here who isnt Spanish or doesnt mind roaches to look else where because apparently you have to be poor, Spanish or dirty to live here.

Heed my warning: do not move here! It is nothing but a nightmare and I will explain why. My roommate and I moved in July 2017 and left April 2018, breaking our lease early. When we toured, they of course showed us the model and told us that our apartment would look exactly the same. We knew it was not going to be upgraded nor the nicest but it was in our price range. Upon moving in, the issues immediately began. There were no lights in the ceiling in our apartment as there were in the model. The garbage disposal in the sink began backing up and the sink would fill with black sewage smelling water. The noise is ridiculous coming from the neighbors. The gate broke the second week that we were there and was never fixed even after bringing it to management’s attention multiple times. Let me add, the area is one that the gate is appreciated.When we moved in, the management company assured us that the water bills were billed by apartment. They were not. We were informed by our first water bill that it is an average of the building divided by sq. feet and occupants. Our building was made up of 2 bedroom apartments but I know for a fact many housed way more. So the 2 of use were paying $120 a month for water. INSANE. Then, they switched water companies and we lost all water pressure. We broke our lease because living here was a nightmare even with the new management. My roommate went in and specifically asked for our last water bill so that it did not go to collections and was assured we would receive it in the mail. Guess what happened? I got a call from collections! Our last water bill was sent to them and get this, it was $185!Upper Management is of no help either. We called our Regional Vice President Janice to see if she would excuse our $1,100 early termination fee because of all the issues that we had been having and that was the sole reason we are breaking our lease. Not only was she rude, she was condescending and didn’t so much as have a concession on our account.This place is a joke. If you like tons of trash piling up by the dumpster you pay $13 a month for, shirtless men smoking blunts on picnic tables, horrible management or paying for other people’s water then this is the place for you.

I encourage people to not rent here. The community is disgusting. Trash is always overflowing. I lived there for 4 years, the last 2 years new management took over and theyre completely incompetent and extremely unprofessional. They sent my last water bill to collections even though it was paid. Every time I went in to clarify the situation I got the run around. It took the fourth visit to finally get it straightened out even though it shouldve never happened in the first place. The apartments are always getting tented, it takes 2, 3 or more times for maintenance to get things fixed and theres a bunch of drug dealing going on. Comes down to skecky, dirty and bad management.

Overall my family and I havent had any bad experience because we keep to ourselves but the amount we pay here you could pay in a way better neighborhood or for a house. 1 thing I dislike is that we live across the street from a elementary school so traffic is crazy in the morning. The worst place to live in Tampa, everything is damaged and very old, be careful with the administration people they’re rude, disorganized, disrespectful and they don’t solve your problem, they don’t care about the tenants only receiving a paycheck for the rent I highly recommend everyone to avoid this place even if it’s the only place you find it’s not worth the headaches,problems,etc the first thing they don’t tell you is that the buildings are about 40 years old so AVOID renting here. My lease was for a year and I managed to complain so much that they terminated my lease without penalties because of all the problems I had and they started the minute I moved in.

This complex is a rip off. Although it is spacious it is not worth it. There are termites and roaches. They keep the buildings near the office looking nice, but the rest are garbage. I have been living here 6 months and I was ready to go 5 months ago.

Very excited that I renewed my lease here . I have been here a full year and love the office staff .Everyone has showed respect and will do everything they can to help . I love how they are very engaged in making the community happy and how they are engaged with the children as well. They have movie nights, pizza and all kind of activities for the children. The property manager is awesome and helps out a lot to everyone’s needs with a smile at all times . He will jump to your need to do anything he can to make your stay here a home. Mrs Jackie is amazing and so bubbly i love how caring she is and understands everyones situation because I have been through a lot in my personal life and she is always so comforting . Every Friday she has candy for the kids and will do everything to make sure your happy as well . Also another team member that I met and he’s very helpful as well. Always smiling and laughing . In addition, we have amazon hub out here so when I ordered I know when it’s coming and when it’s delivered . On the side of the office you can type in the code that was emailed/text to you at the hub boxes and it pops open . It’s so cool And so conviennt ! Very secured and safe as well . The pool is always clean and the community too . They are working on getting the gates fix and we all have our new access cards .The park for the kids is awesome and beautifulI love this place and look forward to staying here for awhile . As a single mother of one, in the RN (nursing) program things are not easy for me but the team does everything they can to help me and everyone else ! They make it that much easier ! For all who may ask is there any issues, I would just say the gate but there working on that now . I love it at the commons !!!!!!!Carolyn and jurnee ❤️

Not a bad place, but the price is much higher than its worth. And the rent keeps going up all the time. They are not luxury apartments, just very normal apartments. Do not move in to the 2nd floor or you will have to deal with the terrible heat because they dont have big enough ac units to handle the summer Florida heat. The plumbing is very bad. Water comes out brown sometimes, very unhealthy. They do have very spacious floorplans though. I did get my apartment very clean, and I never had to deal with roach problems. Only saw 2 roaches the entire year, which is a new record for any apartment in Tampa. Other than that, it is a good place to live, just not permanently. I only moved there because I was rushing to find something before my last lease expired. Also, the maintenance and office staff are very nice and helpful. Thats the main reason for the 4 stars.

I just came into the leasing office to inquire on availability. The office person speaking to another person stated... Why do people walk in when my blinds are closed. Extremely rude considering there was no sign on the door... I will continue looking.

Overly priced. Told rent would be one price, then they charge for using washer and dryer without notification. And water bill is almost $200 a month. Horrible water pressure, drains in bathrooms and kitchen constantly clogged. Sewage smell constantly coming from drains. Never any parking close to your building. Office personnel rude and disrespectful. When it rains the complex floods really bad. Hallways constantly dirty. You can hear every step the people on second floor make. Place is falling apart! All around a horrible place to live!!!!! Stay away!!!! Not worth the money at all!!!!!

Lived here two years, they raised our rent while giving new tenants the cheaper rent. Make you pay $15 a month for trash, but it overflows and looks disgusting. Roach and termite problem, terrible parking, bad water pressure, theyll make you buy a card for the gate, and charge you constantly. Only good thing is the big rooms and floor plan. And its named The Commons which is super boring considering there are complexes named Boardwalk and Park Place next to the Commons. Just sounds really degrading. You can find a way better place than this

Because you barely have parking when you leaveand come back your spot is gone so have to park somewhere else if you have trash on the they make you pay for the trash but the wifi is no they meke you pay

Units are large and spaces but poorly kept. They have extensive grounds but they dont keep them well. The stairs have a design flaw that has you tripping right by the stairs opening, very hazardous. In desperate need of new management. They are also very axpensive. All units over a 1K and you have to set payment thru a third party which feels very fraudulent. Would not reccomd. There are better places just 5 minutes up Habana onto waters.

Dont waste your money. For how much they charge you would think they could update the apartments some instead of just painting over everything, including the bathtub. They also charge a pest control yet there is still a terrible bug problem. The maintenance here is a joke, nothing ever gets fixed properly. Plumbing is terrible, no water pressure and nothing drains. The water also stops working about twice a month for a whole day, still not sure what thats about. Also good luck finding a parking spot anywhere near your apartment after 8pm. The only good things I can say about this place is the size of the apartments(very roomy) and they are very quiet, but at this price I think you can find much better apartments.

To start off with the office ladies are very nice.............. but the maintenance guys are non-professional. When you ask them to fix something they take forever to do it and blame you for whatever the problem is. The buildings are so roach infested it scares you to death, especially if you have children. The water comes out brown as if youre using recycled water and it stinks very bad. I really wouldnt recommend anyone to these apartments, dont be fooled by the outside because the inside is not a comfortable living condition. Before you move in take pictures and also when you move out, They keep your deposit and show you pictures of another apartment that was left filthy and tell you it was yours so they will try to keep your deposit. Overall those apartments are nasty and disgusting.

Horrible place to live! Ac leaked several times, disposal flooded out under the sink...DISGUSTING! Roof leaks that would fill the light fixture on the roof in the master with water and we would come into the floor being covered in water. Horrible neighbors and the lady in the office was rude...and to top it all off...the plumbing was atrocious! Dirty water would flow up into the tub while you were showering. and we would wake up to find dirt and food had flowed up into the sink in the master! GROSS!!! And not to mention the gated entry was a joke...people would always get locked out! Spare yourself and turn and run the other way!

Bathroom and Kitchen Sink continuously clogged. When a work order is submitted they close them without coming to your unit. This has happened to me 4xs and counting sadly. Very exhausting and a constant headache for them to lie that they came to your unit when they know they did not. I work from home so its ongoing issue. Non emergencies maintenance issues are still issues that need to be taken care of timely as I pay rent on time, maintenance should be handled accordingly as well. Office staff are kind but does not negate the issues of the complex regarding maintenance.

My experience has been excellent. Very friendly staff, well clean recreational areas, excellent requested service. I have no complaints at all.

I like them a lot, good location the bad thing is that my kitchen cabinets are super old and they even smell like a cockroach

This condo has a social space for activities, equipped with conditions to spend a pleasant time with the family.

It fascinates me where I live, I have no complaints.

Good well equipped and clean apartments, but the service of the garbage deposit is lousy, there is no order or hygiene.

They only treat you well when you are going to hire, when you are already installed the maintenance is terrible and when you decide to leave you never return your full deposit
