Terrible for the first time i went outside to watch to see how bad the capelouto man has been ripping my parents off, it was embarrassing, we will not be using your company ever again, im going to take care of my parents home from now on. I want to talk to a owner or manager to make a verbel complaint.

My husband and I purchased a home here in Tallahassee this year. The home has had a termite bond since 2014 with Capeluto - 2 previous owners maintained the contract. We just renewed one month ago at $467 a year, Centricon system, bait stations. Massey came to quote our lawn service and mentioned the termite stations. We talked and was advised they charge less for new stations to be placed initially then what I pay a year— and that the renewal years are only 225$ a year not $467.I contacted Capeluto two weeks ago to make inquiry as to their higher prices. The lady was very nice but said that Liz would call me back. Never heard from Liz snd yesterday got a call from Tech saying he was coming to remove my system. We talked about the situation and that I was totally unaware that they had canceled the contract as no one called me back. He said my cost was higher that their yearly rate even with the new system and that he would discuss this with the manager to see if we could work something out.The tech called today and said that he was coming to remove the system and throw them away — because the original contracted customers in 2014 got a discounted rate of $200 dollars down to put in the system they agreed to pay $467 year to make up the difference. So I am stuck under their pricing and contract if I want to continue service. Well— I think they made up the $200 difference 10 years ago lol ridiculous! Rather than to keep a client and offer me their normal pricing yearly rate — pull out the system and cancel them is what the MANAGER said. I will make sure to call corporate and let everyone I work with know — who have them — and recommended them — to check their contracts as well.

My technicians are always courteous, responsive to any particular problems, call before coming to confirm appointment, and have no problems with my dogs barking.

Capelouto has been servicing our home for decades and weve been extremely pleased with the service and the wonderful technicians we’ve had over the years. The treatment is effective for our wooded area and we’ve found the technicians to be knowledgeable, friendly, and considerate. The technicians check to be sure the service is meeting our needs. The company appears to take care to minimize potential pesticide exposure of its technicians and they, in turn, have always been careful not to expose our dogs and cats to the pesticides. Were obviously pleased with the service and expect to be customers for many years to come!

First, the price is high compare to terminix. It is doubled, both initial treatment or annual renewal. Secound, I never see anyone stop by for general pest control and the fire ants is all over the place with in 10 feet of my house. But they never forget charge my card for 35$ evey month. Good job Allen Donaldson for your contract sale. For all the people consider this company, check out with Terminix after you did quote Capelouto and you will see how ridiculous the price is.

You really cannot tell how good a company is until you file a claim. I have been a customer of Capelouto Termite & Pest Control for 9 years. Last month we found termite activities in our garage. Capelouto immediately sent tech over and did emergency treatment. Manager Paul and his crew then followed up with damage assessment, treatment, repair, and restore. The job was professionally done. Paul called me after everything is done to make sure I am satisfied with the result and ensured me Capelouto will do everything they can to protect my house from termites.Having termites is not a good thing but I did have great experience with Capelouto’s services. It is a big relief knowing I have a great company on my side.

Cant recommend Capelouto enough. It all started one fine summer day and we got fire ants in our house that bit my newborn son. At the time we were using a different pest control, who refused to come out because it was mid-month of our contract. Called up Capelouto and BAM those suckers were taken care of within an hour.Now, we have our monthly contract with them and for my family its well worth it. They always come through when we need them, whether its for the regular visit or not. We always get the same person, Eddie, and hes always kind to my entire family. Fire ants are a constant issue, and any time we see a new mound pop-up in our yard, we call them, Eddie generally shows up within an hour, the same day, and makes it safe for the kiddos to go back to playing in the yard.

Taz is always thorough with his inspections and anytime we call with an issues, he comes out during a convenient time. He lets us know what he has done and what we need to do to prevent issues in the future.

Affordable and come out at no additional charge to address any pests that find their way inside your home while in between treatments. Loyal customer for 8+ years!

Made a claim on termite damage last December 2019. Sent multiple text and call for update on claim. Now I have a renewal notice for my bond. Why should I renew a bond, you cant make a claim on?

I give them a three because when Capelouto was a family owned business, they were amazing. It has not been the same quality of product used to spray for all kinds of bugs, since bought over by Terminix. (I would have given them a zero.) I am not surprised because we originally had Terminix services and switched to Capelouto when the ants, wasps, roaches and spiders were taking over and we were loosing the battle. The staff is still incredibly helpful and professional but I cancelled the monthly maintenance because it did not seem to be working. Once again, the bugs were taking over and my money went along with it. I am worried about our termite bond because it renewed months after Terminix took over.

Today, we had fire ants in the kitchen! We thought that they only would come on monday, but today at 7:00pm julio came over! he was an expert, was very nice and even did more treatment than normal.capolouto should be very proud to have julio 😀😀😀😀
