I asked for the dip powder and its a mess!! I cant wait to get this off my nails!!

When I first walked in the nail salon, the owner was very harsh in her tune of voice about sitting to get my nails done. I eventually sat down to get my nails done by Lynn, she is a little hidden secret in Tallahassee in doing nails, I was well pleased with her work. Her customer service was on point, she had a lot patience with my picky decisions. They are pricey but for quality work, I believe you have to pay and in addition they are located at Mall (so the price doesnt surprise me)Thanks Lynn, see you soon

They do a rush job and are low on staff. The lady who started my nails told me one price and then left and did someone else’s pedicure. A guy had to take over and finish my nails, which he then said was a more expensive price. The eyebrow station is not up to par with COVID-19 procedures. I had to tell the guy doing my nails to wash his hands before starting on my nails, he’d just finished someone else’s feet! They’re overpriced and I would never go back here or recommend anyone.

I have come here a few times and have always gotten the man who works near the payment. He never fails to do my nails beautifully and just what I ask for. Each time my nails are a consistent $55 (not including tip) and its worth it. I only want this man to do my nails.

DO NOT! They rushed & wanted a TIP. Ha! I will never come here again! They are horrible & overpriced.

I called ahead and asked for prices. My nails were supposed to only be $45. Gel nail. With gems and a full set. $95 is what I was charged. All because the length of my nails and the shape. I will NEVER go back. They told me one price and gave me another. When I asked why I was charged that much she said it was because of the almond shape of my nails!!!!! As this was going on, another customer asked the girl for third coat of polish because she could still see the false nails under the paint, the woman told her that they only do two coats and she refused to do a third coat. The customer then told her she could stop what she’s doing because she’s walking out due to poor customer service. THATS when the woman agreed to do the third coat. they also are extremely rude and will stop doing your nails to do someone’s eyebrows. They are rough with your hands. I have burn marks on my fingers from the drill they used.

I will not be back to this place. $135 for a fill, gel polish, gel toe nail polish(I didnt ask for) eybrow and lip wax, my daughters full set and gel toe(again I didnt ask for) gel finger nail polish. I have been getting my nails done for years. Crappy service. Nails look like my 9 year old painted them. My thumb nail is bumpy, there are ridges everywhere in my nails. Nails arent smooth. Had paint on my skin... I also just want my eyebrows done but lady tugged on my lip hair and oh we should do this too wax was way to hot.. I have bumps now around my brows and lips... Will not be back and I probably will have to go somewhere tomorrow to spend more money to have this crappy job fixed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE .I stayed calm while the man working with my daughter snapped at her several times because I dont need a charge

Me and a friend got a pedicure today it was 51.00 each... wth and then the lady insisted on a tip. I feel so ripped off and taken advantage of ☹️☹️☹️

If I could give zero stars I would. I was walking in expecting a mediocre service. I basically paid $14 bucks (plus 2 dollar tip) for a horrible paint job. I can paint my own nails better than this. she didn’t even FILE OR CUT my nails. Or take care of my cuticles. I straight up told her it was a horrible service and I didn’t like it at all. How they survive as a nail salon amazes me. Also they keep trying to get you to buy gel; almost tried to trick my grandma who doesn’t speak English into choosing (for her) a gel red polish after I told Hem that we WOULD NOT be doing gel.

This is the ONLY place I will get my eyebrows done. They take their time and don’t breathe in your face. They do a fantastic job every time. They are also very gentle. Thank you!!!!!

I never give reviews but I felt this was warranted. I have used nail 1st many times and always had a good experience. This time was absolutely terrible! The nail technician was more worried about taking care of customers walking in the door than the one in her chair. She even stopped my pedicure to wax a walk ins eyebrows. I paid for a deluxe pedicure with massage and didn’t get any type of massage. I will never be back!

Worst service I’ve ever received at a beauty salon! They overcharged me and did a horrible job. The lady that was doing my pedicure also kept trying to getting me to have more stuff done that I didn’t want....There are better places out there, don’t waste your time or money here👎🏽

Had pedicure which was the best. Shortly after starting second girl double teamed to do my nails did not turn out very well. Gave foot girl $20 nail girl $10 felt I was being rushed out. They were not busy. The experience was $200.00

Great place to get your nails done: they have great service and are nice as long as the customers don’t give them a rough time. I’ve seen rude customers come in and give them a hard time because either they are just having a bad day or they just want a discount. They are really nice and convenient.

Went in for a $25 pedicure, the girl was in a hurry, hardly spoke to me and did my nails the wrong color, put a design on my big toe that I didnt ask for and didnt like. The gel color was done so thin that its already chipped at the top and I just got it done today. When we left they charged me $51.00 and insisted on a tip! I will not go again ever!

The worst experience ever!!! The lady tried to charge me 75.00 for a full set of nails!!! I didn’t pay that!!! I have never paid that for nails!! These people are crooks!!! They don’t even deserve one star!!! She did my nails to thick with the gel and there going to peel!! 😡😡😡.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have a usual nail tech that I go to at this salon who does a WONDERFUL job on my nails. I went in and she had just sat down with a customer so I had the SHOP MANAGER soak my nails off and do an overlay on my natural nail. She completely shredded my cuticles. She rushed through the process and tried to sell me everything under the sun the ENTIRE time she was doing my nails. I woke up the next morning and my fingers were literally THROBBING. I called to get a refund and I was told I would get a gift certificate instead. When I got there the gentleman I spoke to is nowhere to be found and the shop manager (who destroyed my nails) got into a yelling argument with me and told me the cuts were from the acetone, then tried to tell me I went home and cut my own cuticles. I am BEYOND pissed. I will NEVER sit in her chair again and I will make it my duty to let everyone know how horrible she is at doing nails.

I want this place out of business!! My sister had her nails done and now her finger is swelling. We did get a refund, but they continue to believe it’s her fault that we waited 4 days to see if the swelling would go down. We deserve a better place to get our nails done.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY AND FRUSTRATION!!! I just left 2 mins ago, NEVER again. ALL of my fingers are bleeding and they rush through everything. When I get home I’m cutting all of my nails. Please don’t come here, you could visit a garbage disposal and get more pleasant service.

They over charge a full set and pedicure was $115!!! For the pedicure I decided to go with they didn’t even do everything in the list, the lady cut one of my big toe nails super super short then didn’t even cover the whole nail with polish, they use the same wax for each persons feet disgusting. For my full set she had the acrylic start above my cuticles it looked like a 7 year old did my nails then when I kept asking her to fix the shape and get acrylic off my fingers and under my nails she got frusteratrd I finally gave up. Please don’t go here they need to be shut down !! Oh and they called security on a girl cuz she had too many kids with her after taking nail polish off one hand

Awful! Horrible! PAINFUL! Terrible! Really disappointed. After saving to get my nails done, they didnt know what solar nails were, I was totally over charged ($50!), the white part of my nails are longer than my actual nail bed, they are terribly crooked, the managers wife, who was doing my nails, said she had been doing this for 14 years...after she cut my finger THREE times! And let me just say, it hurts!The managers wife had to take nails of 2 and 3 times to get them semi-straight. I even told her several times that this nail or that one was crooked. Now, looking at them, I can see how thick they are; totally fake looking. Even when I did my own half-hearted attempt at acrylics years ago, they looked better than what I have on my fingers today.Listen, if youre reading these reviews, you obviously care about where you go. Take it from all the other reviewers here: DO NOT GO TO NAILS 1ST. Simple as that.

Horrible customer service. I asked for a fill on my real nails the nail tech put a thin layer of acrylic. When I asked for the acrylic to be thicker, she put it all down my finger. After calling her out about the sloppiness the lady got up and serviced another person. I asked can another person do my nails to defuse the situation. I was told, “no” and asked to pay 20.00 for unfinished nails. When I refused due to sloppy work and horrible customer service they called security on me. Moments later the police showed up and I left with unfinished acrylic and had to pay 20.00 3/11/18 this place is horrible and they don’t change wax they use for eyebrows and feet. I highly recommend you save your money and be serviced elsewhere!!!!

Dont even waste your money. My gel nails lifted after a week. Also the lady told me a different price while she was already doing my nails so there was no way to back out. Simple crooks.

Horrible experience! I needed to remove the gel from my nails as I needed to show my doctor damage under one of the nails. The lady sat me down and incessantly tried to sell me other services at the salon. Even though I would repeat my response not today, she continued to badger and was clearly upset that I wasnt spending more than $10 that day - the charge to remove the gel. These people will definitely NOT be getting any future business from me. Neither will there be any referrals by virtue of this post.

I went in for a set of gel nails. The first thing I asked for was the price and she named $35. However, she did not mention that it was an extra $14 to clean up the cuticle around the nails and an additional $25 for the color. She pretended like she was giving me such a great deal by saying shed do it for $50 total but she advertised $35 and led me to believe that it was for the full service. I couldnt back out by the time Id realized what was going on because she had already applied the nails before telling me the full story. Also she cleaned the cuticles AFTER the nails were already applied so right out of the shop it looked as if it had been growing out for at least a week. She glopped on so much product that the nails were SUPER thick and lumpy. I also noticed air bubbles in the nails only after I had already paid and walked out of the shop. My nails looked horrible as if it was a beginners DIY job - furthest from a set of nails that would be $74 full price. Moreover, the place did not seem to care for hygiene at all. When she pulled out the cuticle nipper out of her desk, I thought it was previously cleaned but after using it on me, she put it right back in the container and back in the desk - same with the nail file she used. It was disgusting to say the least. The service was not worth $50 at all, even if it was a discounted price. I am never going back to this shop and I am praying that I dont get some kind of a fungus.

Horrible customer service and my nail fell off the next day I got it done and she said they are not responsible for that. I have the entire nail and it’s not broken it just fell of. I’m done with this place!!!

The lady that did my nails was very pushy I think it was because they were near closing time.She reccomend me to get the gel so I inquired about the price she said after she was done filing my nails she would write it down.It wasnt until after she was completely done with my nail that she say oh its 40 dollars so it was like I didnt know what I was getting into there I choose color before I sat down with regular polish .she then proceeded to tell me that she was going to give me big discount.i dont think that was fair nor was it a good price for a fill in no design or gel just regular polish..Ill never go back.

I went for Gell manicure and pedicure and said I wanted same color for both - girl agreed, Manicure went well but for the pedicure, girl informed me they didnt have a matching polish for my toes unless I wanted gel, which is too expensive. I chose a similar color, but wasnt happy. Then I had to keep telling her that I had a broken toe and not to push or touch it, but she didnt seem to understand. Finally, she said I really need the paraffin wrap for my heels, which really made no difference. As a result, my cost of a gel mani and pedi was $90!!! The most I paid in Palm Beach County was $65, so I wont be going back there.

I was overcharged for the service I received. How can I know this when there are no signs visibly displaying the prices/services? Because I payed for gel nails and received acrylic. This was my first experience with gel nails so I didnt fully understand the process by which they are applied. I have had acrylic nails so I thought it was a tad sketchy that the process I watched him use was identical. I paid $45 for nails that should have been $25. Although they looked great, I dont like being lied to. & Im pretty sure the technician that did my nails was the owner so its not the kind of thing I can call to report because he already knows, he did it.

I went for a FILL IN on Christmas Eve, it’s now NEW YEARS EVE & my nails are lifting from the BOTTOM where it shouldn’t be if I went in for a FILL IN, as well as on of my nail on the opposite hand is already looking as if I didn’t get a FILL IN . I’m highly upset because I spent $35 just for a FILL IN and my nails look a mess and ready to come off already . Kenny rushed on my nails as if he was good at what he does . He didn’t go back in and file my shape or nothing he just asked if I wanted a cut down ...DONT GO HERE

0 stars for this place, omg shut the place down please. My fiance went to get a manicure and lady kept trying to up charge her also didnt do completely what she asked for and still was $45.00. Not only that I got my first pedicure here. The lady kept telling me to do number 4 on the list I kept saying number 2 ok so number 2 was for 30 min oh boy she was quick with it done before my girl and didnt even massage or cut hang nails definatly go somewhere else this is not the place for you.

I was misled on pricing and pressured the entire manicure to get additional services. I went to relax and it was literally like being in a high pressured sale. I would suggest getting any deals put in writing.

This place is very expensive. I will not be returning. The women were somewhat kind.

I work at the mall as well so, for me to get my nails done after work and not need a ride was convenient. The first time was sooooo bad, I got a pedicure they didnt puma stone it or nothing of course they didnt get a tip from me . The second time I went back to complain and they ended up fixing it. The third time I was desperately needing my nails done but the quality never gets better no matter how loyal of a customer you are.. with that ? I have a problem. If you live in Tallahassee, Fl or if you are visiting ... Go to J Nails .. on tennessee street . Look it up, the best service ever and they offer drinks / not alcoholic . I tip 10 or 15$ everytime .

Horrible! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL! I seriously want my money back. I have never been here before but needed to get my nails done (my normal salon was closed). I asked for SNS and all the employees repeated it back to me as if i wasnt saying the name right. I have been getting SNS, Nexgen, Dip...(whatever you want to call it) for over a year. Anyways, my nails were not shaped the way I asked, my SNS was not evenly done on my nail, some leaked onto my skin and to top it off she put a gel coat on top of the SNS. Now this happened to me once (gel coat on top of SNS) and the day after it peeled off. Once again, the gel peeled off. Initially when I first saw her doing this I was going to stop her, but I gave it a chance. WRONG! The next day I had to get my nails completely redone. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HERE! WORST $45 I EVER SPENT!!!!

Staff are pushy/aggressive and make rude comments about your appearance to get you to get additional services. The nail tech did ok on my manicure, but got extremely sloppy with the polish on my toes. I Will never use this salon again! She also make my cuticle bleed. 😤 I would give this place ZERO stars if I wasn’t forced to chose at least one.

I wish there was an option to leave 0 stars. I would never go back again! TINA rushed on my nails and the nail polish paint job was just horrible. Someone else had to fix it but even then it was not good. It hasnt even been two weeks and I look like Ive had this acrylic set on for over a month. To make it worse she got acrylic all around my fingers on my skin and even after asking her to clean it up she barely could do that right. They also either add a tax or already include a tip then ask you to tip again so pay attention to how much they charge you. Overall a horrible experience and not satisfied with the outcome.
