Ray, Betty, and Blaine, as well as all the instructors, are second to none.I watched my daughter come in as a beginner and turn into a confident young woman over the last three years. I have my 2 boys in Taekwondo, and both of them absolutely love it! They are so gracious with the kids and the kids are learning so much. The owners and instructors are so great and make everyone feel welcome. They have worked hard to make sure everyone is safe during the pandemic.

We joined the Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo family more than a decade ago. Our son was about four or five years old and we wanted to get him into something organized for the camaraderie and to give an another opportunity to socialize (not that he has ever had a problem socializing). Over the next ten years, he really flourished with the Marky family and classmates. I dont think there is a more kind, gracious, lovely small business in all of Florida. The Markys are amazing people that will protect your children, help them to become better people and offer great classes. There is no better option for martial arts and children in the Big Bend. Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo is perfect and youll make great memories like our family did.

Killearn Lakes Taekwondo is such an amazing place. Our son enjoys the classes and the instructors are phenomenal! Not to mention.... KLT was extremely adaptable when COVID hit. They seamlessly transitioned to virtual classes and virtual one on ones. They even did virtual testing. This place is truly amazing. We loved everything about our experience with Killearn Lakes Taekwondo! The Markeys are a wonderful family that make everyone instantly feel at home in the studio. My child really enjoys attending classes at Killearn Lakes TaeKwonDo. He has gained strength and coordination while learning an art from really good instructors. The school is like a big happy family.

Killearn Lakes has been and is a tremendous blessing to my family. The difference that weve seen in my son the last 6 months is an absolute miracle. Many days I walked in with tears in my eyes, due to the challenges we faced with my son. Not only do they work with the students individually for Taekwondo, but ensure they perform at home and the classroom. My son just earned his Orange belt and is well on his way academically and behaviorally!! The owners Mr. & Mrs. Marky are simply AMAZING! The instructors are no less awesome than the owners! My daughter started on her first day and she was nervous but they didnt force her. They let her participate at are own pace and they didnt charge us until she became comfortable enough to participate. Seriously there was no pressure to make our child jump right in. My daughter loved everything about class. I loved the principles and discipline they instilled....I even borrowed a few to use at home. Its a real family there so they are understanding and compassionate!

Have been apart of the Killearn Lakes Family for 7 months and I love it here! I have lost weight while learning a rewarding skill. I felt like part of the group from day one. Everyone is very encouraging and helpful!

We had an unfortunate event with my service truck catching on fire and the yoga staff and students at Killearn Lakes were so helpful running around trying to find the fire extinguisher (it was comical...now) We were able to get the fire out with minimal damage. Betty called us the next morning to check on us to make sure we were “ok!” We never expected the kindness and generosity that Betty has shown us. Thank you again Betty for being so kind to us in a time of need.

We love Killearn Lakes Taekwondo! My daughter has been there for about 9 months and is still excited for every class. This is more than an activity, they work to instill manners, confidence, and discipline into these kids, it sort of feels like I have a parenting ally. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Watching the kids is so much fun that I genuinely enjoy taking her and am disappointed when I cant be there.

Such a variety of work out options. I used to take Martial arts here, and I came back to the same family atmosphere and even tried out a jazzercise class, which was great (and definitely a workout, everything hurt the next day)

It is very clean, cool temp, and smells great and you dont always get with taekwondo or karate facilities. As strangers in a different city we were offered kindness and a great facility.
