I appreciated the care they provided me when the low tire pressure light came on and I couldnt get a reading from the tire stem on several tires as those stems were under the snap-on hub caps. They took my car in without an appointment and squared the caps for tire stem access and checked tire pressure. This is an awesome company and I trust their ability to properly service my car and are always courteous.

I took my 2005 4runner here for an A/C issue. I had an evaporator leak and it was bad! The thought of facing Florida summers without A/C was a daunting one that I did not want to endure. So I took it to The Tuning Point Advantage. When they told me that they were going to take out my entire dash, all of the electronics, center console etc I was sure that I was going to have to troubleshoot issues after the fact. When i received the Truck back THEY HAD DONE A FANTASTIC JOB!! If you have never looked at what it takes to replace an Evaporator in a 4Runner you may not understand why this is such a big deal! I actually received the truck back in BETTER condition than I turned it in!! NO PROBLEMS 10 days later!!

I have had both our cars and trucks repaired at the Tuning Point (mostly brakes) over the years and have always found them to be honest and fair. I just came back from the Tuning Point after having them check our cars brakes. I didnt suspect a problem, but based on the mileage, I thought it was time. They called back quickly after we dropped it off and said the car was done. When we got there, I was told we still had 89% of our brakes left and the charge was only $13 and small change. Its really great to have a mechanic that can be trusted👍Thanks Tuning Point!

My husband and I have used Tuning Point for over 20 years and they have been wonderful. Slowly, our entire Tallahassee family has changed from other auto repair places to Tuning Point because all of the other places they have used (including dealerships!) were not able to locate and fix various problems in various vehicles (ten or twelve different vehicles over the years.) Tuning Point has always located the problems and fixed them. Twice the problem was minor so they fixed it immediately and did not charge for their time. Their prices are reasonable. They are honest. They are friendly and professional. Everyone in our family loves Tuning Point, and at least a couple of us are difficult to please. Some of the Tuning Point Google reviews are negative, so I wanted to write this review to share my opinion. Whatever problems those negative people had, I strongly suspect they have similar problems everywhere they go.

Dropped my car off yesterday (Thursday 4/25) to have my ignition column/switch replaced after the key became lodged in the start position of the ignition. I spoke with Dave about scheduling an appointment. I was told Tuesday. I reluctantly made the appointment because of the need for the repair and would just find alternative transportation accommodations. I received a call around 1030-1100 from Dave today (Friday 4/26) saying my car had been pulled in and he would call me later with a better price, but he was giving me an estimate for now. The repair was made 4 days sooner than expected with nothing but courtesy.I pass by the shop on a fairly regular basis living in the area and decided to give The Tuning Point a chance to fix my car after a poor experience at another shop. First time visit, but definitely not my last!

If you have a car and are in the Tallahassee area, you MUST take it to The Tuning Point for all its servicing needs. The gentlemen behind the counter are kind and are glad to explain your cars needs and answer all of your questions so that you fully understand what is happening with your vehicle. Their prices are better than most other shops in town, they are honest and will help you prioritize repairs, and they do good work quickly. I only wish I had discovered this gem sooner!

Brake light came on. Took it to the Tuning Point. $3K to fix, but they pointed me to a service bulletin. Took it to the dealership. $1700 to fix. Pointed them to the service bulletin mentioned by Tuning Point. Turns out, covered under warranty due to a faulty part. $0. Thank God, and the folks at Tuning Point, or else I never would have known. I think I should take Tuning Point in Kilearn a thank you note.

Excellent service! This is where we take our cars to get repaired. We have gone to their shop for years. They are very honest. In addition, the waiting room is very clean and the car is always ready when they say it will be ready.

The Tuning Point has a very helpful staff and they will NOT sell you anything that you don’t need. The same can’t be said for other repair shops in Tallahassee. I will continue to go to them first for all of my vehicle repair needs.

I recently drove from Texas with my children to visit my parents. A low oil pressure light came on the next day and my father recommended me to The Tuning Point. I called Monday morning and spoke with AJ who told me to come drop the car off with him. After checking the car out, he told me a couple different ways they could fix it and estimates to repair my vehicle. They also told me repairs would be finished that day at 3:00. At 2:00 AJ told me my car was ready for pickup. The estimate was accurate and the work was finished on time. Much appreciation for the employees at The Tuning Point as I feel way more comfortable driving the 1000 mile trip home :)
