Broke down in my Jeep Wrangler on the way to Tampa. Limped the car to DTs. They could not have been more professional and taken better care of us. Quick, solid and correct repair at a fair price. Kept me informed and explained things in a way a novice can understand.

My Granddaughter has been going to Fla State U for the last couple of years and her first year there she had a problem with her Honda Suv and was recommended by someone to take it to D Ts Garage and I will say these people really care and take care of the students in that area .She has used them now for any maintenance issues as well as General Repairs and being her Grandfather I was really concerned about her being young and I was afraid she would be taken advantage of at any auto repair shop, but I have spoke to them about any problems she has had and I will bet my life that you cannot find a more honest and caring garage in that area .I thank them and wish we had them here in Tampa, they really do care and take care of the students there in Tallahassee .Again thanks Sr. and Jr.

Always loved the service friendly people dependable work on your car I wouldnt ask for a better mechanic

They charged me almost 1,000.00 to do a transmission swap. They did not install it correctly and it broke pump gear also broke transfer case shift motor. They made me pay full price on it and I had to pay another 900.00 to a transmission shop to fix it. The only thing DTs did was pay for tow to another shop and they replaced the shift motor. Ultimately $1,000 transmission swap cost me $1,800 to 1,900. Jr is nice and very professional he tried to resolve the problem. I dont recommend them for anything more than routine maintenance on cars.

What an amazing experience I had when I called DT’s auto mechanics and spoke to Christina about the issue my daughter was having with her car. I am over seven hours away from her, and then to my delight I had the pleasure speaking to The owner Mr. Eloy he explain what was going on with my daughters car and what he thought was the best course of action as to the repairs but he wanted my daughter to test drive it for a week and then if it needed what he was suggested he will then take care of it there was never any conversation at any time about any diagnostic fees or any charge at all.He just wants to make sure that it’s done right without any additional charges. In my 59 years I could honestly say I’ve never run into a mechanic that’s Honest He is looking to do the right thing for people. I called to make an appointment and Eloy (the son) picked up with Chik-fil-a style customer service. Upon my arrival Tina, the front desk receptionist, made me feel so welcome. Eloy repaired my vehicle, gave me so much helpful info, and I left feeling happy about finding a car repair shop that I can trust.

On my way from Fort Walton Beach to Orlando, my Tuscon started having trouble accelerating. I looked up Auto services and called DT’s garage; Junior answered and provided excellent customer service. I explained the issue I was having, and Junior was more than willing to help me out. When I arrived, they took me in right away and looked at my car. The owner, Mr. Eloy, was determined to find the issue; he took my car for a drive and noticed the problem almost immediately. Mr. Eloy and his team worked together diligently to get my car back to running smoothly and made it to Orlando with no more car issues :) . The whole crew was honest, professional, and courteous. Was in Tallahassee traveling and on my way out of town I stopped and checked my oil. The dip stick tube had broken away from the engine block. The people at DTs squeezed me in and fixed my issue. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. They gave me diffeerent options and walked me through what they were doing. Very knowledgeable mechanics. My Rav4 needed an alternator/belt and google recommended D Ts Garage Auto Repair to me. I called Friday morning and they said come on in. This was after another mechanic in Tallahassee did not return my calls and was overpriced as well. After I got there, they went over it and showing me the old belt and alternator, then they fixed my vehicle quickly as I waited. The mechanic checked the vehicle from front to back and I was treated like I mattered. I also asked them about some other problems and they did not charge me for anything extra. Most places try to sell extras or add-ons but they did not try to sell anything that I did not need. These guys understand customers and how to manage a local mechanic shop! All around trusting, good-natured team! I’ll never take my car anywhere else as long as I am in Tallahassee. Thank you!

Came to get work done on my car. They found the issue right away and fixed it. Yes the prices are a little high but they do quality work and its worth it. Its a shame that when I got back into town they were closed :( but what Im saying is take your car here. You wont regret it!

It is so hard to find an honest and good mechanic in town, but Junior and the team at DTs are the BEST! I love that it’s a family owned business; that’s just the cherry on top of an all around great experience, including a quick turnaround, and most importantly GREAT work. Update-Insane reply below from Junior, not Jeremy, my mistake. I was in last August and we havent spoken about any of the things you mentioned below. It seems you had another customer with the same issues! You most definitely told me my car WAS safe to drive and I had to request you to write down all of the issues with it before I left the shop to transfer it. Laughed In your face about my safety, do you always lie? No one offered a tow or repair my car because we NEVER spoke about the pinched O ring whatsoever! I had to go to another shop to find out about the pinched ring and fluid leaking everywhere! I already had decided dealing with you was worthless. This review is to let others know about your service but your reply shows me what a snake you really are. Also, telling a new customer that you understand their current hardship because your sister “has a lot of problems also” is not the way to handle someone that is chronically ill and grieving their mother. Much less the way my situation was handled in its entirety. Your sister that works in office is wonderful and kind though. I’m grateful she was nice although I was thrown off about not being told the fee ahead of time but she was kind, truly.Called the shop twice and asked questions before taking my car in for work. Was not informed on either call that they would charge a fee for looking over my car if I didn’t get the work done. This was a little upsetting but the owner told me he’s super reasonable and likes to help people so I trusted leaving my car there thinking they were reasonable and trustworthy. They looked it over and said my power steering line was leaking. It would be around $200 but should be fine after. I authorized the repair then the next day the other owner, his dad called me. His dad had to call me because he (Jeremy) didn’t want to tell me what else my car needed. The mechanic I entrusted with my vehicle (Jeremy) knew I’d be upset and didn’t have the guts to call me with the info and a new quote. His dad was harsh and asked me if I wanted the $800 of work done and that they may have to do more after but aren’t sure yet. I said I’m not sure but likely not, asked him not to touch the car and give me a short bit to figure it out. He said I needed to come get my car quickly then, it was almost 5pm (close to closing time) but he would wait until 5:30 for me. I’m disabled so driving isn’t always easy. This is one of a few things Jeremy, my point person, and I talked about. The dad then told me they would charge me storage fees if I wasn’t quick picking up my car. They just had finished a $200 repair and he wanted my car gone right away. The next day I had 3 calls before 10:30a. They wanted to know if they could do the work or I needed to pick it up. I said, “No, I’m coming to get my car.” I asked if it was safe to drive before and during pickup and they said yes. I drove my car to another shop. The power steering line that the dad put in had a pinched O-ring and the line was leaking everywhere. The mechanic at the new shop was shocked I was told it was safe to drive and couldn’t believe the line was put in with a pinched O-ring which my new mechanic then fixed for me. I got the other work done for less money and now I have a kind mechanic that I can trust! This all happened right after my mom passed and I was having a hard time. I truly thought Jeremy and the shop would take good care of my car but I’ve never been so let down and at the hardest time in my life! I wouldn’t even recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Beware!

We had to make an unplanned pitstop here on our way to Miami from Panama City and the mechanics were amazing Did a full diagnostic at no charge. Ran into some problems a couple hours later. Called them back to see what the issue was and they were able to diagnose the problem over the phone and let us know what needed to be fixed and how to fix it. Best mechanics and most honest mechanic shop Ive ever been too! I would bring any vehicle to them without a doubt and know that they will do a great job at an honest price! They are very professional and I cant say enough great things about them!

We were driving down from Orlando to head home back to Texas when our car started making a weird sound. We went to three different auto shops and all said there was something wrong but they never helped us fix the problem. We were lucky enough to have come across DT’s Garage where Christina was very sweet and was very quick to get help for us. They managed to have our car fixed within 2 hours and we are now able to drive at ease. The service was great. Mechanics were so amazing very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality work!

Wow! I am very impressed with the proprietor Mr. Martin. Sincere, professional, and genuine. I cant tell you the last time I spoke to a mechanic that had my best interest in mind. My daughters car broke down at the worst possible time when she was going out of town. Not only did he keep her car on his lot until she returned but then offered a solution to fix the problem that did not cost an arm and a leg. I highly recommend this garage. Thank you Mr. Martin!

I had been quoted various prices ranging from $250-$300 around Tallahassee for someone to look into my leaking sunroof. They said I needed a “sunroof service”. Mr. Martin offered to blow out the drains for free and it took him less than 10 minutes to have my sunroof draining properly again. He was polite and professional and offered me some advice on how to prevent the issue from recurring. Overall it was a very positive experience. I will definitely go here for future car repair needs.Edit: It had been 11 months since my initial visit and I have had two more very positive experiences since then, including them saving me about $400 on unnecessary work that the dealer tried to get me to do. I love this place and recommend it to everyone I know.

I called and asked were they busy and if they plug tires. They said come on in and yes we plug tires depending on the hole. I got there within 5 minutes and they seen me right away. Although the hole in my tire were not repairable, they were nice, professional, and recommended other places that may have been repaired but the guy judgement was spot on. I may were not able to use them but they were great people to meet.

Had a leak in my 2008 BMW X5 they were able to find and it and fix it. we had another company before finding DTs Garage and they were looking to over charge by going to a location where the leak did not exist.Great Staff and the best service in town

I was in Tallahassee evacuated from Hurricane Dorian and needed my vehicle’s radiator repaired. I called and left a VM after hours and followed up the next morning. GM Eloy Martin told me to come in and they got right on it. It was quickly repaired. I am very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend.

This happened maybe a year ago but while I was on my way to work I was having an oil leak and I needed help immediately. I went to one shop first and they said they couldnt help me since they were about to close. I went to D.T.s Garage and even though they just closed the owner filled my oil so I could make it to work. I came in the next day to resolve the actual issue. I was very appreciative of his generosity and I decided to come back to them for any issues from then on! :)

Went in for my A/C not blowing cold air. Ended up just needing frion and left the shop with cold A/C. Very nice and genuine staff. Did not overcharge or take advantage. I highly recommend this shop! I will be returning for any future issues.

Was referred to this mechanic by a work friend of my mothers back home when her daughter came to Tallahassee for FSU years ago. I can honestly say the people running this shop all together are great people. The mechanics are friendly and trustworthy. Also the receptionist has a great personality. Very honest company that you can count on! I came in for a routine oil change and to have my brake pads inspected, as I had been advised by a different mechanic at a different company that my brake pads were extremely thin and needed to be replaced. When I came to DT’s Garage, Kevin actually serviced my vehicle right in front of me and showed me that my brake pads were in fact NO WHERE NEAR in need of replacement yet. He inspected my car and changed my oil and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. It’s nice to have finally found an honest and reputable company who will not rip you off! Earlier this year, I purchased a 2003 Hyundai Sonata that didnt have AC, forgetting that the Florida heat would be unbearable in just a few short months. I promised myself Id get it fixed before the summer, so I brought it here to D Ts Garage.I dropped my car off early in the morning, and within a few minutes, the head mechanic had diagnosed the problem: a locked compressor with a cut wire. He explained that I would need to replace the compressor, and gave me a quote that included the part (compressor), necessary extras (freon), taxes, and labor. I gave him the okay, and left my car with him for the day.Within a few hours, the part was delivered and installed. He called me and told me that my car was ready (about 4 hours ahead of schedule) and that the AC in my car was restored! HALLELUJAH!What he quoted me was what I paid, and I honestly feel like I got a great deal! These people are extremely efficient and professional. If I ever need work done on my car again, I will absolutely be taking it here.

Elroy is an very honest, experienced manager/mechanic. I have been to several franchises in town--got bad tires at one and bad diagnoses at the other. He diagnosed my brakes right--the pads werent worn, the rotors were basically glazed. He found the flat spot on my tire, which he doesnt do tires, but he diagnosed it right for me. He showed me both of the parts and what was wrong. If you want an honest mechanic, hes a straight shooter.

It was funny I found d.t garage by accident looking for shops near me I loved the reviews and was curious. So I stopped by walked in the tech didnt water anytime helping me out a fuel issue is what I came in for but ended up getting a clutch adjustment that fixed my issue cause my clutch pedal had been havi g issues for a minute now next thing 25 mins later Im driving with a clutch pedal that feels brand new like Im in a new ride cant be thankful enough my service is coming back here anytime for problems with my car, these guys have some decades in the business.

I was driving from Orlando to Mobile when my car lost power, so I pulled over and try to fix it the best way I know. After being unsuccessful I towed the car to a Chrysler dealership, they informed me that they could not look at the car until Friday, so I towed the D.T.’S garage who diagnosed the car and told me what was wrong. They are honest and truthful. I will definitely take all my vehicles that needs any kind of repair to this business.

When having my battery checked out at a nearby discount auto place, the technician somehow tightened a bolt to the point where it broke off and inflicted damage on another part. DTs fixed the mess, ordered the new part, and charged me almost nothing for their time. They took the time to explain to me how it happened and gave me options. I really appreciate the above and beyond service and will be going there for all future issues!
