The staff at Celebrity were very responsive and transparent about my wedding cake design and costs. The cake was beautiful, delicious (got the champagne swirl), and the best for the price out of all the cake places we sampled! Even though we had to pick up the cake ourselves, it arrived at the venue without incident.

I’d give Celebrity Cake Studios a 10 star review if I could. The baker was so nice to work with and had so many great ideas for our cake. It was absolutely flawless and DELICIOUS! They have many different flavors and can do custom as well. The cake was delivered on time to my wedding and it was a major hit (marble eclair with butter cream frosting).

I visited here for the first time.I could meet various cupcakes and cookies. We ordered six different cupcakes to enjoy a variety of flavors.The bread was soft and sweet to my taste, so I drank it with black coffee.If there was an anniversary, I wanted to order a cake here.

Amazingly delicious Citrus Cake and equally good Red Velvet “succulent plant” cupcakes that I ordered for my son and daughter-in-law’s Baby Shower. Both cake and cupcakes were a big hit in terms of flavor and looks!

Okay! So I was very skeptical at first! You know!I wanted a two tier cake with decorations. Half Disney and half marvel!They stated they couldn’t do something’s due to copyright problems. I was okay with that.But then the prices ended up being $450...and I was like WHOAAA that’s way to much...So I decided to look for another studio. Well I couldn’t find one cause they were all booked up for the 4th of July. So I decided to call back on Wednesday! Knowing I was a bit to late! It was just an extra $75 just to get it done in 3 days! so I did it. I was still skeptical until, they opened the box when I went to go pick up the cake...AND WOW THEY MADE IT BEAUTIFUL!! I was expecting a lot less decorations from what they described over the phone.I spend $550 in total for everything! I got to pick what I wanted for frosting,filling, etc.BY THE WAY THIS CAKE IS 2 ft tall!!!!!!! Enough to feed 45 people!Thank you guys for this!!! Definitely earned my trust! I’m thankful I risked it with you guys!This is for my auntie & father they both are wonder twins! Born different years and on the same day!Can’t wait to show this off at the party tomorrow!!

I’d give 5 stars because the cakes are ABSOLUTELY delicious, but they are extremely pricey. My personal favorite is the blackberry vanilla cake, but I can only afford to get it about once a year due to the price.

They made an awesome cake for my sons birthday! It greatly exceded our expectations and wowed the kids and the parents.

Celebrity Cake Studio has made my wifes birthday cake for the past five years, and every cake has been a work of art and delicious! This cake has Chantilly cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting.

I ordered the pink champagne swirl (flavor) with vanilla butter cream (fillings) and white chocolate fondant and ohhh mannn, it was truly the definition of perfection. It was so gorgeous and absolutely delicious. I had so much compliments and all my guests were in love. Thanks so much Celebrity Cake Studio 🙏🏾💖✨.

*UPDATE** I was able to try another cake. This time, the Marble Eclair was recommended to me. This flavor was much better than the last one. The frosting was good and rich, the cream was not overly sweet. I still think there needs to be a little more filling between the layers- especially since it’s a good cream. The kids even liked this one. 😁. When I picked this cake up, we purchased 4 of the cloud cookies (two regular, one s’mores, one with raspberry filling)- which are shortbread and marshmallow enrobed in chocolate and decorated with swirls and sprinkles. The kids absolutely loved them. I think we will be back four Valentine’s Day to try the petit fours.I like that you can order online, and that they only need a 3 hour window- at least for their standard cakes.

Probably the best cupcakes Ive ever had. My wife and I had the hot chocolate cupcakes, Samoa, and lemon. Theyre high quality, super dense and so fluffy. The marshmallows on top of the hot chocolate cupcakes were definitely made in house and you could tell. Also, the staff was super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

I contacted celebrity cakes a week prior to my moms 60th birthday. I wanted to get her a custom cake, similar to something you’d see at a wedding. I was impressed, and s”completely a surprised at the quality of work done. It exceeded what I was expecting and to be honest the photos on their website don’t give them justice. They were responsive, professional and did it in a timely matter. I personally think it was worth every cent, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a custom quality cake.If you go into the actual store, they have a beautiful presentation of cakes that are phenomenal. After a 2 week search for my birthday (which is near Valentines day) cake in January, I was beginning to give up hope about where I was going to be able to request a cake. My roomie found this place when I asked for places that were owned by local community members! The pictures on the website were gorgeous and I thought for sure my idea for a FFXIV Zenos cake (I just love to love the villain!) were finally promised to come true! I uploaded a fanart that I had requested permission from the original artist. And they gave a few suggestions as well as uploaded a picture and I picked what colors and let the cake decorator decide! Because they do this for a living ! *(i used to work at a bakery decorating cakes but I always have choice paralysis.)Wow was I surprised!And the writing you want a piece of this although was suggested by a friend but also yes. I plan on having a piece of this every year from now on, lol.

Amazing customer service. I ordered a birthday cake for my friend. Was supposed to pick it up at 4pm. Was traveling from Bellevue to get this cake. But due to traffic I got delayed by an hour. The owner of the store (Mary Ann) stayed back to hand over the cake (after store closing time). Excellent service and yummy cake. Would definitely recommend this place.

Ordered here for the first time to check their cake. I set a schedule to pick up the cake but when I arrived,the cake was not ready and I waited. While waiting I ask for a sample but they ignored me, coz Im thinking of customizing/buying a cake here if I knew the taste of their flavors. When I received the 6 cake it was put in a white box but halfway opened and they just cover the rest a plastic wrap and a tape. Thats kinda funny thinking if you sell a cake you should be presentable and put it in a nice box. I dont mind if its a regular plain white box, I just want the cake to be fully covered/packed. Seemed they did not have enough box for the 6 inch cake?so as I travelled back home I needed to secure it since it was not properly packed. Upsetting. Im afraid to order it here again. The cake I ordered was okay, nothing special.

I had celebrity cake studio design my wedding cake. The staff was so helpful and willing to work with me on ideas and keep things within my budget. They truly went above and beyond. I just gave them a few ideas of what I was thinking, wanting to keep things simple. I was so pleased with the result! The best part was not only did the cake look better then what I envisioned, but it also TASTED AMAZING!! That was very important to me. I have been to countless wedding where the cake looked beautiful, but the taste was very dry. We can all admit that this is one spendy cake, so why wouldnt you want it to taste as good as it looks?? Yes, that store. if u live in east side tacoma, Im sure u have seen the purplicious store that stands out near Tacoma dome or station! You would be surprised how inside store is spacious n clean. then u enjoy seeing the products they make! I wasnt sure if they r all eatable because the details n colors r the art! Im usually not cupcake person. BUT, I am satisfied from my sight n tongue. my kid was so excited to get a unicorn n hesitated to eat a few hours!Parking: structured. There r tables n enough space to make space for stroller moms, too.

We had a 4 tier cake made for our big day. It was absolutely beautiful! We had our cake tasting with Sage- she was so pleasant to deal with. My husband and I are big skiers and I wanted a mountain themed cake but I was worried about it looking like a child’s birthday cake- sage was absolutely wonderful about designing a cake right in front of our eyes and assuring us it wouldn’t look cartoonish.A month before our wedding I came in to pay the final balance & show them our cake topper (from Etsy- to make sure it wasn’t to big or heavy on top). The woman I dealt with wasn’t very happy to begin with & when we went over the details of the wedding cake she made it sound a little different than what Sage & I had discussed months ago. I think her name was Mary. We left feeling not on the same page & not very confident.Our cake turned out beautiful! The carrot cake was super moist. A couple people said it was a little dry- you can’t please everyone but overall we were very happy!

Great cakes, even better cupcakes, and some top-tier decorating on top of it all. Not to mention the friendly and accommodating staff and a clean and professional place. Seriously, try their cupcakes if you get the chance, they are fantastic.

For almost 10 years we have used celebrity cake studio for all of our special events. The staff are friendly and helpful and the cakes taste as good as they look. Our favorites are chocolate cake, orange cake and carrot cake, although I seriously doubt there is a bad flavor. In the past we even had the need for a vegan cake which they were able to do, and it was equally delicious according to the non vegans. The design of every cake is beautiful. I always go in with a basic idea and give creative control to the decorators, and they go above and beyond every time. There is no better bakery, including all of the ones in Seattle. Everything from 1 cupcake or a single slice to a cake that will serve 200 is done with perfection. For as long as they remain in business, we will continue to celebrate all of our events with them.

Cake did not appear like picture. Ordered a birthday cake for 12yr old and the cake i picked up looked like it belonged in nursing home. It was so lackluster. I was caught off guard. My friends and I have used them before and were always impressed. I would have been better served at a grocery store. The cashier offered to take it upstairs and attempt to fix it, but it would take another 30mins. I declined due to time constraints. I am so disappointed, especially at this price point.

They made him the most gorgeous cake with clever retirement witticisms on fondant sticky notes – Hes very particular, but the result was exactly what he wanted!The decorations werent even the best part. The flavor of the cake and buttercream were out of this world. Im not a big frosting person myself, but it was light and just sweet enough, and went well with the to die for raspberry filling.Thanks so much, CCS! We picked up the DIY Unicorn Bunny cake for a fun quarantine activity. First, the smell of the cake when we opened the box was amazing. It made my 7 year old daughter even more excited to get started.The ingredients were top notch, the instructions were easy to follow, and they were going to do a live video with instructions to ensure success for everyone. I love this local small business doing what they can to brighten our community and innovating to stay relevant in this extremely challenging time.Kudos to you!

The custom cake I ordered for my daughters wedding turned out absolutely beautiful, it was delivered on time. This 3 tier cake was plenty for our group of 120, plus my daughter saved the entire top tier for later. The cake itself was very fresh and absolutely delicious!

This was such a cute little shop to visit. They had beautiful cupcakes, small cakes, and slices of various cakes to choose from. We choose carrot cake and Kona caramel. I liked the carrot cake the best. We ate in the studio at a small table and enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and heated room. They have holiday decorations up and it looks lovely. They also have a bathroom that is kept clean with a code that you can easily ask for.

I came upon this place accidentally, upon walking in the doors I was salivating. All the beautiful cakes the colors the elegance and the asst. Flavors. I decided to get a couple cupcakes. They are very expensive $5.50 each $15.50 per 4pk. I was excited to see they had pink champagne flavor. Orange Creamsicle, blackberry, lemon. It was hard to choose.. They really were beautiful, however, upon eating them they were not the best, when I think cupcake I think light, fluffy and moist. These were dry, extremely dense and flavorless. The frosting was sweet as vit would be expected but that wasnt near enough to get me to purchase again. I thought it may have been a cooking issue but the entire 4 pk was not tasty . I feel bad for this review but im very disappointed.

My fiance and I went here for a cake tasting for our upcoming wedding. The staff was so friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. I felt very welcomed and was guided through the unfamiliar process smoothly. THEIR CAKE WAS DELICIOUS! Consistency was fluffy, cakes were not overly sweet and were decadent tasting. Our personal favorite were the orange cream and the marble cakes. We ended up ordering our wedding cake from here and we are very excited about the outcome. Will update the review and add pics of the cake after our wedding!

I ordered one of their Carrot cakes its was 95% frosting . The amount of actual cake (both layers) was about a inch high, it is so much smaller then in the photo and they charged $8:00

I really hate having to leave a bad review considering this was my to go to place for birthday cakes and just simply dome good deserts bur this time i order a taste platter and when we went to go eat it all of the slices were old stale hard cake not any good i was very disappointed needless to say if yall have no problem giving customers old hard cake slices and taking thr money with no guilt i no longer will be ordering from here it was the best but not any more.

As beautiful as these cakes are my whole family was disappointed that they don’t offer ANY dairy free options. I’m allergic to dairy and many of my family members can’t have them. We’ve been going to celebrity cake studios for years but no longer can due to this. I want to be able to eat my wedding cake so I had to go through someone else. It would help a lot of people out if they started offering dairy free, it’s very easy to substitute for dairy free so hopefully they do soon so we can be customers again!

My Mom found this specialty cake place and then we tasted at the Seattle Wedding Show in 2019. I was sold! I had to schedule a personal tasting to make sure we tried all that they have to offer. They let us design our cake how we wanted – I even sent in paint swatches for a gradient change of color palette look and Pinterest inspired images and they nailed it. Our cake was so delicious and not dry (all my cake worries). They were a joy to work with and will be back for other big events in our life that call for desserts in celebration.

I ordered Marble mousse and for the 2nd time they give me the chocolate of the chocolate cakes. No thank you, but there is nothing I can do. Kids didnt like it because it was too rich. I dont recommend celebrity cake studio. They got busy and stopped caring. I choose quality over quantity. Pay attention to the finished product because they messed both my sons cakes up.

They made not just my wedding cake but also my bridal shower cake and its just simply above and beyond perfect!! I would think that a Minnie Mouse cake would be very simple to make but apparently not. The cake was only about 8 diameter and was supposed to serve 27 people buy seemed small enough for less than 10. My little sisters birthday party was left to a cheep Costco cake.

My fiance & I had our first, last and only wedding acake tasting here yesterday. While we arrived early and there was a bit of waiting, we were very pleased with our tasting and our consultation with Sage! She was friendly, warm and felt like one of my friends that Ive known for a long time! Sage was open to our ideas as well as very informed on what Celebrity could do for our big day! She even suggested mixing and match cake flavors and fillings (which is included in their cost, not additional) which made my fiance that much more excited! (He also ate all of the samples that we had left after tasting each) We walked out after about an hour appointment, paying in full and cannot wait to see what they do for our wedding day!

Cake was not moist, filling very bland. Horrible customer service, make sure to get everything u want in writing. Will never get a cake here again. Safeway tastes way better, more flavorful and much more correctly priced than this place.

I was having the hardest time getting a cake ordered due to other circumstances, so when I went to this place 4 weeks before my wedding, I was pleasantly surprised they would get me my cake at an affordable price and with no rush fee. I had to take an early delivery time due to my late order, but the owner himself brought it to the house for the wedding and placed it in the fridge. The cake was beautiful and, even more importantly, was delicious!! I chose the pink champagne cake with a fresh strawberry and cream filling, it was prefect. I almost went to a large corporate vendor but decided to give this place a look before ordering, so happy I did because they were comparably affordable and offered such a better flavor selection. Plus they do cakes for all sorts of events, so Ill be getting more cakes from them for sure. You wont regret getting your wedding cake them at all!

I tell everyone I know to get your cake from these guys. Once you taste their cakes you will be hooked. LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!!!! Check our their seasonal items like the cheesecake hearts at Valentines. OMG

I live in California and have been a long time customer of Celebrity Cake Studio. I always receive my cakes on time and packaged wonderfully. Their service is always friendly and attentive and their cakes are not only exceptionally beautiful, but also delicious. I would definitely recommend this bakery to all my fellow cake lovers.

When my husband and I first got engaged, it was important to us that we have a wedding cake that tasted as good as it looked. Thankfully, with a place like Celebrity Cake Studio in Tacoma, this was an easy item to check of our wedding to-do list! We scheduled a tasting (so many flavors!) and were able to sit down with someone to talk about what we wanted our cake to look like. I was amazed by the different ways in which the cake could be customized, making it as elaborate as you wanted! In the end my husband and I chose to two flavors (at no additional cost, I believe) and a simple design with a ribbon I could choose and bring in closer to the wedding day.I appreciated Celebrity Cake Studios attention to detail: as they were making my cake, they called twice to let me know that the ribbon color would change as it absorbed some of the oils from the butter cream frosting and ask if I still wanted the ribbon on, and to ask if I wanted to add the original color of the ribbon through additional detail work on the cake (again, at no additional charge). I trusted their judgement, and they did not disappoint! So many guests commented on how the cake tasted and looked.We had a wonderful experience with Celebrity Cake Studio, and would recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a cake for any occasion!

Dont listen to these inconsiderate people and their bad reviews, they probably envisioned something that wasnt possible. Celebrity Cake studio is by far the best cake studio I have ordered from yet. Ive order two specialty cakes from them and theyve both been very presentable plus delicious, and as far as price goes I dont see you finding a better studio with as much creativity for the price and effort they put into these cakes. Im having my baby reveal shower next week and I am again going to be ordering my 3rd cake from them!

Update: we just picked up our wedding cake this last weekend 10/3/2020 for a backyard wedding. They were so accommodating when we had to shrink our cake from 3 tiers to 1 tier because of COVID-19, and needing to elope instead of having the big wedding we planned. We got hand painted ferns on a tall hexagonal cake and it was absolutely the most beautiful cake I’ve seen. Of course I’m biased. All of our guests thought it was beautiful and delicious. We got chantilly cream filling with blackberry jam, and buttercream exterior. We will absolutely be back for future birthday, wedding, and even Christmas cakes. Everyone is extremely friendly and the quality can’t be beat.February 2020: We went for a wedding cake tasting and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We asked about possible fresh fruit options and they went into the back and whipped up a fresh fruit and chantilly cream cup for us so we could see what it would be like. We said it was okay but they insisted! We were impressed by the huge selection (we tried at least 8 cakes) and love the designs they had.The staff person, Sage, who helped us took her time explaining options, checking if she wasn’t sure about particular shapes and portion sizes, as we were interested in some hexagonal designs, and explained the possibilities in a way that we left knowing exactly what it would look like.We’ve gone to a couple tastings elsewhere but they did not even compare, and they were all nice. For those looking they also include an anniversary cake when you buy a wedding cake there at a certain size ( we are only serving 50 people ish and our order qualifies). We are definitely going to put an order in for our cake with this bakery once we confirm our guest count!

So delicious! I tasted a Celebrity Cake Studio Cake masterpiece for the first time on Valentines Day. The petit four and cake pops were so beautiful and tasty- the perfect combination! You cannot go wrong with their chocolate, carrot cake, or champagne. Plus- they have gluten free!I cannot wait to order my wedding cake from Celebrity Cake next year!

Could not recommend this place enough. Not only is the cake beautifully made, it was SO YUMMY! Im not a cake person and the vanilla cake with raspberry creme filling I had ordered was so tasty, everyone at the bachelorette party loved it. Thank you Celebrity Cake Studio!

They created the perfect cake for my daughters 16th birthday. I gave them an idea and a picture with a few changes I was hoping to make and they did. My daughter was extremely happy and it was delicious!! We will definitely be back.

Our wedding cake was perfect! It was exactly what we wanted and had discussed. Even more delicious than I recalled at the cake tasting. We will be getting a small replica for our 1 year anniversary, cant wait!
