Normally I enjoy coming here. Even when staff is in demand and only 1 cashier working it still isnt a bad place to go. But today....Miriam kinda changed all that. While checking out, she was on a call, on speaker with person on other end cussing up and storm...on SPEAKER!! Not only that but I bought some snacks that were crushed bc she was focused on her call she was just shoving items together in a bag. Her actions had me in such dismay, I actually used the wrong card on my purchase and it cost me more than it should have. As a customer service rep myself, Im surprised such actions are permissible. So disappointing.

There was a woman in there eithout a mask today coughing and a customer said sonething about it. The woman said shed out on a mask if they gave her one but the store only had masks for purchase. So, she continued to cough without a mask and was able to purchase her items. If theyre going to let people who dont have masks stay in the store, they need to give the people a mask.

Good store with nice employees. Too bad its so small. More & more people need these stores so they need help expanding

This dollar tree I feel is the best much cleaner than the other ones in Tacoma. You can always find name brand stuff and its by the mall

Terrible Store!!! MANY witnessed Cameron (spelling?) the ASSISTANT manager swearing at children and physically pulling items out of customers hands. Im not sure if he had a bad morning but treating customers in such a way needs to sent to higher ups. You should lose your job Cameron.

Its a dollar store.Great to check out for daily essentials before hitting a supermarket. I make them my first shop to hit when traveling to pick up those essentials I either forgot, or couldnt get on the plane.They dont have everything, but its a great start.

Their shelves were very sparce. Their cashier was wonderful. She called for another cashier but no one came. She had a line of about 10 people. Its the first time Ive seen it like that

Always crowded and never enough checkers .... Its terrible the lines they have and only 1... Sometimes 2 registers open..... They really need to modernize and get automatic doors for the entrance ... Parking is never a problem for me ... Everyone is wearing a mask and they usually have what I want and more ($60 that day and only went for 1 thing lmao) and the clerk was friendly ...

Always has what I need. Looking for artificial flowers to put on graves for memorial day and found red, white and blue roses and carnations.

I asked the cashier to pull her mask above her nose because all of the customers in the store were wearing their masks correctly and this employee was not and she said Not for your sake, no as I had my small baby in the cartThis was on register 1 at 12:54pm on January 30th, 2021. She was extremely rude and clear that she did not know how to display customer service skills or care about anyones well being.

The Dollar Tree has established a firm foundation in our economy in this difficult time. Supplying thousands of products, all at a dollar each. The items Are low in products but in todays economy, people are making things work... the Dollar Tree provide the needed Resort

As far as dollar stores go, this one was great! It was clean and tidy, employees were helpful and registers were well staffed. Out of stock on some of my normal items but dont think they can have everything all at once anyway!

It was fine. Not the usual selection. The store was clean. Everytime the lines got more than 3 deep more checkstands opened.

Who can argue with items at these prices? The staff is friendly. The lines can be long and the place can look a bit untidy. But hey who can argue with these prices.

This is the dirtiest Dollar tree I’ve ever seen. With the coronavirus numbers going up again, it’s important that all retailers have clean stores and practice effective disinfecting protocols. The local health department will be informed. Customers should not be put at risk like that.

I have a love hate relationship with the Dollar tree because everythings so cheap I think Im going to get in there and save money but because everythings so cheap I buy a whole bunch of stuff so it ends up balancing out I still spend the same amount of money but I do get more stuff like suppose! Works for some things not so much for others

I think almost everyone has the same thing to say about almost every dollar tree location...Messy, unorganized, and definitely lacking customer service skills.

I had an enjoyable experience, especially over Easter I found everything I needed. The staff were humorous and super friendly (other posts have put them down but I didnt experience that at all).

My fiance ran in there at 7:56pm, a woman standing at the door told her to make it fast, she only has a couple minutes because they close at 8. Next to the door they did have their hours posted and it did say open until 8, but we were there because it was incorrectly listed as a later time on Google and Dollar Trees website. My fiance mentioned that the hours on their website say theyre open until nine, to which she rudely snapped, well dont believe everything you see on the internet! My fiance turned around and got back into the car while the woman at the door glared at her until we drove off.I dont expect the best customer service from a dollar store, but come on...

I love Dollar Tree, I am only taking off one star because every time I have been to this one they have had long lines and not enough help.

That has got to be the dirtiest store I have ever been in. Product on the floor, racks a mesh where you cant find anything and the windows were filthy! Will never go to the Tacoma Mall location again! The manager should be ashamed.

Never any complaints about this place but one. Employees dont really know anything about their store. Saw someone walk right out with something and I told a checker about it and her response was. Not my store. I dont need to worry about the store losing products. Its only .99. I was kind of shocked to hear that.

Not my favorite dollar tree, but was as nice as expected. Selection isn’t as full as the dollar tree in Lacey or the two in Olympia. It was convenient the day I needed to grab some after school snacks

Great little shop where everything is....wait for it...$1.00. Well stocked with a wide and varied stock. The crew us friendly a pleasure to talk with. Fellow shoppers are entertaining to watch.

Well, one of the workers had no mask. I am a health worker and I would like him and other people who do not wear a mask to put themselves in our shoes to feel the fear that one gets from working in clinics and hospitals. The cashier did not change the disposable gloves when receiving money, I asked her to do so and she told me that they only gave her a pair of gloves.

I went in this morning and a visibly sick staff member was at the register. She was the only register open and was openly complaining about how sick she was. Please take care of your staff better and let them take last minute sick days without punishment.Another worker blocked off half an isle that I wanted to shop in and was sitting on the floor to stock items. She would not allow shoppers in to grab the items they wanted to shop for. The party section was full of full carts too. Seems like this goes against code or store policy. Seems like you should pay workers to come in early or stay late to cover stocking your store if youre going to stock whole isles at a time.

Shout out to the cashier Brook! She went out her way to find some word search books! I went in this morning to get some snacks and word search for my mom! I gave up looking for them books!! Lol so I went to check out! She asked if I found everything I needed! When I told her I couldn’t find any word search books, she asked if it would be alright if she stepped away to see if she could find any! And she did! She wasn’t gonna let me go home disappointed.. lol she made my day!! (Actually my moms day) but thank you for that Brook! Your the best! 🤗
