I have loved this place up until they started having problems with their matte black gel. I had to get my nails redone three different times because the GEL paint was bubbling and flaking off. They said it was something I was using, or doing. Even as the tech was repainting my nails hes making Comments about how the gel isnt sitting right, its moving around. But its my habits that are a problem, not their product. I go home, take a two hour nap (nothing else) and my nails have bubbled and peeled. But yes, its definitely me and not your product. Thanks, I hate it.

Tommy and Ahn are amazing artists. Sweet, personable, and technical. I have tried other shops as friends have recommended but return to here to fix what others have only destroyed. I love how healthy my skin and nails feel after a trip too Tommys.

Tommys wife did my nails today she is amazing. Both are very sweet and actually talk to you not like most shops. Im ready for the 4th now.

Prices vary to change for the same services visit to visit. Its a shame too cause the work is good. But I am not ok with fluctuations in price without warning.

It was my first time getting my nails done and I loved it I will definitely go back and they did my eyebrows which that was kinda painful but not bad at all

First time got right in nails done good was pretty fast.

So I went to another place but they were kinda busy. They told me its 30 min wait....I didnt have time so I walked outside and right across the street was Tommys Nails. I went there and they took me in right away. Kim was very nice and hooked me up. I love my nails. These guys just gained another customer. They must do good pedis they were full and people were waiting. Ill findout next week.

Amazing! My mom and I walked in and we both got manis. My mom got regular polish and i got gel. We were out in about 45 mins with no wait time. We also got my nephews nail cut. Kim was amazing. And it was pretty cheep. Will go back when at my moms and needing my nails done!

I am very happy with the exceptional gel manicure that I received from Tommy. Very nice and personable! Was so easy to converse with him. If I ever get my nails done again in Tacoma I will for sure come back here

Its literally the best nail salon in the Lakewood area not even over exaggerating. This is the only place where you leave with your feet, nails, and eyebrows done correctly. I leave out with what I want every time. They mingle with you the whole time. its honestly a very welcoming environment + they dont rush their work, but yet your out in a decent time. I would recommend to make an appointment, this place stay busy with a line but walk ins are welcome. Thanks tommys nails.....

Great service! First time here and the quality is perfect!

I got a pedicure and full set of nails put on. A week in and they are lifting. The lady who did my nails doesnt know anything. She gave me an infection from ripping the bed of my toenails out. My nails look horrible. I will never go there again. So mad.

I love the way Kim does my nails, but hate when her husband Tommy does. When it comes to removing the dead skin around your nails/cuticles, he barely does it. I constantly wash my hands at work so even if I get my nails done every two weeks, I always have A LOT of dead skin to remove. He’s the only person that has done my nails & barely removes any dead skin. So even though your nails are freshly painted, it still doesn’t look clean due to all of the dead skin he didn’t even bother to remove. I will never be going back here because I’ll have a 50/50 chance he’ll be doing my nails & I don’t want to risk a half ass manicure.

They were too busy talking in their own language to each other. The one I had managed to cut me not a little cut and nowhere near the nail either

I asked to get a fill and a pedicure, I can clearly see my fill on my French tip nails, lifting began a week after I got the fill, and because my nails werent prepped fully I look like my grow out varies from nail to nail. Never got the pedicure, they started seating clients ahead of me that walked in end of my fill service so they had no room. Paint wasnt bad but since my fill is so blatant it cheapens them.

Went to get my nails done, after telling them I will be back later,walked in wasn’t notified of wait time but was acknowledged.... so I waited about an hour and just walked out..put a dent on my night honestly
