They serviced My 15 year old Mini Cooper. Very efficient and advised me about work that may be needed in the future. It is a family owned business and very friendly staff. Their total bill was reasonable and within the price range that I expected.

Went there for a pre buyers inspection, on went date on 03/16/2021. Upon completion, the mechanic assured me the vehicle was in great condition. He mentioned the only Thing he would recommend is I have the car serviced for oil change, and coolant flush, and sparks plugs, he stated which is common on cars with similar miles. He also recommended I replace the brakes. Front brake where at 40 percent. And rear brakes where about 10 percent. Based off the recommendations from this mechanic shop, I had the oil change and flush done with the dealership in which I was buying the vehicle. And I brought the vehicle back a day later to have rear brakes replaced at this shop location, as the shop advised. The shop completed the brakes, I also asked if they could check the fluids (coolant/oil), and make sure everything was Changes according. They assured the dealership did change the fluids, and assured me everything was ok with the car. I relied on what I thought was the expert / experience of a mechanic shop before proceeding with the purchase, because up Until this point I hadn’t bought the car yet. I was waiting to buy until the vehicle was cleared by certified mechanic. A couple days after the purchase, I noticed car over heating, and draining coolant, which auto zone scan tool diagnostic as a faulty thermostat. When I went to this shop for this issue, i Was advised by the machine the car had a blown had gasket. I Was charged for another inspection, and they didn’t even complete the work and change the thermostat like I asked. I wasn’t going to pay for a head gasket lol. And all, The car didn’t have a blown a head gasket. Thermostat was fixed by a different mechanic auto repair shop. Car works like charm. Just out 300.00 to be told false information by these guys. That’s Like going to doctor for a common cold 🥶 and being told it’s cancer smh. Lol, just to find out you don’t have cancer smh. Very misleading practices. Shady way to do business. Definitely won’t be back. Consumers beware!

My family and I have been using A&E for all of our automotive service and repair needs for many years. Anything from oil changes to major repairs, A&E is the shop I always call and refer friends to. They are honest, professional, and provide excellent quality work at an exceptional value. 10/10.

Best car repair place Ive ever been to. Not only was the repair faster than expected but the added bonus was that it was cheaper than expected. Most definitely my place for car repair from now on. Plus the people are super nice.

Work was done on time but salesman who arranged the repair got the city we were coming from wrong twice. Almost had to reschedule but at last minute, they were able to work is in. It was a long drive from Forks. Wish the dealership could have arranged to have the work done closer to Forks.

It was my first time working with A & E Automotive Repair and I was impressed by their level of care and attention to detail. They even stayed open a little late for me so I could pick up my car. Would highly recommend.

I went to this place for the first time with my old Dodge camper van. They took great steps in keeping me informed of what it needed and costs. The work was all done in a timely manner. I think they have a new regular customer. I like supporting the smaller local businesses. This is a very friendly shop. I would recommend them if you need some car or RV repair. If you want something fixed and done correctly A and E is the place to be. They have been around a long time. A lot of the dealers ( New Cars Included) up and down South Tacoma Way bring their hard to diagnose problems to Rick. So if you have a broken shock that needs replaced or some repair that someone else has quoted you lots of $$$ to maybe fix. Dont gamble... Just take it to Rick and Company they will be thorough and fair. (p.s. I work for a large dealership and they do all my work on my personal cars) (12 months later) Just left A and E again. They did a front brake job on my wifes car. I was on limited time and had to wait. 1 hour in and out. They knew I was coming. The parts were already there. Thanks Rick and Lisa. Nobody does it like you guys do!

I cant imagine taking my car anywhere else! Hard working people that understand you work hard for your money, they always charge me far less than anyone else in town quotes me and explain to me exactly whats going on with my vehicle in a way I understand. If you want a good deal and the work to be done right the first time then bring your car here!

A&E went above and beyond to see that I got the service I needed at the price I was quoted. Fast, friendly service that make you feel like youve known them all your life. I will definitely become a regular.

This place is too expensive and doesnt know how to treat their customers . I paid for a diagnostic test and they made me buy the part I needed. I took my car to them because it wouldnt start. They said if I get a new battery it will start. After I got a new battery it wouldnt start. Dont trust these guys and they wanted to charge me $1100 just for spark plugs and coils. I wouldnt go here if it was the last place in Tacoma.

Had some work done on my car by these guys In January got a check engine light, relating to what had been fixed previously took it back and what was causing and error they fixed it and I was out the door in no time and wasnt even charged for the diagnostics or repair they did, I am now a customer for life keep up the honest and great work guys.
