I cannot say enough great things about Bristow’s! Moved to WA a month ago and drove my 997 2k miles and needed my clutch replaced and Bristow’s was the only shop that was able to make my tight timeline. My service manager Jordan was such a pleasure to work with; he was professional, very knowledgeable, did a lot of parts research and even contact previous shops that worked on my car. Jordan called me everyday my car was in the shop to give me updates and even sent an awesome digital inspection sheet that was so thorough and detailed it even impressed my mom! Even though the shops a bit if a trek for me to get to, I’ll definitely be bring my car back for future service.

I took in my Audi Q5 into Bristows and from the beginning, I was getting quality customer service. Jordan was the representative that helped me throughout the entire process. He sent me email updates, text updates, and when things were a bit harder to explain, he would call me regularly. My car repairs were very extensive due to an oil leak caused by another technician hired somewhere else that caused more damage. The team at Bristows (Emmanuel, the mechanic) were very thorough and walked me through everything that was going on. I was given detailed descriptions of the entire process. I was a part of the decision making and was given expert recommendations a long the way. I felt so comfortable leaving my car at this shop and I felt truly taken care of! The owner even sent a follow up to make sure all is going well, which was a nice touch! If I ever need any more car repairs, they are def going to be the first call I make! Thank you again!!

This is the place you want to take your German and Asian cars!! Best place in town! I had my mini cooper break down on the side of I-5 one day, and had to get it towed to this shop. I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciated their honesty, and transparency with my car. From the very first phone call to the finished product everyone working at Bristows did an amazing job on my car. Jordan and Chris in the office kept me up to date with everything they were doing on my car and any issues they found they immediately consulted with me before moving forward. The techs that worked on the car were extremely precise and replaced all worn parts and made the car drive like new. They lowered it an inch and the alignment tech was able to put it back into perfect alignment, which I’m sure is not easy on an all wheel drive Porsche. I called to request a pre-purchase inspection for an Evo. They were able to squeeze me in later in the week and check it out. The sent me a really detailed, comprehensive list of everything about the car with things that looked good, things going out, and things that need immediate attention. Afterwards, they gave me a call to walk through the inspection, any red flags, and their thoughts on moving forward with the purchase. It was all really helpful and a great service. It even gives me a great list to start with regarding working on the car. The guy I spoke to on the phone (wish I recalled his name) was very nice and answered all my questions. They seemed genuinely interested and excited about checking out the car. Would recommend to anyone looking for a PPI! It was about $250. I live in Bremerton, but definitely would consider driving down just to take the car to them!

I was a bit concerned going in because I’ve had bad experiences with auto shops in the past, but these fellows were absolutely lovely. Very positive people, and very straightforward with pricing and details that may shift ahead of time. I needed a headlight fixed, (one of the ones where you have to take the bumper off to change the bulb) and they got it done for me ASAP, and were more than pleasant to chat with as the work was finishing up. And! They give great advice, I tried some tips they offered to cheaply buff my headlights and it’s sooo much better than it was.In any case, I’d give ten stars if it was possible, but alas I am stuck with five, so five is what they get. Definitely will be returning for future auto needs!

I took my car into Bristow’s to have both motor mounts and transmission mount replaced. I got the car back the same day, good as new. They even put air in my tires as a favor. Jordan was very straight forward, and also explained everything to me. He gave me some useful information as well. I highly recommend this shop and I will be doing business with them again in the future.

First and foremost, I was treated rudely during my visit here. I was trying to explain an issue I was having with my BMW headlights. My car has a very specific style of headlights (HID) and the projector is known to burn out on that particular model. The old man I spoke to insisted that my bulbs were blown out and that the projector would have no effect on this. My bulbs work fine, there is just no projection of light. I could hardly get a word in. Dont call yourself an expert on foreign cars when you dont know what youre talking about.

Bristows understands cars in a way you cant always find these days - innately and from experience, not just by following the repair manual. You can trust them with anything from basic service to complex custom builds, including modified and track cars. Theyre honest, dedicated, and excellent to work with. 10/10.

I have used them for years as the go to for my business. Down time and poor diagnosis would be very bad for me, so, I use Bristows because of the level of expertise they bring to diagnosis. Their shop is actaully a bit a drive for us, so, that is saying something. They have worked on our Mercedes work vans, my Audis, BMW and VWs and did some amazing work on my Ariel Atom

You shouldnt have the term classic automobile repair in your description, and then when I call you up, you dont work on a 1960s Chevy. I definitely recommend you omit that you fix classic cars from your business description.

After taking my CLK 350 to several shops including the dealer regarding an evap system problem that kept triggering my check engine light, I came upon Bristows. After speaking with Jordan by phone I felt these folks had the experience to diagnose and fiqure out what the problem was. Through trial and error thats exactly what they did, all the while keeping me informed of what was going on. Excellent service at a fair price. Definitely will be back.

My husband took my BMW for a few repairs. The quote Bristows gave us was very high so we only had the must do immediately work done. We felt like they tried to pressure us into getting all the work done which made us uncomfortable. The same day we picked it up from Bristows we took it to another highly rated BMW specialty shop to have the work done and it was HALF the price. The other shop was AMAZING and the prices fair. If I wanted to pay dealer prices I would of taken it to the dealer.

These guys know Porsche. They have been providing Service for my 2008 Porsche Cayman S for several years and keeping it running efficiently. I feel confident that when I take my car on the road it will perform as expected. Before service is done they explain what is to be done and if the car needs additional work they inform me and explain in terms I can understand. I thought their mitigation techniques for Covid -19 helped me feel better when dropping off and picking up my car for recent service.

In addition to doing a great job; Pete and his team are extremely client focused. The time they take to ensure they understand what is needed and then performing the work is second to none. Additionally their communication and follow up is great. Highly recommended.

Mass Air Flow Sensor Went Out On My C240Engine diagnostics was perfectSaid I would be complete by 4 actually got it at 3

I brought in my BMW convertible to get its convertible top fixed. They diagnose the problem yet had my car for a couple months. When they sent it home with me they told me not to open convertible top for 3 weeks I said okay. The day that I did open it it still didnt work right so I brought the car back up to the shop. They then told me that it was a whole different problem and they wanted me to pay another $1,200 and I said hell no! So Chris said he would take care of it and they would call me when it was fixed. They called me another few weeks later I brought the car home and it worked. Ive had a few other issues here before and it seems like they dont check their work before they send the car home fixed. I had the brake lights and tail lights fixed and they called me and said my car was fixed and I Pop the trunk when I was up there to look at it and there were wires hanging out all over the place in the trunk and I was like what the heck is this? And they said oh he must not have finished it yet. I dont know about this place. I still might go to them but only if I have to.

I had called them on Monday explaining the issues I was having with my car. They got my car towed in the next and diagnosed it with in an hour of it getting there. They also had the repairs done quickly the next day. The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this shop and go back for repairs/maintenance.

Ive used them a few time for car inspections. Brought my S2000 to them in about 2014 to ensure my car was ready for its first track event. Also had them do a PPI on a Porsche. Very thorough. Good communication. Seem to be honest and looking to give the customers the most value for service. Recently brought our X1 in to diagnose a recurring engine malfunction and check engine light. We dropped it off late afternoon, the car was ready by late morning the next day. Quick diagnosis and repair of turbo waste gate related problem. Final price was lower than quoted due to quick diagnosis and not replacing accessory items that werent required for repair. Definitely recommend Bristows. Plus lots of beautiful German eye candy to view while at the shop.

First time at Bristows and Im sold. South Tacoma Honda mis-diagnosed my Ridgeline as needing a repair that Bristows discovered was not needed. Instead the Bristows repair was 1/3 what the dealer estimated and it fixed the problem. And they explained in far greater detail what needed to be fixed and why. They are thorough, knowledgeable and fair. Exactly what you want in auto repair.

I called the shop to get pricing on a diagnostic on my vehicle, I first spoke to Brian to get information. He was polite and courteous and was knowledgeable when asked questions about my vehicle model. Which made me feel confident that this was the place to get my car check. When I brought my vehicle in I spoke to Patrick who was also very knowledgeable. Later on in the day Patrick called and explained the results of the diagnostic in great detail making sure I understood everything. After letting him know what work I wanted done, they began work on the vehicle. Patrick gave me a call half way thru the process just to give me a update on whats being done and offered suggestions. Im very glad to be able to say that I got back my vehicle in great shape the same day and for a reasonable price. Oh and by the way they did offer me a military discount which is an awesome way to make a vet feel appreciated. I had Bristows repair my HID headlights in December and their service was fantastic. They we able to get me an appointment right away and even had a nice women who drove me home (and offered to pick me up when repairs were done). Their prices were reasonable and they worked fast.They even inspected the rest of my car after repairing the headlights! I love that my repair is covered for 2 years/24,000 miles. I will definitely be using their services in the future and have already recommended them to friends and family in the area.
