Apt 2104 Building 21 (March2020-June2021)1232$ +50$ cat rentIn unit washer dryer about 700sq ft subterranean floorFor a one bedroom I found this place pretty great, corners were definitely cut in the interior and the staff due to covid never came to fix our intial issues, but hey we found a way to make it work with a little hole under our cabinets that our cats snuck into and rummaged around. The front desk staff was relatively pleasant. Nice people friendly attitudes and such, but I think they were good listeners rather than people who took action... I felt like my issues were heard and well received, but when it came to getting things addressed and fixed... they kind of lacked... overall I was happy with their service since I knew nothing really seemed in their control anyways...Maintenance staff on the otherhand, I appreciate your hard work for the septic tank or sewer, you guys worked hard on that for what seemed like a week@_@ In terms of your handyman skills some of yall need to invest in some stud finders... or maybe Mission Rock needs to give you guys some better tools to handle the jobs... putting in a closet shouldnt be a 2+ month endeavor with a couple failure fixes... and then in the end having us be the ones who fixed it... we bought nice brackets by the way theyre definitely in the stud... I marked the location for the sixth bracket if youre interested in adding for extra load support!Now to my favorite, the water fowl community. Boy am I gonna miss those geese and ducks. I got names for pretty much all families.. and Ive studied their heicharachy as well... it was sad to experience the loss of all the swans ... definitely in the way they went out.. but I fully understand why and im sure they are thriving! I apologize to the new tenants btw.. those geese might be extra pushy with you if you exit out that sliding door! If you want to feed them, try to look for feed with no shells, they dont process those that well@_@ (No Waste Seed). Boy did I get some amazing pictures of the wildlife that came to visit though. I will always treasure living at Lakeside Landing just for that reason alone.Furthermore, the walkablilty was pretty good, but definitely prepare to be dodging geese/duck droppings while walking, the grounds keeper could maybe try to keep up with the litter/debris of branches and trash better... but not sure if they actually have a grounds keeper to keep track of that kind of stuff... I always ended up pulling trash from the water and grounds myself on walks or when i saw it from the patio. But overall the complex was pretty beautiful, lots of wildlife to appreciate and some nice lush grass in just the right places!FYI I got married while living in these apartments and we bought a house and that is why we are leaving. Moving onto hopefully bigger and better things, but overall I am satisfied with my experience at Lakeside Landing and I am so glad I won that Rock, Paper Scissors game with my At the time Girlfriend, now Wifey, on what apartment we would move to after we left our last mold ridden apartment complex@_@Thanks for everything!(All photos taken at Lakeside Landing)

Victor was very understanding and helpful throughout the whole move in and touring process. I had just been scammed by the Boulders in UP and was happy to find out management team was local, honest and very transparent. Thank you! My kids and I very happy here.

This place is great. They acknowledge all complaints, the maintenance guys are super friendly, and the management is very polite. I love it here. It is so peaceful. It is really an amazing view and my cat loves seeing wild life. Thanks for being great guys!

We moved it right before the start of quarantine because we needed a place to live right away. Coming in we really had no idea what to expect. With Covid, all amenities were revoked and our rent price continued to be the same despite the fact that we were touted how this place is built around the amenities. The price of the apartment varies depending on the market which has infant GONE DOWN due to the pandemic yet our rent was locked in prequarantine market prices. The unit itself is not too bad, it is well taken care of and cozy. The water heater is TINY and only works for about 10-15 minutes depending on the day. Whats lovely about this place is ots general appearance, especially near the front and by the office. We got stuck at building 18 which is overcrowded compared to the front of the property- you can clearly see they have excess space and LOADS OF PARKING yet where we are, it is cramed with many buildings and not enough parking. We learned after we moved in we had to pay $15 per month per parking spot to reserve or we would have to park on the other side of the apartment complex!!!! Where we are crammed is the DIRTIEST part of the complex. Management added valet garbage pickup and yet this place is always scattered with liter and trash, it is utterly disgusting coming home from work all day to see the swans EATING TRASH! Knowing we pay over $1600 for a 900sq tiny apartment with paper thin walls and all this other annoying irritants is so tiresome. Signing 60 page lease and bending over backwards to sign Our oldest sons life away for this tiny apartment in trashville. Not to mention our laundry unit is now completely useless. Vendors from private companies fix maintenence issues yet for over a year they have been telling us the vendors just dont show up and now we cant even use our laundry room and have to walk all the way down to the main office area where- surprise- the laundry room is full of working machines, is Actually very clean and they even have a folding table for clothes where our trashy laundry room is always littered and trashed. I really feel we didnt get a great deal moving in here and would literally get a house with a fenced yard for the same price we pay for this Teeny place. Mission rock sure needs a new mission because making a place just look nice from the outside doesnt change the needs on the inside and the needs of the tenants. Im sorry, theres nothing I can do isnt good enough when I am busting butt to pay you $1600+ each month.Upon doing some research it looks like Mission Rock had promoted a few of their executives. Thats pretty interesting how the company whoanages over 27,000 units in 16 states has the financial ability to promote their executives into higher paid positions to better the company meanwhile we literally cant wash our clothes in our laundry unit 🙃

My husband and I really wanted to live here. The staff that I interacted with was great the grounds were gorgeous. I went in and was told 3408 was $1275 (not including utilities). I decided to apply online because my husband was at work and we wanted to just submit everything all at once. She shows the unit to me online $1275 for 3408 and I leave smiling. (Customer service was super awesome)My husband gets home from work at 9 and we go to apply and the price in now pretty well over $1300. The next day it’s up again.I look today just to see and the price for 3408 2 bedroom 1 bath is now $1456. On top of utilities would make it around $1500.Kind of a not cool thing to do to people. No thank you 👋

Moved in a week ago, absolutely love the community so far. Staff has been amazing, especially Jeff with maintenance and Elizabeth and Jason on leasing. Very friendly, great with all of your questions, etc. We particularly love the dog park, lake view patios, and upgraded unit we got.

A unique apartment complex in Tacoma due to the park-like setting and interesting floor plans. The grounds are very well maintained and the apartments are in great condition. Elizabeth was a phenomenal leasing agent and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

Family live here. Great pond in the middle. K side looks great. Nice small dog park as well. And gated.

This is a really amazing complex, I loved living here. Everything is nice and quiet, and the staff always do their best to keep everything clean. I stayed here for a year and moved because I wanted to be closer to my job, if not I would have stayed here another few years. The staff is really friendly, especially a female named Shayna Foley. I really enjoyed living here.

Our leasing agent Elisabeth B. was great!!!! She really made us excited about our entire experience. None of the other apartment complexes in the area delivered hospitality or service like Lakeside did. We were even planning to rent from a different complex at first, and we are so glad we met Elisabeth.We can not thank her enough for helping us get into our new home.Sammy & Logan

Im not sure why this place gets such a bad rep. For me, my husband and our two pups it has been great. From what Ive read, the bad reviews have came from things that are clearly stated in the lease, or management, whom we have never had an issue with. We love the little dog park and I use the gym often. This is our first place so I cant compare, but it suits us just fine!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My husband and I have lived here fairly peacefully for 8 months until a run in with the management. Trying to solve this issue and come to a compromise, I was yelled at by the PROPERTY MANAGER, told that I WAS BRING DISRESPECTFUL to her, WHILE she was yelling at me for asking her to not interrupt me as I talk. Also was an issue by multiple people in the office. Anyways had to hang up while being yelled at before I could even say most of my piece. Will not be renewing my lease. Also they just missed out on EASILY 10 new renters, friends and family of mine, that will not be interested at all after this incident. This place doesnt care about their tenants, theyre lazy, and would rather everything be about their convenience and benefit, not the convenience, benefit and SAFETY of their community. WHICH IS WHAT YOU GET PAID TO DO! There is a reason that this place has less than a 2 star rating. LISTEN TO IT. Do not move here!EDIT: by the way, I called the management company for this apartment complex. I told them I did not want to speak to the property manger, I wanted to talk to somebody at their office. A day later the property manager called me and treated me the way she did. Negative Star Review. Youve been warned.Buyer beware, if your looking for an apartment to rent stay away from Lakeside Landing. The staff behind the desks are more than happy to sign you to a lease but after signing on the dotted line thats where it ends. The interpersonal skills that any leasing agent should be required to have when dealing with the public as a whole should be a top priority. Tenants voices are not being heard. When a complaint arises your voice will land on deaf ears (and with serious side of unprofessional attitude). I was constantly being interrupted and spoken over. Be it in person in the office or on the phone. And yes, they will hang up on you if you resist their attitude. Be ready to hire a lawyer to represent you. Otherwise, you will be deemed a nuisance tenant and will be treated as such.We just sent an email to the management teams listed on the OFFICIAL Lakeside Landing Apartments WEBSITE and they were just returned to our inbox as blocked. Permanently blocked. Kind of looks suspicious? It is. We then contacted the corporate office in Denver it became clear that our Little Lakeside Landing was trying to hide tenants complaints. I hope that this comment will provide sufficient warning to other unsuspecting future tenants. This comment is not for leasing agents at Lakeside, its for the people who might be looking into renting here. I wish I would have headed all the warning I read online. The reviews say it all. Its up to you to listen or not.

Decent apartments, especially if you get the newly refurbished ones. Gated complex. Easy access to TCC, Hwy 16, University Place, Fircrest, etc. Management team was good. Especially Melanie!! Helpful, friendly and understanding! Great customer service!! If you need an apartment in that area, these are it!!!

I just moved in a month ago and I love working and living here. One thing I really enjoy about living here is the Lakeview. Im my 2 bedroom loft and the water relfects into my apartment from my windows, which is really lovely at night.I love my vaulted ceilings and skylights. I use my space for art inspiration and music, I love to paint.It is surprisingly quiet for Tacoma as well! Out of the 7 apartments I have lived in the last 10 years, this is my favorite.

First apartment and this has been an amazing year. Not only is the staff kind, they are very attentative and listen to my concerns when necessary. One of the best parts is all the activities for the entire community, pool parties, BBQS, game nights.. highly recommend. Thank you Shanna & Melanie :)

Its ok, but there are areas they need to better, administrative wise, such as maintenance request orders pending for months already approved but apparently forgotten by the administration

We have a friend that lives here here lease is due to be renewed and new residents are getting an amazing price while her rent goes up. This place has no sense of loyalty to their people. Also the amount of goose poop around the ponds and on the trails is disgusting

NEVER EVER MOVE HERE. RUN AWAY. THIS PLACE IS HELL. This place gets no stars from me. By FAR the worst place I have ever lived from the RUDE and incompetent management to the horrid living conditions. To begin, the geese they have are very territorial which makes it hard to walk your dog when you are getting attacked. Not to mention they do not treat the grass for fleas leading to tick, flea, and spider infestation. When asked to spray my house, was given spider traps but still killing over 10 spiders a day that we the size of my palm. The fleas were horrible. I would walk my dog minimally for 5 minutes at a time and she would have over 100 fleas on her regardless of the expensive treatments given. They stopped biting her but would still be transported in the house and began biting me. The appliances were broken and when asked to replace them was told TWICE by maintenance that they would be back and they never did. Despite documentation and a witness to this was told that I have to cover all this in the move out cost. Also, found a dead rat and a couple of rats nests under my sink. The only thing they did was put a trap there and left a HUGE gaping hole under my sink. When maintenance did claim they came to check fire alarms but not fix anything, I had evidence that someone had gone through my undergarments as they were strewn places that I did not place them. Management again denied this and didnt care. When telling the management the water tasted like lead and bleach was told that the pipes were old and that couldnt be helped. I contribute this to the reason I was constantly sink and had to spend a ridiculous amount of money on bottled water because the water was discolored and had evidence of bacterial growth in it. To continue, I had their contracted leaf blowers come around at eight o clock in the morning and peer through my windows. Then they purposefully destroyed my porch and peed in my shoes that were left on the porch. This was witnessed several times them vandalizing my property and when told management, was given a 15 dollar gift card to Starbucks. (WHAT??!) Upon moving, the last day, my drunk neighbor broke into my house and trashed the place and when told the management they stated that they can not do anything since I didnt have renters insurance and had to pay the move out cost. Which is fine on that part but they claim to have a no tolerance policy yet the neighbor suffered no consequences. Not only is the management rude but they are liars. I have an email stating how much I hated living there and was not going to renew my lease and moving out the day my lease was up and they stated that because I didnt fill out their paper in the office they had the right to charge $1400 dollars for a move out total for a crappy apartment that cost only 750$ to live there. Not only did I send an email PRIOR to the 20 days, I also talked to someone in the office who had refused to let me sign anything unless it was exactly 20 days despite the lease only saying that they needed the notice in writing which an email is considered such. Also making me pay for the repairs that I called in and they never completed because they never came back when saying they would. When asking to talk to someone about the charges was routed to the regional manager Melissa who doesnt return phone calls after calling everyday for 2 weeks. NEVER MOVE HERE. EVER.

I love these apartments! After moving out of a complex that was waaaaaay overpriced, it was amazing to find lakeside landing. The beautiful lakes, with swans and ducks are fantastic, and the second floor apartments are stunning, with vaulted roofs and sky lights. Absolutely stunning. It is a shame that my apartment doesnt have its own washer/dryer, and sometimes in the summer living right by the public playground gets noisy, but every complex has is quirks. The staff are very friendly, and the person who was in charge of showing us around was willing to have us discuss logistics on his lunch break, and took care of transferring insurance without us asking. He also remembered is by name over a month later, and remembered about our cats and even gave us advice on how to help his anxiety (which helped!). The pool is beautiful, too. It is well kept and very nice. It is a wonderful gated community, but the gated part has a few issues. A few weeks after moving in, they changed some locks, or something. But long story short, our amenities key only works for the pool and the laundry room. And I cannot get into the complex until a car drives through the gate, and I have to run in behind it. They havent fixed that for months now, which is really a drawback when Im home late, in the dark, when its raining, with no cars in sight. Along side that, sometimes when the previous resident moves out, they dont properly fix things. My bathtub drains, even when plugged, and my dishwasher doesnt wash dishes well. But, overall, this is a wonderful complex and highly recommend it. 😁😁

Very disappointed in these apartments. Im paying over $1300/MO plus all utilities to have a 2x1 apartment with a small water heater.Do not rent here unless you can enjoy a quick ice cold shower.

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism I dealt with at Lakeside Landing today(Saturday 03/31). Long story short, we did not move in today, nor will we EVER move in to that complex because our income verification needs to be notarized and she decides to tell us this when we come in to sign the lease!!! My boyfriend works 14 hours a day 6-7 days a week, and it’s hard for him to get days off and he got off early to be able to move into our apt today. Had a truck and everything. I even got renters insurance set up, and Tacoma utilities account set up. She had a full week to call us or email us about this but never did. When we first arrived, she said to us “Are you guys ready to move in!?,” then tells us we can’t and to move in on another day. Are you serious? What if we were homeless and had nowhere to go? She didn’t care. Im just going to take it as a sign that god is saying that apartment is bad news and we need a better one. The lack of communication and empathy is ridiculous. I would stay away from this place. Just look at the ratings online. They are shady and are just quick to take your money. Theyre customer service is lacking. I guess moving in was an April fools joke! Happy Easter to us.

Just moved out 10/13/17 and would say that may stay here was pleasant. The office staff were always nice when I went in to get something or voice a concern. With that being said we were able to rent a 2 br apartment for around $1200 a month. We had a view of their gazebo and had vaulted ceilings. The only downfall to living there was that they didnt have washer and dryers in the unit & that the front gate was ALWAYS broken. I dont know why they have such a low review, but I would suggest that you visit and make your own judgements.

I dunno man I moved here recently and the only thing I have to complain about is the fact the apartments with views are about $200 more for rent just because they have a view. Again, its a very nice place, washers are good laundromat size, working appliances and nice staff from what I can tellThey also accept most pets except violent breeds such as pit bulls and Rottweilers

DO NOT MOVE HERE EVER! I moved in December 28th and still currently live here and it has been the absolute WORST experience ever. Firstly, my neighbors are the absolute worst! In the first couple months of living here I got a few complaints which were INVALID, but yet I still got a notice. My neighbors complained about me having a party late at night, when I only had 2 people over from 7pm-9pm on a Friday night.When I called management to explain my side of the story, they didnt care to listen, and still kept false complaints on my file. Furthermore, just last week (05/17/18) my neighbors were complaining that my puppy was peeing on my balcony and that they had pictures of proof. What makes it even worse, is that one of the managers confronted me about the issue EXTREMELY RUDELY and when I tried to explain that, that was not true and that there cant be any pictures of proof because I NEVER let my dog out on the balcony, she gave me even more attitude and responded with just Well, there are pictures with proof of your dog peeing on the balcony. Well, a different manager called me informing me about the pictures of proof that my puppy was peeing on the balcony, and the pictures were of puddles on my neighbors furniture out on their porch below my balcony. The puddles werent even described as YELLOW.No proof of my dog peeing in action BECAUSE I NEVER LET HIM OUT THERE NOR DO I GO OUT ON MY BALCONY MYSELF. Furthermore, my dog is big, so if he was peeing on my balcony, my neighbors would be able to catch him in action.Its sad that the people here resort to snitching rather than talking to their neighbors about their issues. Its also sad that management only listens to the complaints and not the other persons side of the story.All in all, the people at lakeside landing are the worst here! My friends are aware of my horrible neighbors and all of the OTHER issues I have had since moving in here. I will not be renewing my lease and I have told all of my friends to avoid this apartment complex and YOU SHOULD TOO!

Took more than 2 weeks to resolve a case and even then my application ended up being rejected. Massive waste of time due to the worst customer service possible.

Ive been here since 2011 and Ive watched my rent go up year after year starting from $755... To about $1200 now. Gentrification is getting real in Tacoma. I have to say management has improved as well as the community center from previous owners. Maintenance crew is mostly friendly as well, although there is one older dude that likes to try and give us an attitude and be somewhat condescending when he has to come in to my apt to attend to my maintenance issues.Wish the hot tub was a little hotter than what it is now. It used to be around 103° when the previous company was running things, but now it feels like 99° or less so I dont even bother going in there anymore.

Provided no notice for rent. Everything is online. Not a single call. Fees are insane. My dog was stolen in this complex (thankfully returned after ending up in black diamond being sold for drugs), my tires slashed, and tennis equipment taken from my car. Dont live here. I tried to contact them through phone and e-mail for help multiple times and nothing. Love the apartments and locations, disappointed by management.

I personally enjoy living at Lakeside Landing, as the Staff is very attentative, kind and listen to my concerns and responding to my inquiries. Also, at Lakeside Landing I like all the activities for the entire community celebrating holidays, pool party, cookouts and free food! I refer and recommend as many people when ever I have the oportunity.

Raise rent 100 bucks every year, heated pool is not heated. Been hear for 5 years and the grass was green in the back. I guess new management want to save on water so now the grass is all dead and brown. For the 1300 I pay to live here a month, at least water the f ing grass.

I complained about someone opening my mail and they responded it was my fault because I didnt want to use their amazon hub space that was an inconvience if u order stuff regularly and have to go down everyday to get it . I lived in Lakewood before this and no one ever touched our mail . For the price we pay here they should have better customer service and not blame their tenants

If I could give a zero review I would. Advise to anyone trying to rent here, dont. They changed management about 6 months ago. Any apartment issue I was told there was nothing they could do to fix it. Laundry is onsite and people actually stole my laundry from my dryer. The laundry card system was usually down. I ended up taking laundry to laundry mat. Any time I called the staff was horrible. Upon trying to finally move out, they accepted our notice but still charged us full rent and wont refund the money.(over $600) The ladies I have spoke to refuse to refund or do anything. My neighbor made complaints every single day when all I was doing was watching TV at 4 Pm, not am. My neighbor then called and told them our truck ran for 45 minutes every morning, which by the way makes zero sense. During the summer we were harassed for using the pool which is supposed to be an amenity. This is by far the worst company and complex I have ever lived in. Do not rent from them!!! It will be a nightmare.

When we first came here the management was perfect. Then a new company came in and raised rent with no notice or reason. When I have a concern, its laughed at our thrown to the side. These people dont care about you.

They are hardly around when needed. Dont fix things that need fixed. Rent was alot. We talked to staff they are nice not rude. They leave early before close. At times always seems that way when need something. They say fax things to us. Ha but yet there email is hiden for you cant see it. They show phone # address but not email. Which I feel is wired. The property is beautiful well maintained. It is peaceful. Every place has ups and downs to a point. Nothing is perfect. I moved out I found a nice cheap 3 bedroom double wide have a nice yard wild life for 450$ a month. But I found it in Virginia. But thats OK. For now. My god bless you all.

Management and staff have always been rude and do not help with problem neighbors. My family and I have complained about loser neighbors for a year and a half and have send hundreds of email, made multiple complaints to corporate and have called the police. Every time nothing gets done. People pay ridiculous amount of rent here only to have rat infestations, many problems with plumbing and dishwashers, poorly insulated windows and so on. It doesnt help to call the manager or corporate as they talk over you and hang up on you every time. This is the worst ghetto Ive ever had the misunfortune to live in!

Worst experience Ive had ever. It took them 5 DAYS to send some one to fix the garbage disposal. New management comp. sucks. I left the apt. in move in condition all it needed was carpet clean to even our the carpet and I was charged more than $200 for carpet.DO NOT RECOMEND TO ANY ONE.

It was nice at first until my rent was raised to high and I had to leave. During the last few months my downstairs neighbor music was so loud my dishes would shake. I complained at least 6 times and it continued til I just gave up trying. The parking spaces are very small. My husbands car was damaged while parked there and with no security cameras we couldnt find out who did it. Also, its been 1 month and two weeks and we still dont have the deposit back. The apartment for a 1 bedroom is 1200 and Im paying 1085 for a 2 bedroom with a washer and dryer now. I wouldnt reccomend this place anymore and am very disappointed I do not have my deposit back.

My fiancé and I were aware of the bad reviews here prior to visiting the complex. We decided to give the complex a visit to decide for ourselves because we needed a place to stay asap and we agreed this complex was the best out of all the other 10 we found online. James, the consultant, greeted us right away upon entering and was extremely attentive to all our needs. He was bubbly, fun, professional, and super easy to talk to. He took us on a tour of complex, as well as one of the model units. We fell in love with it right away! We put our deposit down and did our paper work the same day! This was our first apt together and James made it so easy for us!! Everything went smoothly and we were excited to move in. James kept us updated via email/phone with everything prior to our move in date and made our 1st time experience too easy!Our move in date came along, and we noticed terrible odor in the unit. We opened the windows and bought carpet/fabric odor eliminator and tried to fix it but it was still horrific. Previous owner had pets and the carpets had pet stains, etc. We went in the office the next day and spoke to another consultant (gorgeous, black woman with tattoo on her left side of chest). I am beating myself for forgetting her name because she deserves excellent recognition along side with James. We informed her of our concerns and she was sincerely worried about the condition of the apt. She made a few phone calls and told us she will speak to property manager about the issue because it was a Sunday & there was limited resources. An hour later, she called me and told me they were going to replace the entire carpets in the unit. She made it happen the very next day! Thank goodness!!! Thank you maintenance team!We have been here about 2 weeks now and we love it! Neighbors are quiet and respectful. Our view from patio is breathtaking because of the gorgeous pond. Always enough parking nearby. The gym is awesome! My son loves the pool and spa. We are enjoying it so far. Only thing I would say that they need to work on is probably a better system for the maintenance team. It does take a little bit for them to get the little things done. We had a few things listed on our inventory check off that they said they would fix (dishwasher stains, dented bathroom metal bar, broken door stoppers, dented metal window frames..). Im sure maintenance team work their butts off, and I get they get busy and cant attend some maintenance things and prioritize the big maintenance over the little ones, and we are patient with it, but I think they can figure out a better system so it can all get done at a reasonable time period. Other than that, we have had nothing but a great customer service & a great first time experience here at Lakeside. Thank you so much!!!

This place is the absolute worst, as a college student who used to live there they treat you like dirt. Every person around there on the management side is a mean, rude, irate personality. I have nothing good to say about this place other than dont rent there. Utter trash.

I have been here for about 5 months & this place it ridiculous my rent is suppose to be 1000 and some change so roughly 1080.00 with trash, water, included among that price and it is over 1200 almost 1300 I can barely put food in my damn place let alone put money toward other bills, for a one bedroom apt. They said I was late paying once ( late fees and extra bs charges are ridiculous) called them and said the would wave the late fee because I prove I didnt pay it late and they said they would wave it and now it showing up on this months bill. I work wayyy more now than I did before I move here, meaning my bills should not be this high considering Im never home to use the utilities that are included in the bill. Everything is done online I have yet to find an after hour emergency number on there site. Nice apt I have great neighbors but crappy management. Who ever owns this now are money hungry and could careless if you can actually make a living to feed yourself just a carrot. Be aware RENT CHANGES EVERY MONTH dramatically

Management is nice untilThey got your signature on the lease! Some of the leasing agents are good. Some are rude as hell! Biggest mistake was moving in! Ive got a lawyer now to help me stay informed of my rights! I will not renew my lease they jumped on the tacoma rent hike back in feb! I know this because I am a leasing agent else where! Just got hired on and when Ive showed them myLetters my lease there are some red flags but my attorney is sending a letter to deal with that. I have not enjoyed my time as a tenant at Lakeside Landing. My husband had lived here almost 2 years and had no problems until the new management took over about 6 months ago (i moved in about 1 year ago). Rent has gone up for us to being over $1200 for a 1 bedroom apartment, washer and dryer are available in the next building over and cost around 3.75/load. We had nasty things happen to our laundry in the facility; we now use a laundromat. We had a leak in our water tank that affected the lower tenant/neighbor at the end of February, it is the end of May and the floor in our kitchen has still not been adequately fixed. The last time someone came by to work on the floor, everything was moved off of our fridge, some decorative shot glasses were broken, decorative dishes were placed in the sink with duty dishes needing to be washed and our things were all around the dining and kitchen area. There had been no communication from the apartment letting us know there was someone doing work before or after this happened. After a week, I called the maintenence department to inquire about the still messed up floor and complain about what had happened the last time someone was in and they said it would be fixed by the vendor in 1 week and they would have a staff person with the vendor at all times.Because of how much we pay in rent we applied for a mortgage sooner than wed planned and are home shopping now.I would not rent here again and do not encourage others to rent here either.

I lived here for a little over a year and it was the worst experience. There was a massive rodent infestation. I could never get anyone to do anything about it... They were field mice and I was told that was just part of living in this area. My 2nd floor apartment was constantly covered in mice feces no matter how clean I kept it. It was repulsive.

The new management has everything under control, and everything is improving in the neighborhood.

I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND renting here, u might find everything fine while u live at this place, but u will be surprised with the AMOUNT THEY CHARGE once you are moving out, ull be told that ull get ur deposit back, never dream of it, i know some tenants that were charger about $4k and some international students who deposit $1000 because of lack of renting history, and they never got back their deposit. MANAGEMENT team are very rude except some of front desk staff. ulll feel in that place as if u are in a Golden Prison...If you notice the Reviews that are positive they are from recent tenants. they dont know yet.

Worst management took three weeks for someone and fix the wall sockets so my nine month old wouldnt play with them and another three to fix the faucet in the kitchen they are rude and disrespectful and do nothing to help the tendants. Filed multiple complaints for lousy neighbors and nothing was done my husband is military and were being stationed in Japan they refuse to give us our deposit and damaging an extra five hundred from us so sick of these horrible apartments

The walls are entirely too thin, will hear neighbors music, voice, and movement.

New management does not take care of tenants. Any issues, comments and/or concerns never gets taken care of. Laundry system is horrible. The listed ammenities arent really available at tenants convenience.
