Great place with knowledgeable staff that isnt constantly trying to upsell you. Theyve worked on a couple of my cars now and Ive never had an issue. Highly recommend for all your maintaining, though they are a smaller shop so get backed up during busy seasons (tire changes and what not), so its beat to call and schedule at least a week before you need to get your car in, just to be safe. I dont believe they do body work or major system repairs (transmission and the like), but dont quote me on that.

Dramatic and more stressful then necessary.Taking a little care and consideration when speaking to customers would go a long way. It didnt need to be so dramatic and stressful to tell me that the car needs work over the phone... its an auto repair shop... thats why Im here... the intensity I was spoken at with over the phone was bizzar.Not a one star rating though because they didnt seem like bad people, they seemed competent, and the shop was relatively clean.

Nick was so friendly and helpful. I had my check engine light come on and it was related to my oil. My dipstick would not come out and he suggested that it probably is stuck and to be careful. I fixed the issue by putting in oil my self and getting the stuck dipstick out. I still went to him to make sure everything was okay. Nick read the code, checked the oil level, and suggested I get a new dipstick and oil change. Such quality care and will be coming back for any of my vehicle needs!

Glissons Automotive is a excellent place to take your vehicle. Their prices are very reasonable and the auto mechanics making sure your needs are met in a manner that reflects positively on the company or business.

Three stars because although they were helpful with installing and mounting my snows, they charged me $50 more than any other place I’ve been to for the same service.

In my experience the folks at Glissons are very honest, do good work, and are a pleasure to deal with. Very convenient location in relation to the university area. I would definitely recommend taking your car here for service.

The quality of work is top notch, the service is great, and the price is right... when you can get in! Personally I have found that it is hard to schedule an appointment. When you can get a hold of someone they will work with you, but prepare to book an appointment a week in advance. In my opinion the difficulty in booking an appointment is a result of their quality work and good service. I wish I could give them a five star rating, but the difficulty in getting a hold of someone to book an appointment is boarder-line problematic. That said, it is something I can overlook based on the other high points of service. This is my preferred garage in Syracuse, NY.

Great job on my 2010 RAV4. It had a bad water pump Glissons replaced it and my car is running again!

My car failed an inspection at another national brand auto center but i even though i do a lot of business there, i doubted their findings. i called Glissons just to speak to a local repair shop and after being honest with them, they were able to show me on the car where the issues were. they were not close to failing an inspection. not only did my car pass the inspection, i was only charged $10 instead of $21 since i recently had it inspected elsewhere. todays visit and great customer care saved my $1200 of repairs and/or pulling the trigger on another car sooner than we were ready for. im extremely grateful and recommend this shop for their honesty and timely service!
