I needed some minor body repair work done to my car. Larry Z was phenomenal. Kind, professional, accommodating. Communication through the entire process was spot on. I showed up today to a repaired car that looked better and is a LOT cleaner than what was left with them last week. They even provided me with a zippy, cute Honda Civic as a loaner for the week. Excellent Job! I brought in a tire that I needed mounted and balanced, and I also needed to replace all my lug-nuts on custom wheels. The technician took EXTRA care by using electrical tape around the lug-nut socket in order to ensure that he/she did not damage the paint on my wheels. This is what I call professional and detailed!

Excellent work on my car and great customer service! I hit a deer and the front and side panel of my car was a mess. I brought it to Walts Automotive and they gave me a loaner car until my car was finished. When they were done with my car...it looked like new again!

It’s the only place that I will take my SUV and my Kids” small, foreign cars, for any work, I have trusted them for over 20 years and they’ve always done right by me. Now we have my son’s ‘10 Audi A4 we took there for a bunch of issues, because of course it would have issues, it’s an Audi and we bought it from a private seller..I don’t think I’ll do that again unless I have them checked thoroughly first (He just got it, too, his first car) . they fixed it all today, and kept in good communication throughout the day. Some say they’re pricey, but I don’t think so, We’ve paid the same, or even more, at another shop, for my our truck and I didn’t trust that shop as I never been, so IF they do happen to be a few dollars more for the same work, the integrity and communication skills are worth every penny, and them some! I’ve also had them detail my car a long time ago, it looked brand new when I picked it up, and it was filthy. These people really care about their customers and take pride in their work. If something doesn’t need done yet, but will in the future, they don’t play games like other places, they tell you that they recommend you fix it, but down the road would be ok, or if it’s urgently needed, to fix it now. That’s my favorite part. I’m always treated with respect, like they value my business, and the girl in the office that’s been there for years is so nice, no matter how busy she is, and always listens carefully when you drop off.. thanks for the continued professionalism..and always taking care of us so well. Walts makes the experience pleasurable and worry free, and I trust my kid’s safety on the road after bad wheel bearings. What more could I ask for?

I was referred to Walts by a person I met a only once. My van had set unrepaired for months because I could not get a straight explanation on cost and payment. When I called and spoke to Claude he was honest and explained my warranty trouble and what he thought might be my problem. Then he told me what he could do for me. When I got that money together my Van was fixed and back on the road with more work done and a lot less money spent.This business will not take you for a ride it will give you your ride back

Brought my car in for these guys to do a quick oil change & inspection. I get a call that they’re having trouble getting the car started (never been an issue before) so I told them to call me back in a bit if it’s still not running.The following day, I had to have it towed to another mechanic, as they had toyed with the ignition switch and done some rewiring without my consent. Now the car won’t start, and they are asking $100 for the labor to mess it up, plus $500 to repair it. What a joke.

Fast Pace hard workers known to get the job done!

I started using Walts a couple of years ago after they were recommended by a family member. Every time I call, they always get me in that same day. Definitely great service and great people!

I am not sure why they offer an online appointment request when they have nobody following up on them. I reached out wanting to spend money on atleast 2 of their services via their online portal at 6 in the morning. I recieved an email 30 minutes before they opened stating I would recieve a call to make arrangements for help. I sat by the phone all day and never recieved a call or follow up email. Already very disappointed in their customer service considering the fact that I stated in my request that I have a vehicle that wont even start. They clearly dont want my business and dont care that I have no vehicle and was willing to give them my hard earned money to fix it. Guess im looking for a different shop. Update: I was home all day with my phone and never received a single call. Doesnt make sense. Especially if I was really needing this repair. Pass.

We came to syracuse to drop my vehicle off. My husband picked me up but on the way got a bolt in the side wall of his Tire and it of course went,flat. We are from Ottawa Canada and were on our way to West Virginia. We had a problem with our wheel bearings and were calling ahead to Syracuse to try to get someone to fit us in. Walts was the only place in town that agreed to take us and when we got there it was clear that they didnt do it because they were short of work. The place was packed. Surprisingly, not only did they fit us in, but they took a look at our van right away. Super impressed with how they did the testing to diagnose and confirm the problem. Everybody, from the mechanics to the desk staff, was sincerely friendly and the place was extremely service-oriented. They obviously took pride in their level of service and customer satisfaction. In the end they were able to make the repair in a little over an hour and at a very decent price. Thank you to all the folks there!I really wish I lived closer to Syracuse so I could take my car problems to Walts. As it stands, I am even considering driving the 3 and a half hours when I have a major car repair just so that I can go to a place that I can trust and that provides that level of service. If you live close to Syracuse you probably already know of this place, but if you dont, I obviously highly recommend it.PS The BBQ place (Dino BBQ) across the street is a fantastic place to wait for your car to be fixed as well! Given the great service at Walts and the great food at Dinos we felt we had the best possible outcome of a bad situation!

We were on a 3 hour drive, stopped in the middle for lunch in Syracuse, and the car wouldnt start again after. We walked the block over to Walts and they sent someone out with us to jump our car. While we waited (not long at all) they were nice and helpful. If Im ever back in the area, I would not hesitate to get work done here. Thanks!

Not much to say about Walts but what I do have to say is positive. Got my inspection done here. Called to check availability and they made time for me that very day. Service was quick and staff members were courteous. I got my inspection done at a fair price and didnt have to wait around all day to have it done. No complaints here! Id go back for other car services if I needed them.

I cannot recommend this shop highly enough! I first came here for last years inspection because it was close to work and unfortunately have had a string of car issues since (no fault of theirs - brakes, routine maintenance, multiple screws in my tires -_-). They always get my car done on time, with or without appt, at a fair price, and most importantly as a young woman talking about cars, treat me with respect. Getting work done on my car has never been so convenient!

From Canada, was visiting Syracuse, had some smoke coming from the hood of my car. Went first thing at 8 am on a Monday morning when they opened. Not only did they see the car within 15 minutes, they checked it, and said it was a minor issue and didn’t even charge us a penny! Excellent, fast, and courteous service. Thank you!

Family owned mechanic shop, one of the best body shops in CNY and able to handle classic and foreign car problems.

They are quite professional. You can tell its ran as if they are running a real business with a name they are trying to uphold. However, I had an issue with my car, that they didnt figure out and I ended up paying hundreds to them with no resolved issue. But, I took my car to the dealership, and they got the issue resolved. So Walts did loose points for that. Its more like a 3.5 instead of a 4.

Its always been a great experience taking my car for any type of work at Walts. Im mostly there for oil changes and little issues here and there but theyre professional and thorough with each job. Sometimes they will even leave notes on my bill/invoice if they noticed something is going wrong or a part is wearing down and will give estimates in advance. Its good, honest work and I recommend them to everyone.

Good service, professional but pricey. They quoted me 1 full hour for rear sway bar end link replacement. Very expensive for loosing and fastening couple very easy-accessed nuts. On the other hand, we communicated well and they were able to answer my every question and concerns. I felt like I’m treated well and professionally.

They are absolutely the best. They dont try to talk you into doing work that doesnt need to be done. They get it right the first time. They sometimes give you little breaks on the bill when you are a repeat customer. The guys and girls are friendly and helpful. I wouldnt go anywhere else. The best in town, by far.

Had a wonderful experience with them theyre very honest very knowledgeable and very reasonable. My SU daughter had her oil light warning flash on even after getting an oil change at some weird place. I live in Pittsburgh and am mechanically inclined. I called around and asked the right people to recommend an excellent shop that would see my daughters car the same day. WALTS was highly recommended and yes! was quick to find the problem which was the oil pressure sensor (I had suspected this) Walts changed the sensor, oil and filter at a fair cost...problem sloved! daughter drives home safely for Thanksgiving.
