Had a tire emergency and the staff here was most helpful. They squeezed me in the manager was so helpful and nice. Definitely will be taking my future business to them.

The staff on location has always been more than great to me, so Im reviewing the warranty policy. Seriously disappointed that after all of the money that myself and my family have spent here, that I am shafted over a 100 dollar part and 1.5 hours of labor because I am 180 miles over warranty, after the part failed within 10 months. Now I have to go out of my way to avoid Mr. Tire despite the convenience of the location being close to home and work.I understand that rules are rules, but 180 measly miles over warranty? A wheel bearing should not go bad again after 12,000 miles, considering my other 3 have nearly 300,000 miles on them. This should have been honored out of good faith. This is just a bad business practice in my opinion.

I have been a 5 star reviewer in the past, but only 4 this time. My car came in for brakes, but took 4 hours to figure out where to get rosters and pads. Follow this up with it took 2 more days to get them in and installed.Communication was sparse to say the least as I waited 4 hrs without much if any feedback.Quality job, and I will still go back in future

I had a leak out of my radiator and my car was in danger of overheating. I was told by Monroe on Erie Blvd that I needed it replaced and the total would be $831. Out of that cost I was told that $280 would be for a new radiator. I bought a cheaper one from Pep Boys and went in for the labor and coolant flush and they denied me stating they wouldnt accept customer owned parts.I went to Mr. Tire with the radiator expecting to pay $530 for the labor and coolant flush, but didnt end up paying that price at all. Mr. Tire upon further observation stated that all I needed as a clip that connects the hose to the radiator. The clip was replaced, the coolant was flushed, AND I was able to return the radiator to Pep Boys and get a full refund. In total I spent just over $300. 1 Hour for the hose clip replacement and $155 for the flush plus tax. They were honest and didnt try to rip me off. Also 2 months prior I got a descent deal on some tires. THIS is my garage.

Taken advantage of. I came in expecting fair pricing based on past experiences. Well, I was charged 300% more than if I were to purchase the parts from an auto supply store. I also happen to know garages get a discount on every part they purchase from the supply store. Considering their discount on pricing they made almost 400% off the parts they installed for me. Fair is double. I have no issue with a place I go making a profit. Garages pay their mechanics hourly or by job, thereby ensuring they always making a profit off their labor. I do not recommend this chain. Mr Tire auto services will take advantage of you everytime they have the chance to.

I brought my car in for new tires and a ny state inspection. Chris called to let me know the front brakes were bad. We had them replaced and the car brakes so much better. Chris called when it was done and he was very pleasant to deal with. I always bring my car to him because I know I can trust him 100%. Its nice to be able to bring your car to him because you never feel like youre being taken advantage of. Thumbs up to him and his team.

I love this place; I feel bad that I don’t remember names well but everyone I’ve interacted with has shown a sense of urgency to get my problem fixed in the most cost effective way. This is reassuring because as a girl going to a mechanic, they usually try to pull a fast one. I am extremely happy with their work— keep it up!

My Mr. Tire location was excellent. They gave me a good deal on a tire and wheel package when I went in early in October for an upcoming set of snow tires. They ordered them and kept them in storage for me until I was ready to have them installed. They were very professional and know their business. When you go in and are speaking to the sales person, you are number one. They put phone calls on hold and finish with you before handling the phone. Makes you fell like youre number one. I liked dealing with them.

I’ve been bringing my cars to this location since i moved to Syracuse in 2005! I’ve been to other shops but they don’t compare. These guys have been there for me through pretty much anything you can think of! Chris and his crew have kept me happy and safe for years. And Chris always goes above and beyond to help. His knowledge and experience is invaluable, he always finds me the best tires, explains all my services and is incredibly kind, I always feel better when I walk in and see him behind the counter. ☺️

Wow I am so pleased! I wish I got their names, but every employee I met was so so helpful. I had 2 separate flat tires in a week from driving over nails. One of them was replaced here and was a better price than the other replacement at a different shop. My other replacement went flat again and these guys fixed it and explained everything that went wrong. Also, theyre all just so nice. I cant wait to get another flat so I can visit again. 10/10 I appreciate you guys!

DO NOT GO HERE for an inspection. I brought my car in for the yearly inspection because they happened to have a convenient time available, even though the shop seemed a little shady from the start and the person at the counter didnt bother to acknowledge me for several minutes. After an hour, they called to say it failed the safety inspection because the stabilizer link was broken and there were problems with the chassis, and offered to do an $800 repair that day. I declined the repair, paid the $20 for the failed inspection, and a couple days later brought it to my regular shop thats been looking after my car for years. They told me the stabilizer might have been a little loose, but the car had no safety issues, and passed it without problems. So: Mr Tire tried to use a simple inspection scam us for an unnecessary $800 repair. Do not go here, this place is not trustworthy.

Went in for brake service after i went to a dealership 8-10months ago or so for the same service. All my rotors were rusted even though they were replaced by the dealership. They quickly replaced everything and even showed me my old rotors and explained a lot of what could have went wrong, which I appreciated. Good and friendly people.

The guys did a great job fixing some odd things on my SUV, a broken transmission cable on the driver side passenger window and some bushings needed to be replaced in the front end. They fully explained what was going on and how the parts on question caused issues. My go to place for car repairs, and 3 convenient locations around my area. Thank you Craig and staff !

My tire had been losing pressure for several days before I discovered a nail one morning. Had to get it fixed quickly, as I was leaving for Thanksgiving break in just 5 days. Called them for help and JP was able to get me in just three hours later despite being very busy. Patch took about 30-45 minutes and I was all set. The patch is guaranteed for the life of the tire, and has held up just fine. Thanks JP and Mr. Tire!

On the last stretch of my cross country road trip, I got a flat right outside of Dewitt. Google brought me to another tire place about 2 miles away from Mr Tire (whyyy google, why) and I spent an hour and a half waiting for the mechanics to tell me they couldn’t fix my tire (they hadn’t even looked, I saw my car in the same place the entire time I was waiting) also they informed me that they didn’t have another tire in stock. They basically just shrugged and said good luck. I was really freaking out, I’m stranded in this foreign town 350 miles away from home.After looking for a few more places I noticed this shop that had great reviews and figured it looked promising... and so I called Mr Tire and spoke with JP (the manager) who, over the phone, helped reassure me more than any of the techs I spent the last hour and a half with at the previous shop could do. Within 30 minutes of reaching Mr Tire, my tires were inspected and my flat was replaced. I can’t even express how relieved I was, honestly I owe JP and his guys so much for being friendly and helping me out when I really needed it, thanks again y’all! You truly made the last part of my trip easy when it could have gone really badly. You’re the best!!!

They didnt pass my inspection and said four parts in the wheel needed replacement. The bill would have been well over $1000. My car runs fine with no sound, but had my mechanic friend look at it just in case. He said it was fine, then I passed inspection somewhere else with no problems. Im really not sure why they lied and tried to rip me off, but they got my inspection money. The guy was friendly though

Went in for a brake job. Because of a mix up with the supplier we had to wait a bit longer for the right pads. The guys there are so friendly and the place was very clean! The manager JP was so apologetic but it truly was not his fault. I will definitely be back with both my vehicles for service!

Got a flat tire and couldnt get the spare off. Had to leave car jacked up in parking lot and take the tire with me. Called some places and they said they were to busy. Brought it into Mr Tire and told Chris the manager my situation. His guys were all busy so he repaired it for me himself. Thanks Chris for the good work, and saving my car from being stranded.

After a disastrous experience at Dunn Tire, I went to Mr. Tire. I felt like I could trust them, they recommended tires that fit my needs (i.e. I am only keeping the car for 18 months) and didnt try to oversell me. I was also told at Firestone that I needed a new battery. I asked the team at Mr. Tire to check it for me and if I needed a new battery, to replace it. They said the battery was fine, but I probably needed the connectors cleaned. They could have just as easily told me I needed a new battery and I would have bought it. Highly recommend them and they will be my new service center moving forward.

I did not need four tires because I just bought them year-and-a-half previously. I go back to Mr.Tire and had to buy one tire I should have been smarter and gone there first. They could have repaired it..

Unfortunately I had a hole in my sidewall from hitting a curb so I had to spend some unexpected money, however the visit was great! Kelly at the front desk was awesome and you can tell she keeps everything moving at this location. Keep up the good work!

Dont even think about booking with them online. I went to the website, selected the tires i needed for my car, then made an appointment to have them installed in 4 days, according to the availability on their calendar. Easy-peasy right? Wrong - came in for my appointment on my way to work and they had no record of appointment, complained the website calendar is broken, and they couldnt sell me tires for at least another 10 days. I question whether the other reviews are even real...

Mr. Tire has helped me out of a jam more than once. They are friendly, efficient, and get the job done in a pinch. There is also something mystical about this place that I cannot explain.

Extremely grateful for Mr. Tire on Erie Blvd. in Syracuse. We were traveling up to Syracuse from South Carolina and before we left, we took my car in to a mechanic for a good look over to make sure it was safe for the long drive. The mechanic told us everything was good but on the way up, any time I would go over 50-55 the steering wheel would shake really bad and it was not handling well in the rain. When we got to Syracuse, I didn’t get the chance to have it looked at right away but when I did, I called Mr. Tire and Kelly was able to get me in the same day. I dropped my car off and shortly after they called and told me my car was actually not safe to drive and they could not believe the other “mechanic” had told me it was. Both front tires had wear so bad on one side, that you could see the cords. They explained what was wrong with the car that caused that to happen and were up front about what I needed to have done to fix it. They didn’t try oversell tires or add on unnecessary repairs. They took care of it immediately and went above and beyond to make sure the car would be done the same day and that it was safe for my children and I to drive back home in. I would definitely recommend this place and if the car ever needs anything done next time we are in Syracuse, I will definitely take it back here.

My wife called and set up an appoint for my mother to get her car inspected. Chris was very accommodating. They did the inspection and realize one of her back calipers was seized. They informer my mother and she was going to go back to the dealer because of extended warranty. They delved a bit further into it and greased the slides and caliper was freed up and no charge . These are great guys very happy with Mr Tire Erie Blvd.

Cant tell you how many times Ive been to Mr Tire with multiple vehicles for anything from oil change to new tires. Ive never once had a bad experience and always leave feeling like I was treated fairly and secure that my cars are in top condition. I would recommend them to anyone.

Being a long time Kost customer I was concerned, when Mt Tire took over Erie Blvd. I am a senior with an older car and always feel that Chris and team always give me an honest effort for an honest price. Had a nail in my tire and took it here and they were super fast!

Heater core change, coolant system flush. They changed me from factory oem recommended coolant to green stuff which is now turning Brown and Im still hearing bubbles in the coolant system. Going to call tomorrow to reschedule another coolant flush. Hopefully they flush the whole system next time and are willing to recognize that the flush wasnt properly done.

My husband made an appointment to change our tires for 11am on a Sunday. When we both showed up with our cars exactly at 11am, the person at the desk scolded us and said our cars were supposed to be there at 10am. She was wrong, the appointment was for 11am - my husband was told on the phone that that was all they had that day. We have taken our cars here for years. Will use Pep Boys from now on. I encourage Mr Tire to give their customers the benefit of the doubt. Its a real turnoff to be accused of wrongdoing - not a great feeling, not a positive interaction. We can take our business elsewhere.
