Rushed and careless...I get waxing regularly (different salon) but I was trying to save time and tried out this salon huge mistake, she changed the complete shape of my eyebrows, waked off my tail and it was uneven, at the end there was already another Customer walking into the room and flashed the mirror in the face and set me on my way, I have thick eyebrows so it’s not that hard to just follow the natural shape,I could’ve done a better job myself with an at home kit. I should’ve inspected it better but I couldn’t help but feel rushed, so I paid and tipped and was on my way....I came back to add photos of my experience.... perfect brows for my birthday, truly thank you ! I should’ve paid more

Long time, loyal customer (came in every 2 weeks for mani/pedi/brows) until TODAY. The staff was very unprofessional, tech who scheduled our appointments made an unnecessary scene and I didn’t get the service that I had scheduled ahead of time. My tech was excellent but two other techs were extremely unprofessional and rude. My daughters and I will never return to this establishment.

We had an appointment for 6:30Made by their own personal secretary and we arrived at 6:30 for themTo tell us we can’t get our nails done “and that everyone left!” Why would you have a business that closed at 7pm and then send all your employees home at 6:30? Doesn’t make any sense and it’s poor business!!

Terrible customer service. Called ahead for eyebrow wax, they said they had someone available right away. I showed up and waited 15 minutes to be seen, then another 5 in the waxing room, then a girl came in and I told her I wanted her to wax as high as she could to keep a high arch and I like it on the thin side. She got frustrated and walked away, waited another 10 minutes for a girl to come in and tell me how eyebrows work. I understand I said, you cant make them any higher than my natural arch but can you please accentuate the arch and have them tapered thin?? She spent a minute and 30 seconds waxing, no clean up, no attention to detail, uneven brows, no trimming or plucking, left eyebrow is way thicker than the right and Im never going back. Terrible customer service. 😑

Service was great and pedicures were amazing and relaxing. Not 5 star as the whole entire staff was rather quiet and non-socialable which wasnt terrible just odd.

Got my first full service of acrylic nails here. They fit me in on short notice and were fast without risking quality.

This salon gave me an infection after a pedicure, then asked me to come in to get a refund. When I went in they were rude, made a scene through the entire salon. Offered a gift certificate which I refused. Then they gave me receipt to credit my account. 1 week later, no managers are in the salon and the refund has not hit my account. This place is rude and unprofessional.

This is my 3rd trip here. They are definitely in no rush. Then, today I went in (it says walk ins welcome). My husband and I wanted pedicures. Business was slow, lots of Emory chairs and employees just sitting around. A few passed us up front. Plus, it was difficult to get in the plaice because they had a window washer with his stuff spread out everywhere (why have your windows washed during the middle of the business day. We were totally ignored. No one seemed interested in helping us, so we left. I won’t be back.

The WORST experience I have ever had. They are rude, very unprofessional. We were judged by how we looked as soon as we got their. We were made fun at and laughed at and they still had the audacity to threaten me.My husband and I own our own business and neither he or I would ever treat one of our customers to this extent of disrespect and disgrace.I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

Went for dip nails, had picture in hand, said if couldnt be done to simplify. Did nails, came out awful, called to have redone, obliged. Are better, but still not what I requested at all, and def not $70 quality. Nails are not shiny, even shaped, or colored evenly, light parts have colored glitter in then. Wont be returning as this is second time, and returned to give benefit.

Hands down the best manicure and pedicure I have gotten since I lived in Arizona. I also do nails, Im rather picky. They did a great job. Very clean, friendly and warm. My suggestion would be to make an appointment, dont just walk in and expect to be done, they are very busy.

Mani and Pedi were done to perfection, but I was slightly overpriced. Coming from a different state where mani’s and pedi’s are super affordable to Az is they are pricey.

The Owner is Rude if she needs her staff to tell her client something pull her to the side. Why yell it out 3xs as if we both didnt hear her? If I didnt love my nail tech they wouldnt make over $100 off of me every 2 weeks. I give my nail tech 5 stars 🌟.

Made an appointment, jotted down the time and place, then showed up. Im temporarily handicapped and my husband was present to assist. The same lady I spoke to had no recollection of my scheduled appointment. This smells like discrimination.

Lady at the front desk is VERY unprofessional. Everytime I go to do my nails she over books people. This last time I went they werent on time with my appointment and told me to come back in 30 min so I did and then she said she forgot to write my name down and to come back tomorrow! Very upset and I did mention to her how unprofessional this was!

I like my nails most of the time. There are certain people who dont listen to what you want. Sadly they do make you feel like youre service is taking too long so there is that uncomfortable feeling of being rushed. I also find the up charging a little annoying as well. Im lucky enough that I can get my nails done at all and I have yet to pay the same price twice. Rayna is awesome. My nails last forever and then some as long as I use gel. I will start bringing my own gel top coat to put over regular polish...I cant afford gel every time. They keep saying that it doesnt work. Putting a gel top coat worked for 10 years...tried and true. People are very friendly, store is clean and has a comfy relaxing upscale feel, lots of polish and service choices. I would recommend them and Rayna, and there are others as well, just be sure you know the cost before hand if youre on a budget.

I have now decided this nail salon isnt into doing pedicures for men. I arrived, signed in and waited while receptionist finished a phone conversation. Another lady arrived as the phone call ended, she was asked to sign in. At that point she was asked how she could be helped. I stood there while she was helped. I was never asked what treatment I wanted, just taken back for pedicure. Water was run, I sat there for 45 minutes by then with cold water while new customers came in and serviced. One of the ladies said, it wont be long, maybe 45 minutes or so. I told her Id already been in the water that long and would like a towel to dry my feet and leave. Ive had to wait behind new ladies arriving before but not like this. Im totally done with this business. Shame on them for the blatant discrimination.

I visit for pedicures every few weeks and occasionally nails for myself or daughter. The salon is very clean and relaxing. Every nail tech Ive had over the last couple years does a fantastic job and their prices are fair.

It was fine, but more than I am used to paying in CA.

Beautiful work but communication is terrible. My daughter called, made an appointment and when it was time to pay, they upcharged her. She paid $20 over what she was quoted for.

This nail salon did my sister’s nails and got the whole bridal party ready for her wedding. The nails turned out amazing. My sister and her bridal party were treated really well. A nail salon isn’t my natural environment but I felt very welcomed when I was there and they treated everyone wonderfully. Their nails look wonderful and my pedi felt great. Thanks so much!

I have been coming here for a while and never had an issue....until today 1/22/20. I went in for a fill and was given Tiffany. First I felt like she was rushing. Then she didn’t even know how many coats she put, she was asking me...REALLY!! Then their was a hair from the brush or something from the nail polish and I pointed it out as she was gonna leave it that way. She saids it is my fault because I didn’t put my thumb in properly and it didn’t dry...seriously!! All my others fingers and thumb dried properly. Then I had her paint ring finger white and she didn’t clean the side on my right hand and I pointed it out and still! Not a fan of hers!!! I went to relax and distress. Not the case as I had to watch everything she was doing. Not happy at all!! They were supposed to be my birthday nails 😞

I absolutely love this place! First off, they speak ENGLISH....that alone is a huge plus....but they do really great work here. The salon is very nicely done and the ambience is very relaxing. Theyre all very eager to wait on you and minimize your wait time which is very refreshing and the service menu is healthy. As for nails, Ive never seen so many color options and style choices in a long time. Great salon and will definitely be going back.

Fabulous gel manicure and spa pedicure. Salon is clean, large and nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my broken nails!

This experience was run of the mill not bad it was fine. My pedicure was fine, not impressed by the hot stone massage. Prices were comparable to other salons. Still looking for the ambiance and wow factor in Surprise.

Tiffany did my nails. Im super picky about my nails, sorry but i think if im paying $50 for a service that service needs to be on point ... she did ok, not a bad job just not some one i would seak out. I have gone to the same place for the last 15yrs and i LOVE my normal girl at the other place. Unfortunately my girl is out of the country for a family emergency. I will def be going back to my girl. This place is an ok second choice if my girl is available 💜💜

On 10/18/18, Brian applied gel to my nails. I loved them. When I returned to have a refill from Tammy on 11/5/18 (I had been out of the country), she uncovered FIVE fingers with FUNGUS! Brian was called to finish removing the gel, since he had not properly done the previous work. I had to soak my hands in acetone for about half an hour total (!) and then he applied nail polish to cover up the fungus. They would not take any responsibility, refused to credit the cost. In fact, I was pressured by the woman in charge to pay $35 every two weeks in future to have powder product on nails until they grow out and fungus is gone, which they estimate at a year. I am thoroughly disgusted, stuck with five truly ugly nails.

I called for a polish change and I was seen immediately, however, the quality of service was horrible! The technician could not understand a word I said and my toe nails looked aweful...they weren’t even....need I say more? I DO NOT recommend this place!

I always like Tracy. She had never hurt me cutting my nails it cuticles. I usually find pedicures very stressful and she makes them easy to live through.

Very pretty inside, but the staff arent very friendly. And they make you fill bad b/c ur getting a reg. fill & not a gel fill, and they keep pushing gel. I dont want gel I did for over a year and they peel, its a waste of $ for ME. Please just do what I ask. If I say no to a service then its a no move on without an attitude!

They do a good job really. Watch out for up selling of their services. and dont be surprised if they dont speak English, most dont. Lots of turnover so many very slow but still get the job done .

I am very disappointed to say after 5 or 6 years I will never be going back to Surprise Nails &Spa. I started going to the salon before they switched shops. After my last experience and being treated the way I was I will be on the search for a new nail salon. I went in for the first time ever to get my nails fixed. 1 time in 5 or 6 years is not bad I would say, however I was told that putting a matte gel over a powder dip is wrong and I should not do that. I do not do nails and I did not request for them to be done that way. I got my dip manicure on Tuesday and by Thursday the top coat was peeling off so I went in to get them fix which I would have tipped him for if he had not been so rude about it. On top of his comment he was very rough while fixing my nails. I am so disappointed.

Pedicure nice, done with care by a hardworking young man...eye brows so so...but I have not been able to find a person that can shape brows perfectly

My daughter has been going to this salon for 4 years.. every two weeks... the past couple of times she had a male technician.. the first time her nails were uneven and not what she wanted...she had to go back and have them fixed... the last time she went she got him again... her nails were awful.. they hurt her.. and half of them broke within the first week... it was really bad.. her fingers were cut and her nails fragile.. he filed and grinded her nails down to nothing.. she complained to him that it hurt and he smiled and ignored her she went back a week and half later And asked to talk to someone about it and to have her nails done again by someone else...they told her they didn’t have time for her... over the past few years we have sent numerous people there.. now... we will never go back and will let everyone know how awful they treated us..

A friend recommended this place so I tried it out the lady Tammy build my acrylic to thick on my tumb nail so much it lost shape she seem to get upset everytime I asked her to plZ fix it so I gave up I thought ok let me try again so I went into normal fill and paint I get Tammy again so she seats me and where chatting I asked her to plZ fix the shape and if she could add some acrylic to the tip cause she had shaved it to thin and I didn’t want it to break she complained ugh so she was filing my nails and I was looking at them she said you picky and my reply was of course it would be I’m paying good money needless to say the gentleman/secretary had The nerve to complain about another woman being picky in front of all of the other ladies that was sitting there getting their nails done around me I find that to be very rude and I’m acceptable if you want to keep the clients you should always listen to them and treat them right but thanks to Tammy and the god awful conversations I have I will not be wasting anymore of my money here I will take it to someone who appreciates me and will give me what I want. Update 10/3/20 went with my daughter cause her friend recommended it tried to warn her but ended up going with her anyways. We got the guy and she got the older lady that sits in the front chair. My daughter complained of her nails being sore and that the lady was rough and rushed her. The guy has mine in all kinds of different damn shapes I don’t know what he was doing but they look horrible and I’m going to someone else to fix them perioD I will never ever spend my money here again They get absolutely no stars from me seriously just look at their work they all pretty much suck!

The lady who seems to be a manager is Rude!!She tries to argue you down to make herself look good.poor customer service towards Black people.So my people dont give them business.First experience and it will be my last at that particular salon.I told the lady how much I had on my card to pay for service on just a fill in.Then I realized I had cash on me.So I was like ok I get something more added to my nails she gives me a person that doesnt speak english.So she goes and argue on how much I will pay and get the type of service I should get.So I said no I have enough to get something else.She was rude and said I thought you didnt have money in front of her customers to make me look bad.So I said fine you want get any more of my money.And I left.
