Initially, I was nervous about my visit due to Covid, and the procedure that I had. However, the staff from the front office, the medical team as well as Dr. O were all AMAZING. They reassured me that I was in good hands. My procedure was done quickly, and painlessly. They are awesome!!!

This was my second visit and was seen by a different doctor. The staff was nice. In particular the assistant to the oral surgeon and the doctor were very kind considerate and had very good bedside manners.The assistant and the surgeon explained everything to me. Even though I was quite numb when I left, I still had a smile on my face. Well done, I would refer you again and again. 👍😃

As a Veteran sometimes the VA just cant give the care one needs. Today I was sent to Charleston Oral and Facial to get a tooth extracted. I had left home five hours before I arrived @ the Summerville location. I was in severe pain from a fractured molar. I had been in pain for 3 days. The North Charleston VA set me up an appointment for 2pm. When I arrived at 11:30 I asked if I could get seen sooner. The front desk lady Ashley was extremely nice and helpful. Around 12 noon I was taken back and had the BEST care ever. Painless extraction and very pleasant experience! I am very thankful for everyone there. Desk staff, techs, dental assistants and Dentists were Awesome!! I would give 10 out of 10.

I simply love this place. From start to finish. Courtney is my girl who is going to be there with my child when he has his 4 wisdom teeth remove and I am praying that we have the doctor who we saw today perform his surgery. He made my son felt like he was talking to one of his friends. Simply love this amazing place.

From the initial consult, to my experience with the groups electronic forms and reminder system, this group runs smoothly. I had a fantastic experience right from the start. Appointments were available quickly, Dr. Oliphant was accommodating, confidence building, timely and empathetic. I was able to get an appointment for my oral surgery, one extraction and placement of two implants, within two weeks after consult.The team that day, mid September 2021 at the Ingleside location, made all the difference. The two nurses/surgical techs took their time answering my pre-op question, eliminate my fears and support me in any way possible. I have never been subjected to anesthesia nor have I ever had an even remotely invasive procedure. The team took care of me. Dr. Oliphant was fantastic, exceeding expectations. Total time including prep approx. 45 minutes, about 70 minutes total in the office. The team even indulged my post anesthetic woozy questions.Recovery: no problem at all, its been a week at this time. Prescriptions were called in and ready by the time we arrived at the pharmacy. There was hardly any post surgical comfort and I never really needed any pain medication.Overall: Dr. Oliphant and his team made a believer out of me and completely took my fears. I am more than impressed and am making him and the team my go to for any further dental procedures, needed or out of vanity. Highly recommend the team, highly recommend getting it done. No reason to fear the procedure, nor the recovery period.

Everyone was was very friendly and knowledgeable from the front desk to check out. Everyone was able to answer all my questions and made the consult easy. It made me feel confident that the day of my actual surgery will go just as nicely. And the facility was clean and bright! Which helps a lot with dental procedures.

Our dentist sent us here for a second opinion on what appeared to be a growth in our daughters jaw. They were timely, reassuring, and able to handle the fact that our dentist had not sent over the x ray as promised. I did not have an appointment and was in a great deal of pain due to a broken tooth. They worked me in, saw me within about half an hour, took x-rays etc. and pulled the tooth. They were fantastic and no more pain!

They should offer better help for ppl on disability and health issues fixed income better opportunity to get the help they need cause ppl like me lives on 794 a month and im in server pain with the last nine and on medicade. They only pay 750.00 towards that then i would have to pay 250 dollars to put as a deposit on the surgery room. And i need these out please

I called this office several times in March 2021 to schedule an appointment and each time, I had to leave a message, as they didnt answer their phone. I did get a call back and I made an appointment for a wisdom tooth extraction. The receptionist called me THE DAY of the appointment and said they had to reschedule the appointment. At that time, I made another appointment. On the date of that appointment, I was called again to have to reschedule my appointment. I understand that emergencies come up and I rescheduled that appointment. I needed to reschedule that appointment due to an emergency and I called and left a message, because they didnt answer their phone, that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I left my name and number and never got a returned phone call. I called to try to reschedule the appointment and I was told, by the receptionist, that I was a no show and I needed to pay $35.00 at time of service. At this point, I have yet to see a physician. The physicians office called me twice to reschedule, MY TIME was not an issue with their office when they needed to reschedule but if I need to reschedule, there is a fee. Please! There are way too many physicians in the area for that nonsense! I will go elsewhere!!

This had been the best experience Ive ever had for having an extraction done. The staff was friendly and walked me through the entire process. Dr. Strauss discussed my options and the procedure was quick and the least amount of discomfort Ive ever had during dental work.

I shouldve done this a month ago when it happened, but having a dental emergency and no insurance is a nightmare. They got me in the next day, provided an estimate before proceeding with any treatments and had amazing bedside manner. Im not sure of the doctors name but him and Amber were both sweethearts, I would recommend in a heart beat.

My appointment was 11/10/2020 to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed. I am 48 years old so I was very nervous. I am afraid of the dentist due to past traumas. I was met by a very nice front desk person. I was impressed on how they provide safety during COVID19. Rochelle was awesome. She was meticulous with setting up my room, triple checking my paperwork and needed utensils. As a critical care nurse, I was happy to see this and it also increased my confidence and relaxed my nerves. Ashley was also present and offered assistance to Rochelle. She was so nice. Both of them kept making sure all my needs were met. Dr. Strauss entered my room with confidence and a reassuring touch. He explained what was going to take place and gave me some other options. It showed that he truly cares about his patients and this isnt just a paycheck. The billings clerk (didnt get her name) was very thorough and very kind. She didnt make me feel rushed. I truly see why you guys have such a high score. Your establishment is truly a refreshment and much needed for people like me. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for giving me such great caring care.

I had a horrible experience. Dr strauss has HORRIBLE bed side manner. He made me feel stupid and did not take but 20 seconds with me before I was put to sleep. I then had to go back for dry socket twice and they did a poor job on instructing me on aftercare w my dry socket. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. Dr Strauss speaks in a demeaning manner and is very very rude.

The staff was friendly and fast. I went to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. The operating room was so calm and comfortable. They had soft music playing gave me a warm blanket to combat the cold room. After the procedure they called me the next day to make sure I was recovering well. I well reccomend to any and everyone.

Although I wasn’t aware of the whole procedure for the implant the staff went out of their way to make me feel better and guide me in the right direction. The surgery itself was great because I don’t remember anything 🤣. Healing is taking forever but in the end it’s worth it. The staff and dentist were simply amazing from the moment I stepped foot in the door. The post op instructions were clear and everything went smoothly.

Horrible, HORRIBLE!!!I went to them with a simple extraction. I am covered by a dental plan. COFS is still charging almost $700 for an extraction. They claimed that they accepted the plan. When I asked why the billing department started yelling at me. Price gouging and horrible service. Use anyone other than this practice when you have dental work to be done. If this post is removed I will repost it again. Horrible.

Dr. Sarathy and his staff are wonderful. Very professional and so personable. I had (what I consider) major surgery/implants, and they helped me feel very at ease and constantly asked how I was feeling and if I needed anything. I was referred to Dr. Sarathy by two local dentists and I am so grateful I went with him and his practice.

Everyone who was involved in my case was competent, professional, and caring. Dr. Strauss and his team did a fantastic job and I am very pleased with the results. Kindra was very helpful in discussing options for me for financials and scheduling. Nick was friendly and helpful and took time to explain each procedure to me. Angela checked on me prior to and after surgery and patiently answered all my questions. The front office staff was helpful and friendly. Dr Strauss took time to explain different procedures in detail, and help me choose the best option for my case. I never felt rushed during my appointments, and was always given the option to come in for extra appointments if I had additional concerns or questions. I received excellent care from everyone I encountered at the practice.

Dr. Strauss is a natural! MeanIng Oral and Facial surgery are definitely his callIng. He preformed oral surgery on my tooth - #14, input bone graf and an implant. I never had any pain or discomfort that two Ibuprofens couldnt relieve. I was down the entire day of surgery but was painting the laundry room the next day. I would recommend Charleston Oral Facial Surgery. Nice folks and very caring the entire process.

First, let me say I have a huge fear of having any dental work done. With that being said, the staff and surgeon where great! They made me feel very comfortable and I was in and out of there in no time. I had no problems at all and my mouth healed very quickly post surgery, as well as them contacting me to make sure all was well. I highly recommend them.

Amazon work extremely professional and very caring. I had a issue after surgery and the nurse gave me the ability to text her if it didnt get better to help reassure my nerves. I was very impressed with the Surgeon and all of the staff at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery! They definitely make you comfortable and they are extremely polite. I went for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation on a Monday, and was scheduled for my wisdom teeth extraction that Thursday! Ill be honest- I wasnt too happy that I had to go visit Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery because it wasnt going to be under pleasant circumstances. I was having a tooth extraction surgery, which no one wants to have happen and so I was very anxious about the whole thing.However, when I went in for my consult appointment, I was really surprised at the whole experience. The team was very welcoming and answered all my questions. I met the doctor who would be doing my surgery, Dr. Oliphant, and he answered all my questions and was really encouraging about options to get a tooth back in there when the time was right on my end. I left the consult appointment feeling better about the whole thing. They also gave me a welcome gift! Very nice touch!The surgery went well- the team got me in and made sure I didnt have any questions before they got started. I was pretty nervous, but again- they ensured me that everything would go smoothly and they went over the post-opt directions so that I could make a speedy recovery. Dr. Oliphant came in, made sure I was ready to go and they put me to sleep while he and his team did their thing and...just like that the surgery was over.The staff called me the next day to see how I was doing with my recovery and if I had any post-op questions. I really appreciated them doing that.Im on day 3 of recovery as I write this and its going well. Its weird not having that tooth there, but Im following their very detailed post-op guide, which has been really helpful.I would HIGHLY recommend this group if you have any oral/facial surgery that needs to be done. Everyone was great! I had all four wisdom teeth removed. Surgery went smooth. I very little pain. A lot of soreness, but the meds helped all of that. They called and checked on the next day. I called a few times with a few questions. They called me back in a timely manner and answered my questions.

Went in for a typical wisdom tooth pull and everyone was very nice and professional. Quick and efficient, it’s been two days post surgery and there is no pain and no swelling. It’s all been wonderful. Would highly recommend!

Horrible customer service when it comes to insurance! I set up my appointment 2 weeks ahead of time, did my paperwork, submitted my insurance etc and even asked if they took my insurance because I was coming from another state. Well...... I drove 4 hours only to get there and be told that they ran my insurance the day before and they couldn’t use it.Why didn’t they call me as soon as it was run and denied ? I NEVER received a call about it! Even the day of! Poor poor communication skills on that! I heard this was an amazing doctor but apparently the insurance worker is horrible! I’ve worked in a doctors office and it’s always important to run insurance and notify patients ASAP of complications with it.Now I’ll be enjoying my 4 hour ride back home for no reason. Thanks

One tooth extracted and a post put in another area for an implant. I was awake, numbed, and felt no pain at all. Very little pain that night. The people there are all very personable, caring and professional. I highly recommend the practice.

My wife Ashley, just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. Its been about 2 hours since the removed them and they just called to check on her to see how she was. Great place, great people. Everyone is super nice and makes you feel so comfortable. First time ever having anything done with them, but if we need them in the future this is the pace we will be going.I cant quite remember the doctors name, but it was a Male and he did a wonderful job, she was in and out within 30-45 min for all 4 teeth.

Had my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and honestly feel like I’m recovering incredibly compared to how my friends have complained about the work done on them at different offices. Great experience, caring and friendly staff. Had 3 wisdom teeth pulled, first time being put to sleep so naturally I was little nervous but they made it a good experience and put me at ease.

I was well cared for during the entire visit. I had surgery to remove my bottom, innermost wisdom teeth. I was put under sedation for the procedure, which took about an hour. When I woke up, my wife and the nurses got me up and ready to go without issue. I am recovering nicely. Id recommend CO&FS to anyone who needs this type of care.

Dr. Lee is the best! I had a tooth removed on 8/19 and I have felt little to no pain at all. I was scared about the procedure but they reassured me everything would be fine. I will be returning for any other work that I need done.

Great experience, IV sedation to extract 2 wisdom teeth by Dr. Oliphant I dont remember much of it the staff did a great job relaxing my frayed nerves. If I had to do it again Id definitely do it the same way. I had 3 consultations and I dont regret my choice.

Everyone is very professional and friendly. My son, who is 10, felt comfortable and they made him feel at ease. Dr. Sarathy is a wonderful oral surgeon and his assistants are fantastic. The only regret I have is that they didn’t give my son his tooth. He would have liked to have had it especially since it had to be surgically removed from his gums. But overall, we are very pleased with our experience from start to finish!

I had to have an emergency procedure and Dr. Strauss was able to see me on very short notice. I was greeted in a friendly manner, I found the staff to be professional and knowledgeable and very comforting. I had a wonderful experience under the care of Dr Strauss and his staff at Charleston Oral and Facial Surgery. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, and I was called back almost immediately to get started with my procedure. The staff made me very comfortable, and Dr. Strauss took time to explain my procedure to me, showing me models of the area of my surgery, and answering my questions. The staff was very attentive during my prep for the procedure, and explained each step to me. I was under sedation for the procedure, so I dont remember anything from the procedure itself! When I woke up, Dr. Strauss and his team explained post-op instructions to me and my husband. We felt very confident that we knew how to handle my recovery. My recovery went exceptionally well, and I felt that I could have called Dr. Strauss office with any questions and concerns at any time. I had a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Dr. Strauss and his team!

Outstanding service and very pleasant people, they made a normally stressful procedure seem like a walk in the park. Their continuous information on the procedure was a great reassurance they are true professionals at what they do. They were very kind and considerate.
