Griffs Barber Shop on Ladson Road in Summerville is a great place to get the haircut you need when you want it done. They are consistent in their quality and get the job done. The staff here is professional and does a good job in their work. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

They’ve cut my son’s hair a few times and did really well with him. He was two when he got his first cut and they were so patient. Did a good job on the cut and price is reasonable.

The lady barber cut my hair. She did a pretty good job. Nothing amazing, but more than I expected for the time it took and the value. Nice barber shop.

Been going here for 15 years. No muss no fuss. Go in, get my hair cut, pay and leave. Come back next month and do it again. I dont want or need any special attention or coddling in my barbershop. Getting a haircut is just a chore I want done and over. Thats what they do and do it well. Best part is I almost never have to wait. Love the place. Hope you come but dont be there when Im there because this place is my secret.

Good people, and give a good fade. Prices are on point, sitting area is comfy. We got cuts for my boys and I and they let my son take a WW2 book along for the road trip. Very cool.

I have been going to Mr. Tommy for years, even when I moved to a not so convenient part of Charleston, I still drove the distance to the Oakbrook shop to get a haircut. When he was out of work having surgery, I had to use someone else, I complained about the cut and the need to return in 2 weeks, this made me appreciate him so much more. My haircut is always clean and crisp and I usually get compliments in the days after the cut. I can also go a month without needing to go back. One of the best in the area and at very reasonable price, I show my appreciation by tipping well.

The guys here are good at their job they know what to do you just have to give them an idea but you can still ask for what you want there.

Ive been going to Griffs since I moved to Summerville in 2013. Ive had both guys and the lady cut my hair, and all three have done great jobs. I wont go anywhere else.

I am so upset with what they did to my husbands hair. The people were nice but He went in and asked if they could do a fade, the woman told him she could so he sat down and when he came out his hair was butchered! There was no fade it was the same length all the way around with hair on top.. they didnt even tape him up evenly. He has long hair in spots.. just omg never again, if she didnt know how to do it she should have said no idc if youre hurting for clients or not you can do this to people and expect them to come back... Hopefully once we get home I can do something to fix this until it grows back out and he gets somewhere else.. if you dont want a simple shave or trim.. please stay away from here, you will leave very upset.. Im just at a loss for words and definitely feel bad when he goes into work on monday..

Not impressed. I went in for a cut, military style with no fade. I like a box razor used to cut it down to the skin on the sides and back. The older gentleman cutting my hair never even heard of one. I will not he back. I dont know how they stay in business.

Personally I think they do a great job. Mr.Tommy does a great job. When I was little he cut my hair Everytime I went down there. So Mr.tommy you do a great job and Mr.Billy and Mrs. laura yall are amazing and love the haircuts. Haters back off🚫❌

I went into Griffs today on 5/27 to get a High and Tight, the lady told me she Could it with no problem. Well after about 2 mins shes turning me around and told me that I was finished ( which was and extremely short amount of time) I had to ask her afterwards to trim up the back of my neck and around my ears ( because she didnt originally). Well I sat there looked in the mirror and told her that my hair cut wasnt right and she proceeded to tell me that will be 12$ I said maam this isnt a high amd tight well she didnt respond so I took it on the chin and paid. As Im driving I look Im the mirror and realize that something was different, well I finally get to mirror with decent lighting to realize not only do I not have a high and tight ( by the way I am prior service) but my hair looks like a 5 year old took the clippers to my hair. Needless to say ill never go back nor will I refer anyone to your barbershop.

The worst hair cut ever, do it yourself with a blindfold before you walk in this place, I think they were bothered that I walked in, should have left when I realized there was no one else in the store, rating worst barber shop experience in my life.
