Other than the whole checkin online system being utterly pointless because people sitting inside get skipped by people checking in online is just an idiotic way to handle customers……otherwise it was wonderful. The ladies all 3 (did me and both my sons) listened to our explanation of style and were polite about minor adjustments as we went. No attitude or superiority complex we get from other places. $17 for a haircut then asking for tips is a bit much to me but still very happy with the cuts.

This place is great for my husband. It has been great for my older son but not so much my youngest son. Some of the hairstylists could really learn how to deal with younger children.

I’ve been taking my son to Sports Clips for most of this life. The value in the price is the fantastic customer service. We’re new to the area. When it comes to customer service, this is by far the worst Sports Clips I’ve ever been to. Strike three. Today will be our last visit to a Sports Clips.

Usually get my haircut here. Unfortunately the wait was out a couple hours. Still like the haircuts I get here but time was not on their side

Okay I’ve had some great haircuts here and it’s why I was willing to spend such an obnoxious amount on a haircut (seriously a true barbershop doesn’t cost this much) but the last two times I’ve been it looks like the girl was drunk and trying to fade. There’s no fade cause I’ve got lines wrapped around my head, plus those lines aren’t even straight. The left side of my head is faded an inch higher than the right. Also I don’t understand the last two women who have cut my hair fade a line like a bowl on my head, I’ve never had a fade that doesn’t drop down some in the back. I’m going to have to find a new place to get a haircut. If you want an expensive fade that looks like you’re letting you’re wife give the clippers a shot you’re in luck.

First off, I want to thank Kayley at the SportClips Azalea location in Summerville, SC. My son is in the JRAFROTC at Cane Bay High School. We took him to get an approved military haircut. The last salon really messed things up so we took a chance on SportClips and Im so glad we did. This is a perfect place for any guy to get the VIP treatment they deserve. This location is very clean,easy in and out visit, but still giving there very best to serve the customer, friendly, educate the clients on proper haircare,garrentee the work,free in between cuts to keep you looking sharp. The hot towels after a shampoo and massage therapy made getting the shortest haircut my son every had more easy to accept. Thank you all so much and for the wonderful hair products you all use!!

Easy to get in and good haircut.

As most Sports Clips go, this one too is hit or miss. I have had great haircuts and I have had horrible haircuts. That is often the case with chain salons like this. Unless you find someone you really like and ask for that stylist every time, you never know what youre gonna get. But thats the risk you run for convenience and low price.

I came in as a walk in with my 3 grands and daughter. Being unfamiliar with the online appointments, they signed us in, but neglected to tell us that the wait would be 1 hour plus. They never spoke to us one way or the other. I could see that they were busy, but someone should have let us know that they couldnt fit us in. Left and went to another establishment who let us know our wait time and was able to give everyone hair cuts.

Worst haircut Of my life I explained very well in detail exactly what I wanted and I got the complete opposite worst haircut ever I will never go back again and I highly recommend you do not take anyone to get a haircut here they do not know how to cut hair! Also they called me back half an hour later and tried saying my card didn’t go through when I checked my account it did.

Id give Sports Clips a zero because thats what they gave me, zero service. I waited over 30 minutes to be seen and not once did any of the folks that work there ever acknowledged me. When I tried to talk with one of them, she told me to wait a minute then walked away and never came back. Customer service is not there.

App tells me there is no wait, I arrive 6 minutes later and I’m told I have to check in for safety reasons. Ok cool. Go to check in and the wait time is now 84 minutes. Ok, no problem. I’ll just get some food. Get a message not even 30 minutes later saying my stylist available. Go back to sport clips and I’m told I have to wait. Absolute joke

Pretty poor customer service, when you try to check-in online and there is an issue with the website where it wont send link SMS or via email, and you call the store to get assistance..... just to be told there is nothing they can do. The reply from the associate was to just come in the store and put my name on the list. I guess due to her incompetence, she could not understand the purpose of online check in was to not come in the store and wait. I asked if they could go ahead and do it manually on their side.... the reply was we can get in trouble if we do that.

Only place my younger boys werent afraid to get there hair cut. The people are very friendly and engaging with children. Helps make them comfortable. Now my boys ask when they are going to get a hair cut again.

If I could give less than one star I would they are so under qualified especially the lady I saw. Lazy under qualified and unprofessional are just a few things about sports clips but to give me the haircut I just received you have to be just plain stupid I could do a better job

Darlene did a fantastic job for my husband. He didn’t have to wait more than 5 mins once we got there. We had earlier gone to a barbershop in Mount Pleasant that charged us $70 for a straight razor hair cut and high fade, but it ended up being super choppy. We were going to ask them to fix it but the lady didn’t seem to understand what was wrong so we just left and decided to go somewhere else that could do a quick fix. Thankfully, we met Darlene that took some that was totally screwed up and fixed it for a fraction of the cost. Thank you!

Last time I go here. Signed in to a no line wait and one other sitting in the waiting room. One person cutting hair and 4 stylists at the store. Waited 15 mins while the three other employees were doing I don’t know what. Quality of service has gone down hill at this particular location. Much better options out there close by.

My boyfriend and I went here when he got his hair cut. It was okay, it was my first time ever going. I though the place was so-so.They had a game on which is fun, but I felt very awkward sitting there. Maybe if they had it playing loudly it would be different.As for cutting your hair, I have to admit my boyfriend looked super cute afterwards. His hair was wayyyy too long, and he needed it cut. I felt like they didnt do the best though. It was uneven in the front, which annoyed me for awhile. I can still kinda tell almost 2 months later. She also didnt get all the hair off his face, so I had to brush it off myself when we left.I felt like it was more of a $7-$8 haircut than $20 something personally.

Epic fail today from my barber shop of 5 years. The place was not busy with extra people in uniform in view. After waiting 20 minutes and 5 additional minutes watching the mess behind the check out counter I quietly left. Too many other options for a haircut in this world for that. Sorry Sport Cuts. You are ejected from the game.

Love the place just wish the stylist would stay longer. Every time I find a good stylist I come back the next month to find she is no longer there. Its hard to find people who can cut hair good and still get the pampering you get at sport clips.

Was greeted and signed in while there were several others who had done online check in which is a joke. I was next in line and as someone freed up an online check in came in and took the next chair. This continued and I sat there for 30 mins to ask how much longer the wait would be when I was told it would be 87 minutes which then would be after closing time so I just wasted 30 minutes of my time watching people get their haircut. If you’re in the store before the other 37 people I don’t see why you should get bumped back in line over and over again. Needless to say I won’t visit great clips.

New check in system is awesome! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Nikki did a great job on my hair. Ive had the pleasure of having Amanda do my hair also. She always does a good job!

I’ve taken all three of my children to Great Clips to have their hair cut this week. They are great with kids and they do a wonderful job cutting their hair at an affordable price. I would recomend checking in online to avoid a wait.

I have been to Sports Clips main street Summerville and have had Sandra cut my hair for the past 3 years. Every time I was greeted by any of the stylist with a professional and friendly demeanor. I have never been dissatisfied with any style or service that Ive received. I would recommend to anyone that wants to receive top notch service, haircut, shampoo, style and massage with the MVP service to make an appointment or to just stop in because you will not be disappointed! On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, I give this shop and its personnel 10 every time.

Very nice haircut. I wish the Personnel turnover was not so high. Its nice to visit the same hair stylist two or three times in a row, rather than getting a different stylist each time.

My boyfriend got an AWFUL haircut at this location today!! He is so displeased. The hairline is messed up all around and the woman clearly didnt know what a fade was. She was talking the whole time to someone else about her rash while the girl she was talking to messed up another poor guys hair! He left looking LAUGHABLE! Luckily my bf has great hair and it grows quick. Do NOT go here!

Great service for the money

Quite frankly the worst cut Ive ever received. I was very specific on what it was I wanted..I asked for a fade, and the back of my head is blotchy, uneven, and janky. Theres a very pronounced line around my head. The shaved parts are uneven and messed up. The girl that cut it was employee of the month thats the one reason I chose her online. It only took her 20 minutes at most to complete it that was way too quick. She also at the end of the cut didnt show me what she had done, didnt allow me to check the work out, show me the back of it, none of that. I didnt even think about that until I left, went home and looked at it through mirrors and pictures. My neck line is uneven, and she went too far up in only one or two spots, and didnt try to blend it at all, the fade isnt blended well at all, hence the pronounced line around my head. Im embarrassed to not have a hat on my head and will probably stay that way for a month or however long it takes for it to grow out. I will never return. Nor will I ever refer anyone. I guess its just a learning lesson tho huh? Smh. Thanks for nothing but a bad cut. Tell your employees to slow down, and make sure they can fade hair. Highly disappointed and extremely angry.

12 September 2012. I went today for just an ordinary haircut. Just a trim, and a little bit of layers because I am trying to grow my hair long. My cut came out uneven, no layers were done, and when I brushed my hair I looked like I was trying to e emulate Justin Biebers hair. Before that, though, she asked me if my head was itching; REAL LOUD. I said, No, of course not. Why do you ask? She then proceeded to accuse me of having head lice and almost didnt finish cutting my hair (that might explain why it was done so poorly). I have never been so embarrassed my entire life. Not to mention that Im a bit of a hypochondriac so now I am itching all over; and not just because I think I have head fleas. Thank you sports clips, I hope you enjoy the $10 tip and pray it can last you for forever. I will never again get my hair cut there or by any of its affiliates. I strongly recommend that everyone stay away from that store by at least 100 feet.

If you close at 6pm and walk in at 530 you be able to get a haircut. When you look at business hours it doesn’t say 6 unless 2 people r in the lobby. Won’t come again don’t worry.

Ive never had a bad experience (some better than others), but today was the best. I wish I could remember her name, but the stylist I had today did an amazing job with my hair. I will definitely be back for the next cut .... and I dont even follow sports lol.

Waited an hour..... was never greated. People that came in after us were served before us. We checked in, but it seems you can check in online and somehow be put ahead of walkins.... guess what after me and my son coming here loyaly for over a year.... we left....will never be back.... good to know we were not appreciated....and one more thing....never saw the same stylest twice in over a year.

Not awful, but the haircut quality is not up to the price. You can get a really good $20 haircut in the area, or you can go to Sportclips. My advice is skip the chain.

All the people there are awesome at their job. I continue to take my son there because they are friendly and do a great job !

When I walked into the place there was no one there to greet me they were all out to lunch I dont know they were all in the back room I had to wait at least 10 minutes before somebody came out haircut was mediocre Sport Clips in Goose Creek is much much better

Nothing here was good. 1- playing a replay of a mid level game from yesterday. 2:-I was told there would be a twenty five minute wait, not a problem...UNTIL 45 minutes later AND two people got services after I walked in. But yet they got set up no more than five minutes after they say down. I Will never go back, not to mention almost $20 for a haircut, please. 1 star is too much for this place!

One satellite box for every TV. 45 minute to 1 hour wait. All tvs on BOWLING. Asked if we could watch something besides bowling, and they said what would you like to watch. I said well I dont care for bowling, basketball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, or track and field. But hey nascar is on right now and that sounds good. So guess what they put it on.....HOCKEY! I said really......? They left it. 5 minutes later it was changed to basketball. Seriously disappointed in this place. Not worth the time or effort. I will be going across the parking to Great Clips, in and out no TV but Im not being charged for a TV to watch there so it is a bit cheaper anyway. Sport clips suck. Oh and if the point is that all the women wear spandex pant to appeal to the men, maybe they should rethink who they hire. They have about the same taste for appeal to the customers as Hooters. We know what it is supposed to be but..... Uh....no they missed it by a time zone.

Wish I could give negative stars. My son spent all summer growing out his hair. Went in for a trim and clean up around the ears...he came out ALMOST BALD. He basically has a wide mohawk with uneven lines. The fade Liz gave him is ON TOP of his head. I have never seen a hair cut so bad in my 23 years as a mom! Past 4-5 cuts were bad..but this is a totally different story. DONT waste your money!

I took my 9 year old in for a haircut. The wait time was manageable. He gets the cut and I give him the money to settle up. She over charged him and then once his hair dried off the whole cut was crooked. We wont be back there again.

Oh My God, Unbelievably Rude Manager. I am a Combat Veteran with a Service Dog. The manager Andrea, demanded that my dog must have a vest or Tag on her collar. I explained the Americans with Disabilities Act & laws. She said that she didnt care, that I still had to take the dog out. I showed her my Military ID, and an American with Disabilities Service Dog law card, and she said thats all I needed, then THREW the card across the counter at me. Thank you Sports Clips, for supporting Disabled American Veterans..

Sat down after putting my name on the list and there were only 5 other people before me, so I sat down and waited. A few others walked in after me and after one or two of those people got their hair cut before mine I got up and walked out. So a waste of an hour of my life and I never even got my hair cut. If I could give them zero stars I would. I have been using sports clips for many years and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had with them. I will now find another place to get my hair cut. Its too bad this is the straw that broke the camels back.👎

They usually do a pretty great job on my boys hair.

Been using this place for awhile... Today was the last. After I had to reshow missed hairs, she then takes the gown off so badly that all my hair went into my lap. Her reply...ops sorry. At this point I figured she would grab a towel or hair dryer... NOPE! So my face, lap, neck, clothes are covered in hair and shes at the register waiting for me. Piss poor service.

Had to go back to get my hair fixed by another stylist. The first one was the laziest person Ive met in a long time. A mohawk is not hard to do. The second stylistic took her time to get it right. I left with my hair gelled and looking normal. The first girl tried to gel it, but made it look like someone sat on my head and farted. She allowed me to walk out of the shop like that. I was very disappointed.

My son just received an awful cut today! There is no way to save it, it is simply awful. Not only is it noticeably uneven, it is so short there is no way to make it even. There are huge gaps iver his ears and one side is longer than the other. I am simply disgusted! Please learn to cut/style hair before applying for the job!!

Asked for a little off the top, took me down to almost A 2.. Tried talking me into cutting off my beard because she didnt seem comfortable trimming it (so it didnt get touched).. Glad I didnt, because id look way worse off.. Worst fade of my life (I spent 5 years in the military), Never go here if you value your grooming needs.
