My son really enjoys the place she always cuts his hair how he wants he says; unlike a lot of other places!

The lady that cut my sons hair was great.

I wanted a barber to cut my sons hair because the last 3 stylists totally screwed it up. On walking in I wasnt sure if I was in a junk shop or barbershop (there was a clothes rack, tables with books on them, and a lot of other stuff around). Reserving judgement, I told my son to take a seat. The barber, Rita, was pleasant and did a fantastic job on the top and sides of my sons hair. Happy that she knew what she was doing, I stopped scrutinizing. When we left I looked at the back of his hair and it was uneven and choppy. It looked horrible. My husband did his best to fix it when we got home. All in all, it was a $12 haircut. Ive paid $30 and gotten worse, so I feel like I got what I paid for. I wont go back.

Along highway, has BARBER pole outside. Easy to find. Clean, ample parking, feels like a barbers not a big chain store type. Easy access, restroom, fair prices, friendly personal.

Im new to Summervilleand I went to four other barber shops in town but did not get a cut I liked, went to Central and Rita did a super good job on me and has for the past 6 months. I will continue to go back every time.

My experience at the central Ave Barber has always met my expectations. I moved to the area several years ago and shopped around for 6 months trying to find a Barber shop .well i found it, Shop talk is always good, the attentionto detail with my hair cut and shave is alway excellent
