Very professional and efficient I brought him a problem no one else could fix and instead of starting to replace parts are telling me he couldn’t do it he added Freon got me called and told me when I got hot to come back and then he would bill me for the repair. He had to die so that when it leaks out again they will see where it comes from at no charge. Because he provides outstanding service he knows he doesn’t have to rip me off of front but I will definitely be there for any of my radiator and AC repair needs. These guys are awesome. We have been taking our vehicles here for quite a few years. I pulled in just before closing, my driver side window would not go up. Matt took the door apart to find it was just a loose screw. He stayed without complaint to make sure it was fixed. They are all very honest and only fix was is needed. Great service!!

We came down from Wisconsin and our A/C stopped working. We got a quote at a local chain for over $2,000. We called EJ and he put a new condensor in the next day and saved us over $1,300! Dont waste your time ON ANYONE ELSE BUT MIKES! These guys, with EJ at the helm, are nothing short of AMAZING! Four days before our out of state move, we drove our older 4 wheel drive truck to PSL to pick up something and the brakes started burning up. We called the shop and they got us in the next day and fixed them! Then, the very next day, we drove to Orlando and on the way back, the truck had a fuel pump failure (diagnosed by the team at Mikes) and we were stuck on the turnpike for 2 hours waiting on AAA to send a tow truck...which took us straight to Mikes. Once again, knowing that we were to leave on a long distance trip in 2 days, jumped on the problem and not only fixed that but also replaced the shocks, and some other much needed front end work and had it all completed in 1 day. We cant thank them enough for working hard to not only fix the ole trucks problems, but doing it in record time! And most importantly, they did the job RIGHT! Not only that....their charges are reasonable and fair. Thank you all so much again!!

My mother is turning 90 years old and lives in an Assisted Living in Stuart. Her AC in her 2001 Chrysler broke, so she took it to the dealer. She has been taking her car to the same dealer since it was purchased. The dealer told her the part it needed would be $1,200 and that they couldnt get it anymore so they couldnt fix her car. I live in another town, so I researched AC repair places in Stuart online and came across Mikes. I called and told them the situation and they said for her to bring her car in and they would take a look at it for free. She took her car there this morning. They looked at it and fixed it while she waited. The part that the car needed was under $200 and they got the part from that same Chrysler dealer that said they couldnt fix it. Matt worked on my moms car and Mike and Matt made sure she was comfortable and sat in their air conditioned office while they worked on her car. Thank you Matt and Mike for taking such good care of my momma and for being such honest, trustworthy and kind people. If you need any auto work, please take your vehicle here and tell your friends. During this summer of 90 degrees before you open your eyes in the morning it was a major relief to have my AC in my 14 year old car diagnosed and filled with Freon all in a matter of minutes. THE BEST IVE FOUND!Ive been coming to Pro auto for awhile now. I drive a rebuilt wreck so that if I hit the headliner with easels and leak paint and medium I can still sleep at night. This van has put many mechanics to the test! Twice Ive been sent away from others with problems. Pro Auto would never do that. They can handle anything! EJ and the guys really know what they are doing. Ive been back many times now for many different things. They always work with me, keep me informed and keep the costs down. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I used to bring my vehicle to Mikes Radiator: Ken was a gifted and reasonably priced, old-school car guy, with no upselling (along with his mechanic, Matt). So I was disappointed to see him retire and sell. Today I brought my car to the new shop, Pro Auto, for an evaluation of my air-con. Great to see that Matt is still there. He spent 15 min inspecting the air-con, found all okay, and the manager did not charge me! Made my day!

I am one of the directors of a local museum “Road to Victory Military Musuem “ Which is behind Veterans memorial Park near downtown Stuart. We are a 5013c and as a non profit every penny counts more then anything especially when we charge no admission fee. The Musuem has a program called the “Rangers” Which consists of young men and Woman from the ages of 14 to 21. Well after we had the honor of being in the Hobe Sound xmas parade a few of our older jeeps overheated. I went in and met Matt who said he would take a look and repair if need be. Upon picking up the radiator a few days later they did a pressure test and flush at no charge. Mikes Radiator is by far the most honest shop in the area. After taking my car to mechanic after mechanic, Mikes Radiator was able to fix my car for a fraction of the price that I had been quoted by other mechanics. Im not a car guy, but he explained things in a way that I can understand and it made me feel much more comfortable with getting the repairs done. Ill be taking cars here from now on!

Do yourself a favor and dont go here. It took extra time to do something simple and instead of doing what they were supposed to which is simply go by the book (i.e. if the normal time to replace something is 1 hour, they are only supposed to charge for 1 hour) but instead they charged me for the extra time so it cost me an arm and a leg.

Updated - April 15, 2020I just had my daughters car serviced and again was extremely please with the work and the customer service from Mikes. EJ contacted us about anything that had not been approved from the estimate and any suggested work was realistic considering the cars age. We had the feeling that work done follows the Golden Rule.We had lost the refrigerant in our 2003 Hondas AC and our regular mechanic had recharged the system with refrigerant and dye but could not find the leak. After losing the refrigerant again in a very short period of time the suggestion was a new compressor. I had remembered someone else highly recommending Mikes. I called on Friday had an appointment for Monday and it was repaired by Monday afternoon. They quickly diagnosed the problem and Ken called with the estimate, which was for one of the evaporators, much less costly than a compressor which of course would not have fixed the leak anyway. When we picked up the car Ken explained what they found, the work done, and showed us the old evaporator. To top it off the work was done for less than his original estimate. I am now another one of Mikes happy customers that can highly recommend their honest service.

I brought my van in twice, once for the AC and once for oxygen sensors. On both occasions it was something very minor and they are very honest about what the problems were. The AC repair was only $45 and the oxygen sensor was a misplaced air filter which they fixed for free. I am so glad to have found an honest mechanic and I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Almost two years ago, I took my 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a new radiator. Matt worked on my Jeep and did a great job.Prior to the radiator replacement, I had ANOTHER local shop fix my air conditioning weeks later and my Jeeps dashboard torn apart, I got my Jeep back. It was never quite right. Both the A/C and the noises that it made.Just days before this past fourth of July (2019), I had enough of the cold air turning warm or just giving up. I decided to try Mikes Radiator and see if Matt is still there. When I arrived, I was greeted by the owner E.J and to my surprise, Matt walked in. I explained to both of them what my Jeeps symptoms were.Before I knew it, I received a call from E.J stating that he and Matt figured out what was causing my Jeep to start blowing warm air after I drove my Jeep more than 30 minutes or so. A Jeep dealership in Palm Beach Gardens could not even figure it out (after days leaving it with them).Thank you E.J and Matt for doing a great job. I am very particular with who works on my Jeep. Ive taken both my cars there and they always crush the ridiculous prices that the dealership tries to charge. Once I took my van into the dealership before a year long road trip and they told me it would be $3800 to fix several things to ensure a safe trip. Mikes made all the recommended repairs for $800.Another time, one of our cars died in our driveway; and one of the mechanics actually came to our house on his way to work to diagnose the problem and got it going so we could get it to the shop and they fixed it.

Honest, fast, even fixed a small problem with my window at no extra charge. Second time theyve serviced my car. No upselling or BS. Showed me the faulty part afterward, not that I had any doubts. Would highly recommend Mikes to anyone.

This place is great. My wife took her car to Pep Boys for the air cond. and she was told that she needed a new compressor and it would be $1500. I called Honda and they said the newer Honda compressors hardly ever go bad and it would cost about $850 if it was bad. I looked online and seen Mikes AC was rated very high so I thought I would give it a try. They fixed the problem, which was not a compressor, for $250. Pepboys down right lied to my wife because they figured they could pocket all that money from a female that doesnt no anything about cars. I dont know much either, but Im glad she called me before she agreed to be taken.
