The personnel at this Ammco have on three occasions made me feel like I was back in time, when customer service was still a thing. I had a transmission replaced in one of our vehicles with absolutely no issues, and had to take the same vehicle back for other reasons and received the same professional service. Again I haven’t felt this level of confidence in a company in decades.

I recently thought my transmission was leaking and gave these guys a call. They had me come by the shop right away and had my car in the air within 10 minutes of calling. They quickly identified the real problem (not transmission) and also got me a recommendation to fix it and to replace my very bald tires. The customer service and attitude of every single employee was 10/10! They were incredibly knowledgeable and explained everything patiently to this non mechanic. I highly recommend them for your car needs!!

This shop is definitely worthy of their excellent ratings. I brought my 2014 Ram 1500 to Curtis and Wayne after a horrible experience with another shop that would not, and could not, complete the repair I paid them for. The guys at Stuart Aamco graciously offered to look at it and give me their expert opinion. Come to find out my computer was causing problems and needed to be re-calibrated. This fixed the truck. My only regret is not bringing it to them in the first place.Thank you for being honest experts.

The charges were less than expected, they walked us through the warranty process, and we never felt like we were being over charged. Curtis was awesome. He was able to put me on the schedule next day. He not only told me about what was wrong with my transmission but he brought to my attention that my tires were getting dangerously bald after I had previously taken it to a different mechanic who failed to mention it. From my experience with them, they seem like a legitimately honest and caring team which is hard to find in a lot of similar companies.

My check engine light was on, went to two different repairs shops and was given estimates of a couple of hundred dollars to replace a part, with not further investigation, just went on the diagnostic check sheet AutoZone provided. Decided to get one last check at At Curtis’s shop. He ran another diagnostic check at no cost and said he would do some research and get back to me. He called the next day and informed me the part needed was an actual recall and covered by GM. Curtis was professional took the time to explain the issue with me. I highly recommend this shop! I received excellent customer service! Steven was very helpful and courteous. I had a transmission line blow out on my way from West Palm Beach to Port St. Lucie and was stranded. Called this shop and they gave me the number to the tow service they use and said they could possibly fix same day after I described the issue. Got me in the shop, replaced the line, and back on the road in around 4 hours. Washed the undercarriage because it was covered with transmission fluid and drove the car to make sure the transmission wasnt burned up. Equally important, they didnt make me feel stupid for driving it longer than I should have after I noticed it was smoking. And didnt try to charge me for repairs I didnt need. Very pleased with this place all around!

Took my truck in on Wednesday had a leak coming from underneath somewhere around the transmission area not sure what it was . Asked if they can service my transmission and my differential and find what the leak was . All was taken care of fast and at a reasonable price and very professional . I cant say it enough, having a trustworthy mechanic is worth a million dollars!I work in the Automotive Tire industry (a competitor) and receive a discount if I take my personal car to our stores... but Id rather pay full price and get it done correctly the first time and form a team I can trust! I love the new owner and his crew! Customer service at an auto shop at its finest! Theyre straight shooters and avoid over diagnosing to bill more.I drive an old 2002 Ford, and every time I bring it in for repair, I always ask to look at something else. This time I need my AC fixed but I was also having problems starting the car in the mornings, They fixed my AC in no time but they could not find any other problem, they did not guess or start fixing something else; they told me to wait until the problem is more prominent . I love it. Most shops would just guess and bill, and then say oops, thatll be $400 more...Highly recommend these guys!John B

The Transmission went in my 2002 Ford Taurus, I am disabled and live on a fixed income, I thought for sure this was going to cost me a small fortune, I was wrong. I dropped the car off and they gave me a ride home, and within two days the car was done, they picked me up! Curtis showed me what they did how they did and the pricing, very fair and very reasonable, now I have a car that runs like its brand new I would give this shop a 10 service part and labor all for a great deal.

All in all, these guys gave me a great price to fix my Honda Pilot and they did the work in a reasonable amount of time. They went above and beyond and alerted me that I had two bad motor mounts.Since the transmission was already out they only charged me for the parts and not the labor since the labor was done. Truly remarkable service! I would recommend AAMCO of Stuart to anyone else in the area that needs work done.

The manager/owner was very honest & helpful. He gave us plenty of options to choose from. He went into great detail with what was wrong with the car, even down to showing us an old faulty piece. It was the luckiest day I ever had when i pulled into the shop and met Curtiss Rasmussen and his wife today. They diagnosed my problem and as I waited offered water and snacks. I was pretty shaken up about my transmission but Curtiss couldnt have been nicer. I will be returning Monday to fix the leak and Curtiss has offered a ride back to work. I have been to AAMCO a couple of times with the new ownership/Moti and have had nothing but great service. I own a 2004 Toyota Tundra with 365,000 miles . AMMCO has done the brakes, ball joints, A/C and Transmission work with GREAT success. I had warranty work done recently @ AAMCO with no problems, no arguments and best of all ; NO Charge. We have had our vans transmission worked on by this particular Aamco twice. Both times under different owners. After the second repair, a third owner, Curtiss, took over.Prior to Curtiss arrival, we brought our van in after it had started stalling off and on at lights or when driving under 20 mph. The problem was diagnosed as a transmission issue and we paid just under 3k to replace and insure it, since this was the second time we replaced it in 3 years. The very day we picked the van up with its new transmission it stalled again on idle. We went back to the Aamco to let them know but they said there wasnt really anything they could do just then.Over the next 6-8 weeks the problem grew so bad that the van had to be turned off at each light. Several times the van had to be pushed through intersections (thanks to Stuarts SD who did this – twice!). The van was a hazard, and we were disgusted. We have had the van to so many repair shops over the years and each time we were either unimpressed or disappointed. We wanted to find an honest and reliable business that we could trust.After weighing our limited options, we wound up taking the van back to Aamco. It was one of the best decisions weve made. The new owner, Curtiss, wowed us by fixing the problem - a computer issue – at no charge.Curtiss is friendly, professional, and honest. He regularly called us while our van was at his shop to give us updates. We deeply appreciated that he could understand the position we were put in after we paid nearly 3k for a repair our van apparently did not need. And even though it was not on his watch, he took care of the problem.When we had what might have been an issue with the alternator, we took the van right back to Aamco. We dropped it off before they opened. Curtiss called us first thing to find out what was happening. Turns out it was a battery lead that was loose and that plus an oil change set us back 40 bucks. Curtiss called us before the end of the day to let us know the van was ready for pick up.Prompt, honest, friendly - I highly recommend this Aamco and hope that Curtiss and his wife, Sara, continue to own and operate it for years to come.

I want to personally thank the new Owner at Aamco in Stuart; I had gone there before for repairs and had some lingering problems that I could not afford to fix at the time. I do have to say I did not care for the last owner as I felt a bit confused with the previous assessment. It was refreshing to see how caring Moti was, he expressed genuine concern to make things right and to quickly repair my car. Being a woman who understands little about cars, I really appreciated that they really took the time to run several diagnostic tests and gave me a very inexpensive alternative to fix it. My car is now running perfectly. They also put me in an oil change schedule that will notify me when I need to go for an oil change. Love these guys!

Curtiss here at Aamco has provided the best services I have ever experienced with car repairs! He is extremely knowledgable, takes the time to explain everything that is going on with the vehicle, what is not working, what that component is for, why it needs to be replaced, and how it will be replaced. My wife and I dropped $1,700 into transmission repairs and he was very honest and straight forward, then recently took her car back for engine issues and he only charged us labor since we are going through some hard personal times. He is not workin on the A/C in my car, I will always be taking our vehicles to him.

Oh. My. God!!. This is the best experience Ive ever had with a car repair shop!! I had just gotten my car back from an accident and my check engine light goes on. Great right? Not only that my car stopped shifting gears but I had to get the car towed. I took it to the VW dealer and they said new transmission... Thats $4000+!! Took it here and guess what, the hose blewl!!!! They replaced the hose, filled it with transmission fluid and like magic, my car is back on the road. They were SO honest with me and kept me updated and in the loop the whole time, . Car was in on Monday and out on Tuesday. Super thankful for this place, I definitely wont be going anywhere else for my car services ツ thanks Moti and the rest of the team! You are THE BEST!

I always read reviews before selecting a new service. I was hesitant to call since like the customer that gave a negative review, I was just looking for installation. I called several shops and most of them refused to install it without an explanation. When I called Aamco, a gentleman explained very professionally that their policy is not to install parts from other sources since often these are Chinese parts that are low quality. He was right, I found thousands of bad reviews so I am returning the part. I went to Aamco who gave me a one year, 12,000 miles warranty on labor & parts. This speaks volumes about the fact that they stand behind their product.I think the customer who left a negative review is simply a miserable person! I rarely take the time to leave a review but after getting excellent service I wanted to voice my opinion. You do not leave a negative review when you have not received any service & you dont like a business policy that protects their reputation. Aamco has earned my business!!

My 2008 Nissan Quest, had a bad transmission. I called Stuart AAMCO and Bobby (the manger) had a tow truck at my home within an hour. I was skeptical at first because I had a read a couple of bad reviews, so I sat down with Bobby and went over everything and he guaranteed it would not exceed a number that I was comfortable with. I came to Aamco with my 2014 Jeep Cherokee for a second opinion expecting bad news. I was told at another shop that I needed a new transmission at it would cost me $6,500. Aaamco did a free inspection & found a loose piece near the transmission. They ordered the piece and fixed it for less than $200. They also offered me a coupon and I was able to get my oil & filter changed for $19.95. Moti and Preston are very honest. I was pretty desperate and would have paid anything below $6,500. I would recommend them a 1,000 times over any other shop in the area. If you want an honest mechanic, go to Aamco & see Preston!Robin G.

Hi my name is Moti Drori and I am the new owner of this AAMCO location since June 1st 2016.And I am responding to Earl Braceys review. I apologize for the unpleasant experience that you had and we are here to make things right.On July 2016 you called to schedule an appointment to bring your vehicle back to this facility in order to address the issues you were experiencing since the repair done on March 2016. You explained to my manager at the time, that the vehicle was not running properly since the rebuild that was done under the previous owner & repair team. You also mentioned that they damaged the suspension front air bag. When you brought your vehicle for re-inspection we diagnosed that the cause of your engine under performance was due to bad ignition coils and that the transmission valve body needed to be repaired. We also acknowledged the damaged air suspension.At this time we tried to make things right in order to rebuild your trust from the negative experience you had had with the previous owner, repair team & manager Bobby. We exchanged the valve body in your vehicle with a remanufactured valve body from one of our trusted vendors. This repair was done under your warranty at no cost to you.The ignition coil repair was part of the problem but not a repair that was previously addressed. It was our recommendation that this needed to be done in order to bring your vehicle performance back to normal and essential in order for the transmission to operate within normal operation specs. This repair was not covered by your warranty and you refused to do it. You mentioned that you were working for one of the general auto repair franchises and that you would take care of the ignition coil repair since you were given better pricing.We did not fix the damaged suspension because we did not have any record or history in our system from the previous owner. Nonetheless we wanted to make things right for you so we provided you with the contact information for our corporate office so you could place a complaint & go through the appropriate steps to get this repair done for free. I understood your frustration that their response was taking too long when you came back in September. At this point I called our corporate office & escalated your case. They approved the repair on your vehicle, however the vehicle required an inspection & a total of 2 weeks to make the repair. You did not want to leave your vehicle for two weeks since it was your only source of transportation. You said that you would bring back your car back at a later time. We have records that AAMCO’s consumer support tried several times to contact your regarding your claim but never heard back from you. I called you at the end of the year & left you a voicemail. I have tried to contact you after you placed the review, but your phones are not accepting any incoming calls.Lastly I reviewed your records again and called your warranty company that paid for your transmission repair in order to confirm that the repair bill had been submitted by Bobby, to find out that your deductible was $100.00 and not $200.00 as you claim in your review.Earl I understand your disappointment in the length of time that this process has taken however AAMCO’s corporate office has taken full responsibility and want to repair your car. I know that your repair did not go smoothly with the previous owner but I will do everything in my power to expedite the repair & regain your trust.

This is the most dishonest company I have ever come across. I brought my 05 lincoln navigator in 4 or 5 times and its gotten so bad that it is now unsafe to drive. The transmission slams in to gear going from 2nd to 1st the only way to safely stop is to stop in 2nd gear. Which has intern worn out my brakes. They blew the front air bag struts because they never turnd them off when they put it on the lift, they put a gouge in the rear wind shild, the cover to my tow hitch is missing, they charged me a $500 deductible that I latter fond out from my warranty company was only supposed to be $200, Then the last time I brought it in the new owner tryed to sell me more work instead of fixing what was wrong with it. They are refusing to fix anything or pay me back the monney that they stole from me. This has been going on for almost 1 year on a truck that has been sitting in my parking lot for more then 3 months because it is unsafe to drive. I am still making payments on it. I had to buy another car just so I could get to work so now I am making two payments a month. even corporate wont do anything they say that this location is a franchise so they cant control them. My advice is what ever you do dont go there Ive spent over $1000 in rentals alone, thats not including everything else. Avoid them like the plague. They dont care about the customer they only care about your money and they will lie cheat and steal to get it from you.

Awesome Job! - Mr Moti, Richard, Preston, and Alan are great to work with. 2002 Mazda Tribute had bad 3rd gear clutch in auto trans. Gave me a quote to rebuilt the auto transmission, and did the work in only 2 days! Is now as good or better than new! I am writing this review about 3 months after repair, just to make sure the repair is solid, and they did a fantastic job. Also, no fluid leaks, in case you were wondering!Also, they did the repair/remanufacture with warranty for about $500 hundered $$ cheaper than the Mazda dealership quoted, and also, about $300 cheaper than other repair shops who would only replace the transmission with a remanufactured one!Thanks Moti!! The new manager was superb. His staff was able to diagnose and fix a problem with my check engine light concerning the mass air flow sensor that had plagued me for over 2 yrs and which the hyundai dealership down the street was unable to figure out.I had bought my 2005 hyundai santa fe from them 11 yrs before.The staff was very professional and accommodating.I will certainly return my car for servicing to them and recommend other people use them

Mike Teets has a 1984 Ford Thunderbird with V8 engine and the original owner of the car. The automatic transmission has a lifetime warranty thru the Stuart, Fla. AAMCO rebuilt ~1989 with continued use of the car. Currently has 350,000 miles on the vehicle with no transmission issues (as is since rebuild). Better than the original factory build. ~300,000 miles on the rebuilt transmission. I also have a 1973 Dodge Challenger, V8 with automatic transmission and original owner of the car. The transmission was rebuilt with a lifetime warranty ~ 1983 at the Stuart, Fla facility. Currently has 375,000 mile with ~275,000 miles on the transmission since the rebuild with no issues or repairs. Better than the original factory build.Mike Teets

This man i talked to on the phone when i call did not have friendly service and that putting it nicely . when i ask what his hourly rate was he would not disclose the information .and then i asked can you install an alternator which i payed 200.00 dollars for with a 3 year warranty he want to charge me 600.00 just for the part .no stars for this guy what a thief.never doing business with this guy and i suggest you dont either
