On a Sunday and air conditioning not working. Called and left address phone no.and what was wrong. Service man came found the problem, spent a lot of time repairing. We have had K&C service our condo A/C system since 2016 and our house system for several years before that. Their service has always been better than the rest. In January 2021 K&C removed the old A/C in our condo and installed a complete air handler, compressor, and thermostat (including crane for roof installation)to our complete satisfaction. K&C are highly recommended.

Excellent A/C Service! We were tired of waiting for a local a/c guy to call us back as he promised, so we read the Indiantown Living freebie magazine and found Krauss & Crane in Stuart. So many businesses simply wont come all the way to Indiantown but K&C did not hesitate. They replied very quickly with a phone call to our on-line request for an appointment, and asked what day and time works best for us. We got a call from Casey 30 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive and right on time he showed up. Very respectful, masked, and even wore booties when he came in the house to check the vent temps. They honored the advertised coupon, and didnt try to push extra services. Casey proudly stated that his grandfather started this business. Yes...there is a good a/c company willing to come out to Indiantown!

They gave me an estimate for a new Trane equipment and a date for installation. They weren´t able to comply and called me to reschedule, but they told me that they could not tell me when they were going to do the job. Totally unprofessional. So they lost a house they have been serving for 30 years, and they lost 4 other houses in the area. As the cherry on the cake, they threaten to remove the used equipment they put when they did a very amateur repair to keep the AC working till they do the installation. I don´t let them put a foot in my house and pay the bill for the work they did.They have been in business for more than 60 years; let´s see where they are in 10 years. Several young and professional companies deserve a chance in Stuart.Krauss and....   feel they are the Kings of AC in Stuart. You know what: The customer is the only King.

They had an advertisement in a local paper. I called, they came and did a routine inspection. They did not try to sell me anything. I like that. It was not a scam to get me to subscribe to anything.

Have dealt with the company for many years. Recently changed out entire system. Always on time, good products, well trained and courteous staff, and good the extra step.Maintenance man today, again, took the time to repair an entry board when could have just pointed it out and left.

Great experience yesterday. Prompt and professional service with value and explanation of what to expect. Luke had my A/C up and running within 45 minutes to cover the house until a new unit can be installed. He offered sound advice and explained all options available to the household. Krauss and Crane get an A+ from me for quick, effective and courteous service.

Quick service ......ahead of scheduled time for appointment. Determined problem and explained action needed to be taken to resolve it.

My airconditioner blower stopped working. They responded within an hour and diagnosed the problem in 5-10 minutes. Just needed a new capacitor, which took another 5 minutes to get out of his truck and install. The capacitor costs less than $10 at Home Depot and simply plugs in. Total charge was $95 for the service call and $100 for the capacitor. They did offer to take it out, which I refused, thinking they would refund $50 if I spoke with the owner. No adjustment wS offered. Should have had them remove it and saved $85, I guss.guess.

In May 2020 I had Krauss & Crane install two new 3ton A/C systems. They did the work completely in 6 hours even though one unit was in the attic. The work was professionally done and was the lowest quote. I had the same work done at a house in New Jersey just this week. The job is lasting three days and probably more since they ordered the wrong parts. While I was satisfied in May with the job done by Krauss & Crane, I didnt fully appreciate how efficient and professional they were- till now...

I did a bunch of research and got three bids from highly recommended companies before going with Krauss & Crane. Even though they were a few dollars more than the lowest bid, I choose them because they used superior Trane products and had a longer warranty. Their sales rep and installers were great. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

EVERYONE at this company is amazing! Bryan came out on an emergency call - he was terrific! Ginny in the office is fantastic! Dan was one of the two installers we had at our home today - PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PUNCTUALInstall and CLEAN UP - PERFECTION!! Everyone had answers to every question we had! If there were 10 stars, thats what my rating would have been!

They responded after hours to repair our air-handler quickly. They diagnosed and completed the repairs in a professional manner and provided good quality. Glad to have a company I can rely upon.

First maintenance after the virus shut down. K&C called to set up time and technician (Dan) called and was right on time. Very pleasant and finished all the maintenance efficiently. I have found all the technicians to be very professional.

I have had a persistent AC problem this summer. My usual AC company replaced the compressor then the evaporator coil. The items were under warranty but I had to pay labour charges of over $2,000. It all failed again and the process and costs were repeated.I changed to another AC company after a recommendation. The compressor was replaced twice at a similar cost and again it failed after a month or so. This company confessed that they couldn’t fix it and recommended a new system at a cost of around of $7,000.At this point I changed to Krauss & Crane of Stuart who specialise in Trane AC systems. They quoted me for a new system but said they felt they could fix the old system. I agreed that they could replace the compressor yet again and then they would diagnose what was going on. The charge for this was $800.After the compressor was up and running they returned and diagnosed the problem to be one of the circuit boards not allowing the system to run at the correct refrigerant pressure. The charge for this including the board was $191.After replacing the board they said the stepping motor was also playing up even though the system was apparently running perfectly, however they wanted to double check. They had to order a new stepper motor and came back yet again and replaced it. They did this free of charge and sent me an invoice for $0.I would, therefore, highly recommend Krauss & Crane, (sales manager Mr Luke Durden) for their knowledge and integrity. They could have easily charged similar amounts to the previous companies or sold me a new system but they instead they fixed the existing system a saved me a further $5,000 or so.I hope this post may help anyone having AC problems and looking for a reputable AC company.I would also add a note of great thanks to Jay Koerber who very kindly came to my house and opened it up on numerous occasions. We are so glad that we are now using Krauss and Crane as our AC contractor! All the techs and office personnel are very knowledgable and able to respond to our calls in a timely manner. The tech was at our home today to do the six month tuneup and provided us with a full list of items that were covered. It is well worth the cost and peace of mind to have the annual maintenance program. This family company has been in business for years and has a stellar reputation. I highly recommend them.

Utterly incompetent at BEST!!Our air conditioner broke down on the hottest long weekend of the year. We had no choice but to have Kraus and Crane come out and were forced to pay $190 just for the service call. The “technician” determined the fan was bad and produced a used one from his truck at a cost of $400!Later that day, the unit broke down again! The owner of K&C came out along with the same “technician. However the owner did not even bother looking at the faulty unit. The “technician” determined the fan he had just installed was bad and we were going to have to pay even more money for a new one which would take several days to order.We had had enough. We could not afford to wait several days and we found a local distributor who had the part new and on hand. Why did K&C have to order it when it was available right here locally?When we brought the old fan into the store and spoke to an actual professional we learned the worst of it: the part wasn’t faulty. It had been installed UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!! The new one only cost us $165 which we, along with an amateur AC technician installed correctly. The unit now runs perfectly!All through the nightmare with K&C they had been trying to sell us a whole new system for almost $6000. So it begs the question, was it intentional the part was installed incorrectly?This was not the first time the company had shown itself to be utterly incompetent. On one occasion the technician came 30 minutes late for a regular service appointment, gave no apology and dragged dirt all through our house.Lastly:- mail correspondence was sent to the wrong address.- our new and legitimate AC servicing company found issues relating to efficiency that should have been obvious, but K&C never picked up on it.- since our horrendous experience with K&C we have learned from other customers they have also had problems with them.Utterly incompetent at best. Larcenist at worst. They will try to scam you, stay away!!!

They make recommendations based on their experience and listen to my opinion about next steps. Repair or replace is always an option. They follow through as promised. We just moved into the neighborhood two weeks ago and they worked with us to make sure that the service contract and warranties were transferred to us properly so that we had no disruption and all warranties remained in place. Since then we had an issue and called them on a Friday at 4:30pm, a service techs worst nightmare! The service tech called us within 10 mins and was at my door within 30 mins. The problem was resolved quickly. I would highly recommend them, they are a great company, with great service supported by competent people all around. Thank you for coming to our rescue!

Old ac company. Had a problem last night with our 14 year old Trane. The service guy came out and pumped the system up but said it would not hold. Got quotes And hand delivered a deposit to get the replacement process going. They said it would be a four week wait for install. My marriage would not have survived four weeks with no AC. They did offer Loaning us a spot air conditioner But by this time we were so peeved to keep the company we had been with for 32 years Was not an option.Krauss and Crane - called and spoke with Luke. He said he could match their price and would come out to make sure we had air. It took about 20 mins and we are cooling down. The install is still 28 days out but Luke made sure we were ok till then. Luke and Krauss and Crane both rock.

When my A/C went out I thought it was going to be such a lengthy process to have it replaced but this company is amazing! The install guys were great and Steve was so informative about anything I had questions about! Well we had a service done and thinking about buying a new air conditioner but when I went backup on the roof the panels were not completely screwed in again as they should have been and the blower motor runs consistently even if I shut off the air conditioner so it must be wired wrong after they came back for the 2nd time the wire correctly I opt to buy a new air conditioner but not from them

We were just planning to look at quotations to plan ahead on when to replace our 15 year old unit. Luke came to our house, and measured everything twice since we have a very tight area where the air handler can go. He talked us through our options and gave us a very nice deal on a high efficiency unit. The installers were polite and knew their job. We had no problems at all.

This company is very honest and the quality of their work is unlike no other. Our favorite technician is Chase because he is always on time, and always does an amazing job! He recently repaired our AC and during him doing so, it began to pour very hard outside and that did not stop him. He continued to repair our unit until he was finished. I own a duplex and the tenant called and informed me that the fan outside was not working. I called Krauss & Crane and within 2 hours they were at the duplex to fix the problem with the air conditioner. They were very professional from the maintenance secretary, Debbie to the repair man. Ive been with Krauss and Crane for almost 15 years. I maintain a service contract which is well worth it because my unit is constantly maintained. However, two days ago my air stopped working and it turned out to be the motor after 12 long years! They came, diagnosed the problem, replaced the motor and we were back in business in under two hours! My house temperature went from 89 to 79 in just two hours. They are honest, the people who work for them really care and I will always use Krauss and Crane.

AC units always seem to break on weekends or holidays, but not to worry, Krauss and Crane provides quality 24 hour service. A late call for help on Fri evening brought a quick return call from Chase, the on call mechanic, who showed up early next morning as promised. He quickly found the problem, replaced a damaged contact, topped off the refrigerant (which was a couple pounds low) and had us comfortable again with a couple of hours. The weekend rates were slightly higher than normal, but you get what you pay for. Chase did a great job, he was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. We have no complaints. Would definitely recommend calling Krauss and Crane for AC repairs and service...thank you again Chase, nice job!

I am so pleased with the employees at Krause and Krane i called late Friday night they were out early Saturday morning had cold air by Saturday night. i set up for a new unit the middle of July. Then a week later the inside unit quit both men that came out during that one week period were very professional unfortunately the unit can’t be fixed. I was so impressed by the response and care we received from 2 service men from Krauss and Crane. Both Matthew and Chase went above and beyond. My mother who is 97 disabled with health issues a.c. quit working around 3:30 in afternoon. I called left message explaining her situation. First Matt showed up w/in an HR and discovered compressor died on 31 yr old AC. Recognizing the situation with no air and 2 floor fans he looked into getting a loaner a.c.. When he found out that there wasnt one available he offered his own personal stand alone a.c. . He went home and gave it to the next service man Chase who came back that night around 8pm and set up the cooler for my mom and then proceeded to look at the old AC to give us quotes on new ones.I am so impressed with the service we received and the kindness of everyone at Krauss and Crane.
