By far the BEST facility around. This location is mint from the front desk, fitness professionals, to the equipment, to the facility itself. From the ownership, to management, to the trainers, by far the nicest and most knowledgeable staff in the business today. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend LA Fitness to anyone. I am certainly satisfied thus far and have been blown away by my experience at this facility!!! 1000% recommend to anyone looking for a gym!

It really bugs me to see people with nothing better to and leave poor reviews over (fake accounts) that arent fake. Don’t listen to these trollers online who literally have nothing better to do. LA Fitness Stoneham is second to none in terms is quality, service, amenities, and of course their friendly staff. It is a big gym with a lot of moving parts and every time time there is a situation they fix it quickly. Again DON’T listen to these clowns, i literally canned my LifeTime membership because i am so happy with this club.

DO NOT SIGN UP!!!Went to the gym to cancel my membership and was told they couldnt do it after 6pm.The suggestion was that I go home, print a form, put in an envelope, buy a stamp, and mail it. Like, why? I was there, the computer was there, why make it so difficult to cancel it?I know why, because this is an unscrupulous business that has 0 ethics or appreciation for their customers. They want to punish you for canceling it and make it harder than it has to be. I used this gym in 3 different states and always loved it. NEVER AGAIN.

HOW PATHETIC AND SAD🚨🚨🚨It’s unfortunate that this location is sub par because it has SO much potential as far as equipment and extra amenities. (pool, saunas, classes, personal trainers.)All the reviews sound like broken records, but it’s all accurate. So, rather than stating the same problems this location has, I will simply state my biggest pet peeve. Being that most of the equipment is either broken or hanging on by a thread causes people to have to wait. My biggest pet peeve or “problem” with this is that I feel like I have to rush or shorten my workout because it’s very obvious when someone else is waiting to use it. It makes my whole workout (most times) feel incomplete as I didn’t get to use whatever equipment I was using for the amount of time worth the workout (ya know my fellow gym rats??) To add, it’s also super awkward when you get those types of people who will literally STAND AND WATCH YOU until you’re done. I tell myself it’s just a tactic to make you rush, so that person can use it (good tactic bc it works!) rather than assuming these people are just creeps. Anyway, LA Fitness of Stoneham needs to open their eyes and listen to their members because this location is losing members (even loyal/longevity members) due to the lack of attention and maintenance of it’s equipment. I know I won’t be putting up with it’s sub par ness much longer either.

I have been a member for many years at this location and it has always hands down had the friendliest, most helpful staff and trainers and have gotten people to switch gyms to here already and I recommend here for all new customers

Probably the worst LA fitness ever. Old equipment and machines out of service for months. No AC and has 1 big fan positioned weirdly when its like 90 degrees in here. They finally got 2 portable AC things also positioned horribly at the front door. first of all no one feels the air 2 feet away and all the cold air just leaks out whenever the door opens.

People wear mask, except very few exceptions and the people that work there ask them to wear if they are not. Also, people that work there are super nice and very welcoming.The machines a not new and many free bars are bended. Some machines definitely need maintenance, but overall I really enjoy working out there. They have a machine for every single muscle in the body.

Been A Member For 10 Years... The Past 2 Years Has Been Going Downhill...Besides Treadmills And Many Other Machines, With Sign Saying Scheduled For Maintenance That Stay Out Of Service For Montns, Some Over A Year... The Newest Thing Is That Their A/C Has NOT Been Working For 2 Months!!! The Hottest Months Of The Year July & August...Working Out In Muggy Sauna Condtions...

I have been a member here for several years and can say this place is a total dump equipment is always broken no AC for months. the only reason I have stayed is because of the convenience but I am out of patience and will be canceling my membership

Smarten up people.Now on to the club, the cardio equipment is extremely dated, the cable machines are always “down for Maintenance” and the gym is not big enough to accommodate the amount of memberships

Pool is too cold. They never heat it. The hot tub is closed forever without any explanation. I think they just want to save every penny.

Mike is easily one of the most professional managers I’ve come across in any industry. He solved problems with my account within seconds, he solved problems with equipment within hours. LAF stoneham is in great hands!

I came into the gym to check it out and was greeted at the front desk by very courteous staff members. They introduced me to the Manager Michel who was very polite and professional. Lots of people working out but no waiting because there is plenty of equipment. I would definitely recommend a membership to this facility.

LA Fitness in Stoneham has to be the most disgusting gym I have ever been to. There equipment is all taped up. I reported to the front desk there were roaches around the elliptical machine. The place is Horrific and smells.i would be nerves I would bring something home

This gym has a great environment. Right when I walked in the door 2 staff members said greeted me and were very helpful with answering questions regarding signing up for a membership. They referred me to Larry who went above and beyond in helping me determine the right plan for me. If you’re looking for a great gym with a ton of great equipment and a phenomenal staff, LA Fitness is the place for you.

Our favorite gym!!!!!Me and the wife go almost everyday and well the facilitys nice and well kept thats not the shine to this gym. The true great thing about this gym is that they treat us like family. From our personal trainer Flory encouraging us to push the limits of what we are cable of. To the amazing help with nutritional information that Amanda provides. To the help with our weight and measurements that Tory helps us with. Way more important then that though is how friendly they are they arent afraid to make jokes and just have a good conversation after a work out which we enjoy, because its not like other gyms where you just feel like we are paying for a service and they are always running around working hard its amazing to see such ambition. Like I said we love our fitness center 💪

I love going to LA Fitness in Stoneham! The staff that work there really make my experience positive, especially Traci. It is so nice to see her every time I go in smiling away! She is very knowledgeable and helpful if I have an questions or concerns. It has always been important for me to have a comfortable, encouraging environment when I work out, and Traci and the rest of the staff truly help create that for me. This gym is different than most I’ve used. The staff is friendly, well trained and the place is really clean! I was scared to go back but they appear to be incredibly diligent with regard to cleaning and sanitizing which is a relief with the pandemic.People are super friendly at the front desk and it just stays that way with any employees I speak with.I’m happy I found this place, I feel safe and well treated there.

Big facility provides variety of equipment in addition to a swimming pool, basketball court and sauna. It’s clean and convenient. However, despite the huge place they provide just three movable benches! Also, the weight collection doesn’t collerate with the number of members. In the peak hours it’s overcrowded and you have to wait for benches and weights. More over, if any of the equipment need service it will take for ever. Also the wifi coverage weak in the interior part of the weight rack. Such like gym has the potential to provide 5 star plus service. I still have my membership and I hope see improvements in the upcoming days.

I worked out at a lot of LA fitness facilities but the employees at this one helped me more than I expected with my fitness journey. In particular, the manager, Mike, took a lot of time to really help me set realistic goals and find plans to help me achieve these goals. He worked with me through these plans and even had tips about nutrition and other important areas of health outside of the gym. If you’re just trying to get started or trying to find a new challenge then the employees here can help you find what you are looking for.

I have been a member since the doors have opened. It has been a great 12 years as a member and I enjoy coming to this place everyday. The management staff especially Larry is phenomenal. Larry has always been professional and any time I brought a concern to him it was handled immediately and that is why I have been a member for 12 years.

I really have no negative complaints about this location but I, clean and workers there are professionals and friendly but I do have a complaint about Machines very old and not working 😕If they change Machines this location will perfect!?

Great gym to join or drop in. Mike, the GM at this location was professional, welcoming, and made me feel at home. This was also one of the cleanest locations Ive visited in a while. I would highly recommend coming to this location.

I came here years ago, and just recently came back. The staff are all friendly, the gym is probably the cleanest Ive used, and it hasnt been crowded at all which is a huge plus. Easily the best gym in the area.

I just signed up for this gym on black Friday because I was told they require masks for all members, and the place was clean.I was very disappointed that after I joined, I learned that masks are required only upon entering. More than 50% of the members either wear mask on chin, or not at all.It is not fair that I had to freeze my membership because of all of these maskless people. The club staff should be addressing it. Very disappointing.

Visited the club for the first time last Saturday. At first, I was skeptical that sanitation and social distancing due to the covid-19 could have been inferior. Upon entering the location I was amazed at the safe social distancing that I have noticed. I was introduced to manager, Michel Jeha, whom had stellar customer service and super knowledgeable about fitness. Plenty of cleaning supplies were conveniently placed throughout the gym. I strongly recommend this location for that it fits perfectly the current climate of social distancing. Also, I have appreciated that I was able to find all the equipments needed for my workout which is hard to find these days at most gyms.

I have been a member for over a year now and would recommend LA Fitness to everyone. The gym is always clean and the staff is always there to answer any questions!

La Fitness Stoneham has been my home for years. I love the atmosphere, staff and equipment. GM Mike helped sign me up and get me on my way. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff. Very professional and educated. Always says hello and ask if I need anything or any concerns I have . I recommend this gym to many others. Especially with Covid-19 I see the staff constantly cleaning the machines and weights.

This is a great gym in the northshore area! Always clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. They have two huge studio rooms for guest use and a big cardio section. The sanitizer stations all throughout the gym make the experience returning back to the gym much more satisfying as well.

I am a first gym goer of sorts and was skeptical about this center given the over all rating it had on google. Nonetheless decided to check it out, met Doug (He is simply AWESOME!) for an initial conversation and then for the fitness assessment, he had me completely hooked with his subject matter expertise and approach to achieving my desired goals. I have been a regular for the past 40 days and training with Dough has been extremely motivating thus far.

A great gym with tons of equipment and amenities! There is a ton of space and they even have a pool. The staff is amazing as well and they really help you get your foot in the door. One of the staff members Michael was extremely welcoming and reached out to me whenever I had questions or needed help with anything. All around great place with some great people.

I really like the atmosphere for working out. There is a kind of privacy I enjoy. The gymn is well-equipped and you can also swim on days you chose not to workout. There are loads of bathrooms and lockers as well.

LA Fitness is a super nice gym with incredible staff. Both Mike and Doug are professional, fun, and extremely motivating. Hands down the best experience Ive had in a fitness center. They listen and care about what your goals are, then give you everything you need to achieve them. If your health is important to you, this is the gym you want to go to. Period.

Great gym... I Regularly attend the group classes. they are awesome as a kick starter to gym if you want to impart a schedule and have some guidance. All the machines work fine. Great trainers to guide you.

I had a complimentary Fitness Training with Doug. It honestly felt as if I was talking to a old Friend. Doug is very concerned, and Cares about the members of LA Fitness, and wants them to feel, and look their best. He is very knowledgeable about a Lifestyle of Fitness. My Fitness evaluation was a eye opener, and one that I will remember every time I think about eating unhealthy, or not wanting to exercise, is that, thats the old me, I have to run away from her because I deserve it. He made me realize this is about me, and its time for me to make a healthy lifestyle for myself. Ask for Doug you wont be disappointed.

Good start up gym. Could use some cleaning. Dont go here anymore because I outgrew the gym. Great if you have kids and need to work out. They have a kids care area. I still have my membership though because of the pool.

If you are looking for a gym to do your work-outs, this is it.If you like to swim, or both; work-outs and swim, then find another pool. The pool here is over flowed . Two aqua fitness sessions every day. A kid session almost every day, the best hours of the day. Hot tub is often out of service.If you like to swim like I do, find another club, like I did too.My opinion. Do not waist your money.
