So disappointed. I’ve tried over and over again to use this salon because at one point they did a great job. Now, they mess up my nails every single time I go and they NEVER give me what I’m asking for.. no matter the technician. Will not be going back

I have been going here religiously for 10 months. Every time I go I ask for coffin shape nails and leave with square shape EVERY time. I never complain and I always tip no matter what. The only person that has done what I ask is the girl at station 5 (I don’t know her name). If I can’t get what I ask, pay, and tip for I’ll have to find another salon.

I asked for a Deluxe pedicure for myself and my daughter and didnt receive it. When I went to checkout they tried charging me for one! The lady doing my pedicure argued with me that I received it when I didnt! I think I would know what I got! She then in her language either cussed me out or called me a name and walked off! I shouldnt have even paid them a DIME for treating customers that way! I have been going there for 7-8 years and will NEVER GO BACK! The nail tech was Mary I believe. She cannot speak English nor can any of them do a simple star design! If you want to be treated like trash then go here! If not, find a better place!!!

Great customer service. Friendly staff. Very helpful when my daughter daughters nail broke and was bleeding under nail and did it as a courtesy at no cost even though they were not the one who put the nails on. Will use them next time for sure.

The guy who did my nails was too preoccupied with another client while doing my nails to pay attention. They were done way too short and he even cut my finger while drilling my nail beds. They’re acrylic, but no longer than my natural nails were when I came in. I’ll be getting them fixed elsewhere

My entire sales team and I have used this nail salon for some years now and never had any issues.... Until now. Went in Friday for a fill-in they were quite busy so I couldnt see my normal tech. The wait was crazy, I was skipped 3x. No problem I too work in the service field. It was the finished product that was the issue; extremely lumpy, uneven and of bubbles. I figured Id come back and speak with the mgr since I work on the same strip, it was very busy, I didnt want embarrass the nail or shed a negative light with a full house. So I came back once business slowed down, spoke with the gentleman upfront who said that I could come back in at anytime and hed fix them (since he was still busy). No problem. Went back in today (Monday).... Spoke with same guy who not only said Id have to wait 2 hours but also, the same tech that messed them up would have to fix them. I wasnt comfortable with that So I asked if my normal tech could do them... No! Or could I just get a refund or credit... No! Then told me to go talk to the tech that messed them up (while shes with a guest) and tell her to fix them. Im sorry, thats not my job nor professional. Needles to say, I didnt have the want to argue so I just walked out, and will not be returning. Guess thats what you get for being loyal and not supporting local small businesses.

We have used this salon several times with no problems... Lately I have taken my 15 year old to have her nails done in one month they put 3 new sets on her even though I specified a fill... The price has varied from 35 to 55 even though she is getting the same thing... I believe they are taking advantage of my daughter. I do not have the time to sit there with young children to assure they do what I ask. I expect them to be fair professionals to my daughter even if I am not there to supervise. I gave them 2 stars because their work does have a nice out come I just question their ethics.

This is the worst nail salon I’ve ever been to. My acrylic set was rushed, I didn’t receive what I asked for, and I was overcharged. My tech was shown a picture of what I wanted and looked at it for 2 seconds. When I asked her to change the design to what I wanted, she said she couldn’t. I’ve had the set on for a week and they are already lifting. Will never go back.

Walked in for a pedicure. The gentleman at the front pointed for me to sit at the very back corner of the shop. A lady begin filling the tub with cold water and never came back. I had to turn my own water off because it was about to overfill. They proceeded to help other customers and never stop back by to help me or the other young lady sitting next to me. I waited 30 minutes and walked out.

Very slow. Been sitting in this water for 40 minutes and no one has started on me yet. Lady walked in after me and was seen before me and no, she didnt have an appointment. Do not recommend. No sense of urgency at all.

They’re fast and professional. They take time while painting your nails. I highly recommend. 💕

When I walked in I was not greeted but since I had been coming I brushed it off. I sat in the pedicure chair for almost an hour (having had to have my water changed twice because it had gotten cold) only for the guy to tell me he could do my pedi but not my mani due to them closing in 10mins. They could have told me that when I arrived and I would have just come back instead of wasting all that time there for nothing!

This is my go-to nail spot. I do not deviate from other places... Love it. Only reason Im giving a 4 is because the wait time can be a little annoying...

I got a gel mani and pedi last Friday, I paid 75 bucks and the gel polish is already off. I felt rushed and felt like I didn’t get the service I paid for.I won’t be going back there.

I called to make appointment but they didn’t make one . I did a walk in and sat with my feet in water until it was cold. They were suppose to remove solar nails so I sat with fingers in acetone until they were gooey. My daughter was to get her nails painted and after sitting for 2 hours I finally got my toes painted which they never asked anything except the color . All they did was put a cream of some sort on my feet and legs and changed the polish. No one ever started on my fingers so I finally left with a screaming 2 year old that never got her nails painted and half of my solar nails still on. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever been.

I got a pedicure and gel manicure here. The person doing my nails was gruff and extremely rushed. The polish was messy and on my cuticles. He didn’t see anyone available to do my mani after finished my pedicure and so he got a tray and did it on my lap. He completely rushed the gel manicure. It peeled off after two days. I’ve never had a gel manicure come off so soon... very disappointing and I will never go back.

First time visiting this location, my husband and I wanted 2 pedicures. I observed that they didn’t Have an plastic covering bags for the foot bowls and asked if the bowls can be cleaned prior to us using them, they said they clean them already today … disgusting. There is too much bacteria/ germs that can dwell in these, so I am confused on why spraying a little bleach and hitting it with a rag was so much work/ confusing… so due to their cleanliness I’d won’t be returning.

Didnt have to wait, the nail tech was friendly and professional. She made my nails look great!

Not the most hygienic place.They don’t use plastic covers for pedicures and they don’t use single use foot stones. Also there are gnats and dead insects all over. My feet did however look great after service.

Walked in and wasnt even acknowledged. Those that walked in after me was acknowledged and helped. I sat there a few minutes but eventually left because so many people ended up in front of me. I probably could have asked for help but didnt feel like it at that point. Just seemed like poor customer service to me.

2nd time I have attempted to get my nails done here! Ended up walking out, AGAIN, because I sat in cold water for 20 mins and then watch them start working on someone that came in after me! If it’s going to be a wait, that’s fine, tell me when I walk in! Don’t tell me it’s a short wait and then sit me in cold water thinking I’m just going to hang around!

I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and NEVER have I ever left in literal tears. I read the reviews and still gave this place a chance. Dude was in an extreme rush and paid more attention to people coming in the door than on my nails and it absolutely shows. I have one hand long, one short, and lets not even go there on the shape. I didnt even want anything complicated, medium length, round with clear polish. Instead I got what I can only assume is gel pink and all for an extra $10 which is completely fraudulent because no one told me that the polish (THAT I DIDNT ASK FOR) would be extra. After being denied a refund I just took the matter up with my bank. I will NEVER be back nor would I suggest anyone go to this joke of a place.

AWFUL. Rushed service and my nails are splotchy in color and the shapes and lengths are soooo uneven. Im about to go soak them off theyre that bad.

I was sitting in this place for an hour and a half just for them to have my hands sitting in acetone for an hour. I am extremely angry because they were helping others before helping me and never checked on me one time. I was with my friend and she got her nails done before they even put my hands in acetone. I told them I did not even want my nails done at that point.NEVER COME HERE. Terrible service.

I went to get a pedicure earlier in the day, I was asked what color I wanted they were out of most of them . I finally choose a color and said classic pedicure he then continued to give me with gel, I let it be then I saw the outcome once I got home and there is streaks it’s messy and it’s just so messy it looks so disgusting. Not worth the $40 . When at first I wanted the classic for $25 because I was afraid of this happening .

I had went to Cali nails and they were sloppy and Un even I went here to get my toes and nails redone my toes look amazing they fixed my nails perfectly she made sure there was no uneven spots or messed up polish she was very gentle it didn’t hurt she talked the whole time I was there she made sure the nails were the way I wanted at the end and it was more than great!!!!

Went in to get a manicure and was asked to sit in waiting area. I sat there for 40 minutes while people walking in after me were seated right away. Very unprofessional to make a customer wait that long while letting others sit right away.

Asked for a gel manicure. Was bullied into dip powder, and then was told a manicure is extra. A manicure was the whole reason I went. The man just filed down my nails and put the powder on. The nails looked terrible and started to chip after only a week! Terrible service and I left in tears.

Came to get a pedicure and half of them did not have on masks and were coughing. I guess no one believes covid is real. And they dont use bags in the pedicure bowl but they use bleach spray and barely spray anything in there. And they dont change gloves after every customer. I dont think this is how a business should be ran!!!

This is the place to go to! They are super nice and do a very good job. Its so relaxing and the Environment is so welcoming. Definitely will come back 👍💅

They have terrible customer service that I seen so far. A lady got an attitude while doing my nails and walked off after I told her my nails were crooked. All she kept saying was ( Yo nail do that) and my nails doesn’t do that. Then I continue get them done and they look lumpy and disgusting..

I am so very happy with my experience today.. I am not very good at picking out colors or how i even want my nails to be done and David helped me with it all.. I am beyond happy with how my nails and toes look and i will be definitely coming back and letting all my friends and family know that this is the place to come. So polite and respectful. Thanks David for helping me not be so nervous and giving me what fits my personality.

I went there last year and I didn’t get what I asked for at all it was the wrong color and way to long even when I showed them a picture of what I wanted, I went there about 2 months ago to give it another chance and once again I was disappointed. I wanted some light lavender colored nails and I got short, stubby, and very dark purple nails. I don’t think I will go there again.

They did a terrible job. I was waiting for an hour and was there for 3 hours total. Was way too overpriced as well for a nail salon in statesboro.

I will definitely be coming back. The man who did my nails is named Fong and he did them perfectly. I love them!!

I went to Southern Nails a week ago & Eric was AMAZING. The staff was very polite as well. My sister’s phone was dead and one of the nail techs made it convenient for her to charge her phone while sitting next to me. My nails still look amazing. I will be back !

This is a wonderful name place to go to! There is one worker in there named Kevin who is amazing at his job. He does great manicures and pedicures. You won’t be disappointed with him. When you come to this nail place ask for him!

Manager is awful!!!!! I walked in and of course he asked what service I needed. I told him and he going to say come back tomorrow I asked a time and he said he wasn’t sure . He is unprofessional and need to go back where he come from because that doesn’t make any sense to have that such attitude when I’m trying to spend my money !!!! I don’t see how he have clientele anyways with that attitude of his . I’ll never come back !!

This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. I asked for narrow almond - and the tech shaped my nails coffin. When I asked if she was going to continue shaping them she seemed confused and asked me to show her a picture of almond. My shape ended up as an awkward round not really almond not really anything - just every finger shaped uniquely. I also asked for white gel polish which I thought was keeping it simple... I guess I should have questioned her when she started with white tips... she did my nails French and I regret asking her to correct it because the polish is around my fingers and painted uneven.I will NEVER return to the salon.Save your money venture elsewhere

I did not get service I expected

The technician ignored the picture I showed them and was completely unprofessional. My cuticles bled from how rough they were with the tools and my nails look really janky.. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this was my first time here because Annie’s was all booked and this place was very unprofessional and it made me very uncomfortable the whole time.

Wonderful folks working there. Have always enjoyed going there for nails and wax.

They smile and greet white customers, they treat black customers like animals. Will try to tell you it’s going to be a long wait to get you out or turn they head when you come in and not greet you or ask you what you would like.... something needs to be done or addressed because I see too many reviews similar to my experience.

Loved how my nails turned out. They communicate very well. However, when I made up my appointment online and chose the Classic Mani/Pedi option, they didn’t even look at what I wanted - or ask - for my manicure so I was unknowingly charged for a deluxe manicure with classic pedicure. Ended up $12 more than I asked for. Overall wasn’t bad, but they should read their own systems to know what service they are being asked to do.

Prices are reasonable! I come here to get my nails done every time. Kevin did a great job on my nails today and he made sure that they were just how I wanted them. :)

I would just like to start off and say that the location and esthetic is beautiful! The employees are very nice. I just did not enjoy my pedicure, nothing was barley done to my feet and after many many months I was looking forward to that. There was some communication errors also we would tell them one thing and they would do another. I wanted gel but they did powder..my mom wanted french tips and they were going to put on a white tip nail that was half the length of her nail. Ehh. May just be my experience. So dont knock it till you try them out.

My favorite is Katie!!! She always make sure I get what I ask for you. Plus I’m a little difficult to deal with when it comes to deciding on what I want. However, Katie is always patience with me and help me decide on what I want. Southern Nails is my favorite nails salon and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

Hands down the best nail salon in Statesboro!! Phong is such a sweetheart, so professional yet makes you feel at home. Each and every tech is so talented in their work. 10/10 highly recommend.

Do, Kevin, and Fong are my favorite people to go to at this nail salon. They never fail to satisfy me. I have been going here for years and they always get the job done.

David and his wife did a wonderful job on my nails and feet. David took his time doing my ombre nails. They are the exact length and shape I asked for. They had a new pedicure that I tried. His wife (i didnt get her name) performed a CBD oil pedicure and it was HEAVENLY. She asked did I have any troublesome areas on my feet. She hot toweled my feet and massaged the CBD oil over my feet, and shins. She focused on my heel, where I have heel spurs. I felt relief within 5 mins. It was definitely worth it.

Quality of work is good but they are extremely slow. I was there 3.5 hours for full set and pedicure after I was told to come back in an hour after waiting for 30 minutes. This used to be my go to place for pampering but they have gotten increasingly slower with more staff over the years.

Went in for a simple acrylic fill in. I told them the polish was not gel. They completed my fill-in and said $30. $30 for a fill in? He reported he used gel polish, but I did not ask for gel. I will not return.

The absolutely best nail salon I’ve been to. I didn’t have to wait, the smell wasn’t overwhelming, super clean, and my technician was exceptional!

I had an amazing experience and I am so happy that I personally requested Do to do my mani/pedi because I received an amazing and relaxing pedicure and I truly needed to unwind and enjoy my first visit and I was not disappointed and I ended up getting more than just a manicure and actually got my nails done for the very first time and Do did an amazing job and I enjoyed talking with him and his beautiful wife Mia. I will definitely be back again.

Staff is rude and very stubborn to their customers station 19 guy didn’t want to do my fill and was man handling my hands while his mail was digging in my fingers and then cut my nails done extremely far saying my mail was broke but wasn’t and then when I asked to have to someone else for my comfort they had me standing and waiting to get service while other customers where coming in after me getting serviced
