Nice people, but are not very professional. On two occasions, I was told the wait time was 30 min. I agreed. They put my feet in the water and I was waiting much longer than an hour. I hopped out both times. I will never go back. No point in calling for an appointment, you will still have to wait

I’ve never had a problem with weak nail beds from acrylics and I got one of my nails ripped from my fingers during removal after getting my previous fill there. I called ahead of time to see if they were available and they told me to come right in. I then sat there for over an hour. I don’t recommend at all and neither does my missing nail 😀😀

One of my clients referred me to VIP Nails here in Statesboro. I walked in this morning, told them what I needed and asked for the best person jokingly. While I am very particular about my nails, I wanted to try them out bc my clients nails looked really good. They told me the girl that did nails wasn’t here yet, so I go back to my car and wait. I see the girl walk in so I give her a few minutes to get settled. I go in, she asks if I wanted someone that does a good job and I said of course, she proceeds to say well go to the nail shop by Walmart! I said excuse me are you trying to be sarcastic and refuse my service bc I requested a really good nail tech!

Very nice people but will not be going back. did not fully paint my nails and were finished with my fill in in 15 minutes. i have never had a full in take less than 45 and it was obvious that they were rushing.

Went to get my nails done yesterday, once I realized she did not do my nails correctly and completely rushed, I asked nicely to re-do them, Kim took my money before hand and denied re-doing my nails. I nicely asked to just take them off and I’ll pay for them to be taken off, she says “we don’t do take off nails. How about you go somewhere else.” So I was sitting there with clumpy nails and no service. She then proceeds to be rude and says “I’ll call police” then call the police on us, even though she still got paid for not doing my nails. Police comes in for not even 2 min. Listen to my story, agree and then leave. I will NEVER in my life. Go back to this place! Very unprofessional and very disrespectful!

Waited a really long time for a really rushed gel pedicure. She spent more time rubbing lotion on my legs afterwards than making sure she applied the gel evenly during the actual pedicure. Never seen so many lumps. Sad because it’s my birthday weekend in addition to Mother’s Day. Do not come here.

My father bought $120.00 worth in two gift certificates exactly a year ago for myself and my mother. Due to COVID the gift certificates were never redeemed until my mom could receive the vaccine. They refused to allow us to use the certificates claiming it was over a year (a year this month, mind you) and offered half off. I will not return to this business nor will I recommend it to anyone else. When I asked about businesses closing down for Covid during the shut down the woman tried to tell me they never shut down and they did. IT WAS MANDATORY. The professional thing to do would have been to give the leeway time of at least a month extended for the gift card, as that is about the time frame the Mayor mandated these businesses to shut down temporarily. Again, I will not recommend this business to anyone.

Nice people and that’s all they are is nice. Toenails weren’t fully polished. First time going there last time going there I wish I could put a picture up of my nails and my feet. Guy put on nails too small and owner which is a female try to resculptured them but they are very ugly cricket and they don’t cover my whole nail. I wouldn’t advise anyone to go there or give them that one star if I had to.

I came in to VIP nails to get an acrylic set put on in preparation for my fiancé coming home from his deployment. I had a great experience, the shape I asked for was wrong at first but I mentioned to her and showed her a picture of what I wanted and she fixed them and now they look perfect! She was a little rough and grabby with my hands but nonetheless did a great job and I got everything I asked for. She was very friendly and made conversation with me about my plans for his return and my upcoming birthday. Great experience, would recommend!

Was relaxing but the older lady, was who did mine. She was nice but did not really do my toes as I would expect for a deluxe expensive pedicure. Did not clean out and up around toes. Even when I asked twice to get around side of my toes especially big toe.She was very light touch which guess is nice but when paying so much please message feet and legs since that is what extra is for. I want to feel it. Sides of ties still sore and not done like I would expect.I will go back for sure, they are clean and its a nice salon and area. I will give one more chance to see if next time can do it better .

Thought because they had a 4.6 review that they would do a awesome job but I was wrong. I was not as happy as I should have been when I walked in. The length was great but the paint was put on sloppy will never go back there again. Then the lady that was over him wanted him to charge me 50 bucks crazy 🤨.

Do not go here. They will tear your skin apart. And you better like the color you choose at first. Cause if you dont like it. They will yell at you and go to remove your color forcefully. And still try to charge you. Not to mention they started at 1045 it was 145 when I left

Dont let the 4.5 star rating fool you. I came in to get my sns soaked off, I was told that it would take too long so the nail tech used a false nail to rip apart the and powder from my nail. I was left in pain and super thin nails. It didnt look like she knew what she was doing. After she popped off my nails I asked for a gel manicure. 1 week later with the gel polish and my nails has bubbles in it and its chipping. Only giving 2 stars because the nail tech was friendly. Other than that I had a terrible experience.

My mom and I went here for manicures and pedicures. The place was very clean and our nails turned out great (my polish on my toes still looks good 2 weeks later). We will be going back!

Awful Service. They made me soak my hands in acetone for over 30 minutes while they assisted other people who came in after me. I just wanted a simple nail polish manicure, but they took over 2 hours to finally do it.

The man with the nub finger cheated me out of my price he told me specifically that my amount was $50 but when it was time to pay he told me the total was $71 I really don’t appreciate that and I advise everyone to not visit V.I.P Nails.!!

I was out here for school and now Im graduating. My friend and I wanted to something nice, so she suggested here. I got the SNS dipping powder and had my nails trimmed so they would be even. The male tech there was super nice and when I told him that my nail was a bit askew, he heard what I had to say and was so polite to take my opinion! And when I asked to keep my nails matte he was so polite to give me what I wanted. And the female tech who did my pedicure was super sweet! I did a white base with a silver snowflake and when she saw that the lighting, would glare out the silver, she got super worried and asked me if it was ok or if wanted something else, and she really cared to give me what I wanted, but I still love the white and silve and love both my hands and feet!! Would definitely make the drive from Savannah just to have them do them again!!

My daughter attends GSU. We came down early to vacation and see the surrounding area. It was a rainy day so we went in for a mani / pedi. The place is absolutely beautiful and the techs working were absolutely fantastic. We did not feel rushed at all and the amount of time spent on the massage part of the pedicure was longer then I expected. So relaxing. My daughter will make this her nail place while living here!

Male nail tech was very ruff with my nails. My friend and I both got a full set and neither of us are satisfied. Her polish left odd white specks on her nails and the tech fixed them terribly. His response was for us to come back later or the next day. I will not be returning.
