If I could give a zero, I would. You should look at their Facebook post as they have other bad reviews. How do you show up, charge $60.00 for a diagnostic check and guess at several things that could be wrong... tell the person to go get their own parts and do their own work themselves and their vehicle still doesnt work. Most reputable places do a diagnostic check, fix the problem and take the cost of the repair off of the diagnostic check. An absolute rip off and a joke. Wish we could get our money back. I could have guessed better and I am not a mechanic! Now we have to pay again to have it checked and fixed. What a shame.

I contacted Danny on the morning of 8/19/20 and told him that my daughter was attending Georgia Southern and needed the starter replaced on her truck. My husband repairs cars, but we live 2 hours away. I ordered the starter online at Advanced Auto in Statesboro and my daughter picked it up to have available for Danny to install. He met her in the parking lot of her apartment and replaced the starter on the truck in less than an hour. Im thankful that Danny was available for same-day service. He was very courteous, professional and prompt. Its great to know that we have someone that we can call for future repair services if needed. The service was excellent!

Danny was an absolute professional. I took my truck to a shop this morning, and they wanted an arm and two legs to do the work. I found Half Price Mobile Mechanic on Google, and decided to give it a shot. I called him, he gave me a very reasonable quote, and was very punctual and professional. The shop that I went to earlier is a shop that I would consider myself a valued customer. Ive been doing business with them for years. I thought the quote they gave me this morning was absurd to say the least, and after searching a bit further, I found that to be true. Id encourage ANY and EVERYONE that reads this review to call Danny.. He is who Ill be calling from now on.

Let me start by saying I am horribly selective when it comes to people working on my vehicle. I spend more time choosing a mechanic than I do a doctor. I have done most of the repairs to my beloved truck until a surgery rendered me unable to. I had a great experience with him from the start. Very friendly on the phone. We set a time to do a considerable amount of work on my truck. He was in contact throughout the day, giving me updates on the time he should be there. He did a quality job in less time than expected. In talking with him, you could tell that he knew his stuff. Much more than I did!! I wholeheartedly recommend this business to anyone needing a mechanic. Thank you again sir!!

Please do NOT USE THIS FRAUDULENT MECHANIC. HE not only MISDIAGNOSED MY CAR PROBLEM BUT STOLE $200 plus DOLLARS FROMME. I’m suing and PRESSING CHARGES.

I was told on the phone he doesn’t come out to you(?)That doesn’t make sense to me when you advertise as a “mobile” mechanic.Edit: Owner replied to me and said they service within Statesboro, which is inconsistent with what I was told on the phone, as I stated I live on Lanier. Anyways, I ended up just getting a tow from Statesboro Tire and Brake, for only 50$, highly recommend them, same day service, see my review for more info.

I was stranded on the side of the road with little to no money and had no clue what was wrong with my car. I called and spoke with Danny and he was happy to come assist, he came prepared with what seemed like any and every tool. He was able to get my car going and saved me a lot of money. Outstanding service very generous and would highly recommend.

Danny is a really good mechanic. Came to see me on a short notice and fixed my car that same day. Really knows the ins and outs of a vehicle and diagnosed the problem very quickly. The pricing was reasonable and the service was good. I highly recommend him to come fix your car if needed.

Danny was awesome today. He repaired my sons car and went out of his way to fit him in his busy schedule. I happen to know about about cars and mechanics as I work on them too. I was unable to get down to my sons college and just called him out of the blue. I was pleased by his work and his honesty. When working on cars you never know what youre going to run into and Danny tells it like it is. Sometimes its good sometimes its not, but this guy only asks for what he has earned to get the job done.I would absolutely recommend him.

Guy gave me a time he would be at my house and he was on point. Very efficient and quick plus price wasnt bad especially I didnt have to worry about bringing my kids with me to a body shop and having to wait on my truck to be serviced or someone to pick me and bring me back. Definitely recommend!

My car is notorious for over heating. My dad couldn’t seem to find the problem so I called and got a hold of Danny. He came out the same day and fixed the problem which was a water pump bypass tube and a couple other lines that were leaking. My car hasn’t overheated since. From there I asked for a receipt since I paid with card and he sent it over immediately. Cost me a lot less than any other shop around. Thanks again for your service!

He charged me 60 for a diagnostic and still couldnt tell me what was really wrong with my car and soon as he left I had to go to another mechanic. So I lost 60 bucks for nothing.

Really good people. They came to me when my car could not move for a reasonable price. Tries to give the best deal.

Danny went out to look at my daughter’s vehicle because it wouldn’t start and power steering went out. He replaced a belt and power steering pump. Next day power steering was out again. Got charged another diagnostic fee and this time he said it was the rack and pinion. He replaced that as well. I’m now out nearly $1,000 and guess what - it still is leaking all the power steering fluid. When I’ve asked for detailed receipts of work done he says he has emailed but they never appear. When I told him the power steering was leaking again he said “someone must have messed with it”. I guarantee that’s not the case. I’m now trying to figure out if I can take any type of action against him.

HIGHLY RECOMENDEDI just came down to go to school at GSU and my car broke down right when I made it into town so my parents called Danny and he came right out and got me running in about two hours.

Yes hes cheaper than a repair shop but still expensive. Charged $60 to tell me what AutoZone wouldve told me for free. Then tricked me into going to him for the repair since he said hed put $40 of it toward the repair. Still charges about $50 an hour for labor. He told me getting a new EGR valve would increase my gas mileage so I spent $250 and Im still getting the same crappy mileage. And my check engine light was still on after he fixed it. Im not even sure he fixed it right. Talk to the guys at AutoZone, one of them fixes cars extremely cheap.

I had to get my car towed from a shop because the price they gave me was insane so I called the mobile mechanic and he got my car running the same day he came out which surprisingly was the day I called him. I’m very thankful for you guys!!

I had an issue with my truck driving to work and it turned out to be the alternator. He helped me diagnose over the phone and told me after I get off work to try and get to my house. My truck ended up only making it to Taco Bell at 7:30 pm. He gladly met me there and drove me where I needed to go to get the part and finished at 8:30. These guys saved my week and really for the price, you cant beat it. No one else would go out of their way but these guys went above and beyond. So thankful that this company is here in Statesboro. They will definitely be my go to mechanic.

Told me he would fix my car today. Waited until after 5 to text me and tell me he couldnt. Should have just had it towed to a repair shop. It would already be fixed. UNRELIABLE!!!
