This is the 3rd time that Ive brought my truck in for service at Sutliff GMC and I have to say, that they have been great to work with. Most recently I had the catalytic converters replaced on my truck under the GM warranty (Jim was my point of contact), and the process was seamless. They did an excellent job diagnosing the problem, ordering the replacement y-pipe and performing the repair quickly and properly. They never try to push additional add-ons or other service on you and are just down right easy to work with. I have had bad experiences with other dealerships in the past, but I have to say, so far Sutliff GMC of State College seems to be one of the good ones. Ill be using them for all of my service from here on out. Thank you!

Purchased 2019 Gmc Sierra which I traveled 3 hours to get because it was only color for the right price(truck was used about 9k miles).To my disappointment they did not fill my truck up with gas at delivery was a little over 3 quarters.,my oil life read 58% life remaining, and my inspection stickers were not updated(4 months out ).So how do you think I feel?There professionalism sucks.They may have not even serviced my truck prior to delivery. OH Well!,I STILL LIKE MY TRUCK.I could write more but I will leave it at the...Beware!

Dealership has an Go Out of the Way attitude for the customer!From the Service staff, Shuttle runner, ALL worked with me for the repair of my car. From dropping in with the needed repair to the ride to pick up and return from needing a rental, A Plus! I didnt deal with the parts department due to Jim at the service desk handling it for us! Extra parts follow up was needed and handled.This was a bigger job and communications between the dealership and me was key, and Jim was great! He was calling me with updates before i was thinking of nagging him!The dealership worked with my insurance company for rapid resolution as well.Please loan the Service Department to the Street Department as the concrete that wrecked the front end of the car would have never been such a hazard! Attention to detail is appreciated.Great job by a great team! Met my expectations! Thanks to ALL involved!

Was having some serious issues with my car one morning and the crew at Sutliff was able to get me in the same day. Worked with Gregory Lang to get my car checked out to figure what the issue was. He kept me informed, gave me appropriate inside to the cost, and was able to get me a ride back home while they inspected the vehicle. Car runs like a dream now and feel as though Greg and his team really did a great job from start to finish. I even got a car wash out of the deal :-). Also, Jim, another service rep, brought his wonderful personality to the experience as well.For reference I have a 2001 Buick, and its 2019. Car runs smoother than it never has before.Thanks folks!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!We are visiting State College this week and the air conditioning went out in the car. When I called Sutliff, the service department said they were full, but would fit us into their schedule. The experience was the best we could ask for. Everyone was so courteous, the service people keep us notified of what was happening, kept asking if they could do for us to keep us comfortable, and the waiting area were very comfortable. We cannot say enough for the experience we had. The service department made us feel like we were a long-time customer.Thank you again!

We love our Buick and the people here are great. They’re friendly, warm, and the shop is excellent! It’s amazing how different salesman can be when they don’t have to convince you to buy their product. Kid friendly waiting area with amenities makes waiting for your car to be serviced relaxing!

Went in for a simple computer scan and apparently it’s $120? Very disappointed they did not let me know of the price beforehand. I should have gone to autozone for their free scan 😡. Also they do not accept many warranties and this makes things extra frustrating.

Lee was a great sales person! I initially went to the dealership to test drive a Buick Encore based on talking to Bob at the Grange Fair and sitting in the car there. Lee left me take a long test drive to get a proper feel of the vehicle, plus he went over the car and told me how to use various gadgets and answered any and all questions. I left there to test drive vehicles at other dealerships and was impressed that Lee didnt pressure me to buy but left me with information and told to contact him. I came back later in the day to purchase and before I left, he went over the vehicle and how to program stuff.

My husband and I recently made the decision to purchase a Cadillac SRX. After checking the web for dealerships near or in State College we went to Sutliff. Our experience with our salesperson, Joe I, and all the staff was a really positive one. Joe was knowledgeable and funny and straightforward. Sealing the deal on the vehicle was interesting, is it ever fun?, but in the end we came away with the keys. I would recommend Sutliff and their staff to anyone looking for a vehicle. I had the problem with my Buick car that was related to coolant leaking. However, I have received a highly unreasonable quote from Sutliff Buick that required a replacement of at least 5 items. The quote was for ~ $1,100. Naturally I declined the proposed service as it did not seem to be correct to me. Indeed, when I brought my car to another shop the problem was fixed for ~$300 as only an elbow connector needs to be replaced. Overall, I expected much higher professionalism from the Buick dealership especially when I was still charged $90 for diagnostics.Update: Good service after that

Ed Mills (shuttle driver) came to my rescue and provided excellent customer service! I asked that my vehicle not be washed because I just had it detailed, but as we pulled onto the lot I could see it sitting there soaking wet...ugh!...and I mentioned it to Ed. He took it upon himself to get two towels and dry my vehicle for me in 20 degree weather. Thanks Ed! :)

Our Equinox died on us, and without an appointment, we had it towed to Sutliff. They got it right in, one day before the big storm, and while they told us they probably wouldnt have it fixed until after the weekend, they rushed the part and got the work done the next day. Literally hours before the storm blew in. They went above and beyond, did a tremendously professional job, and were the nicest crew to work with. I couldnt be happier with my experience with them.

My rear differential was failing on a Terrain lease. The team at Sutliff worked to get the part for me which was on back-order and even gave me a loaner car in case it snowed. The Sutliff service department always had my best interests in mind and did their best to remedy the situation despite the fact that the part for my car was on back-order.

I have personally leased 4 cars with Bill E. through this dealership, my mom has leased 2 cars with Bill, and now my husband and I just went there to get his new vehicle. Bills knowledge of the vehicles on his lot never ceases to amaze me. He also knows how they compare to the competition which allows him to answer questions that sometimes the competition doesnt even know about their own cars. We have never felt pressure to buy on the spot. Test driving has always been encouraged and we have never been made to feel that we are wasting anyones time. On top of all that, the service department is superb. John has been there since I got my first Saturn back in 1997, and Jim is great at explaining what needs to be done and how much its going to cost and they all treat me with respect, unlike other places that have talked down to me because I am a woman. We buy GM as much for the dealership as we do the cars.

These guys are great! I went in without an appointment and they fixed me right up. I was from out of town and I tried the local Chevy dealer (Stroker?) since I had a Chevy but they did not want to help. The person who answered the phone was hurried and obviously did not want to be bothered by someone in need of immediate help. Sutliff Buick GMC Cadillac not only got me on my way for a lot less than I expected, but seemed to truly care about getting me back on the road. Thank you Sutliff!!!!

Had the weirdest encounter with the scheduling service manager. Asked if they would do the maintenance on my Equinox, said will call back, never did. So I stopped by at the shop. Then He took an almost accusatory tone with me. Kept saying he wont do warranty type repairs on the car, without having looked ad the car and even though I told him all I came in that I was in the 1st oil change on my 2017 Equinox. Felt like he pushed me to Stocker Chevy, even though a Buick/Cadi shop should be able to perform this task. He had a accusatory weird stance, almost felt like i was doing him wrong by asking if Sutliff can do the first maintenance on my brand new Equinox. Needless to say; wont be going back for service. Stocker was a bit of a longer drive for me, but had me in and out in jiffy. I guess The service managers mission is accomplished.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, and I have owned cars for over 40 years. Went to the service department for a minor reset after a repair elsewhere. The 3 men at the desks never heard of the reset i needed. Told me my mechanic of 4 years messed up the car and I would need diagnostic checks of $89 then they would fix the problem. Went to Stocker and they heard of the reset so I am going there.
