This was so bad my friend and I cried for hours after

I walked in for a pedicure. Told me to come back in 5 minutes. There were 3 ladies working.I was the 1st to have a pedicureMarie did a good job.Then it started getting busy. Not handled well. This will improved.Only pedicures here.

Never go to this place. She wasn’t even looking at my nails when she was doing my nails. I even got small bubbles on my nail as seen in pic. I would never enter this place again. I suggest you put the same amount somewhere else.

I had a wonderful Jasmine deluxe pedicure. The Hispanic lady that did it was amazing. She did an excellent job! I highly recommend her. Definitely going back next time with her.

Felt very rushed. Anytime I asked for something the lady would be annoyed and at one point yelled at me. Their motto is surely not “make the customer happy”. Their motto is “hurry up, shut up and give me my money”. I would never recommend this place.

I am really shocked by all of the negative reviews of Nails Hollywood on here. I have been a client for 13 years, and have never had anything less than superior service. All of the employees are friendly, professional, gracious, and courteous. Their pricing is fair, and they do excellent work. They actually go above and beyond to provide personalized service, and have hit the mark every time for me in all of my 13 years of being a patron of their store.

On Saturday, September 8th 2018, I went in to get a pedicure and an eye brow wax. The pedicure was fine but during the waxing, the lady either put too much wax on my brows or placed wax way below my brow and waxed my skin off. Now I am fighting to not have a scar on my face.DO NOT GET ANY TYPE OF WAXING FROM THIS SALON. They are inexperienced and they don’t see a problem with that.

I’ve been Nails Hollywood customer over 10 years and their service is always great and 100% satisfying. Recently I noticed my husband’s feet have thick calluses with deep cracks and I almost felt I needed sending him to a doctor or medical clinic. But first, I wanted him to have a chance getting nail Hollywood’s signature “Jasmine pedi” and what a magic it turned out to be!!! He got brand new feet, soft and clean like a baby’s!!! I know some people judge the nail salons by the fancy interiors or the staff’s friendliness, and I understand this salon has outdated interiors and not so phony friendly staff, but I know I don’t pay my money to “fancy decorations” or “phony, almost snobby smiles to well uniformed staff” just like any other instagramable salons. Every penny I spent at Nails Hollywood is worthy and THANK YOU Young, Diana, Maria, Ana for the great work you always do for me and my husband! :)

I was charged yesterday(5/29/2018) an extra $3 dollars for picking out an Essie Robinson egg blue color for my pedicure, and my pedicure was $25. I dont like making scenes, so I didnt, I just paid it. Is this normal for a salon, New policy? Plus, the lady that did my pedicure seemed really pissed when she realized her too was going on the debit card. I didnt realize there was a note asking if the tip could be in cash, until I sat down to dry my toes. They used to be really, really good since I was last there a couple of years ago, but they are beginning to slip. I gave 3 stars because the foot and leg massage was actually nice. Nails Hollywood, you have to go back to having better service. There is so much competition today. I did call the salon a few minutes ago, asked for the manager. The lady who answered the phone was kind-of rude. Told me shes very busy, she doesnt have time to talk I was asking her when tthe manager would be in. I was going to give them another chance, but next time, Im just going to stop in and ask about that extra $3 charge for nail polish. Im thinking it was a slow night, so she figured shed get extra money out of me, damn shame!

Will never go back! From the minute you walk in, they are rushing you. I couldn’t pick out my nail color in peace without them hovering over me and hurrying me up. There was no one waiting. They told me that a pedicure and gel manicure cost $50. I added callous remover for $11 and they charged me $74. They said that since I added something else the promotion was no longer valid and I have to pay full price. The gel manicure was messy; there’s nail polish on my skin. The pedicure was rushed. I was very disappointed and won’t ever do business there again.

Went in for a pedicure, the pedicure was great and came out really nice... however, I had a gift card and this isn’t my usual nail place and I only went because of this gift card so when I went to pay I handed the nail tech my gift card (and kinda got a dirty look about it) and my credit card to pay the rest of my balance. She ended up charging my credit card the full amount and came back with my gift card and told me she forgot to use it and charged me the full amount but not to worry because the gift card doesn’t expire, had this been my regular nail place I wouldn’t have cared but I wasn’t planning on going back because they just try to push a whole bunch of unsolicited services onto you and I really hate that, anyways I demanded that they use the gift card and refund me for the extra amount they charged me, they were hesitant and told me it would take 10 minutes (they were aware I was in a rush to get back to work) after telling them I was not leaving until I got my refund I miraculously got my refund within 3 minutes. Fabulous pedicure, bad service.

I got mani, pedi, eyebrow wax and Brazilian wax here. I had a great experience, go and ask for Taiwana, she is the best!! It was my first Brazilian wax and she did the best job and she always checked if I was okay. Will go back to her again!! She also did my mani pedi and it was great.

This place is terrible! I was in a rush and needed my nails done for an event. I never sat in a chair and questioned if I should stop them mid-service because everything was so dirty. Absolutely no cleanliness (tables, stations, utensils, polish) Everything is re-used! I risked it... got a gel manicure, went back to work, the paint chipped off within 5 hours. I went back the next day and they fixed the problem. (The lady blamed my nails for not holding the gel) ...Today, ALL of my gel polish is coming off. You pay the same as the best places in Stamford, do not waste your money & time here!

Service across the board was HORRIBLE. And staff yells and complains to customers about not tipping even when they do their job poorly. Asked for a gel pedicure, woman initially and very frantically pulled me around the entire salon like she didnt know where I was to sit. I waited 10 minutes then as I was about to leave a man said frantically Im almost done dont leave. So I stayed, my mistake. He messed up the first toe had to cmpletrly redo it. He barely shaped each nail and then did a poor paint job on GEL NAILS! I told him I didnt like the way it looked he said it was my toes. At checkout he professed how much will you be adding as tip I told him none and that I wasnt satisfied with the service. He began yelling that he survives off tips and that I must tip him. I told him fine Ill give you a tip but I wont be returning. HE KEPT TRYING TO ARGUE, so I said forget the tip, youre extremely rude and I wont be returning . Please take your money elsewhere, $60 wasted.

Very friendly and genuine people but the services was not equivalent to the cost. I received a gel pedicure which was nearly $60, lets just say the overall experience wasn’t what I’m use to personally. Very rushed and not as precise with the cutting and the painting was uneven. My lady nicked me by cutting too close to my cuticle! She apologized and did it again to my other foot.Like I stated lovely people but the service needs to be better!

I had a great experience. The lady doing my nails asked for my name, held a conversation the entire time and constantly made sure I was satisfied with what she was doing. My nails look great and Ive been here several times.

Just terrible. They over charge you and the polish chips the same day. Listen to the other reviews. They are accurate.

For $25 pedi I would expect more. It was below average. Plus they charge $1 for a quick dry. Cmon

Overpriced, not clean, and definitely a little on the ride side. Came here because we had a giftcard and when we went in for a mani pedi they didn’t put a bag on the place where the water is . I look and see the owner scraping the aluminum and straightening it out in order to reuse again. Also take the gloves out of the trash to reuse again . GROSS!I made sure that they only used new things but I’m pretty sure after I left I saw them reuse the stuff on other people .The woman tried to overcharge me but I did the math and had to correct her .I do not trust this place and unless you want to catch something please don’t go here.If you do go here the only person I would trust is the Colombian girl who is there who checked in with me to make sure everything was ok and was super nice .

HORRRIBLE! Don’t even deserve one start. The nail polish they use it’s literal paint for walls. It wasn’t glossy like it should be! The service is horrible they couldn’t even do a manicure the right away they were cleaning my cuticle literally In the air. Don’t go there!!!!! ....... if you are going to have a business and charge so much you should make sure your clients leave happy And with their nails done the right away. My nails chipped the same day.... they use “named brand” nail polish but in reality they just buy the cheap one and refill it.

My nails didn’t look too bad but the paint is horrible !!!! I recommend people NOT going there, and they tried to force me in getting these unsolicited services, like if I said no is no, I don’t want no damm massage, I just wanna do my nails and toes and bounce ! But they always wanna see the clients as a bank, they overcharge for poor service, they need to take that nail salon down from that nice Stamford mall, it’s taking the nice off of it because everything else in that mall is nice but this nail salon, I accidentally messed up one nail I bumped in to a table and that lady was putting a face, attitude, take your money elsewhere ! I recomend New York ! If you can make it to New York and get ur nails AND eyebrows done, go to New York ! YESTERDAY JANUARY 17 I WALKED IN AND ASKED HOW MUCH WAS A FILL IN . THE MANAGER SAID 25 DOLLARS, I SAID OKAY I WOULD LIKE A FILL IN PLEASE. SO I HAPPEND TO BE READING THERE PRICE RATES ON THE WALL. I READ GEL FILL IN 20 DOLLERS. NOW USUALLY OTHER NAILS SALONS ARE PACIFIC LIKE for EXAMPLE GEL FILL IN ON WEDS ETC, NOTHING WAS QUOTED ON THE SIDE TO BE CLEAR .SO I ASKED THE MANAGER WHY U CHARGED ME 25 DOLLERS FOR A REGULAR FILL IN WHEN YOUR WALL SAYS 20 DOLLERS FOR A GEL FILL IN ? SHE STARTS TALKING IN CHINESE WITH ANOTHER LADY AND TOLD ME THIS IS MY PRICE U DONT LIKE DONT COME .I DEMANDED A RECIEPT THEY SAID THEY COULDNT PROVIDE BECAUSE I PAID CASH. I TOLD THEM BY LAW I HAVE A RIGHT TO HAVE MY RECEIPT. I ASKED FOR THE TIP I GAVE THEM SINCE I FELT THEY FORCEFULLY TOOK ONE BY ADDING FIVE EXTRA DOLLERS FOR A REG FILL IN . Dont waste your money or time going. This place is horrible and expensive for no reason. A kid could do mani/pedi better than them. Run and go somewhere else. I complained to the this other lady and she just ignored me and told me to come back. Worst place ever.

Pornfin I found a good place to get my manicure done right. Detailed at 100%. I left that place very relaxed. I recommend it 100%
