I walked into the salon with a smile and excited because I was going to get my hair done after a month of not having time for myself…. Once I walked in everyone stared at me with a serious expression without say a thing. I finally broke the stare and said I was here to get a wash & set, one of the girls just looked at me and continued to sweep the floor, another kept eating and the other that was busy doing a costumers hair answered and said “okay” and said nothing else. I sat down thinking maybe they needed a minute to gather everything because the salon was not busy at all… besides the other customer getting her hair done there was no one else but me. There was like two other hairdressers in the salon that was free. After about 15-20mins waiting without no interaction what so ever and other people going in and out of the salon. I finally walked out. I was so upset of wasted time. When I got to my car, there was a gentlemen that called out to me from the salon at the corner. He asked if I was there to get my hair done and if so I can come back because the one of the hairdressers was ready…. But I told him no thank you. I just found another salon in Stamford and I’m so glad I did.

I have thick very curly hair. I go to the salon maybe twice a year. I went in for the first time and got my hair done with Giselle and she did an amazing job. Will definitely go back.

Front desk staff was nice but the rest of the staff was very bland.. From the moment I walked in, I asked “how much”? All she said was; have a seat. I asked again, no response. Silly me proceeded to sit, thinking; how much can a wash & set be? After almost 2 & 1/2 hours of prepping and sitting under them dryer, I was ready to get my hair blown out only to have to wait another 20 + minutes for Evelyn to finish her client who came in way after me. Evelyn went to get another hairstylist to ask for assistance and instead, that hair stylist went back outside to chit chat instead of helping! So much for team work! After all that; I was charged $45.00. For a wash & set! I hope they enjoyed getting it, because that’s the last time I’ll ever go back!El personal de recepción era agradable, pero el resto del personal era muy soso. Evelyn fue a buscar a otro peluquero para pedir ayuda y en su lugar, ese estilista de pelo volvió afuera a charlar en lugar de ayudar! ¡Mucho para el trabajo en equipo! Después de todo eso; Me cobraron $45.00. Para un lavado y set! ¡Espero que hayan disfrutado de conseguirlo, porque es la última vez que volveré!

Goos attention but expensive.

If I had listened to the comments that I see here, I wouldn’t go but I’m glad that I went today,it was the OPPOSITE of the negative comments. The salon was clean, everyone was doing their own things, very quiet & professional. Eveline did my hair and it was really nice 👍🏾, the way I wanted it and she listened to what I told her at the beginning which is I didn’t want my hair to smell burnt.P.S: Just go & try it for your own self ...

Arrived Sunday morning near 9:30 am. Greeted with a smile and a family of women waiting to treat my hair. My goal was a wash and trim. I received an awesome shampoo, conditioner, and blow dry. Hair treated so well. Awesome blow out. In and out by 10:15 am. Total cost $40 USD. No VISA accepted only cash. Good news ATM on site. Fantastic!! Thank You Dominican Girls!!

Great experience all around! The stylists are amazing at their craft and create a warm, friendly and professional environment. The poor reviews are a stark contrast to reality. Keep in mind this salon came under new management almost 1 year ago. Thank you ladies for a positive experience and I fully endorse this establsihment!!!!

I absolutely love this Salon, they have great service and they use really good hair products. My stylist is Scarlet, she has growing hands. I’ve been going to her for the past 3yrs and my hair is healthy & strong. I would recommend this salon to any woman🤗

I firmly believe that they put relaxer in my natural hair somehow. Maybe through the shampoo process out conditioning because after I got my blow out, my hair smelled like sulfur and when I tried to wash my hair my curl pattern had completely changed. I resembled a wet poodle. Now I have to start all over again. Ill never go back here and dont recommend anyone come here.

1st time visit.I took my 15 year old to shape up her big chop .Awesome job.Very nice respectful .And my daughter was happy..left feeling confident.Great shop to go.They know what to do.

I got my hair straightened and they ended up burning my hair no heat protective spray, no deep conditioning, and she forgot to trim my ends I regret going to this dump. I couldnt get rid of the burned smell my hair was so damaged I ended up cutting my hair never ever again will I go to a salon I dont know. I should have walked out the place was not clean hair on the floor combs on the counter it was so unorganized. I have gotten my hair blown out in Philly at a Domenican salon and they did a great job. I wish if I could give 0 star to this dump.

Scarlett did my niece’s hair wash, blow dry, and flat iron. It came out beautiful and she was super nice and friendly!

My hair is natural and I honestly do not let just anyone touch it. This is the only spot I feel safe to have them straighten my hair. I hear horror stories about natural girls getting relaxers without knowing it. I always bring my own shampoo and conditioner along with one of the most important things, my treseme heat protectant. I don’t straighten my hair often but when I do I always go there because ☝🏽 they listen when I tell them to spray the heat protectant from roots to end and finally I always come out with my hair well blown and very silky without damaging my curls ! This is one of the few spots I actually trust. I definitely recommend especially for natural girls !

I went here last week and I was very upset how I was treated. They thought because I wasnt speaking spanish back to them that I did not know any Spanish. Multiple girls were talking bad about my hair trying trying to charge me more than usual. Ive came here a couple of times and I swear they change the prices every time I come there. The women also answered the phone while she was blow drying my hair. It was very unprofessional. I did not leave a good tip because of it. I would not recommend anyone to come here.

Be careful. I got my arms waxed today. The lady that did the work was friendly but I ended up with big patches of removed skin. Initially it didnt appear that away but by evening my arms look like I got a nice beating by a belt :-(

If your going to a nice event this place is not for you.Every time I ask for longer side burns or tell them what I want they mess it up.Ive switched between 5 different ppl I only had one person who actually did my hair right.Ive completely given up on this place.Now if I get a haircut I dont expect much.Not worth the $25 they charge I always walk out unsatisfied

I just read a review where someone wrote they paid 25$...I paid 40 for a 11 year child 35 for blow out, 5 for deep conditioner..PRICE wasnt too much the problem, although thats crazy....DISRESPECTFUL....TALKING ABOUT YOU IN THERE LANGUAGE AND...........HAIR TOOLS/ COMBS! STILL HAD OTHER PEOPLES HAIR IN THEM!!!!!(HAVE VIDEO WILL UPLOAD).I WATCHED A COMB fall on the floor...I picked it up and it wasnt a comb that came out of the germicide solution/hair container, It was on the station from someone elses hair!!!! Watched the stylist use it on my daugther...Alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the combs had OTHER PEOPLES HAIR IN IT..KEPT BURNING MY DAUGHTER but not other customers that they serviced just minds.....and stuck her middle finger to my daughters forehead....Sink......had hair from previous customer with comb and hair still there while she used it on my daughter in which i then gave her my own detangling brush I bought for my own hair............NO they did not clean sink with any solution. Germicide is supposed to be diluted in with water and change very frequent.. YOU USE YOUR OWN COMBs any way you want but on other peoples hair in a place of business is different.Horrible customer service and I HEARD THEM REPEATITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY NEVER EVER AGAIN!The video i have you can see other peoples hair in all those brushes and you didnt use them all on my daughter...plus the way they combed out the hair ...from the scalp to the ends....I comb my daughter hair better than they do and Im rough....Terrible...NO STARSSSS......but I HAD TO GIVE 1...WAS MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY AND WHAT A WASTE OF A DAY AND MONEY!!AND her hair smelt BURNT...35$ Dubbies aint worth it!
