Dear girls and salon!I highly dont recommend this place to make your nails. My mother and I got a number from one girl. We had to get nails done for the wedding, so we thought wed try. I was surprised by the behavior of the man who works there and the lady who took care of my hands. The man who did my mothers nails was unreliable, without culture. Every time, my mother saw the imperfections that he was doing, he laughed. He did not meet her expectations,and he spoke Chinese to his workers about us. I find it unfair. When it comes to my stylist, she took a nail clipper, made me a square shape and applied the color without filing it. I asked her to file these nails and she said that she knew what she was doing. Which is nothing. My nails were razor sharp. Additionally, I said that I want my nails to be made on protein base because it will make my nails stronger and they will not break easily. She was looking at me as if she had never heard or seen it in her life. The salon is not professional. They do everything quickly. If you had looked at how this gentleman was doing these nails for my mom, youd grab your head. From my perspective, he was hitting her hands with this brush. He did everything sloppily and fast. When a speck appeared on the nail, he took it off with his finger. The files they have in the salon have been used many times. Probably all clients were served by it. Tools that are supposed to be sterilized show rust and dirt. Each tool should be packed separately and placed in the machine. It was written on the desk that the desk is anti-dust and currently there is plenty on it! It is out of my mind. I immediately warn you that if someone wants to extend their nails, they will do it on tips and not on the gel. This whole company should take a literal course but in Europe country. They have no idea how to run this place. Surely the sanitary-epidemiological station did not come there for a long time.Its worth mentioning that they still wanted a tip after this whole situation! Let them be glad I paid for it! My two-day manicure looks like Ive already had one for a week! Im disappointed! Hope this review helps other customers. I was in desperate need of a pedicure and Vivian blessed me and my toes. I paid $60 for the happy heel spa pedicure and it was very much worth it. Vivian took her time and did an amazing job. Ive been to other salons here in Stamford and have been very disappointed in the past with professionalism and quality overall. I definitely will be returning to Colorocity!

This place had been recommended by a dear friend and I am frankly disappointed . I’ve been trying to give them a fair chance but I think after this, my third visit (and possibly my last) I will not be returning.The people there do not take their time, they hurt you in the process of getting to the next customer. Today for sure was the deciding factor for me, when one of the girls in the middle of finishing up with my mom had the nerve of saying “we need the chair” (seeing that my mom was looking for the tip to give her and couldn’t spare 2 more minutes) . By the way the trusted we pay cash when on their site and window says you can pay with card.The place is in a good location and the place lols clean but the people providing the service could do better .

On top of the fact they just raised prices (they already have been pretty expensive), some girls are very rude and look like they are being bothered you came in.They dont update their colors nor adding anything new. Also if you want some cooler design cant do it either, just old fashionable gel or powder

THIS PLACE IS AN UNDERRATED GEM! Vivian is the absolute best, she worked with me to really understand what I wanted. The whole place is really clean and professional, great service and fantastic nail techs. Cannot recommend enough!!

Liya is amazing and does an excellent job with my gel manicure. She never rushes and is very meticulous. My gel has never lasted three weeks before her (and Ive been to hundreds of places all over NYC and Stamford combined.)

Nicely spaced customers, consistent hand washing and very clean. I wasnt sure I was ready to return to this type of business but my feet felt soooo good afterwards that I was happy that I did.

I literally had the worst pedicure Ive ever had. She would not do my calluses and didnt put a top coat on. Ive had hundreds of pedicures and this has been the worst. Save your money.

This place is AMAZING 🙌🏽Even with COVID-19, I feel super safe here because they practice and enforce safety procedures.They take your temperature, sanitize your hands and feet, and make you wash your hands upon entry. They also space everyone at least 6 feet apart to practice social distancing and masks are mandatory.In terms of the service, 100% great! Ive been going here for 2 years now and have never had a bad experience. Everyone here is professional and very helpful. Personally, I love getting fun designs on my nails, and even though its hard, they always make my nails look amazing!It is kinda pricey, but the service and results are 100% worth it! Highly recommend!!!

Came in for a dip powder and pedicure. What was suppose to be a pedicure took her five mins. Everything felt rushed and when I asked for a tip on one of my nails she only told me the price after she put it on. I wasn’t comfortable what so ever and didn’t like the service PERIOD. When it came time to leave a tip, on the $82 dollar bill( for a dip powder manicure & a pedicure) I left 5 dollars because I wasn’t happy. The owner later on while I waited for my friend to be finished started walking around me in circles. Tried to humiliate me for leaving a 5 dollar tip even tho the service was horrible and I made sure he knew. The owner of this establishment made me feel like a thief as if I didn’t pay for my bill and told me to never come back which trust me lol I won’t. FIND ANYWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE PLEASE if you want a comfortable place that will take their time with you.

Ive been here to have an SNS manicure done about six times and each time I would ask about the VIP rewards card in which they promote. After a certain amount of visits they will honor a service once a rewards card is received. Each time the manager would say they dont have anymore but every time he says that I see another worker handing one out to another customer. It is very unpleasant and unprofessional to chose who to give the rewards cards to.

One of the sloppiest pedicures I have ever had and I paid up for one of the more deluxe pedicures. I’m going to have to re-do it myself. Manicure was ok. The place was also very chaotic and disorganized. Everything felt rushed. Won’t be coming back.

Words can truly not express the happiness I feel when I look at my nails! Wing and Lisa along with the wonderful gentleman at the front desk all devoted well over an hour to perfecting my nails and giving me exactly what I wanted. They have truly gone above and beyond what I have ever experienced at any other nail salon and will definitely be seeing me for years to come

I moved to the area a month ago and had bad experiences with multiple nail salons downtown Stamford. I’m so glad I came to Colorcity!! My first time here and I will be a forever customer! im enchanted by their clean salon, cleaning and disinfecting everything often, following cdc guidelines, affordable prices, their attention to detail, excellent customer service and personable staff made my experience unforgettable! My first time going to Colorcity and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! Friendly staff, very clean salon, and the best covid precautions that I’ve seen from a nail salon. I had my temperature checked and my hands/soles of my shoes sprayed with sanitizer before entering. Great color selection for dip powder! Jenny did a great job with my nails and I received an excellent massage from the masseuse, who’s name I unfortunately did not catch.

Yesterday was my first experience at the establishment. I was pleased with the safety precautions upon arrival. Furthermore, Vivian did a gorgeous pedicure and Daniel did amazing job with my gel tips. I would highly recommend Colorcity Nails and Spa if you want to be pampered and walk away feeling beautiful. It was worth the 39 minutes drive😊

Very expensive, some technician just rushed you out. They offered a deal on pedicure but there is no difference then a regular one. They always try to push you for the most expensive service.

I stopped going a while ago because they’d tell you appointments were available, yet I’d often be left waiting for 15-30 minutes. One time the owner even told me he forgot I was there. I’d rather someone be honest and say “we’re busy, come back another time.” It’s in a great spot and the salon is very clean and well kept, reasonably priced as well.

They do a great job with your nails. Also, this is a big salon in which they do and in which they are able to take appropriate precautions during this pandemic. Also, just in general, it is a very clean and hygienic nail salon.

I didn’t expect to pay $100 but at the same time my nail guy did an amazing job. Feel terrible that I was not fully prepared and was only able to tip $5 but next time around I will definitely come prepared. He wasn’t like most techs who just let ur nail be out of shape, he made sure they were perfect, something I never experienced before. The environment is clean and peaceful .. huge difference from what I experience in the Bronx.

Very friendly environment, & all great nail artists, mine is Sharon amd she is amazing & does a great job, she is very meticulous & makes sure you leave with beautiful nails that people will compliment until you have to get them done again! Fantastic! Jin always responds to my appointment requests promptly, and my nails always turn out great. Ive been especially impressed by how they are handling the COVID situation. Ive been twice since reopening, and both times, they took my temperature, ensured I had on a proper mask, had me sanitize my hands and bottom of my shoes, and had me wash my hands at the sink prior to selecting my polish color. These extra measures and the exceptional service make Color City the best nail salon in Stamford.

I am new to the Stamford area so I went looking for a new nail salon. This place had great reviews so I thought I would give it a try. BIG MISTAKE. Terrible experience. Will not be returning.1. The tried to take the acrylic off my finger nails with the drill. The drilled down so far that they drilled into my nail bed. My nail bed is now soooo weak it burns when I put my hand under hot water.2. About 5 people rotated on my nails and toes. it was as if they didnt know what they were doing.3. It was 5:45, they close at 7. They rushed through my whole process.4. The gel pedicure was just okay. unimpressed.

So this is my third time going and it is again disappointing. I’m not going back! First time they really did a decent job on my nails, staff seemed to be very nice until they got their tip. They were very dis-satisfied with the 17% tip even though I was charged for the massage twice and paid it (an extra $13). Second time I go I get the $13 massage for 10 minutes, no problem this time. I just don’t feel I should be pressured into tipping 20% to every person that puts their hands on me. So today, my third time there, my bill was $105 and I had $15 change left. I said please just split it amongst your workers and asked to have a members card. The owner very rudely said to me the owner’s card membership is for people that tip 20%. WoW! I think it’s wrong to treat people that way. They are so money hungry and disconnected to humanity. Don’t attempt to make others feel small for non required tips. I spent $120 (inclusive of the tip) and this is the treatment received for not giving $6 more.

Love love love ColorCity Nails. Went to another local nail salon for years, they started to get sloppy, switched to Color City. Love the atmosphere. Nobody yapping away on their cellphones. They have a polite sign up that says, please refrain from loud conversations. Lucky, most people oblige. Good prices. Great service.

I went for a gel manicure and a pedicure with my bridesmaids and mother-in-law the day before my wedding. They were super welcoming and gracious, made sure we were treated well, and even gave me a gift certificate for a future visit! All of the nail technicians were very thorough and quick. They did beautiful work and everyone enjoyed their experience. If you can trust them with your wedding day, they have my endorsement for any time!

Been going there to get my nails done since the very first day the opened shop. Their excellent service has stayed the same. I’ve always had a pleasant experience. Whenever I have family visiting from out of the country I take them there to get their nails done and they are always happy and impressed. Nicest staff too.

Very clean and tidy salon. Staff was pleasant and offered a menu of services. Always call ahead, especially on weekends. I went on a Tuesday late afternoon and they were able to accommodate me. They also have a free rewards program, where every dollar earns a point. The upgrades to the services are worth it.

The best place in Faifield country!IVY and AMY -are beyond amazing. Very caring, FRIENDLY and whats most importantly do excellent job!Clean cuticles, know how to shape the nail correctly, buff the polish etc!

I went on the opening after COVIDI was greeted at the door and asked to wait outside until someone was leaving. Before I could even enter the door I had my temperature tested, hands sprayed with sanitizer, and the bottom of my shoes sprayed with sanitizer. I was then asked to wash my hands before picking a color. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that you felt as safe as possible. Wiping down all of the chairs and stations inbetween clients and proper spacing. Daniel did an amazing job on my nails and toes. I would highly recommend going here !

Please please do not go here. They don’t push your cuticles. Don’t soak your hands in water. Don’t actually paint well. Waste of money. If the owner says something negative in response to this, it will demonstrate his professionalism or lack thereof further.. as he offered to give me money back as I was leaving.

This has been my 3rd time at this salon and each time was decent. The staff is friendly and they do a nice pedicure. I am giving one star because I got a gel manicure one week ago and it has already mostly peeled off. The last time I had a similar experience with the gel manicure. They are a little pricier than the other salons in town so I felt like I had to share my experiences. Something is off with their gel manicure, for it to not even last 2 weeks is unacceptable. And I’m not rough with my nails or anything the polish just literally peels off. On the plus side they do an amazing regular pedicure that I would highly recommend.

By FAR the best place I have been to! Came for mother’s day and EVERYTHING from the employees, to the place, to the smells, to the noise was absolutely perfect!!! Working in the medical field I can appreciate what a clean, sterilized environment is... and this nail salon has it!! Wish them much success. They are certainly doing things right!

The quality of the work depends on the worker you are stuck with. Did not have a good experience at all. The quality of worked was not impressive. I was not offered water or given a massage. The job was done in such a rush. And after all this the owner will humiliate you in front of the other customers asking you for a bigger tip. The only positive thing is the cleaniness.

I don’t know what the previous review meant about “expensive” as it is actually cheaper than the lower end nail salons in the area. We went here on a whim after our other salon became something similar to that of a textile factory. What a blessing to have found this location. Good energy, pleasant people, and my mom and I both have beautiful nails :)

Visited this place. If you like high end places this place is for for you. A bit expensive for an average customer. I did a callus remover treatment and the girl was a bit rough. My foot was hurting for a couple of days and the my feet didnt feel smooth.

I just got back from going to Colorcity for a gel manicure and pedicure and I had to review them right away because I had such a great experience!!I had Shirley and she was AMAZING the entire time. I went in for a regular pedicure but they had 20% off spa pedicures so I went with the Colorcity Spa pedicure that includes a 10 minute massage (so great!) also gel manicures are typically 35 but they had $5 off!The salon is very clean and relaxing. I signed up for their free vip membership card so I can gain points towards free services. At the end Shirley gave me 2 coupons! One being $20 off a spa pedicure. I’m 100% coming back to this salon and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great mani/pedi!

I wish I could give 0 star..I been there first and LAST time.. waited there for more then 40 mins for my turn..i got gel pedicure.. they changed 57$ for that! the girl who was doing my pedicure was looking fully tired.. didn’t clean nails evan.. just washed .. put nail paint!after that lotion and gave 7 mins total massage (should be 10 mins)with very sleepy and tried hands.. they said its peraffin spa..she brought two small pauch of peraffin and put on my heels..for 30 seconds.. ands said doneSo actually I gave them 65$ for nail paint 🤪
