We went here for a wisdom teeth removal consult, and while Dr. Jungwirth was thorough and knowledgeable, the receptionists were kind of dramatic. They said it wouldn’t be covered under our dental insurance and were somewhat shady. When we called our insurance, they said it should be covered under medical and not dental. When the insurance representative called them, she said they didn’t accept medical insurance and would have to do it out out-of-network. The person at this office transferred it to the billing office, and the person there was very rude, as she lied to us and the insurance representative twice. We’re consulting another office who will accept our medical insurance.

Dr. Jungwirth and the staff at the Springfield office are extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Ive had three procedures done there since August 2020, and Dr. Jungwirth always makes them as painless as possible while working efficiently, and most importantly, successfully. I highly recommend Dr. Jungwirth and his team.

I got my wisdom teeth removed here a couple months ago and I was really nervous. The staff and Dr. Patel made me feel very comfortable and answered all of the questions I had. The surgery itself was fast and painless. Dr. Patel also sent a message to check on me when I had gotten home. Recovery was fast with no pain at all. Thank you Dr. Patel!

What an amazing place! Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with any dentist office. Was able to get in the same day with an emergency extraction as a new patient! Dr.Jungwirth had amazing bed side manors and really took his time explaining every option making sure I felt completely comfortable.

Dr. Michael Jungwirth (pronounced yung-worth) is a new associate at this office and he was my Doctor for my wisdom teeth removal. My experience with him was fantastic. I was nervous about the whole thing as can be expected but he made it easy during every step of the process. He made sure to answer all my questions to make me feel as comfortable as possible. After the surgery (which went very smoothly) he called in the evening to check up on me and gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any concerns.Nobody wants to deal with oral surgery, but if you are in pain, this is the place to go. The staff here is also very friendly and kind and will make sure you have a positive experience!

My experience with Dr.Jungwirth was beyond what I expected he’s very nice, caring, and goes over the top for his patients. I was very very nervous heart racing but Dr.Jungwirth and his associate Joseline talked me through my whole procedure and when he said he was done I was sooo relieved, I would highly recommend him a thousand times. 😊

I don’t usually write long reviews, but my experience today at Lorton Springfield was simply phenomenal - and I don’t think a lot of people say that after having 2 teeth removed!!! Starting two weeks ago when I came in for a consultation, Dr. Jungwirth and his assistant Zack were so welcoming and personable, answered all my questions and eased my anxiety. Today I came in to get my wisdom teeth pulled out, and I was extremely stressed. Zack and Dr. Jungwirth calmed me down and made sure I was doing alright throught the procedure. I was amazed by how thorough the doctor was, one of the roots for one of my teeth broke, and although he said 99% of the cases there are no issues whatsoever, he spent an extra hour to get that root out and make sure I will not have future complications. I was simply amazed by the services and how professional he was! He even put my favourite music on to make me feel at ease and his assistant Zack held my hand and kept telling me everything was going to be alright. Hands down the best experience I ever had in dental office. Dr. Jungwirth even called me to make sure I was doing alright!!! No doctor has ever done that. And they were very trasparent about the prices from the beginning, letting me know what my insurance would cover. I highly recommend Lorton Springfield, and doctor Jungwirth and his assistant Zack, they are the best people you could work with!!!

My daughter had her wisdom teeth out. Staff was thoughtful and helpful. Procedure went smoothly and we were provided with good written instructions for prior and post surgery as well as a run through with the assistant.Doctor Patel met with us during the first meeting. He was informative and patient with all my questions. We saw him briefly after the surgery but really was a check-in. The assistants handled the post-op.

Dr. Patel is fantastic. I chose him over my dentist to remove two of my wisdom teeth. He does it so effortlessly. He is very professional and great at what he does. He may be a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for and I experienced very little pain and discomfort. I highly recommend him. His staff is also just as nice and professional.

I was there for wisdom teeth extraction. I had a fun time talking to the nurses while I was going under. They were all very nice and courteous including the Doctor of course would diff recommend to a friend or family member. Overall I knew I could trust the place and be taken care of properly.

I had a great experience with the practice! Stephanie did a great job of helping me feel comfortable and checking in to see if I was okay. Dr. Patel was also very friendly and my wisdom teeth removal went smoothly. I appreciate that the office gives cost estimates before the appointment. Very friendly and helpful staff! Very handsome doctor! This was only my second time ever being under anesthesia (too young to remember the first) and I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time.

I decided to go to this office to have an operation to remove my wisdom teeth. When I arrived for the consultation, everyone was friendly, and Dr. Patel was very thorough and descriptive on how the operation would go. The operation itself was also done very professionally, and I had minimal pain afterwards, allowing me to recover quickly.The reason why I am only providing two stars instead of 5 is for the lack of communication the office had with me regarding payment. Before I had the operation, I was told that my primary insurance would pay for a portion of the operation cost and that my secondary insurance would pay for the rest. However, because the consultant told me they could only process the payment with one insurance provider at a time, I was told that I would have to pay out of pocket ($400) on the day of the operation and that I would be reimbursed for that payment once the office made a claim with the secondary insurance.It has been nearly FIVE months now, and I have yet to receive my reimbursement for the portion I paid on the day of the operation!!! I have been calling the office during these five months, and they have simply told me I would have to wait a couple weeks for reprocessing of the insurance before I can receive my $400 refund. I recently called them again, and now they are telling me that both my insurances did not cover the entire cost of the operation and that I would not be receiving a refund! I am very frustrated with this office, and I warn any future patients to think carefully before going here to avoid the same headache!UPDATE (5/5/2017):I visited the office today, 5/5/17, with the purpose of clarifying and explaining the issues between the insurance and dental office after calling a week earlier. I was told though that only the person from the billing department can work this out with me, and that she was not working today.Last week, I was told that I only had an $8 refund in my account. However, I visited the office today, 5/5/17, and was informed that I had no refund. This is now a total of THREE conflicting stories that I have been told by the office. I look forward to meeting with the person from the billing department in order to finally get this cleared out.

Came to Dr. Patel for my wisdom teeth removal. I was on break from college and was a little nervous but his staff was fantastic! I had no unanswered questions and we were able to schedule my appointment and extraction in a timely matter. Surprisingly, I felt no pain the days after my surgery. Im not sure what thats due to but Id credit Dr. Patel. Great place and good energy. Hes also exceptionally good looking.. which is an added plus.

Dr. Snehal Patel is an excellent surgeon. He operated on my 8 year old and the surgery was successful, painless and without complications. Our family had a great experience in the facility. The outpatient procedure was completed in no time and the facility was very efficient. Dr. Patel is a highly trained surgeon and being a physician myself, referring my daughter to him speaks for itself. I value his opinions and expertise!

My surgery went so smoothly. I got four wisdom teeth out. My surgery was super quick and painless. I have no swelling the next and Im feeling minimal pain. So happy with the doctor and nurses who assisted.

We went to see Dr. Patel for my sons wisdom teeth extraction and a frenectomy. Dr. Patel provided excellent services and all the procedures went so smoothly that my son started feeling better the next day and was able to start his football practice after 3 days. Dr. Patel and his staff were very professional and took care of all of my sons needs. They were extremely attentive and ensured that both my son and I fully understood the procedures and answered any questions we had. I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to everyone!

I was very nervous at first. Not so nervous after being there. Everyone is very professional. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. They had my done in 40 minutes. I was knocked out didnt feel anything or know what was going on. Its been a full day now and I still have ZERO PAIN. they do give you prescriptions in case you do have pain and for infection if you get it. I highly recommend DR. Patel and his team

I needed a CT Neck with Contrast ordered and they ordered the wrong test due to dr Snehal Patel writing it wrong on the order. My insurance company wanted to speak to dr. Patel and he refused. All they wanted was more detail because the order did not make sense with my symptoms. He would not take the time and blamed the radiologist. He said it wasn’t his responsibility. That the radiologist would have to clear that up on their own. I gave one final call and in a very rude tone said he had a conference call with my insurance company later on that day which was a lie. It NEVER happened. Since then I saw a different dr. and that dr along with other radiology centers couldn’t believe he would not clear this up. I was on my own and had to start over with another dr. I was in so much pain and was so frustrated I ended up paying out of pocket for the test.I do not recommend dr. Snehal Patel. He is too arrogant for the medical field. A simple phone call is beneath him. We all know how long the process can be with getting appointments when you need a specialist. Maybe the writing was on the wall since I did not have to wait at Patels office. I got in the following day and thought I got lucky, boy was I wrong. Goodluck!

I recently had my wisdom teeth removed here. I was nervous going in, but Dr. Patel and his staff were very sweet, thoroughly answered any questions I had, and made me feel confident and at ease. The procedure went very well, and after following their instructions, I have been healing nicely without any problems. About 2 days after the procedure, I got food stuck in the extraction holes. I called the office, worried that I might hurt something if I tried too hard to get it out. They allowed me to come back in, flushed the food out for me, sensing my apprehension, and then showed me how to do it myself. Im so pleased with this office, and would definitely recommend them!

The staff was great I had a really bad experience and still going through it right now when I had my wisdom teeth pulled. Still in a lot of pain far as recommending or referring someone to this particular dentist not sure the jury is still out

The people who removed my wisdom teeth were very nice and caring, and the procedure went by very quickly with no pain during due to general anesthetics. Afterwards, they supplied me with several types of medication to aid the recovery and plenty of gauze to staunch the bleeding. Overall, I was very satisfied.

Hands down the best oral surgeon there is . I am very nervous about getting ANY dental work done but he made me feel at ease. From the front staff as well as back staff they are all very helpful and always greet you with a smile . Doctor Patel explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions I had . His office offers a variety of things from laughing gas to general anesthesia . So if youre indecisive about getting treatment done because youre afraid it will hurt rest assured that doctor Patel and his staff will take great care of you . So happy I came here and will recommend this office to everyone !! By the way not only is he an oral surgeon he also has a medical background, best hands you can be in! Dr. Patel and his entire staff were amazing!!!! I have been dodging this surgical procedure for a very long time.....even considered cancelling the day of, but Im glad I didnt. Stephanie was great! I requested a little Michael Bublé to help calm my nerves and she had the station playing for me (keep an eye out for her....she will be on The Voice soon). Dr. Patel is very kind, professional and gentle with the patients best interest in mind. I appreciate the entire team. If I grew more wisdom teeth Id be going back every time. A molar (#31) needed to be extracted due to its beat-up, cracked condition. My dentist referred me to Dr. Patel. Dr. Patel took it out and, due to his preparations, I felt almost no pain. (To be clear, the only pain I felt was with the injections but even that was tolerable thanks to numbing.) We in this area are blessed to have such a skilled, caring oral surgeon in our neighborhood. I would recommend him without hesitation.

As a parent I was a little nervous about my daughter getting some teeth out. The day of the staff was great, the procedure went smoothly, and they called later in the day to check on her. I would definitely recommend them.

Before getting my wisdom teeth removed, and I heard plenty of horror stories about how I would be out of commission and in pain for at least a week after getting it done. Today is the day after my surgery and Im almost back to 100%. My visit with Dr. Patel was not only painless, but his staff got me in right away and the whole thing was done much quicker than I expected. After comparing with friends experiences, its pretty clear that the doctor you choose seems to make a BIG difference in your recovery time. If you want to minimize your down time after oral surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Patel and Springfield Oral Surgery.

This was my first tooth extraction, and they made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. Im a bit of a wuss when it comes to any type of pain, and I was able to get through the entire procedure without any laughing gas. Needless to say I cried the entire time out of pure nervousness, but it was over so fast! I couldnt be more satisfied with the service. Also, they squeezed me in to their schedule because I needed emergency work, and I only waited 1 hour. Thank you Dr. Patel and team!

I have only wonderful things to say about this practice, from beginning to end, Dr. Patel and his staff are true professionals very passionate super friendly and they do exactly what they promise you, I had fobia from dental work, but I assure you, you won’t feel a thing, my wife had a sinus lift and 2 extractions bone grafting etc..she did not feel anything after the procedure she took antibiotics and her meds she was fine in 2 days, I had an implant placed and the whole procedure was pain free and best of all I am super happy with the results, Thank you Dr. Patel and all your wonderful staff for the outstanding exprerience! I highly recommend this practice!

I had a wisdom tooth extraction x 4. I was very nervous and the staff were very accomidating and comforting. They even played music to calm me. I am at home recovering, but so far Im doing well.
