Everyone here is so nice and efficient! They always provide tips on how to keep my teeth clean and are very helpful through the whole process (scheduling, insurance coverage, COVID guidance, etc). I most definitely recommend them!
I would not recommend Aspen Dental. The current lawsuits are not exaggerations -- they have some credibility. They have a tendency to overcharge, make billing mistakes, and suggest extra or unnecessary procedures instead of listening to the objectives of the patient. Please keep shopping around.

The dentist and dental hygienist are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, kind, and have great skills. The business office is a mess. I never know what my bill will be when I walk in. My last visit they attempted to charge me for services I havent even had yet. They have no idea what my insurance covers and whats my portion. My appointment was for 2 and 3 they tried to say I made my appointments 2 and 330, instead of just saying the hygienist was running behind. Having said that, my teeth look great and I love the clinical dental team and would not change them for the world!!
Aspen Dental isnt what I expected. I waited an hour for the dentist to see me. I now understand why they have mini TV as its truly needed if youre going to have a long wait. They said they would call me to discuss my options for dental work that was completely out of my budget. Never got the call. I think I will be visiting another company as Aspen Dental is not for me. I dont think I would recommend to any of my friends or family.
Dr. Orinda walked out of the room when my wife as was questions about the procedure that she wanted to do. The staff and dentist are very unprofessional. I used to bring my whole family there, but that place has gone down hill. They wanted to give my 7 year old a root canal!!! Of course I left and got a second opinion, in which case she did not need. Other dentist was in shock that they wanted to do that to her. All they want to do is charge you and your insurance company, AT ANY COST. Not with my family, I have left and never been happier. Please do not respond with your automated response.

Very nice the only thing was they canceled my appointment hour before I was driving to the Enfield Location went to Springfield Mass and they couldn’t give me a reason for cancellation had to pay out pocket because I was out of state hopefully my insurance can help me.

Unfortunately for my family first time customers they give our appointment away to another person after we were seating down for about 10 minutes in the waiting room. After we put our Saturday afternoon on hold for this. When they talk to my wife the lady explained to her that we need it to confirm the appointment. My wife explained to the receptionist that they didn’t clarify when we did the appointment, is being new customers that don’t know the process with them. Thank God that we did have the voicemail from them that proved her that they lady that call never mention that we need call to confirm. We being with the same dentist for about 9 years and we never had to confirm. Unfortunately that receptionist didn’t care about their own mistake and her response was. “Usually” she’s pretty good with that. But it looks like she wasn’t in our particular situation. I know aspen it’s a huge corporate institution and they have a bunch of customers, me and my family being one or not doesn’t affect them economically but it’s about to being profesional and follow that correct prices listening, apologize for the mistake and solve. But the attitude of their employees towards us as a customers was like we felt that was like “well there’s other dentist around” when there was for sure an error on their part.
The only reason Im giving this site 3 stars is because the dental hygienist (Eugene) and the dental assistant ( girl with curly hair) who did my x-rays, and the rest of the staff were immaculate; the doctor, not so much. I literally wanted to make this my permanent stop for cosmetic teeth whitening, routine cleanings and examinations. Of it were for then Id have given this site 5 stars for todays experience; however I did not like the way I was treated by the dentist. I felt more like an number than a valuable client/customer. Instead of making me feel like he was working with me, I felt like he was frustrated with my questions and just wanted me out of his chair. I left with mixed feelings, if by my next visit his attitude does not change I will be moving elsewhere for dental work. The only reason Im going back there is because the hygienist and the dental assistant were immaculate and made me feel like I was a valued client.
My experience was just wonderful I was unable to get out of work early by the time I got there it was 15 minutes before they were closing I thought I didnt make it here it is Friday I am in excruciating pain how am I going to get through the weekend in such pain on top of that I did not even have an appointment so I thought for sure there is no way they are going to see me boy was I wrong not only did they see me they were just the nicest people I kept apologizing for getting there so Close to closing time she smiled and said dont worry about it The most important thing right now is clearing up the infection you have as soon as possible so you are no longer in pain they took their time explained all my options and did not rush through anything as I was walking to my car I stopped smiled and thought wow all my stress and anxiety are goneI would like to thank everyone over at Aspen Dental for a truly a wonderful experience - Lisa
Do not under any circumstances see Dr. Orinda. She will do whatever she wants with your mouth. She goes against the direct wishes of her clients. Drilled into healthy teeth after I refused to receive a service she suggested. Should not be a dentist. Do not let her ruin your mouth.
I had to have 2 extractions a week apart. One tooth took longer to heal. I was grateful for Dr. Lee, he was very professional and as One extraction took longer to heal the Boston Rd. Team were concerned about my well being. My walk in experience was great too. Not a long wait at all.
My experience was negative after evaluating Dr. Lee and giving me an appointment to become a root canal that I had paid earlier the day I was quoted and I did not do it because I was with another dentist who wanted to drain my tooth and not the same day, make another appointment to do it. after having 20 minutes sitting, to see the tooth and then charge me $ 105. just look. what did I do? Go and do not go back to the dental aspen of the Boston Road can not be that a dentist makes you an evaluation and the other according to specialist do another and over copper for doing nothing. the most imputing work in the same place and do not communicate you make. a first evaluation your trusting in what Dr. Lee said to you and that they play to take the time and money to the people and to the insurer that with sacrifice we pay. and in that way ... the most annoying is the answer when we told her that Dr. Lee had evaluated me and we were a root canal and she answered that he was a dentist and I is the specialist. chair annoying and leaves. I leave with more question than answer here where we see what is more business than professionals ....
A joke
My first time they cancelled my appointment without notifying me. To make it worse, they told me that my appointment was cancelled after me being sitting in the waiting area for 15 minutes. I show them the voice mail that never said that I had to confirm and that was a reminder call, however, they did not apologized.

If I could leave a NEGATIVE STAR review I completely would. Never in my life have I received such poor service without even having my appointment. I had an appt. scheduled for 5:15pm, which I confirmed via email a week ahead and received a confirmation text the morning of the appt. All of these documents I received stated that my appt was at 5:15pm. I hit traffic on the way into my appt. and call the office to let them know I will be there a little closer to 5:15pm, just to make sure that was okay. Julie from the office tells me that it is a problem because my appt. was at 5:00pm....... I let her know about the text message and email that I received confirming my appt. THAT MORNING and she told me that I needed to reschedule....... She was nice enough to talk to her manager to see what could be done, but then came back to say that there was no way they could fit me into MY SCHEDULED APPT. Julie also tried to use the excuse that I would need to take the time to fill out my paperwork, but I informed her that I had filled it out PRIOR to my appt. and I was ready to go. After another brief discussion with her manager, Julie, informed me there was nothing that could be done. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE. I WILL NOT BE SCHEDULING!!! How could I? They said I had to reschedule my confirmed appt. right before my appt. started.......TRASH!
Aspen Dental is a great office. The staff is very welcoming and above all professional. The wait time is short compared to other dentist offices. Dr. Vithlani does a great job of explaining the dental work needed. The personalities of the Dental assistant Crystal and the Hygienist Lorraine make the uneasiness of a dental procedure relaxing and borderline fun. One conversation with them, and a root canal wont seem all that bad! I recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist in the Western Mass area.
Called and made an appointment. Took day off from work to keep the appointment just to go in and be told that they dont accept my insurance, after being told which insurance i had when making the appointment.
I am new to aspen. very satisfied with my upper dentures, but not with the cleaning price. My previous dentist was $75.00 for both uppers and lowers.Now Aspen is 110.00 for just the lowers. More than twice the price for 1/2 the service

My experience was very good at Aspen Dental in Springfield MA, Dr. Vithiam is very nice and was patient with me and made experience of full mouth extraction as painless as possible. The rest of the staff were very nice also: Katrina, Lori - hygienist. Crystal - dental assistant, Sara - receptionist and Autumn the office manager were all very professional and nice and helped with finance, booking appointments, etc my dentures look beautiful and look natural, and fit well while my gums heal. Im pleased with these temporary dentures I can just imagine what the permanent ones in 6 months will be like! I have also recommended Aspen Dental to a friend who is very uncomfortable and dis-satisfied with her dentures. My friend was also unhappy with the dentist she has so I gave her all the info about Aspen Dental in Springfield MA and hopes she makes an appointment with them soon!

Dr. Lee is a wonderful dentist! Its a shame that my husband and I had to leave this office in Springfield on Boston rd because the staff kept on messing up our appointment times. It was extremely inconvenient. Multiple times we would come for our appointment and got sent home because they cancelled our appointment without notifying us. I even showed them my confirmation text messages that I received the day before, and they still sent me home without an apology. Very disrespectful. I would give Dr. Lee five stars, but the staff only 2.
Worst experience Ive ever had at a dentist!! I walked into this place looking to get a cleaning that my insurance provides every year and because they had 5 stars on Google I thought Id try them out. And on top of that tell me that they wont give me my regular yearly cleaning because I need to pay for deep cleaning cause my mouth is bad and it would be malpractice on them. I was convinced and paid for it then told I had 2 cavities in the back. I decided to get a second opinion And found out that everything I was told was false including the cavities, smh terrible
The worst dental place ever
If I could give a higher rating I could. (Boston Road Springfield,MA).I have had awful experiences with dentists as a child. My childhood dentist would give a shot if novicane then start drilling right away without giving time for novicane to work. If you cried (as any child would), he would put a rubber bowl over your nose and mouth until you promised to stop, well, you can’t breath so you would nod yes. He would also slap you. This was back in the early 60’s and it scared me for life.In my teen years, I had a wisdom tooth pulled and part of my sinus wall came out. After that, I would have to take Valium just to get my teeth cleaned. Then there was a root canal gone bad.Dr. Lee and his staff were so understanding and compassionate. I’m in my late 50’s and the hygienist held my hand through the whole procedure, I couldn’t stop shaking. Felt like an idiot but I just couldn’t help it. I misplaced the paper with everyone’s name in it, but my appointment was on 3/13/19. If you could please reach out to them and let them know how greatful I am for everything they have done I would greatly appreciate it.
I did made an appointment, it was all for free even i had my insurance visit the one point of the Aspen Dental and the staff was excellent they were very kind while when after the doctor came and did nothing for me, it seems was not able for my treatment !Really im sorry about that since in my country were i m coming the doctor do the impossible to help the Patient !

My teeth are in absolute horrible condition problem WAS past dentist that left me in pain and feeling full of anxiety with no compassion or patience The staff at Aspen Dental Boston road Springfield are above and beyond Im EXTREMLY thankful for the help and support. Im impressed and tremendously thankful for Dr Lee who talked me threw my procedure and I had no pain and my anxiety I had is now gone. I have made a commitment to fix my teeth to healthy and keep going back till everything is complete. I would not have done this if this group of people hadnt had the compassion to aid me threw. Id also like to say what brought me in was a loss of my front tooth which in a short time I had a partial made and was back to smiling even bigger now. Im sorry not to have remembered the young lady who took my impressions she guided me threw everything and explained things fully and informed me of what she was doing and the next steps she gave me peace and assurance. Im glad she was there that day to help me .At my first visit exam the paper work was the most important and that day was also a blessing I was so overwhelmed with how much work I needed and burdened with the thought of paying, the office staff were so understanding and helpful to run things threw a few diffrent days for me they took the time to get a plan that was PERFECT for me that day started it all ..I would recommend this office highly. The denistry is easier and better. Dont change the Dynamics of this staff. Thank you all so much.
I recently had major dental work with Aspen Dental. I do believe they are pricey, however the service was excellent. My new teeth are beautiful.

Super accomodating. Friendly and compassionate. I came in w an abscess tooth and they gave me quick attentive service despite no appointment and it was a friday. No dentist ever has been this accomodating in my entire life experience with emergency needs for tooth care. I highly recommend the Boston Rd. Springfield MA clinic. Clean, polite, non judgemental, friendly and understanding. Emergency tooth pain is no joke and it was such a relief to get such positive response from this team of personel. Thank you all.

I hate denists! There, I said it. I had not seen one in f o r e v e r. I now have other medical issues where keeping my mouth in check is a necessity.So, I ended up with an abcessed tooth. I went in and told them my whole sad story. They were great, they told me that it didnt matter what happened before, I was there now and that is all that counts.I had 2 teeth pulled that day..no pain! Dr. Lee kept asking if I was ok and it was over in no time! Ill be back!!!
