Hands down the best Dental Group! Currently going through the implant process, just had the implant placed last week ~ AMAZED no issues, no pain! From the time you walk in that door, staff is so welcoming, these ladies are awesome from office manager to the dentists ....EVERYONE staffed is top notch! Love this group and my new smile!!

Dr. DeSanto and staff are amazing! All super friendly. Every other dentist I went to had beat around the bush on fixing my gap. She gave me a great step by step plan and executed it perfectly. I now get compliments on my teeth somewhat regularly. Thank you all!

--Hopefully this will encourage someone in my same/similar situation.--Ive had some really unpleasant experiences with dentist, as a result I have a huge amount of anxiety when it comes to dental work. Many dentist Ive seen have communicated poorly, not seemed motivated for the patient, and brush over when Ive brought up my challenges with anxiety and sensory overload with dental work.I was referred to Dr. DeSanto Prairie Dental Group by a close family member. My experience from stepping in the door to the evaluation was great, the staff had a personality and I felt welcomed. Dr. DeSanto did the evaluation and then did something Ive not had a dentist do to any extent, she laid out a dental plan. It was a this is where we are at this is what we need to do to get your mouth healthy and this is what we will do to get your smile back. Dr. DeSanto loves what she does and it shows in her work with patients.I have had seven appointments so far and my anxiety is better and better after each one. Im to the point where I am looking forward to my next appointment. Out of those Ive had three with Dr. Ozyurt and she has been excellent. The three Dr. Ozyurt has had with me are what I view as three of the most difficult. Two appointment for extractions, quick and painless with an incredible amount of care for me as a patient. The Third and most recent was a four hour marathon. The entire time she made sure I was comfortable and was very detail oriented. Dr. Ozyurt frequently communicated to make sure I wasnt in any pain and to check if I needed a break. The four hours of work was a lot and Im sure it was exhausting for Dr. Ozyurt as well, but she never rushed. After the work was done we had some choices to make on shades moving forward. Dr. Ozyurt took the time to get a second opinion to make sure I would be happy with the choice.I never imagined I would look forward to a visit with the dentist but here we are. All it took was a world class dental practice to change my perspective!

Had awful experiences at other places but this place is absolutely amazing. The staff was great and so accommodating. I will definitely be going back and recommending to friends and family!

I was extremely impressed with everyone at the office. Julie is an amazing dentist! I felt 100% comfortable the whole time and she performed the work flawlessly. The office staff and manager were also very friendly, efficient, and courteous. Definitely a 5 star visit.

I have been coming here since I was a little kid and they have always been so nice. It’s a great place to come everyone is very nice and I highly recommend it. Going to the dentist is not fun and I’ve had my fair share of appointments here and they always make you feel very comfortable and relaxed when you come.

Every person that works in this office made make my dental experience the best it possibly can. The hygienists dont just clean your teeth, they care about you and ask questions about your life and somehow get some dental preaching worked into the conversation! The dentists come in and let you know what needs to be done and why and also genuinely want to hear about how youve been! THEN you go to the front desk. They are very helpful with my insurance questions and prepare me for the co-payment that will be required at my next visit. So helpful. The facility has been completely renovated and everything is modern. I will be getting my first same day crown soon, and am happy not to have to wear a temporary again!Great job Prairie Dental Group!

I first heard about Prairie Dental on the radio one Saturday morning and couldnt believe how excited they were about being dentists! They actually enjoyed what they were doing and were thrilled about being able to make people smile again! Their enthusiasm was so infectious that I suggested to my husband that we should try them out. We made appointments, and had the best experience of our lives! Since starting at Dr. DeSantos dental practice over 14 years ago, I have had my porcelain crowns and veneers completed by her and they look FABULOUS! I love them! She listened to my every need. During my routine cleanings my digital x-rays keep her informed on anything going on with my crowns and natural teeth. I have also received cosmetic bonding and zoom whitening done. Results are spectacular. Eventually, I may need a dental implant and over implant crown and I know that she will be the dentist that I will feel most comfortable with. I have also used the invisible star trays to help align my teeth before having my crowns done. For the Springfield Illinois area she and her partners, are the ones to come to! I have had the pleasure of meeting all of the dentists there and they all care. I have referred friends from as far as the Chicago land area to her as well!

As a mother of 3 small children I was not welcomed here. Starting with telling me my children (all under 5) could not come back with me.The dentist was kind and professional but the staff was anything but. Condescending (I was told I would have to have my work done in stages because my insurance wouldnt cover it and I wouldnt be able to pay for that as it is very expensive) and rude towards myself and my children.I do not let my children run amuck. They are Taught and expected to use their manners and to act appropriately in public. They are however, 5, 2 and under 1. There were not fits thrown, they were contained in a stroller so as not to hinder anyone else. They were not causing a problem. However, they and I were treated as such.When my estimate arrived in the mail, there was a handwritten note that stated I was not allowed to bring my children with me.Not everyone has the option of leaving their kids with a sitter. Not everyone has family and friends to help out. But everyone does still need to be able to seek care for their health.If you dont have kids and like to flash your money around, this may be the place for you. If you have children, and prefer and atmosphere accommodating to families, look elsewhere.

The Dr.s are great. They have always got me in when needed. They work around schedules and are always very friendly and nice!!

I have been coming here for the last year after hunting down Dr. DeSanto. She had done my first set of veneers 16 years ago and I wanted them replaced. I did not realize she was still in Springfield and was very excited to find her again. She had done an amazing job the first time and my second set was even more incredible! The friendly staff is icing on the cake. They are great!

5 star service for sure. The people are so kind and helpful. If you have insurance there is no better place. However I found it very pricey without insurance. I had a filling fall out between two teeth. There had been a cavity/filling on the inside of both teeth. Doubtful they both fell out but I went in thinking it would cost 250ish to refill the hole. I even paid for their yearly plan to make it less expensive and my bill was still a little over $600. I was a bit shocked. Just make sure you know what you are about to spend.

Ive been a patient since 2000. I started with Dr. Brandis, who sadly passed, but knew I would continue to come to this office because of the amazing care I always have received. Ive had emergencies and normal general check up and exams. Every dentist, hygienists and front desk person have always treated me with total respect and care.HIGHLY recommend this office.... any one of them!

I just left the dentist office, I tried to hold it together in front of everyone. My family loves Prairie Dental! I have children ages 4, 9, 12, and 14. My husband and I also go there. Each of the children have had wonderful and thorough cleaning appointments. Very family friendly! Sealants for molars on all of the children done quickly and effectively. I personally am in the middle of the Six Month Smiles orthodontic treatment- which consists of clear braces that are straightening my very crowded teeth. I am very happy with the results so far. I plan to have the Zoom! whitening treatment in the office when my braces come off. I have seen the results and cant wait! It is cool that they offer cosmetic dentistry and are dedicated to giving people their best smiles. My husband has orthodontia as well, and the hygienist did a very thorough job of cleaning around his braces.The prices are affordable, and they handle all submissions to our dental insurance. The office is very clean and all of the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had any trouble getting in for timely appointments for myself and my family. The wonderful girls at the front are very helpful and flexible with the scheduling. All of the hygienists and techs are kind, gentle, and patient with the children.Love Dr, Tanya and Dr. Liz!

My son was very nervous to see the dentist for the very first time. When we arrived the front desk ladies were so nice to us and made my son feel so special about being there no how awesome it was to see the dentist for the very first time. He LOVED it. The hygienist was so patient with him he was comfortable enough to allow her to take X-rays even. Then Dr. Angel Shah came in and was so loving. She explained to him everything in kids terms and he even wanted to give her a hug afterwards. I can not say enough about this office. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Dr. Julie Nathanson is my primary dentist. I cant recommend her highly enough. I had needed dental work for quite some time before I was able to afford it. A dentist at a different office recommended that I have three different teeth pulled, but I really didnt want to lose them since I was only 23. I got a second opinion from Dr. Nathanson and Im so glad I did. She put me on a treatment plan that saved my original teeth and cost less than replacing them with implants. Shes also a very talented cosmetic dentist. Every visit is more comfortable and pain-free than the drive to her office! She and her assistant Angie are very sweet, fun, and interesting to listen to. I plan to keep coming to Dr. Nathanson for my dental care as long as Im within a half-days drive of her office.
