From the moment I walked in I was made to feel comfortable, the entire staff was courteous so I was able to relax!

My appointment was for 4pm. I arrived at 3:50pm. During this wait another patient arrived and was quickly called in for her services. I asked the receptionist what was the hold up and she said a few more minutes. Another patient came in to register and was quickly called in also. I noticed the receptionist chatting away for over 20 minutes and still did not even look my way. It was then after nearly almost an hour wait in the waiting room that I brought my frustration to the receptionist. She said the other patients were with a different provider Well my appointment with my provider was for 4pm so what was the hold up.I should of been approached after 10-15 minutes of waiting and been notified that the provider was running behind so that I could of been given the choice to wait or reschedule. But they did not because they were really engaged in a conversation which was loud and laughing at God knows what. Now an hour later I decided to reschedule but at another location. This is not my first rodeo with this office. I pulled both my kids out of this location and look forward to business with Chicopee Baystate Dental. This office gives the entire Baystate Dental a bad name!!!

I have been seeing Doctor Prinzwell for over 10 years now. He is amazing. Very patient for those with anxiety. Great office, good parking for in the city as well!

This was my first time at this dentist. The office staff, dental hygenist and the doctor were very warm, comforting and professional! I would very highly recommend this office to everyone.

I have a 4 o’clock appointment with Baystate and Westspringfield office. I waited for a half an hour in the waiting room and then another half an hour in the dentist chair. I was uncomfortable with the receptionist because he was examining my teeth and had no gloves on until I suggested that he put some on. Also he did not wear any scrubs he was in his personal clothes. After waiting an hour another person into the office and I told her I was waiting an hour and she said OK wait a moment I’ll let someone know mean while I sat for another 10 minutes. Frustrated, nobody even approach me I finally got up out of the chair and said I would reschedule and receptions just looked at me . He said OK and I walked out. This seems to be a continuing issue with Baystate Dental and gives all of Baystate Dental a bad name. Note the reception and made it clear that he was a multitasker did not clarify or answer whether or not he was a dental assistance I just the receptionist. This person continue to examine my mouth which made me very uncomfortable not knowing his position.

Had my first appointment with this office (Harrison) and loved the service! They took me right in, and my hygienist gave me the best cleaning Ive ever had. Im not a huge fan of the dentist and have had some bad experiences, but this place made me feel so comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Dr. Princewell and the rest of the staff here are amazing. I will never see another dentist. Hands down-THE Best.

Today was the best day of my life! Thanks to Baystate Harrison dental, located on Harrison Avenue in Springfield Massachusetts, I receive the most exceptional service is that I have ever receive them my life. Before today I did not want to smile, open my mouth and I could not even sing. I was very in Barris of how my mouth look and fell. Thanks to the professionalism and superior customer service from the front desk, EuniceOffered me exceptional service. She was nice, friendly and very knowledgeable of all dental practices and procedures. Upon arriving in getting ready for my tooth exam, Dr. Zhan showed me how to relax and she guided me through the entire root canal process with no problem. She was very clean, professional and very knowledgeable of her job. I never felt so comfortable in my life going to the dentist. I thought I would have a lot of pain after the root canal! Greatly, I can truly say and attest to me not having any pain after my procedure was done. With the combination of superior customer service and excellent dentistry work, I can say without a shadow of doubt that baystate Harrison dental is by far one of the most heavenly and pleasant places to be. I was nervous, stressed and I had major anxiety before going to this appointment. Due to the nature of my problem, the front desk and Dr. Zhan showed ultimate care honesty and respect for me as a patient. I would rate this place 10 stars out of five if I could. I really never thought a place like this could do such a marvelous job! Baystate dental on Harrison is doing a marvelous job! I would refer everyone to this dentist. Please know that my life has changed because of the concern of my health. This is by far the bestDental in the world.

I and my children go there I am glad I made the switch. I dont worry about feeling nervous to see the dentist anymore. They take good care they make sure your comfortable and pain free.

The office is always very clean and the hygienists are very friendly and professional. I can only speak for my doctor, but she is excellent and very willing to seek insurance-covered options.

I am so upset with this office. I called in to setup an appointment for my 5YO daughter. I did ask if they were taking kids, which they responded yes. Then once there, they see that my daughter has a cavity and the doctor says I have to go to a Pediatric Dentist because he does not have appropriate appliances for kids! At that point I was okay until I called 4 dentists around to be told that They will need to do another exam and that will cost me. My insurance already paid for the visit at Baystate Dental of Harrison... The insurance will not pay for another exam

This is my first time there. Lovely office it even smelled nice and clean. I was impress with the modern equipment. Especially the young lady that took my x-rays she was great!!! This place is awesome! Ive never been to a dentist who is so attentive and caring. The staff is great, cheerful and kind. They even provide sun glass when you lay in the chair so the light would not bother your eyes. Never have I had that service provided to me at my former dentists. They have state of the art equipment, which is great! Overall, they do great work and the area is bright and clean.

Hands down the worst dentist I’ve ever seen. Went in for a crowning, had to switch to that office because of my insurance, which twice I was told was inactive (not true) In my lifetime I’ve had 2 root canals and a tooth pulled and I have never experienced so much pain from novocaine shots like the way I did from this doctor! I had to stop in between shots to pull myself together. Never going there again! Wish I can go back to main st Baystate :(

Went into the office and receptionist ignored us for a few minutes. I sat down for a few minutes went back to reception area and she continued doing what she was doing. My daughter had to knock on glass window for her to acknowledge us. While my daughter was getting X-rays I went up to her to make to make an appointment and she was texting for a while. I did not want to be rude and waited for 1 minute. I was right in front of her in front of the glass window and she did not address me until I said excuse me I have a question. Reception service has changed to the negative. They need to treat clients the way they want to be treated.

Im in Springfield on business and had an emergency which required immediate dental attention; long story short -- the front desk managers are wizards with scheduling and got me in immediately. I really dont know how else to say it but the Baystate Dental team is phenomenal. Dr. Park was extremely kind, poise, professional and very knowledgeable. She put me at ease within 15 seconds of meeting her. (really took the time to answer all 156 of my questions). Its very rare to find a practice where everyone actually cares about you. I wish I could transport this practice to New York City (where I am from!). Thank you so much to the entire team for taking care of me!

I tried to call today for an initial appointment and, I dont know if it was the receptionist but they were extremely rude and condescending. Very unprofessional I dont think this speaks on the overall care. Unfortunately they will not be having my business due to that one experience. I first called in the morning and asked if they could schedule me without my insurance card and they said no, the first person seemed more pleasant. I later called and was immediately told that I would have to call back. I told the individual that I would continue looking for an appointment but that she could take my info. She then repeated I said we will call you back to schedule. I was taken aback at first but continued to give my information. She asked what type of insurance I told her Delta Dental - What kind? was her response blankly. I looked at my card re-read the top of it and it clearly stated Delta Dental with no additional words or identifying marks. I asked What do you mean - Theirs a lot of Delta Dental what kind?--I realized that this was a fight that I was doomed to loose from the beginning uncompromising and unforgiving. I replied Im not going to be needing the appointment and hung up the phone.

I went to this dentist when Baystate Dental on Main street could not get me in and it was an urgent appointment. The dentist was decent, I had a tooth removed (which was originally going to be a root canal, but he recommended I just remove it and my molar will take its place) and he wrote a prophylactic script of antibiotics, I am a healthy woman and I said that wont be necessary, and he agreed and said if I need it just to call. Anyway, the reason for the bad review is because of the secretary. She literally spent 5 minutes telling me how important antibiotics are went on and on. She had a attitude. She clearly had a very poor education, and it upset me. Shes basically told me Im going to get really sick if I dont take them. Well, I never took them and Im fine. Of course, if I was immunocompromised I would have taken them- but I wasnt. I dont think a secretary should be giving out medical advice, especially since she has no idea what shes even talking about. I kept my cool but I was close to going off about antibiotic resistance LOL. They should probably have an in-service saying degenerates with a high school diploma shouldnt be giving medical advice. Its also a liability. *sigh*

I was nervous switching from one location to another AND because my all time favorite dentist retired this year but they were able to set me up with someone just as wonderful. So happy I stayed with Baystate Dental. Wouldnt leave them

I never have to wait long to be called in, I receive constant reminders of appointments, and am recognized immediately when I walk into the office. The other benefit is that they are very clean. I really enjoy my experience here...and I hate going to the dentist.

No stars. I had an appointment and was told my insurance was not working but that was a lie. This place is no good. I went there with my brother and they would not help him because he had behealthy insurance. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went with my boyfriend to get his wisdoms out and Ill never ever reccomend these people to ANYONE. No after care instructions, no medication instructions, they refuse to talk to me on the phone when I call to clarify some things that they never went over. They are the most unprofessional people i have ever met.

They charged me $90 for a no-x-ray cursory glance (10 minutes, max) and a quote of $3000 for one root canal and crown and $3k-$5k for an implant. I got a quote in Boston, Harvard grad in private practice, for $3k an implant about 3 years ago. I guess Dental Schools now require some sort of business training, based on the assumption that all American dentists are guaranteed to be millionaires within 5 yrs so they can retire at 50 with millions more. The dentist here was completely poker-faced and unimpressed with my suggestion that 4 implants for $20,000 might be a teeny bit steep for the uninsured of Springfield. I got not even some BS sympathy. Just a look like I just stepped off a flying saucer. Good luck, kids. If the industry wants to fix prices in the US, well all be heading to Panama and Mexico soon. The trip will pay for itself.
