Honestly was skeptical about going here since advertising makes it seem like some kind of sports bar filled with hyper-masculinity, but it actually has a very chill atmosphere. Folding chairs when waiting are borderline humorous but not a big deal for me. They give discounts to repeat customers on the MVP package. The coolest thing, in my opinion, is that they put a note on how your hair was done last time so if you have another stylist, they can see it in their system and have an idea of what you might want. Super recommend.
Went to this location today and the woman, whose name is believed was Nikki, who cut my hair (not wearing her mask correctly) began to cough into her hand and wiped her nose with her bare hand and then stuck it on my head! I cancelled the remaining services I had there that day, paid, and immediately called the health department. I will never go to this location again!
The lady that cut my hair did a great job. I like the way she kinda floofs it as shes going along. A positive experience.
I went there as a first time customer today to be greeted by the most impersonal hair dresser (Brianna) I have ever met. There was not more than 10 words spoken during the entire cut which is fine if I’m a regular customer. But isn’t it in her best interest to engage the customer so they would want to come back? She did a descent job on the cut so for that I give her two stars but her personality was exuding a vibe basically saying “F OFF”! She didn’t even bother to dry my hair or double check if I wanted the MVP. She just wanted me out ASAP. In fact when I walked in I debated leaving because of the unfriendly welcome. Why would the owners want someone so cold and unfriendly working there?
I thought a guy smart would mean not having to play twenty questions about my haircut. I brought in a picture i wanted to try and achieve, but got the same questions you would get at any barber. I also had to slump so far down in the chair i was barely on it, which felt great on the herniated disc in my back.
Went in to get a haircut. Only one woman working. I ask if they are taking walk ins and she barked at me to sign in. I asked her how long the wait was and she just ignored me. Decided to leave instead of doing business here and will not be back.
My go-to spot for haircuts. I’m never disappointed
5 stars all day. Melissa gave me the best haircut of all time. She should be in the stylist hall of fame
Melissa is our Barber and she is extremely personable, and considerate to how I like my hair cut. She is very talented and I hivhig recommend her. Sports Clips in Springfield is awesome.
I take my son here for his haircuts for about 2 years now. He loves this sport clips. He recently started seeing Sedera and is always happy with the cut. But a couple visits ago I noticed spots (appears to be mold and worse since my last visit) on the ceiling tile while waiting for my son. I own my own health care business and this is a huge danger to customers and mostly employees. This place could be shut down easily with any type of black mold like that. Sport clips should really do something about this because its not safe. I will be taking my son to the hilltop store until it is fixed. I hope you all do fix this problem because my son really loves his stylist Sed.
Went to this place because our usual spot for the almost 2 year old closed with no warning. I had sticker shock when they told me how much. Way too expensive for me asking for a trim. Stylist cut more than I asked and didn’t cut where I asked. Cut looks good but won’t go back because of the price.
Hanna is amazing ! Shes super sweet and easy going and she took her time making sure my hair was perfect. Shes from South Korea and shell talk to you about anything. She gave me the MVP treatment for free on my first visit.
Great service! Melissa is the only one my son lets cut his hair. Highly recommend!
Swindled me into paying for the most expensive haircut without actually doing a shampoo or anything. The haircut itself was pretty bad as well.
Ask for HANNAH. That simple. You will be a client for life.
MVP was the best Ive had at 5 stores.
Ive got a love hate relationship with this brand, and this store in particular. I first started going to sport clips in college (class of 2014 in case you were wondering). They had good people and they kept a record of what you had done last time, great if you have a different stylist or you cant remember the right words.Well that system doesnt carry across franchises, why!? So when I switched to this store after I graduated they had no record of me being a frequent customer of the brand. And for the first two visits nobody took note of how I get my hair cut, they were also trainees. I understand the not as high confidence, that comes from experience but not being able to punch a few keys to enter a preference gets you a demerit. I think it took till my 3rd experience before I got a stylist that made me remember why I kept going in college. So here I am now trying to get my fifth haircut at this place. Its a quarter to four on a Monday (1/26/14) afternoon and the store is closed. I checked their hours on the window and on Google, theyre supposed to be open till 8 pm. There was no note on the door. There is some light snowfall today but its not even sticking to the grass and no schools have canceled today (which is a big achievement if youre familiar with the DC/MD/VA area).Im being awfully generous with 3 stars. Not being open when you say you are, and with no notice, is a fundamental business mistake. But since I drove 15 min to get a haircut maybe its time for me to try someplace else. Also as Ive been writing this review in the parking lot Ive observed at least eight individuals whove noticed the lights off and walked away. If any of you are reading this I encourage you to speak up.
Store stated and website closes at 7pm . I’m here and it’s 655pm they will not let me in ? The times online don’t match the store hours . False information
Hanna did my haircut. It was the best one Ive ever had. Very nice lady!
I just started going here. I really like that they save notes from previous haircuts to inform what you like. I also like they they wash your hair after the cut.
Hannah is awesome. She cuts my hair and talks with me. Everything I can ask for!
Very professional staff. Wait was minimum and stylists was attentive to my instructions.
Very slow and unbelievably bad haircut. Did not listen to any of details I had said. Very disappointed leaving there.
They always give me the fuccboi haircut I need.
Its a good spot to get a haircut as long as you know what style you want.
Very nice people. Great haircut.
This is definitely one of the best Sports Clips stores!
Know what youre getting into. They say theyll cut off 1 to 2 inches and it ends up being almost 4. I even showed a picture for reference and its not even close. Luckily hair grows back and we dont have any special occasions coming up.
5 stars. Hanna was an excellent hair stylist and very sweet. Thanks.
Feel so good when they wash my hair.
Sign says no wait, waited 25 minutes and the woman said she didnt know how to cut a mohawk. Too much extra stuff going on
First haircut was $20.00, second haircut was $28.00 without any notice. Not sure who set the prices! Will not go back!
Tight fades for days. love it
Solid job and a good price
My go to place for haircuts back home.
Fast friendly
Severely understaffed for Saturday morning. Having computer problems also. Stylist wanted to fix the computer while she was cutting my hair. The wait was going to be over an hour (minimum). No chance Im ever coming back to this location.
Too complicated to get signed in. I found it not worth the time. Found a local Barber that now knows me.
Horrible customer service. They dont know how to provide service to customer.
HORRIBLE customer service- rude and unprofessional. Will never go back.
Still waiting after 2 hrs. Unorganized and very unprofessional. Asked a customer to help operate the computer check in because they didnt know how to do it.
Great haircuts
Melissa rocks as a stylist.
