Called asking on prices for an alternator, the guy was extremely rude on the phone. He gave me the price and said I would have to remove the alternator myself(which is fine) but then when I said my husband worked until 3:30 he said well if you send somekne at ten till 4 im going to turn them away its gonna take them a while to get that off just very very rude.

Hes a pretty good guy hell work with you on a lot of stuff.

Its hit or miss with them you show up about midday they are great will help you out with whatever usually even measured my rims depth to see if it would fit my truck but Ive also been in the situation where they are ready to leave and are rude(honestly most people who are ready to go home at the end of the day are) Ill usually call ahead and make sure I show up around 2 to give them time to be ready they might not always have the parts you need but not all junkyards do

Called for parts that I quoted myself going to pull-a-part and buying other parts new online, my list came out to a little less than $100.00 dollars. I call and ask him for prices on the exact same parts and he picks up and hes rude as can be right out of the gates! Says $245.67 and hangs up immediately. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else with your business.

Called ahead to tell these jokers I would be there for a part. Guy reminded me they close at 4 pm. Drove all the way from Kettering. I got there at 3:40, guy says Im too late, dogs are out and yard is closed. I told him I was the guy that called, why didnt he tell me then I wouldnt be able to get my part. He says its too bad, I can leave a deposit. No way would I leave money. I tell them both I need less than 15 minutes to get the part. Younger of 2 gets smart 15 minutes huh? Old guy says too bad. I told them both they lost a quick $75 sale. Ill never go back, and Ill tell every one I know how this went. Dont waste your time.

If I could give a zero, I would. I just called to see if they had a rim. The man who answered the phone was very rude! He said as I quote you called before and I told you I didnt have one. It might not have been you, but they called and asked for the same thing, 2009 Buick Lucerne. I dont have one. Sorry. And hung up. The problem is, I didnt call before. It could have my husband because were both trying to find the same thing but even if that was the case, that was very unprofessional and I be damn if I go to them looking for anything else. How would I know if my husband had called were both at work. Or it could have been coincidentally another person. But if youre going to run a business, be professional!

Never have parts I need and when they do they are too expensive for a junk yard

Its an old school junk yard, family owned for well over a hundred years. The old man has been there for most of his life over 50 years would be my guess he is close to 80 and still runs it the way his father did and can be a little gruff at times, if he is in the office be nice to him he will normally lighten up and even lights up when he sees friends of the family or regulars that he has gotten to know over the years, He loves to brag about his grandson who plays in the NFL. Prices can be a little high for some things, great on other parts depends on what you are looking for. The yard is not well organized except they have a used car lot in front the better cars available for purchase are kept inside, and they have a small selection of classics that may be good restoration projects behind the building. The employees or owners may accompany you to find a part that is on a car if you want to remove it yourself if its something specific or they dont know you because they have had problems with thieves in the past.

I called 3 times about getting parts here. all three times he gave me the same total price for what i wanted (85). i told him i would be driving a far distance. the first words out of his mouth when i showed up was do you have the cash. then after looking at the car he tried to tell me that he never told me that price and then tried charging me almost 400$ and thats with me taking the parts off myself. He was Rude and unprofessional. i would not recommend this place to anyone.

Super rude told me 225 for a part if i pulled it and 325 if they pulled it so i went and told them what i needed and said they needed a deposit so i gave them $75 and they told me that was for the labor! i said well why am i giving you $100 more to pull the part. Guy was super rude and talked to me like i didnt know anything about cars which i could prob run circles around the man. Super rude and ignorant. will never go back there ever again.
