Car was straight on the driveway and he pulled it up diagonal. The back of the car would have gone right off the flatbed if I hadnt been yelling oh S!*t stop.. the front of my cars undercarriage was resting on the side rail of the flatbed with the bumper scratching on the driveway and the wheel hanging off the side of the bed. Disaster.. he said he had to scratch my driveway to fix this. Use soap and water to make my car slide off the flatbed so that he could then straighten it. My tire after that was being cut into by the rail edge on the other side of the bed. I told him he was going to pop the tire and he said its ok they can take some abuse.. he also admitted that he should have done things the right way and rolled the car down the driveway in neutral to load it flatter and that he shouldnt have acted so hasty. I have it all on video. Never use this company!! I asked for an owner or manager to call me back and that was Saturday. Called several times and still am told no one is available.. very unprofessional!!!!

I have used Floyd’s personally, for business and for a philanthropic organization I work with. Over the years I have gotten to know them well and I have recommended them to many different people. Everyone I have recommended were extremely happy. For me to recommend a company they have to seriously impress me. So many people hate tow companies and leave bad reviews, odds are they were parked where they shouldn’t have been. Floyd’s is always kind, prompt and reasonable. I have had them tow off illegally parked vehicles from lots at my business and a organization I work with, and had them tow my personal and work vehicles. This is the only company I will call, and they always treat me with respect and are sincere with the issue(s) I am facing that caused me to call. I can’t thank them enough for all the help!

This towing company picked up someone elses car and in the process damaged my car - $2000+ to repair. Owner refused to claim responsibility even though several eyewitnesses saw it happen. Unfortunately, it happened in a private parking lot, so the police would not assist. Not only did I have to pay to have it repaired, it decreased the selling value of my car, and I lost money on the eventual sale as well. (NOTE: My car was parked and unoccupied at the time, but also had a FOR SALE sign in the window with my phone number on it.) Please do NOT use this company.

Only $60 for a in town tow. The driver arrived quickly and was very professional. Cab of wrecker was clean. All around good service at a fair price.

Called to schedule a tow but canceled due to drivers not being able to give me a receipt at time of service. They were nice on the phone. Was told I would have to go to their office for a receipt.

Do not work for them .They will run you to death and then not pay you for your work or awnser your calls or texts when you try to get ahold of them I didnt want to go this route but they left me no choice if they make this right I will gladly take this down but this is ridiculous

Everything was fine until they went to drop off the car. He unloaded it on the side of the street across from my driveway which has a no parking anytime sign because he said there was a wreck and had to leave. My driveway has a steep jump over the sidewalk to get the vehicle in so 3 of us pushing wasnt enough and it was stuck in the road cuz we couldnt get it in the driveway until some people stopped to help. Ill never go through that towing company again.

In addition, the tow mechanic very polite and knew what he was doing and all around definitely recommend this locally owned business.

Floyd’s is a very professional company. My car needed a tow and the woman on the phone was pleasant to speak to. The truck got to me very quickly and the guy that towed my car was nice and super helpful! They even waited with me until my husband picked me up from where I was stuck. If I ever get into a situation again I will most definitely be calling Floyd’s again for their wonderful service and affordable pricing!

I have AAA but don’t trust my towing to anybody! Especially my 69 Cougar Convertible! My time is valuable and they are fast! I don’t have to wait hours for AAA and I know that they’re gonna take great care of a cougar on the flatbed. I’ve used them for all my cars for many years you can’t beat the service and the great staff!!

Ive used Floyds several times and theyre always the nicest individuals. All of their tow truck drivers are kind. Their owner is the sweetest person Ive ever met. She is kind and compassionate.One time I called them while I was out drinking. The dispatcher originally told me it would be 65 for the tow, i was okay with that. I checked my account the next morning and was only charged half price. I called the owner and she said she gave me a discount since I was young, opted out of drinking and driving and kept the people I was with/ other drivers safe by not driving. I thanked them profusely.I wouldnt go anywhere else. I also recommend them to everyone I know who needs a tow.

I’ve used Floyd’s several times in the last few months and they’ve always had great customer service. They have gotten to me when they said they would and are always easy to work with. I wouldn’t use anyone else to tow my vehicles. They are the best in town!

You guys never showed up. There was an over 1 hour wait, when we called back to see where was the tow pickup, the secretary said someone would be on the way. The driver was still not in route even an hour later. This was our first time trying to use Floyd’s. This score doesn’t have to stay at 1 star. We would like the owner’s response detailing how they can do better next time. 🥴☹️

No one wants to have to call a tow truck, but if you find yourself in that position, there is no on e better than Floyds! I have had to use them twice, and they have always been professional, courteous, and this last time, miles from home, the driver Bob, gave me a ride home, did all he could, and did not charge me any extra. He refused a tip from me, but did accept some hot cocoa my wife made for him! If youre in need, call them. I rated them 5 stars, only because I couldnt give them 9!!!! Thank you all and God Bless!!

Our car was towed after an accident and my husbands chordless reciprocating saw was in the back and when the car made it to the auction lot due to it being totalled the saw was no longer in the vehicle, we watched the lots video footage and nobody touched the vehicle so the driver or someone at Floyds lot picked it up. Shady characters..makes you really wonder!

I first heard about Floyds in the mid eighties when a friend of mine drove for them. Wanted to establish first and foremost that Floyds has been in business for a long time. And the reason they have been in business for so long is because of the professionalism that has always been used to there customer. They have always let me know if there would be a long wait. The dispatcher has always been professional and as best they could let me know how long it may be.take.

I called in the morning letting them know I would need a tow truck at 2:30 to get my car to the dealer, they said ok call us at 1:30 and we will check you in, I called at 1:30 and they said there would be an hour wait for the truck, an hour and a half passes and still no truck, So I give them a call and they tell me that he’s finishing up with another car and then he’ll head this way I told them I would need to be there by four at latest and she said well there’s no way we can get you in time, I said ok can you go ahead and check me out if the system I’ll have to look for someone else, and she says you won’t get anybody in 20 minutes, not happy with the service at all!

I love working with Floyds, this company has experienced tech who are machanics working as tow truck operators. Not only that but they was polite and cheap, they got to me fast! My husband was proud no damages done done to my car and they was took good care of us. I will definitely use them again and tell my friends and family to use them thanks again!!

Was told 45 minutes to get here over 2 hours later still no sign of them, not even a phone call letting me know of the delay. Canceled the tow... There are many other towing companies in town that actually know how to set an appointment, dispatch and arrive when they say they will or at least have the courtesy to call and notify of a delay.

My girlfriend called to tow my car, because the service was available through her insurance. They promised within an hour. After waiting for three hours they apologized and promised within 30 minutes. After an hour, they arrived. I waited in my living room while the truck driver talked on his phone and then drove away without my car. I called and was told that he had been calling my phone (actually my girlfriends phone) and didnt get an answer so he left. I asked why he didnt come to the house and knock and was told that he did. 15 minutes later he arrived and knocked on my door. I told him the keys were in the glove box and said something along the lines of, just get it done. He flew off the handle, telling me not to talk to him like that, the 4 hour wait wasnt his fault, demanded I apologize to him and said he didnt have to do the job. I argued that after waiting for 4 hours, I was the one that should be apologized to and if he refused to do the job, thats fine, I would just need to get a refund. I pulled out my phone and he asked if I was going to call his boss and if so, go ahead. No one, according to him, gets to talk to him like this except his father and thankfully, that I was not! He finally started to get around to doing his job while I talked to his boss, who apologized and promised to talk to him. I couldnt recommend using these clowns under ANY circumstance.

Would not hire because of seeing his driver this morning around 11am. I was beside him going west on Battlefield about a mile before the stoplight at kansas rd and Battlefield (right at Hyvee). The light turned RED (we were still about 1/2 mile before the stoplight, going 40 mph, he never slowed down just went flying through the red light. Terriable driver. Thankfully no one was going across battlefield or he probably would have killed them.

Floyds wrecker service saved the day today, my wife had a flat tire in Springfield, they were there quickly,they were very friendly and affordable they handled the car with care. I wrecked my Jeep on Thursday around 5 pm and since it was after hours the repair lot was closed so my Jeep was taken to Floyds storage lot for overnight storage. My Jeep did not arrive at the repair shop until just before close of business the following day, Friday around 5 pm, where it sat until Monday morning. Flyods failed to leave the keys with the shop so it was WED afternoon, today, before the shop got my keys and it will be tomarrow before I get my estimate! I feel this is unacceptable customer service, or lack there of. I would NOT recommend them under any circumstances!

Great service, picked me up within 30 minutes.

My mothers car was being towed by floyds,and was backed into a building.It caused damage to both The car and building.The car was toataled. They werent responsible for either,and to add insult to injury we still had to pay for the tow. Never use these guys.You may not have yourself but one of your drivers sure did. It was at primrose just east of Fremont it was a green Pontiac Bonneville. We found pieces of our tail lights at the building. I dont appreciate being called a liar I dont give Google reviews at all, but it I can save someone from going through what we had too then I will. Like I said before never use these guys.

They dont know how to drive. Blocked the entire intersection at Kansas Expressway and Elfindale so no one with a green light could drive forward.
