Had On Star send a tow for my vehicle and had already determined the repair facility that I had already been dealing with. The driver showed up and was very pushy, made me feel extremely uncomfortable the entire time and even was trying to talk be out of taking to the facility i had already chosen. Would not recommend using them for a tow again yet alone having them actually perform any type of repair on my vehicle. Thank God for Complete Automotive.

These guys are great to work with. Compared to other towing companies Ive used, you can tell Terrys really cares about their customers, and their business. I had to ride in one of their trucks yesterday and it was very nice and clean, not something you normally see when getting a tow. Also, they are quick to respond. The wait time was very short and they got me loaded up in no time. They had to pick up a fully custom show vehicle and they were extra careful during the entire process, I was impressed! We were in between traveling from St. Louis, MO to Fort Smith, AR. Our car battery decided to die absolute death in Springfield in a rain storm with our 1.5 yr old. Terry came out jumped the car and got us running. Car wouldn’t operate properly so he towed us back to his shop, new battery, reset computer, courtesy check. We were in a serious pinch and he came through. Super nice guy, let my son nap on my wife in his tow truck with the truck running outside of their shop for about 45 minutes. 5 stars, hands down. They were very prompt and very curious. They price was very reasonable. He could have charged me twice as much because I was in a tight spot with a rental but he didnt. He told me about 20 minutes be he got there sooner. If I ever need something towed again I will diffently call Terrys towing again

I used them just for towing the vehicle after an accident and getting it back. Everything was done fast and efficient even though a bit pricier than other towing service I used. It wasnt big deal for me since other guys insurance paid for it but something to consider.

Terry is top notch in customer service and dedication to his business. He came personally, after hours, to tow our motorhome off the side of the interstate. Several other towing companies said they couldn’t handle our rig or didn’t want to help us (as it was getting late) and they recommended Terry. He came quickly to help us in a very bad spot. We had a blow out on our 5TH wheel camper on interstate 44. There was a significant amount of traffic which made unsafe conditions for myself to change the tire. We called Terry’s and they said they would be there within 30 mins. Just under 30 mins we had a tow truck with flashing lights behind us. The gentlemen was very respectful, professional and knowledgeable. We were back on the road 30-45 minutes after they arrived. My son lives in the Springfield area. If he needs roadside assistance he will be calling Terry’s!

Terrys picked us up at around 4AM and let us stay in his parking lot with my daughters belongings we couldnt leave alone until we were picked up by a family member. They fixed her truck first thing Monday morning and were going to haul it to St. Louis for us. My daughter was on leave and had a short time to be home so we greatly appreciated Terrys speed, accuracy and most important friendliness in our time of need!

I took my 1999 Winnebago motorhome to Terrys for rear brake repair. They completed the job on the same day and for much less money than I thought I would have to spend. They are honest and do quality work for a very fair price.

I had a really great experience with them! I had to get my car towed to a dealer for an appointment, was able to call them a few days beforehand to let them know if I could schedule a tow and they were happy to help. Called the day of about 1.5 hours before I needed to be towed, and they said they would have someone there in 30 min, they actually got there in like 10-15 min! Sheldon was the person who came to tow my car and he was super nice and helpful. I was a little nervous since I had never used a tow truck before but Sheldon made the whole process easy and stress free. He let me know what he was doing the whole time he was putting my car on the flatbed, and then on the drive to the dealer we had a really good conversation. I felt comfortable the whole time with him. The price was actually pretty fair as well. Would recommend to anyone using a tow truck for the 1st time!

I called Terry and explained my situation not only was he punctual, but I met him at the stop light in strafford and he said park your truck and ride with me. He has such a great heart, he made me feel like I had known him my whole life. We arrived at my car and I realized that I had left my keys in my truck. So I got my truck towed, and although I was angry and upset at first I remembered that its not the services fault. They have a business and have to make a living too. They were very kind to me and I wouldnt have wanted to get towed by anyone else. Wow! There are few things worse while traveling than car problems, of which, I had the misfortune of experiencing today. I was truly ready to spend the remainder of my vacation funds on a battery, alternator and who knows what else. Luckily, I had the fortune of coming in contact with these guys! We got a flat on I-44. The first truck came within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately the car was AWD and he wasnt in a flatbed. Jason checked to see if we had a spare but it was flat. He called for a flatbed then parked his truck behind the car to protect us from the cars and semis that had been putting us in danger for an hour. The flatbed came and Jason followed in his truck to make sure we were taken care of. Best service Ive ever received from a towing company.

After calling the first towing service Google offered, they said 3 hours out... no good. Called Terrys and they were there within 30 minutes. Tow and repair within the price I expected. They called me before doing anything on the car, which I appreciated greatly. It was the starter and there was an oil pressure switch leaking oil all over the starter so they suggested changing that as well to avoid future problems. They even took me by my work and picked me up all in the same day! Cant find service that good these days! Would suggest these guys to anyone that even mentions a car issue. Awesome service!

Car broke down 20miles outside of Springfield one evening and cant say enough how great these guys were. The tow truck arrived quickly, the driver Stephen was amazing helped me find a hotel, made me feel comfortable and was very professional. Our transmission unexpectedly went out just outside of Springfield near mile marker 95 on our way back home to Springfield. I was looking for a towing business on the east side of Springfield hoping they might be able to get to us quicker. Found Terrys on Google and decided to give them a try. Ive had to use a few different towing services over the years, but Terrys driver, Stephan, gave us the best experience Ive ever had. We went ahead and decided to drop the vehicle off at their shop for repair as well based on our initial experience. I will follow up with another review on the repair experience later this week.

I bought a car this past weekend, and took it to Terrys to get it inspected. It passed the safety inspection, but two issues totaling about $900 were found in the overall inspection. However, the issues were actually cause by a loose piece that my husband easily pushed into place. We also found that the morning after the safety inspection, our brake fluid was leaking and got below critical levels. This was not found in our inspection (although they did say our car was leaking antifreeze- they mistook the brake fluid for that).We called, angry, and they convinced us to bring the car in for them to look at it. They actually let me watch as they inspected it and explained everything to me. The issue was a hole on the brake fluid line, so they replaced it and even sprayed all the brake fluid off the inside of our hood. They only charged us for the part (and the original inspections). The mechanic, John, was very apologetic and kept saying they would do whatever it took to make this right for us.While my first visit would have been a one star review, they did seem genuinely apologetic for missing the brake fluid during the inspection (and not noticing the loose piece) and went to great lengths to make it right. I was impressed by how they handled our complaints.

Im very grateful I called the crew at Terrys Auto Service and Towing after my car broke down on I-44. The tow truck driver was very friendly and kind to my niece and I while he drove us to a car rental agency. Since it was the weekend I was informed my car would be looked at on Monday. Just like I was told, Terry called me on Monday to tell me some of the issues my car was having and what it would cost. They fixed as much as I could afford but my car still had problems. The guys at the auto shop worked hard to get my car back on the road and I cant thank them enough for everything they did for me. They were very professional, honest, kind, and showed great team work. I will recommend them to anyone! In fact, even though I live in Pittsburg, Ks, I may drive to Springfield, Mo just to have them repair the other issues my car is having. Thats how impressed I am with their service! The gentlemen who towed my car this morning was incredibly polite, quick, and professional. Last night I contacted a different company and the person was rude and I seemed to be a bother. Great friendly service and fast turn around time. We ran over something that put a hole in our oil pan around 9pm. Tow truck showed up in about 35-40 minutes. The car was fixed around 2pm the next day.

I slowed down and gave him the what’s up look with speeding in the neighborhood. He then starts double finger flipping me off. The folks that work here were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful but a little expensive my brothers truck was impounded by there company 4 days was $405 due to they are not open on weekends to retrieve your vehicle.

Terry showed up withing 5 minutes after I called Good Sam Roadside Assistance. He was in the area, on the way to do something else but advised he would be back shortly. He returned in less than 15 minutes with two trucks to assist us with one flat tire. They were able to discover that the air had been let out of the tire, reinflate it, put the tire back on and replace the spare. Done in under an hour. Very personable and knowledgeable!! Terry offers door-to-door service. My van would not start and he came and picked it up from my home and took it to his shop. Once everything was all fixed up (at a super reasonable rate) he delivered it at no extra charge right back to my home and even drove it into my garage! Now thats what I call service!

Terry got to me quite quickly which was great as I was blocking a lane of traffic with a car that wouldnt move. As a very picky auto enthusiast I was very pleased with the great care he took with my vehicle and the price was much less than I had expected. A tow truck is never something you look forward to needing, but when my Suburbans fuel pump decided to suddenly retire, Zeno was there with his truck in a matter of minutes. I know his dinner had already been interrupted twice by the time he loaded my vehicle, but his attitude was great and he was as efficient as Id ever seen. I even got a lift to my office so I could get a ride home! With the cars I own, I know this wont be the last time Ill need a tow - and these guys will be my first call!
