Tex Sun re-plastered my pool. Scott was wonderful kept us in the loop the whole time. My pool was in terrible shape they had to chip out the whole pool....they had all the work done in under a week. Very professional, Dave did our re-balance and was wonderful!! Cant say enough about this wonderful company!!! Highly recommend!!

Since moving into our home a little over a year ago, Texsun has completed all of our equipment repairs and replacement. They recently did a fantastic job re-tiling the entire pool and spa. Their staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the work they have completed has been high-quality.

Had a spa draining down and Jeremy w / Texsun was able to come and get me fixed up and make good recommendations for preventative repairs. He has done a couple of other repairs and is timely, polite and professional. Texsun usually either answers via phone or (if you do an online inquiry submission) respond relatively quickly.

My cleaner timer was not working and required replacement. The technician who repaired it and checked the wiring was very knowledgeable and informative. He also suggested that I install a check valve between the chlorinator and pool heater to prevent potential corrosion of heater parts. I plan to have this installed next week.

Whatever you do please do not use Texsun Pools for anything. I will never do business with them again as long as I live. The circus started after the deep freeze in February when I discovered I had busted valves and piping around my pump and filter area. Texsuns website indicated due to the high volume of calls after the freeze they were only taking service orders/requests on line. On February 25th I filled out a service request online and got a message saying someone would contact me in 24 hours to organize a time. This didnt happen so the following week I contacted them by phone at which time I was told I was being added to their list and it would possibly be 4-5 weeks until someone could come out. The following day a service tech by the name of Jessie called me to come out and have a look at my damage. He arrived on time and inspected my leaks when I asked him for an estimate he verbally estimated it would be about $800. He stated I needed to replace 3 valves at $95 each, some piping and them the labor but no more than $800. I did not get a written estimate (big mistake on my part). He told me it would be 2-3 weeks before he got the parts and left. A week couple of days later he called to say the parts had arrived and he would be at my house between 1pm-3pm on March 6th to install them. We waited until 4pm, we had not heard from the repair man and had to leave our house. When we returned it he had left a note at 4:16pm saying that he missed us (this was over an hour late) he said he would be back Monday to fix our pool. On Monday I called to tell them they could not come because we could not be home on Monday. I was told someone would call me on Tuesday to reschedule. No one called I finally called on Wednesday to find out the status of my order still no answers. On Friday March 12th Jessie called me to say he would be at my house after lunch on Saturday March 13th to fix my pool. I asked for a more specific time than after lunch and was told I would get a phone call Saturday with a more specific time. We ran errands on Saturday morning thinking after lunch means afternoon. No Phone call on Saturday morning. We waited from 11am until 5:30pm Saturday March 13th. I called and made all kinds of waves with their retail store late Saturday but no results. On Monday I finally spoke to Tom White one of the VPs of the company. Tom told me Jessie was at my house at 9:30am on Saturday (this isnt after lunch). We missed him again thinking he would do as he said and arrive after lunch. Tom was very nice and organized the repair of my pool. Jessie came out and repaired my pool and Charged me $857 rather than the $800 he quoted me. No big deal I paid it. After he left I discovered the pool still was not fixed it was still leaking. I immediately sent Jessie photos by text message he told me I had to call the office for a service call. The next day Jessie called to say he only charged me for 1 or the 3 valves he replaced and the valves were $105 each rather than the $95 each he first quoted me. So now by repair bill is well over $1000. I paid the bill the pool is fixed. I will not buy anything from Texun if my life were to depend on it. They are a unprofessional organization. Their employees lie to their customers and they cant perform simple arithmetic. Avoid them at all cost. It isnt worth the nightmare.

TexSun replaced my old mechanical timer and power panel with full automation and VSF pump. The install was super smooth, and completed in one day without any issues. The tech was knowledgeable and friendly. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time.

Tom Steinbacher uses the cheapest chemicals he can find. His warehouse is completely out of code. No fire extinguishers in case of an emergency. OSHA should go by and see. Racks are loaded with material and not bolted to the floor.

The employees at Texsun Pools are always responsive, timely, honest and caring. I went through 4 previous pool companies in a 2 year period until I started using Texsun.Their pricing is competitive.I work with Raymond and Kathy in the office over the phone and both are very responsive. Martin takes care of the weekly maintenance and does a great job!John and Kyle G. have been out when I had system problems, identified and fixed the issues.We are now working through an algae situation and I have complete confidence they will help me get this resolved.The employees in a business can either make or break a companies reputation and bottom line. Recently had Texsun do a start up on a re-plaster . Chuck came out 5 times over a week period and did a great job balancing the water for the new plaster . Ive owned several pools over the years and had a number of maintenance programs including doing it myself. I will say they have been a bit higher than everyone else but have provided good to great service. Im a handyman type so filters and motor replacements I do myself. Ive never experienced a program in communicating with the staff and they always take care of whatever issue I might have. I guess you get what you pay for.

The most important takeaway is the poor communication and incompentence of the office. The employees that do the work are generally decent, but whoever does scheduling needs to be fired. They take at least 3 weeks to get anything done and charge much more than other companies.

Do yourself a favor a DO NOT use this company. I used them for an inspection and they stated the heater was not working. Few days later they send a random email saying that the heater was working. I moved into the house expecting the heater to work and it does not work just like the report stated at first. I called Sue who sent the inspection and I told her what was going on and her response was we can send someone over to show you how to turn it on but there is going to be a fee. What?! The inspector signed on it stating that it wasnt working at first and then all the sudden it was. Now we moved in and we have to pay . If the inspector could not figure it out who works on pools ALL day how are we supposed to figure it out. Take your business somewhere else. No worth the money. Of course they were happy to take my money but not help me figure this out.Do not use them!!!!! They contradict themselves.

We knew nothing about pools when we moved into our new home. The guys and gals at Texsun Pools have fielded numerous phone calls and been so helpful. Weve been in to test our water multiple times and they are patient and explain everything (sometimes 2 or 3 times) and get us specific directions and chemicals that our pool needs. The toy selection is pretty fun too!

When we first moved into our house we didn’t know too much about our pool so we went with this big name company. Very expensive for a salt sensor(double the cost of online) plus labor on top. I am reasonable and am willing to pay more than an online store but that much of a price hike is not appropriate. Pool school was ok but now we realized there are online videos that are better. Just really overpriced.

So so service that is pricey compared to other services. There is a serious lack of communication between the techs who do weekly maintenance and the service dept. On a good note, the staff is always courteous and arrive during the given timeframes. I would recommend checking with other companies before calling here.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO CLEAN YOUR POOL !!! They are awful, careless and we have been told by several other companies that our chemical levels are really off. They appear to be a big company but do not be fooled by this. I dont mind paying more (they are much more $ than other companies) but they are not worth it.

Had to edit this review. Had the worst experience today. For years I have referred many people and boasted about their customer service. But today - that all changed when I had the most arrogant, condescending customer service. Even after calling him out on it, he didnt care, he just kept going.It first started with him making it a big deal that I treated my pool 2-3 says ago with algecide for early emerging alge. I couldnt remember what I treated it with exactly and immediately investigated my account and because I bought biogard several months ago, his response was you bought that a while ago - so what did u use (mind you, I bought it from them, just didnt use it all yet). He kept interrogating me and judged me as he was forcing me to admit I buy products on line [cheaper] ($100 says he has an Amazon account too). He continued to interrogate me about my spending habits and suggesting that Im disrespecting my pool because I dont buy their products.He also talked to me like I have never cared for a pool before even though Ive successfully cared for my pool for over 10 years. He was also extremely focuses on saying I instead of we in his remarks.Ive spent thousands at that store over the years and this is how Im treated. Never seen that guy before - hope they do something before the store reputation falls apart. If your point was to tell me that you want to start charging me for the water tests because Im not making you enough money then fine, but dont be a &#!?* about it. I still spent $45 for a bag of balance pack which he didnt seem to care about because it didnt support his point.I am sorry for how this reflects the other employees who have been great and provided excellent customer services.

Quite possibly the worst customer experience I have ever witnessed. They are the warranty provider for my pool and have been stringing us along for six months on a part that needed replacement, going so far as to accuse my wife of not telling the truth when she brought up key facts. When I have tried to contact a Manager or Supervisor, I have repeatedly been told that they are too busy to call me back. I strongly suggest avoiding this company at all costs, and finding out if they are the warranty provider for your pool before you build - it has been a nightmare.

We just purchased a new Marquis Spirit spa from Texsun and I am pleased with the quality and design of the spa we purchased. The sales staff we worked with were able to give us answers to our questions either in person or in a timely manner. They called back and provided updates on delivery of the new unit to them (was not a floor model) and scheduled delivery to our home without any stress.They could use a better understanding on how to maintain a Bromine inline FROG system (they brought chlorine jump start instead of bromide jump start) and how Bromine/Bromide reacts with Chlorine, MPS and Ozone. This is a new spa solution they are selling so I would expect this to improve as they move forward. They also brought out basic testing strips; I would recommend a DPD test kit at the very least as the test strips are really only good for quick checks.The delivery was a place where we want it and depart; this with the chem tutorial was the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars (though they were professional about the delivery). I had to install the cover locks and assist myself (with my last spa the company I purchased from performed all this on delivery) which was a surprise to me.

Worst Customer Service EVER!!! Purchased a pool cleaner from them and it was broken the day I got it. I took it back and demanded a new one. The cleaner then broke again three months later, except this time they were extremely rude and didnt seem to know anything about the cleaner. They told me that I could just use the cleaner with it broken. It being a Pentair and under warranty, I told them that wouldnt be good enough and they needed to fix it. After two weeks of fighting with both the corporate office and the store, I finally took it somewhere else to have it fixed. They were so rude to me and didnt even know anything about the product they were selling. DONT GO HERE!!!

Its funny that I am reading how terrible the customer service is because this area is upper middle class located in Spring, near Klein residents and they will not hire MINORITIES.......Ive known this place for the last 9 years Ive lived in the Champions area and beside being shock when they see me come in their absolutely dumbfounded when I disclose Im a homeowner with a pool.
