Everytime you go to a new auto shop theres always that fear of not getting a good deal or having to deal with someone telling you how bad your vehicle is. At auto clinic they are only worried about getting you back on the road. The work they do is always whats needed not just what raises the bottom total. Great friendly customer service and would recommend to anyone.

My son and I have been working on an older truck we are fixing up.Mike took the time to explain everything we would be looking at toget it back in shape. He also provided my son some websites to look upharder to find parts for some of the things we would be doing on our own.This would have to be the most honest shop I have every used and wouldrecommend it .

Love this place. Always go here for oil changes and repairs. Finding a good mechanic that you trust is no small thing. Been coming here about 6 years. Competitive prices and you know the job is done properly. Was even told once to hold off on repairs until they became necessary, who does that. The test they passed was when I sent my girlfriend here alone. They told her the problem and didnt try to take advantage. That is integrity.

Car broke down near their shop. They saved my bacon and replaced my radiator the same day. Being paranoid, I checked the average price for replacing a radiator on my car a few days later and found I got a reasonable price. Very happy with and grateful for the service

I think it goes without saying that honest mechanics are hard to find these days. My wifes Ford Fusion needed a new transmission and I took my time and shopped around trying to find a reputable shop to handle the rebuild and installation. Discount Auto Clinic was recommended by a friend and their reviews were solid so I took a chance. Mike is the owner and hes genuine, straight up and explained the entire process. Took longer than expected hence the 4 stars but otherwise very happy. Car runs great and it was money well spent. Got an excellent warranty as well which is unusual for a transmission rebuild. Ask for Mike or Shelby!

Excellent service. My daughter was next door in line to take her driving test. They told her the brake light was out, so she could not take the test unless I had the light repaired and she returned to the line by 3:20 pm. It was 2:55 pm. We drove to this place and explained what happened. There were several cars in the bay, but the mechanic stopped, ordered the part, and had us up and running by 3:06 pm.

Had a/c issues for a while with my stang. I kept on getting the run around with a few places. Found Discount Auto Clinic. Arrived and immediately felt at home. Mike was awesome! Explained to me what was wrong and fixed it. Recharged and out less than an hour. Ready for the houston heat!

Probably great for oil changes and small repairs. Not thrilled with our experience. Pricing ok, but left the car a mess and our dash with several permanent scuffs and scratches. We should’ve gone to a dealership for what we needed done.

I hate to be that customer but I can’t help it. Let me start off by saying that before I even had work done to my car it was a bad experience. I have an older vehicle. In great condition but older. Malaise if you will. I walk in the mechanic says “I sure hated working on those cars back in the day..” when I asked why, thinking it was something mechanical related he says “not mechanical they were just ugly..”, then the other man next to him says “yeah I’m surprised it hasn’t ended up on a crusher yet”. The whole time I’m thinking?? “You know I’m standing right here right??”. I went ahead and foolishly left my keys with them. All I needed was a tune up. I had called the day prior and stressed to them I needed the car by the end of the day the same day. I dropped the car off the very next morning before they even opened at 8. I call at 2pm to check the status of my vehicle and they say “uhh it won’t be ready till tomorrow we haven’t started it yet.” When I ask why, they give me an excuse about not being able to find spark wires.. I have a common v6 Essex motor. All the Autozones in a 20 mile radius on my app showed me they all had the wires in stock. Needless to say as soon as they told me they had let my car sit there for 6 hours without doing a thing to it I left work early and immediately took my business else where. Don’t waste your time.

They didn’t end up fixing my vehicle, but they wanted $1700 for an A/C repair. I had it fixed the next day for less than $700. The other shop also didn’t charge $30 for a diagnoses. Very expensive.

Before reading this you should know this review is 100% business. Discount Auto Clinic has exceeded all of my expectations and I am self admittedly picky.This is the only and I MEAN the ONLY place in town I will let touch my Lexus GS work is outstanding better than dealership. Prices are honest but the work done is just incredible. If any of you out there have F Sport GS 350 you know about the brake problems. After brake pad and rotor upgrade @ Discount Auto my car again drives like fresh out the lot with less brake dust less noise and the smoothest braking money can buy.Why wouldn’t you take it here.Best in town I’d drive 45 mins any day to visit them vs a local mechanic or dealer.Christian Richard Arredondo

These guys are good honest mechanics. Once a few years ago, I changed out the sparkplugs in my truck. One of the old sparkplugs cracked while and some porcelain got down in engine. I brought my truck to them thinking I had done major damage. They checked it and ran the engine for a few minutes. They then informed me that the pistons had crunched up the porcelain and it passed harmlessly through the vehicle. They didnt even charge me for checking it out.

Took my car in to inspect/fix electrical problem. They dont know how to properly fix the limp mode problem which they caused when installing new wiring. Had a Acura technician telling me the wiring was all cut and not position correctly! If you have Japanese brand vehicle, I dont recommend bringing it to this shop.

Came indue to check engine light being on and had a smoke test, evaporator canister replaced, and purge solenoid replaced just to come back to store because the light came back on the next week and went to O Rileys and they detected the same things i just fixed was why the engine light was back on. Not at all satisfied with the service I have never had to come back within a week for a issue that was suppose to be fixed the first time.

Constantly issues with my car wheel bearing. me and my dad have been coming here for your years. And kept noticing issues after getting car fixed from discount auto clinic.very slow service came in a 9AM didnt leave until 2PM needs to hire more technicians. will be bringing it to the dealership I would rather pay more than to deal with constantly getting the same issue fixed on vehicle. says one thing and then another price after its all said and done. also said vehicle was leaking silicone. from a brake job just received by another company.its not a discount all it is another bill to come in the future.

Been a while but he quoted me over 1k for a brake job. Found some one else to do it for less than half of that.

If you have a job that is not something minor stay away from this shop I put my 2006 Lexus Rx 330 in there shop to get Knock sensors, and plugs changed 50 miles later my car started getting hot now that I got a second opinion my engine is shot.
