Hot Houston, TX summer. AC not cooling well, plus vents were so thin, had air escaping! Trung Nguyen came out looked things over asnd gave us an estimate. Looked better than what we planned, so we set the date for his guys to be here, to replace everything (outside and inside units).When the crew arrived (on this 100 degree day), they started by bringing in what looked like space suits! VERY well insulated ducts - made our existing ones look like shredded paper! They hung them correctly instead of laying them on floor as old ones did. Next, they brought in new panels, evaporator and everything else to build the new unit IN THE ATTIC (new Air Box too)! New Condenser unit outside as well.RESULT ... house runs cooler, and the unit does not run as long either - which will be good on the monthly pocket book! As hot as it was, his team finished this big project in one day, and left here with a smile on their faces, KNOWING they did a most professional job!

My Ac went out Friday evening. It was so hot and unbearable by 10. I called 5 different emergency ac repair places I found on Google, nobody had any appointments available. I called KAC Express around 1145 and had an appointment for 12 to 2. I was so happy. He came out on time spent 5 minutes to tell me the problem, had the parts on hand and 45 minutes later my ac was on and running. I highly recommend this business A1 service, on time and I really appreciate him.

Our AC had been fixed a few times and after 30 years of service (original to house) it finally required replacement. We had looked around, gotten several quotes, and they were all virtually within a few hundred dollars of each other. Since the price was within ‘the range’ we asked about service next, my cousin, who also used KAC, had a positive experience — and had zero issues with his AC after it was installed, we decided to go with them. (After talking to several friends who used various companies did not have that experience at all!)They were incredible. Mr. Trong showed up the day before to get payment, and verify what they would be installing, and gave us a rundown of what to expect. They showed up the next day on time, tarps to keep the area clean, they installed the unit, and when they left the place was clean, and you barely knew they had been there. We had the unit installed mid-April along with a new thermostat, and a quick lesson on the thermostat. It’s been perfect since (it’s now early July).Our unit replacement was the full unit, both the AC/Heat. Our AC bill is slightly lower. I’d recommend this company to anyone installing a new AC. (Since we have 2 units, I will be using them for the second one). They were very professional, kept to the schedule and prompt, installation was done well - a trifecta that’s hard to achieve in this industry. 5 stars hands down.

KAC Express has been fantastic to work with. I have used them on two occasions, and both times I received quick and professional service. The first time my outside unit needed to be replaced, and Trung also checked out my inside unit. He very honestly told me it was nearing the end of its life, but that he would wait to replace it.That was a year ago, and it finally reached the “needs replacing” point this week. One call to KAC Express (at 7am that was answered promptly by Trung himself) and he was out that afternoon to assess the situation. KAC came to our rescue when our furnace blower went out. The owner himself came over right away and spent time in our attic diagnosing the many issues we had. This happened on a Sunday afternoon as he and his wife were on their way to dinner. The fact that Trung took the time to stop by our house, go up in our attic and troubleshoot all of the issues says great things about this company! He arranged for us to have a portable air conditioner unit for our bedroom until our AC could be fixed, which was the very next day. They replaced our thermostat, furnace and blower and rewired our system. We were installing a new Nest thermostat when we lost power to the thermostat and the A/C. We called KAC Express and a tech arrived within an hour and a half. Thank goodness there was someone available that late! The tech discovered a blown fuse and finished the install of the Nest thermostat within 30 mins. Very professional and knowledgeable. Absolutely incredible. The owner came to my house to evaluate the situation. He gave me a more comprehensive explanation of the problem within 15 minutes than the other four big-name companies that I had give me estimates previously. He then told me the out-the-door price and I was shocked. Significantly lower than all four other companies, despite the materials (AC/furnace/etc) being the exact same models as what I was quoted by the other folks. Good financing options, and they even did the install the next morning. 5pm the owner came to my house to evaluate everything. By 10am the next morning the guys were installing. Not just that, but they did an AMAZING job on the install! The side of my house was bad and the spot where my old AC had been was covered in mud and not perfectly level. They filled it with crushed granite then leveled it and put a 4x4 concrete tile down underneath. In the attic, my furnace was in a really weird spot right against a support column. They took the old AC out, setup a perfect location in the attic, installed the new AC, and even replaced some of my air ducts that apparently had some rough spots. I wasnt charged anything extra for this although I happily would have paid. I have told numerous friends and family about KAC Express already and will continue to do so. Im a customer for life now.

Our AC unit went out on a Saturday night when the heat index was over 100 degrees. We emailed multiple companies at 11pm and KAC called at 7am on Sunday to set up an appointment. Trung came out that morning to diagnose the issue and provide a quote. He also reset the unit so we had air conditioning the rest of the day. The unit was from 1997 and needed to be replaced. After receiving multiple quotes we selected KAC and they installed a new system on Monday morning. The staff was professional and efficient. The overall experience was great. We were so pleased with our experience! Our AC went out on a Saturday just an hour before we had to leave town overnight. KAC was the only company who answered the phone right away, and Trung arranged to come by for an inspection within the hour. He was forthright about the challenges of getting parts quickly during the pandemic, especially for a unit as old as ours, but pulled through for us to get the installation completed first thing Monday. Other repair companies in the area took hours to get back to us, and the earliest they could even inspect the house was Monday. (When its 100 degrees out, you cant wait more than a day!) Price was also very competitive-- not much more than buying the unit outright online without labor costs, and on the low end of the typical range for a unit our size. Trung regularly called us to keep us updated throughout the process. The entire KAC crew was friendly and very respectful of our home throughout the full day of intense work. Trung has called to check in with us in the week after, and he even came by to look things over in person and confirm it was all working well. It was a lazy, 95-degree sultry Sunday afternoon in August, 2020, when suddenly we experienced half a dozen power surges in a matter of seconds! Our air conditioner began making a horrible, loud buzzing sound. Cool air was no longer flowing through our vents! The house temperature began to rise. Ahhhggg! Who in the world would come out on a Sunday afternoon to fix the problem?! My husband was sure that no one would, but he found a listing for KAC Express and gave them a call. About a year and a half ago, KAC Express installed two split Trane HVAC units and furnaces at my home - 2 and 3 ton. They did a high quality install and had no issues. The work was all completed within a single work day. The crew was very clean which I really appreciated. They put work mats down all along the path and did not scratch any walls even though my home is three stories high. The price was very reasonable as well especially considering that they were installing Trane equipment which is often more expensive.I have had no issues with the units since installation. Works much better than the previous units. I have also recommended KAC to multiple friends and family. They have all been very appreciative afterwards and had very high praise for KAC. I cannot give a higher recommendation for them!

I’ve been using kac express since we moved to our house 10 years ago.Yesterday they replaced my ac coil coz it has a leak.The guy who installed it accidentally poured water in the attic and one of the smoke detector got wet and triggered the alarm.He said that wait till it gets dry before putting it back and if it doesn’t work then just tell to Mr.Trung and he will pay for it.Mr.Trung came and he said he will give me a $10 check as a payment.So he went to his pickup truck and just left. I was thinking that probably he change his mind and will just go to the convenience store and get a change.But he never came back. I did not hear from him since then.So for a $10 this company just lost a loyal customer.I will never use KAC EXPRESS anymore because I lost trust with them especially Mr.Trung.Update:Mr.Trung called me and said that he mailed the check.He apologized to what was happened. When he told me that he will write a check I was expecting that he will give it to me the same day and not by mail.It was all misunderstanding.

Amazing service - called when my new unit failed to come on 45 days after installation. Turned out to be a manufacturer defect on the thermostat (zero fault of KAC). I called at 6PM and they came out within 30 minutes to make it right. I was stunned. Would 1000% recommend them!

After reading the reviews and getting quotes from other companies, we decided to use KAC express. Even my AC guy that i have been dealing with for the past 5 years was OVERPRICED. We called KAC on 7/11/16 at 3pm to have someone come out and give us a quote and the Technician that arrived at 5pm (Abel) he quickly went up into the attic to check everything out and the outside unit. I could tell he knew his stuff just by the way he was talking to his crew about what is needed and so forth and so on. Our AC had been acting up after 11 years old. We decided to get the AC and Furnace (19 yrs old) replaced by KAC and are COMPLETELY SATISFIED. They gave us a reasonable QUOTE that we were happy with. Annual AC Inspection: Nick with KAC Express was 5 star. I am a fairly new homeowner and knew little about AC units/inspections. I called Expo heating and cooling but was told Sorry we are too busy, we cant help you Expo was sort of rude (how are you too busy for a potential new customer) but KAC actually provided top quality service and customer service. I called KAC on a late Wednesday evening and they wanted to come out the next day on Thursday but scheduled for Friday morning. KAC Express was prompt and actually walked me through the process and was totally transparent. Nick was passionate and knowledgeable and taught me a few things regarding the ac system. Very impressed by this company. Professional and prompt. They replaced our inside and outside units and did a good job. Unfortunately, we had some issues with the condensate drainage (there wasnt enough space in the ceiling to allow for enough slope of the pan). The office was very prompt in sending a technician out to rectify the problem, and it was covered by their labor warranty so it came at no additional cost. They seem very trustworthy.
