My A/C was not working today. Called Weiss about noon. They had a tech out that afternoon and figured out my evaporator coil had a hole in it. Nick called to inform me that they had one in stock. They came out tonight, installed it, and checked to ensure my A/C was working properly. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend them.

There is a reason this company has a 5 star rating! Im speechless! I received the estimate and within 24 hours the old system is out and the new system is in! Their unbelievable! Spoke to Nick the owner about our AC not working during the weekend. He had a technician over within the hour. The technician was amazing, understanding and fast to figure out the issue during Labor Day weekend. While the technician was over, our Belgian Maligator got out and the poor technician had to jump on the AC unit in the yard. He was very professional and understanding. Nick@Weiss AC and Heat came highly recommended to me from a friend at a AC Supply Co. I had 2 trees struck by lightening and it affected my AC and nearly all the Lights among other things in my house. I had my AC repaired by a Company I had used once before and all my neighbors use. He assured me he was able to work on the type of unit I have which is a little more complicated than the typical unit. That was obviously not the case, as my unit stopped cooling within days . I decided to call Nick@Weiss AC and their Technician was there within a few hours. My unit was frozen up and needed to thaw and I was told a technician would come back the following day. By 10am another technician arrived at my home. He diligently worked on my entire unit checking everything possible and correcting the mistakes of the previous company. He explained every thing he was doing or had done and why. He had pictures as well. We were already aware of the mess left by the other company as we had been in the attic. He explained what we needed to watch for and what to do if we had any issues. We were very relieved to say the least. Nick and his company have a communication system in place that keeps him in the loop and offers comfort to the client. We feel we have found the company to meet our AC needs for the future. We called Weiss AC and got ahold of Nick. I told him I felt like our AC unit wasn’t cooling properly and we couldn’t get it down past 76 at night. He immediately got us schedule and a text was sent to my phone for a technician to come out the following day. The technician showed upon time, was responsive to my questions/concerns, respectful and informative! He diagnose the issue and was able to fix it immediately. I had a small leak in my system, he stated that he could put a dye in the system, that would also act as a sealant, if the leak was small enough. After that he would add in a couple pounds of Freon. By mid day, in Texas summer heat, my house was cooling at 71 degrees. Before leaving, the technician went ahead and schedule a quick follow up visit to see if he could spot the leak and if the sealant work.The service was great and we willContinue to use Weiss in the future

This was my yearly check up. I have become a stickler about making sure to have this done @ least twice a year. I do NOT trust anyone but Nick to have this done though. I will wait if I have to rather than go somewhere else. It has been my experience that it does not PAY to go with someone you do not TRUST for something as important as your AC especially with this heat.

I had a thermostat screen burn out on a five year old system. The office staff was very accommodating of my schedule. My thermostat was quickly converted from the builders two wire system to a standard five wire system that would accommodate a new thermostat I had purchased from Home Depot. Weiss Air Conditioning & Heating took great care of us today!!! Had been using another company for semi-annual service and inspections, and over the weekend we started noticing significant issues with our system. Nicks team came out and it was simply a wire that was not connected well, the seals in the main unit in the attic were not correct, and most of my dampers were either half or all closed. They came out immediately last Friday when we found the upstairs taking a long time to cool. They found that our refrigerant was low, so they charged it up and put in a dye, and would follow up in a week to see if we had a leak. But Tuesday night it wasn’t holding a cooling temp. They were out very first thing Wednesday and sure enough, found a major leak in the evaporator coil. They took care of all the warranty info and were out the next day first thing to replace it. We are back to a cool house! Very happy with the service, as they explained everything to me each step of the way, showing me how and why.

All I want to say is that it is once in a blue moon these days to find a business that is run the way Nick Weiss does his. I know that I will not think twice before calling Weiss AC next time I have an AC problem because of the level of expertise and professionalism that Nick and his team showed.************************************************Nick and his team is great. We recently need to replace the entire system at our house. Since we are on a budget, Im a little worried about the quality of the brands that we can afford. However, I read up on many online forums and they always say the technician who installs your system is much more important than the brand you choose. You can choose a very fancy system and it would be no good with sloppy installation. On the other hand, great technicians can make a valued system work at its best. I definitely feel like that is the case here with Nick and his team. Nick was able to help me select a good brand that suits our budget. More importantly, his team (Nick C., Greg and Josh) did a superb job to install it. I even compare it with the new system that my neighbor got from another company a month ago and even to a non-expert eye, you can tell the difference in the workmanship. Not only that, the team is punctual to the minute and get the job done very efficiently the next day to make sure we get cool air for the hot weekend. One of my AC units quit working late Saturday night. Weiss was at my house early Sunday AM, rapidly and accurately diagnosed the problem and got me up and running.Also found an issue with my other unit that was a system failure waiting to happen, and corrected it on the spot for no charge.No upsell, no unnecessary charges.
