AWFUL. If I could give negative stars I would. I went for a full set LESS THAN TWO WEEKS ago. 6 of my nails have come off and the other 4 that are still on are lifting. They did not treat my cuticles at all. The base of my nails are very bumpy and my thumb is uneven from the rest. When I asked for the nail to be longer the man laughed and told me it was even when it clearly wasn’t. When he was filing he was catching my skin and I started bleeding. I also wanted a design and they said they were not able to do a simple design. It took over 2 hours to do a solid color. After all of this I was charged $65. I still tipped because of the time he took but it was not deserved at all. I then called and asked for a refund and the lady was very rude, told me it is common for nails to lose strength after 11 days, and denied any refund or even a discount. This place is very unprofessional. Horrible quality. I thought I would try a new place but never again will I be back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

My daughter in law and I had our nails done here. I asked for a red glitter. They had to put 4 coats on and I actually had to tell them no more.. my nails were so thick they looked deformed. She asked for a design which they said they could do, only to find out after 2 different try’s they just did a French manicure that definitely wasn’t a French manicure .. Really disappointed

I have never not tipped a nail tech... NEVER. Today was a first. My request was simple, remove current dip and replace with new. No manicure, but she still managed to cut my cuticles and filed my skin so much till it bled. Not once did she attempt to stop the bleeding or even apologize. I bled so much she even had it on herself. I’m shocked that it didn’t even phase her and I believe she was an owner! Figured I would try some place new as it’s on my way home from work, but I’m good. I’ll never be back.

Now that I have found nail star salon and and Kim on 589 and county line road in Spring hill Florida I will never ever go anyplace else again again star nail salon you rock Nail star salon is the only place I will ever go to again

My daughter got a set done that was suppose to be pointed and they all different shapes from points to rounds. Personally she has done better shaping on her own and this was her 2nd time getting nails done and was disappointed herself. I had a set done and there is a sink hole in my thumb then my ring finger has a faint line not even painted on the edge. The pricing was more than the first place that did a better job plus I was told one price but then charged at the end for uneven nails. Very very disappointed after I seen such a good review.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I had 3 pedicures done for myself and my two daughter and the technicians were from the beginning rude and seemed bothered by having 3 pedicures at the same time. I will never go back to this place nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I went to one nail salon awhile ago and they bruised my nails with the drill, so I came to nail star and they were fantastic. Great service and prices. They are all so nice. I 100% recommend.

First time here. Came in to get a fill. The female technician that I had was extremely rude. She was rough and snatched my hands the entire time. I will not be back.

My Mom and I are new to the area and decided to try Nail Star since they have such great reviews.Very clean salon, and the gentlemen who helped us were nice, but I cant say Im happy with the services. Being that a basic pedicure is $25 and the dip powder starts at $40, I expected my nails to last a bit longer. The photos Ive posted are within 5 days of getting our nails done and my Moms nail polish on her toes are chipping as well. Im not surprised though because they seem much thinner than they usually are when Ive gotten it before.This is majorly disappointing, as Ive been getting dip powder for much less money and itll last at minimum 3 weeks. Now Ill have to spend more money getting my nails done over in less than a week.

UPDATED 12/13-The owner as you can see below reached out via this platform. She was extremely nice and concerned from the photos of my nails. I went in and she fixed them all. They genuinely look good and what I wanted now. Moral of the story pick the owner.Had high hopes with the reviews but my acrylics are all different shapes, the paint is uneven, and the acrylic is glued to my cuticle.my pedicure was rushed and I had to remind them to get my ingrowns. im 9 months pregnant and cannot bend to do them myself.the amount of cuticle that needs to be trimmed not only on my fingers but my toes too is unnoticeable.so sad.

Nail Star is wonderful Scott did my pedicure and I am suffering with severe arthritis I can barely walk I had the gold pedicure with cdb I really didnt think much about it but WOW I got up this morning and could actually stand in the kitchen and start holiday preparations Thanks! Scott.

My eyebrows were completely messed up and she denied that she messed them up, wouldn’t fix them, and now I am mortified and have to walk around with uneven eyebrows. I am so so very upset. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars. I am so embarrassed and humiliated, not the way you are supposed to feel walking out of a salon.

Shop owner very rude, nails bent up, asked her about this and she said rudely “you go over there” to another man who was unable to fix. Im sure she will reply with a lie but be careful as the owner sucks at nails, the others generally did well but she did not

I dont get my nails done after, when I do Im never satisfied because of the lack of attention to detail or just done quickly.Today, William did my nails and I love love them. Thank you so much for not only taking you time but also the last minute touch up. Ill definitely be seeing him again for now on :)

Moved here from Massachusetts 7 months ago and they are better than any salon up north. This is the first nail salon i tried and i will never go to any other place. Everyone is polite and do amazing jobs.

I have been going to this place and Kim is great I am usually short on time. Kim gets me in and out and I am very rough on my nails and they always last. I flip flop back and forth between polish and gel. Clean and well managed between walkins and appointments.

Ive been going to Kim for over 10 years she and Scott have a very nice and clean salon Ive never had a bad experience there and their pedi spa is amazing my fill on my nails last over a 2 week period and I wish and sanitize my hands all day I work in a doctors office I highly recommend nail star and the staff Im a very satisfied customers.

Definitely not somewhere Id go regularly, or again honestly. My pedicure barely lasted 5 days and I dont like a place that doesnt open sterilized tools on front of you.

I had a great experience this time. Im from out of town and had a not so great expierience last summer when I last visited. Fortunately i did not see the same nail tech today. This time around I was seen to right away and my gel mani and pedi came out great. The female nail technician was nice, professional & provided great service. There are also tons of color match options at this location which is always nice to have! The price is the same as up north trip state area prices so Id say it was fair based on my regional price point.

First llets talk about how tuesdays n wednesdays they give 10 percent off and second as soon as i walked in kim had a wonderful color selection ready and easy for me to see and decide up close. I loved that! My nails came 9ut beautiful and exactly what i planned . Even with me being picky kim did exactly wat i wanted n i never felt uncomfortable for a aecond thank you!

Terrible gel nails. Did not last 5days. The guy who did me ....was in a hurry I think. Rushed the process. My pedi was good.

Mani/Pedi done. Polish only lasted 2.5 days before peeling and chipping. Pedi massage VERY weak. No massage on hands.

I wont go back. She rushed thru my manicure, left sloppy nail polish around my nail which I said something about, gave me a short arm massage - didnt even go up my arm just my palms and fingers - and left my hands super greasy. I did cats eyes and 3 fingers dont have the effect. She didnt soak my fingers and just used that stupid drumel tool on my fingers. She acted like I was wasting her time. I wont go back.

They do not work well, horrible pedicure ..i informed the owner of the bad work on my feet and even then he got angry an yelled at me, and even then i had to pay for the bad work..definitely that place does not have to continue working.. even if they tell me its free i do not go back to do place

Horrible service, the water was got almost burn my feet to hot when I told them, the girl manager or owner scream at me like I am having the service for free, they say o is more cold now when I put my feet in they came out red IT WAS HOT, STILL, THEN THEY LOOK AT ME VAD ALSO BOT MASSAGE AS GOOD AS OTHERS PLACES,NEVERRRRR COMING BACK
