Came into Spokane for work yesterday and thought Id take a gamble and see if ANY salon could take a walk in haircut around 3 on a Friday. They were the 3rd place I tried (referred by another salon) and it was like goldilocks... this place was just right! FIRST I love that they call themselves a Design Group! These small things help build much needed respect for their industry!! I was a stylist for 10-15 years and IMO Goldwell is the best color so I got excited and thought Id push my luck and they graciously took me in for both services . My stylist Kai was delightful, had a great attitude and did a great job! The vibes in this place are great! Diverse ages working along side the owners with smiles and not a hint of eyerolls, drama or tension and I can smell that shiz a mile away. I love that Kai worked up in their shop and they use apprenticeship programs. I of course ended up wanting a more complex shade at the last minute and Kai (who I believe is a newer stylist but Id only know bc she told me) had no problem working out the formula with one of the owners. Such nice people, great vibes and support. My hair looks amazing and they gave me wine! More salons like this please!

I had fried my hair almost off during covid with crazy colors and bleach. Thank god for Brenette, Ed and Tony for giving me a fantastic cut, and giving me a new look. Legit one of the best experiences ever at a salon!

Charity is an amazing stylist. I love the high lights and low lights she did on my hair. I highly recommend Charity!!!!

A haircut here is an experience. Everyone was practicing social distance while I was treated to one of the best hair salon visits I’ve ever had. I completely forgot the world, forgot I was getting my haircut, just felt complete relaxation (which these days I Very Much need). Brenette and the rest of the crew have done really well in creating an atmosphere that can free you from the worldly issues of the day or even year...even if for only a moment.Oh and I got one AWESOME haircut too :)

Avery did my hair and she did awesome! Went to another salon and instead of blonde my hair came out red/orange. Was told by many people Blades was the place to go, and anytime someone asks me I will definitely recommend them. Only place I will go back to from now on!

Im 28 and have been getting my hair colored since i was 16 and this is the ONLY place in Spokane that I will go to from now on! I ❤❤❤ my hair, it has never looked better since I came in for a color correction and a highlight this last time! The service is excellent, the ladies are all super sweet and they really take the time to make sure your hair turns out the way you want it. Outstanding hair salon!

I absolutely love this place! The owners are so nice. The salon is clean. Vita is the best hair dresser I have ever known. I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Vita does exactly what you ask for. Most hairdressers I have met like to do what THEY think will look good not what you ask them to do. Vita makes sure she is doing exactly what you want. I always leave extremely happy. Thank you Blades and Vita for being so awesome!!!

All I can say is wow!!!! Vida is the best!!! So Im 36 years old and I had really long curly hair and it has always had the same style. I have had my hair bleached and dyed alot over the years but always had really long and curly hair. I wanted a huge change. I went into blades scared that my hair wasnt gonna turn out. I got a really short A frame and and full foil of bleach with brown undertones. When I say I am super happy with my experience I mean it. The prettiest little tiny girl names Vita did my hair. I will never go anywhere else EVER! I can never express how happy I am but I want to say thank you so much for taking the time to do it right and making me feel so comfortable. Thank blades and thank you Vita. I recommend this place to everyone!!!!

I have heard nothing but good things about Blades, but I got me hair cut a couple weeks ago with a girl names Avory and it was the worst haircut I’ve had in my life! Won’t go there again.

In not going to discuss the issues that was prsented during my second experience at Blades (first visit was awesome great customer service! Got a great haircut by Lindsay ), but Im impressed with how professional the beautiful manager handled herself and making me first priority. No one wants to feel uncomfortable telling someone they did a horrible job especially when its your hair (color) but I have enough confidence to and I did. The manager fixed the problem no charge went above and beyond for me and I didnt feel uncomfortable to want to come back and fixed the problem. The worst thing in a business is making a mistake and not owning up to it and fixing it. This was not done by the manger by another staff to clarify. I will continue to come back because I know I wont lose out if this ever happens again which I highly doubt because I found my new favorite hair style girl.

Lindsay does a phenomenal job with color and cut and I am very picky. She was fantastic

I got a unexperienced stylist, who destroyed my hair😭called and left messages for owners multiple times never heard back. Lesson learned 🚨The damage that was done to my hair even with corrective color and treatments..can only really be cut out😔 I have a halo of 1 inch breakage throughout my whole head .. before the girl did my color I had healthy shoulder length hair I could go on and on but please dont use them for color services and the fact that I called 4times and the owner or manager was not available nor would they call me back after 3weeks .. they dont really careThey should be happy I know Jesus
